Louis’ June items

Hello Everyone…..By now, most of you have received the clothes from my May Anniversary shows. I hope you are enjoying them. It seems that there are many happy “Linea Ladies”…. I sure hope so. My June shows are 6/9 at 4:00pm and 6/10 at 5:00am….both are one hour shows. I will be working with Carolyn Gracie, whom I truly LOVE….she is the real deal!!! I will also be working with Amy, who is the sweetest new host. They should be fun shows. There are a few new things for June and two things that I thought were going to be on the May show. Summer is here, not officially, but it sure feels like it…….so here we go:
1-A199857, is a rayon, linen blend jacket. This is the same fabric as the dress with the organza inserts and many items I’ve done in the past. This jacket has an ethnic look with a small stand collar, 3/4 sleeves and side slits. It has a kissing front with loops and buttons. It also has a narrow modesty piece running vertically under the buttons so you don’t have to wear anything under it if you choose. The front of the jacket and the collar have a very intricate emb. pattern. It is Moroccan inspired and, I think… quite beautiful. Only the front of the jacket is lined to keep it a true summer weight, however, to make it even more special, it is lined in self linen/rayon fabric! Very expensive looking! The colors are: white with black and gray emb., purple with tonal emb.[ lighter and darker threads], and a natural “Linen” color, again with tonal emb. Wear them with everything you received from my May shows and more.
2-A199858, Is a rayon/span jersey tank. I actually showed it under the Leopard print lavender jacket. It has a pleat detail at the bottom of the neckline which gives the tank a little drape …not too much…. just enough to hide any tummy issues. The colors were done to go with the above jacket, but they work with many many things. The colors: black [works with everything and is the one shown with the leopard jacket], taupe….this taupe has a slight olive cast and works with the “Linen” color jacket. I love it with bottoms in black, natural beige such as linen or khaki and I think it compliments the new olive big shirt and olive boho skirt. It’s a terrific natural base color. Purple….Ladies this works perfectly with the gray and violet zip front jacket! The purple is a little deeper but the same cast. It also looks great with the pink/purple scroll print skirt! I tried it with the purple boho and the new long pebble crepe skirt. It does not match exactly….it is a little off, but, because it is so much deeper, I liked it…..It is a beautiful, saturated color and will work 12 months out of the year.
3-A199856, is my cold shoulder peasant blouse. It is the exact same fabrication as A198824. This blouse has shoulder straps [wide enough to hide any bra straps] and a square neckline. It has a button front and it has side slits. The sleeve is 3/4 length with elastic at the top and bottom…..Remember the shoulder is exposed! Very sensuous!!! It also comes with a multi-strand tie, self belt… if you want it . For me, it’s the perfect summer blouse when you are looking for something with a sleeve. It covers what you want covered and it is still cool and comfortable. The colors: black, deep fuchsia, and azure.
Hopefully, the A199791, jumpsuit in azure and olive and the A199800 v-neck emb. cotton/span t-shirt will make this show!!!!! The t-shirt colors are: black with multi-colored emb.,azure with multi colored emb. and yellow with multi-colored emb. The yellow looks gorgeous with the ivy green boho skirt! The A107319, window pane shirt is the reorder item for this show. The new color is the mocha shirt with the sky blue plaid accents….great with jeans.
Well, my Dear Friends, this will be the end of spring/summer 2010……then on to Fall in Sept. with jewelry, and essentials!!!!!!! Again, I must thank you all for your support, warmth and generosity. I am excited to be working on the Fall collection, but let’s all enjoy the summer…relax and look and feel great and savor the beautiful days.
All my Love…………..Louis
