Jac and I want to wish each and every one of you a Happy Thanksgiving! It has been a joy for us getting to know you and being able to “speak” on such a personal level. Though many of us have never met, we do consider you our friends. It is quite amazing, that through QVC and the internet, how much our lives have changed. I am ever so grateful for your friendship and all of your prayers during this difficult time. Why is this fur jacket so special……well one of the reasons is , after 12 years of presenting clothes to you, this is the first faux fur jacket I am bringing to you! I have looked and looked at different faux furs and this one “called” out to me. It replicates BROAD TAIL which is commonly confused with Persian Lamb. The fur pattern of Broad Tail is more spaced out than Persian Lamb and the hair is flatter and shinier. …..my flash has made the fur seem shinier than it actually is. In the real world of furs the difference in price between coats in the two furs is approx. $20,000. Broad Tail is a very light weight fur and is extremely exclusive. The jacket I am bringing you TONIGHT on PM STYLE has a ZIP FRONT, horizontal  BAND POCKETS and has rib knit sleeves and a rib knit  back panel for movement and comfort. This treatment on garments has become a “LINEA SIGNATURE”. The front body is entirely made in the fur. The style number is A229709, and since it is already on the Linea site and has appeared in the QVC “Insider Magazine”, all the size info you may need is already posted. Another thing I personally love about this jacket is it is truly DAY to NIGHT and can be worn CASUALLY or DRESSY. A WHITE KATE shirt and jeans, a great shoulder bag, fabulous boots and big black sunglasses is all you need…….casual does not have to mean BORING. If you have to put a jacket on…..why not a faux fur with your jeans. The rib knit also can give the jacket a casual look as opposed to an all over fur jacket. For dressier occasions the rib knit gives the jacket an EDGIER look, and is not as serious as an all over fur jacket. Wear it over my new black sequin dress and you can wear it to any dressy event……if your life is casual and you have no need for such items in your wardrobe…..I SAY…..CREATE an EVENT! It is so much more FUN to play dress up once in a while!! There are so many things you can wear with this jacket and so many different looks you can create……your imagination is your only limitation. A bohemian look with the black paisley peasant boho skirt with shawls in different colors and beads to SUPER CHIC all BLACK, and everything in between will give this jacket lots of versatility. Pair it with you new Hounds Tooth check skirt and scarf for one look or your black skirt and or trousers and a red shawl another day. Like I said, it can hang in your closet for special occasions or it can become one of your go to jackets and wear it almost over anything. As of this very moment there are 8 five star reviews already in and it hasn’t even been presented. “The Sequin Dress” is style number A229711. As many of you know it is already posted on the Linea site for early selling and was featured in the “Insider Magazine”, so the quantities are already diminished. This will be the very first item sold on PM Style, so make sure to tune in EARLY or you will miss it!!!!!! The colors are VIOLET…..BLACK. This is a brand new fabric for me……it is a re-embroidered knit. You can see in some of the closer photographs that the tiny sequins are sewn on with a thread that has tiny spaced out loops in it. For you knitters you sometimes see a mohair yarn done this way. What this does is separate the sequins so the effect is more of a TWINKLING of sequins and not a sheet of sequins. The dress has a short sleeve and all the other measurement you would need are already posted on the Linea site. The dress is lined in a stretch fabric so the dress is super comfortable. There is also a back zipper ans small hook and eye. The fit follows the shape of the body without being tight, and it is certainly not boxy. I think it fits beautifully and I would suggest you order your normal size. If you are looking for the perfect jacket to wear over the dress I  would suggest the textured weave jacket in the black or violet which is perfect with either dress. The A229475 violet jacket in the herringbone boucle, from the last show, is a perfect match. For something a little off beat the violet/black and ivory/black Hounds Tooth check jackets also work perfectly. For an edgier look……..the black leather blazer with the knit sleeves and the sequin dress is HOT!!!!! Last but certainly not least …….the new faux fur “Broad Tail” zip front jacket is too much for words over the dress! I am sure you already have  too much hanging in your closets that will be perfect over these simple…..but chic dresses…….a satin trench coat worn open is always a fantastic look.

I know you are going to ask about the BEADS so this is the story. Number one, I do not have the style numbers yet. They have been delivered and are in the QVC warehouse,…..when they are going to be posted I am not sure. I have three different necklaces on the black dress photo. One is a plain black jet necklace, the second is a vintage necklace with spaced out jet beads…………..the third is the LINEA NECKLACE! It consists of three types of beads all in the same round faceted shape. There is a black jet bead, a gunmetal bead and the third bead is a crystal bead…..but…..half of the bead is coated in SILVER so you get the sparkle of the crystal AND the silver. I will be showing this necklace in the show [3 STRANDS] ……..you know I like abundance!!!!The necklaces are the same length as the long pearl necklaces so you can wear it single and super long, doubled, tripled and for you swan neck ladies….even four times around. I have to say I do like at least two strands worn together, but that’s just me. The second combination is VERY SPECIAL and something you will NEVER see out in the stores. It consists of very deep amethyst faceted round bead, an antique copper bead an an iridescent  purple bead with copper high lights…………it is very unusual and very beautiful. It also looks great with your TEAL, VIOLET and TOPAZ boucle jackets. Along with the necklace there will be a 5 strand stretch bracelet……..just beautiful. With each new piece….. the quality is consistently there and I think my manufacture and I are really in sink with just what I expect each and every piece to look like. I tell them “it always has to be about the look and quality…..we will worry about the price later”. As I tell them…….” if I don’t like it…..the price is irrelevant!……..So, make something I will like FIRST!!”……………………………………..Enjoy……………..much LOVE…………..Louis

J271864 is my second watch offering, and since the Holidays are here……..I thought a beautiful dressier watch would be something really SPECIAL. This watch comes in two color ways…….SILVER TONE…….GOLD TONE. There are those who love their diamonds set in platinum and those who prefer the warmth of yellow gold………I like both! There are three rows of fully cut AUSTRIAN CRYSTALS bezel set into the watch band and tiny cut crystals surrounding the face of the watch. The watch is also adjustable…..there are two links for a larger wrist or by removing one…..for a smaller wrist. There is NO NICKLE IN THIS WATCH!!!. I truly believe a well dressed woman NEEDS a dressy watch as part of her complete wardrobe. Nothing ruins an evening look more than seeing a woman dressed for a special occasion wearing a sporty watch…….it is just a big DON’T. The face of the watch is very classic which I think makes it look very expensive…..no gimmicks needed with an expensive watch. I tried to capture the sparkle of the stones in my p9ictures, but I did not do a very good job of it. Believe me when I say….it sparkles, and in evening light it looks absolutely real……..for that matter in daylight too. I keep referring to this watch as an evening watch, but you know there is no line drawn in the sand when or where you can wear anything.  A pair of jeans, a white Kate shirt…..diamond studs and this watch is, for me, simply classy…………………Enjoy…..much LOVE……………….Louis

I am a little late posting my sneak peeks thanks to Hurricane Sandy, but better late than never. The style number is A229710, all the other information has already been posted on my Linea site at QVC. This sweater is my ode to “Sonia Rykiel”, a wonderful French designer whom I have admired for many many years. She is famous for stripe sweaters with FEMININE FLOURISHES…..hence the SEQUINS and BOW. STRIPES, STRIPES, STRIPES are making a strong comeback and appeared on many of the MAJOR DESIGNERS runways both here and in EUROPE. You will be seeing lots and lots of stripes come Spring 2013. I wanted to offer this sweater to you so you would be ahead of the pack! The things that make this special are the graduating stripes, the tunic length which is elongating and the graceful ballet neckline. There are three rows of black stripes that are paved in sequins on the upper body and the sleeve. There are NO SEQUINS ON THE BACK. The “BOX BOW” is similar to the one you see on Ferragamo  shoes. It is sewn on, so for those of you who prefer the sweater without the bow…..it can easily be removed without hurting the sweater…..just be careful not to cut the sweater! HOWEVER, before making any snap judgments, wear it out once or twice and see what reaction you get…..it is discreet and adds a French flair…….you might be surprised. The colors are ………..IVORY/BLACK……..VIOLET/BLACK……….COBALT/BLACK……………..GREY/BLACK. Of course the deep colors with the black tone the effect of the bold stripe. I especially love the Ivory/Black and the Violet/Black with the matching  HOUNDS TOOTH CHECK SKIRTS…………………it’s VERY DESIGNER and VERY CHIC! Black opaque tights and a suede pump, shoe booties or boot is all you need. For the more daring amongst you….a lace or pinstripe tight can work too……if it’s the right pattern….the mix can be superb. I also love this sweater with my pleated skirts, leggings, black jeans and later in the spring……..ivory pants…….actually, you can wear white denim heavy gauge cotton jeans and black boots right now for the Holidays…………………….What a wonderful present this sweater would make and there is nothing wrong with giving yourself a present too!……………………..Enjoy…………………..much LOVE……………………Louis
