………………………..This is my “work sketch” which the pattern makers work from. All measurements are for the first sample before the first fittings…..then the true work begins!

    Good afternoon Louis,
I saw your beautiful gauze crepe tunic with asymmetric hem today (a287611) and fell in love. It may be too late to request this because I know that you work many seasons ahead but I think that it would make a fabulous Christmas top in red or hunter. What do you think?

Dear Robin…I think the top would look gear in both colors, but it would have to be reordered first, and I think that’s doubtful

Hello Louis, I just wanted to tell you how much I like this tunic. I’m so glad you changed the neckline because I am tired of seeing my bra straps. When your heavier on the bottom and smaller on top the top never fits right and you have the off shoulder look and the straps are always showing. I wish you would have made in white but maybe next time meanwhile I will get the other colors and I think I will try a pair of the pants this time . I’m so excited about your new season and so glad your back.

Wow. This tunic and pant are so chic and elegant! Is the weight of this crepe gauze the same as A273867? And, I’m also wondering if the seaming is the same? Thanks.

A276293 is the same Gauze Crepe fabric as this tunic…the top you referee to is simply gauze, and is a different fabric. They both have horizontal seams but I don’t know off hand if they hit at the same place. The new tunic has body seams to give a shape while the other tunic is straighter.

The weight of A276293 is perfect for summer…I own those tunics in all colors. I was a bit concerned about the horizontal seam, but I’m relieved to hear this new tunic has body seams for shape. That will make all the difference. Thanks, Louis!

I love these pieces! Thank you for 3/4 sleeves. Does the tunic come in black to go with the pants?

    1. louis dell'olio

No, it was a black or navy top, but since we didn’t do pants in the Aquamarine or Parfait pink we could add black. I will have another Crepe Gauze shirt/jacket tunic in Black in March too……..However with QVC I never know which show they will put things on or if they decides to make it a separate “hit” on another show like the Morning Q or Inspired style. Personally I would prefer to have them on my own show, but it’s not my choice. I guess doing these other shows is more exposure, but after 17 years how much new exposure do I need !!!???? LOL

Louis, the new and younger Linea Ladies of the future will be fortunate to discover you. Let it happen! The world needs beauty. Always.
