COLORS, COLORS, COLORS

Yes, it’s that time again! I received my first list of reorders for Jan., Feb. and March. If you have any color suggestions [SPRING COLORS] I would love to hear them. Usually they add one or two new colors for each style……sometimes I can push for three if I eliminate a repeat color. Here is the list:

1-A287608, the Whisper Knit long cardigan, black is coming back, and they want two new colors. I’m thinking navy and perfectly pink

2-A287609, the Whisper Knit coordinating tunic tank, black is coming back and I’m thinking navy and perfectly pink to coordinate back to the cardigan

3-A287617, the Crepe Gauze stand collar button front tunic, pale pink and black are coming back. we will add ย 2 to 3 new colors

4-A268216, the Super Ponte boot cut pant, black will be coming back, and I need to add two new. I was thinking to bring back navy and maybe add alabaster or some light tan/khaki color? or not bring back navy and add 2 new??

6-A225482, the cotton classic Tee shirt. They want to bring back the white [for sure], the black, navy and pink, and add one new, but I’m thinking of dropping the pink and maybe the navy and adding 2 to 3 ย new…..thoughts???

7-A262070, YES! the Linea Leisure pull-on pant is finally coming back, petites too. I want to bring back black and white. What other colors would you like?

8-A214117, the Crinkle georgette safari shirt. This summer staple continues to do amazingly well. They are asking for more colors. It will probably come back in April too. I’m thinking to bring back white and black and the rest new. Colors please!

9-A70208, the Boho skirt, I’ll being back black, but all the rest will be new. I read somewhere that someone thought Boho skirts were out of date. I can only assume this person never opens a fashion magazine! They only happen to be the hottest skirt out there. Gucci, who is considered the hottest line, has zillions of them……they aren’t going anywhere soon!

That’s it for now folks………………thanks, Louis

  2. Judy

Both the ponte and LL pants in olive please!!!!!!! Thank you

  3. Anonymous

The only items that I have strong feelings about are LL pull on pant, which I would love to have in chocolate brown or taupe, and the short sleeve tee, which I would like to have in taupe or a medium cool gray. Thanks for asking, Louis. Love everything you do.

Really loving the Pantone Autumn Palette. How about some of these lovely colors?

    PANTONE 17-1558 Grenadine
A powerful, evocative, dynamic red, Grenadine is a confident and self-assured attention-getter.
    PANTONE 19-1725 Tawny Port
Taking the Red family to new depths, Tawny Port is elegant, sophisticated, and tasteful.
    PANTONE 13-2808 Ballet Slipper
Descended from the Red family but with a softer touch, Ballet Slipper is always flattering and reminiscent of the rosy glow of health.
    PANTONE 16-1341 Butterum
This snug, warming, and toasty shade is evocative of drinking a glass of Butterrum by a roaring fire on a cool autumn evening.
    PANTONE 19-4029 Navy Peony
A mainstay for the season for both palettes, Navy Peony is a dependable and an anchoring shade. Solid and stable, the hue takes some of the load off of black as a go-to neutral.
    PANTONE 17-4402 Neutral Gray
The standard bearer of all neutrals, Neutral Gray shares the anchoring role with Navy Peony in this palette. It can be used as an accent or a head-to-toe statement shade.
    PANTONE 19-4524 Shaded Spruce
This is a green you might see in the forest โ€“ sheltering and protective as evergreen trees.
    PANTONE 16-0543 Golden Lime
Earthy tones with a twist, the golden undertones of Golden Lime makes this yellow-green shade a refreshing complement to fall classics.
    PANTONE 17-4041 Marina
Cool with an enhanced vitality, Marina is the only truly cool color in the fall palette that brings with it freshness and brightness.
    PANTONE 17-1145 Autumn Maple
A quintessential autumn color, Autumn Maple is tawny and russet, introducing warmth into the palette.

Sharon….you know these are for SPRING reorders. The colors sound very pretty but very fall.

      1. Sharon Martin

Opps! I thought it was for sweaters. The Whisper Knit long cardigan and matching tunic tank would be divine in Neutral Grey. The Crepe Gauze stand collar button front tunic would be terrific in Marina or a Grenadine. Sorry for my confusion.

  5. Hudson Valley Nancy

    Louis,

A287608 long cardigan would like navy and would love perfectly pink, but a light silver gray and a mauve or plum would be sooo pretty. Ditto for the tanks.

A287617 Tunic, I vote cornflower blue and a light cocoa brown

A268216 Super Ponte pant would love alabaster and light silvery gray

LL Pant – every color cause I missed them the first time around. But surprise surprise, light silvery gray please!

Crinkle Gauze Blouse -Surprise again, light silvery gray and light cocoa brown!

Special Requests for some of those wider belts Jac and your models wear, especially in Python prints to go with all those beautiful neutrals! ๐Ÿ™‚

Almost forgot to thank you for an outstanding collection this year!

  6. Caroline

Hi Louis. I generally would like to see some of those items offered in colors you have already done on others items. Some of my most desired colors at the moment for any season are: Dark Chocolate, Fuchsia/Wine/Raspberry, Stone, Charcoal Grey, Aqua/Aqua Mist/Aquamarine.

  7. By the C

JEWELRY REQUESTS PULEEZ–definitely sea glass in silver but please more jewelry in general in silver. TY sooooo much yet AGAIN!

      2. WNYGAL/APRIL

TY means “Thank you”. Time for a tutorial in text speak, lol. May I loan you a Millennial? I have plenty to spare.

        1. louis dell'olio

Thanks, but no thanks….3 Scotties is enough to deal with

  8. Andrea

The LL pants in Navy and olive (not a brown olive, more green)and navy. I actually wore out a pair of black ones but had bought a second pair. I have never worn out a pair of pants in my life.

Safari Shirt — A Wine or Fuchsia, as some others have suggested, would be lovely.

  12. luvitorleaveit

I thought the ponte knit pants a268216 was coming back in winter wHite, wine and another color like blackberry if I remember the colors were posted at the beginning of the year so I ordered winter white and wine but received a letter that they would not be available until August.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

That’s correct…..they will be avail in August.

      1. luvitorleaveit

Wonderful! I would love to see the jewel tones for fall and winter like the imperial violet color that was done in a259620, malachite, purple.

        1. louis dell'olio

          in pants????

          1. luvitorleaveit

I was thinking more about the whisper knit sweaters but pants would be an idea or do you think that’s too retro?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

No….they do them in Europe all the time, but since the gauze pant sold in black and white, and not royal blue, it’s unlikely I do “color” pants any time soon.

  13. Bebe

    Louis,

    3. Crepe Gauze Tunic – White, Merlot or Burgundy – and Aqua – the same color Aqua as that beautiful Jacket you did a couple seasons ago that had gold buttons and also came in Red, Navy and Ivory. You also did some knit sleeveless tops and a floral skirt that had the same color of Aqua in it. That is my favorite Aqua you have done.

    8. Safari Shirt – Merlot or Burgundy and Fuschia

All the rest, I will take any colors you decide but love Navy, Perfectly Pink, Alabaster, Wine/Burgundy/Merlot and vibrant royal blue. Thanks.

  14. Ruth

A-287608 WK Long Cardi – Navy would be good; A gray would be wonderful- pearl gray, silver gray, pewter gray, charcoal; I’d also like something beige like Tipi Hedren or Grace Kelly wore in an Alfred Hitchcock movie – beige or taupe with a rosy undertone rather than yellowish; I’d also buy espresso like your ponte straight leg pants.
A287608 WK long tunic tank – colors to match long cardi
A287617 Crepe Gauze Stand Collar Button Front tunic – I bought this in every color & am sure I’d buy more. My dream colors would be deep teal and some berry or wine tone.
A268216 Bootcut ponte pants – sorry but these don’t look good on me. Please try for more colors in the ponte straight leg pants. I’d buy those in charcoal and navy.
In general, I like fabrics with some stretch like the moss crepe and the Crepe Gauze.
Thank you for caring about your ladies.
    Best regards, Ruth

  15. Judy

Please bright pink for the new whisper knit set. I agree with Jac, that bright pink she picked out for the georgette shirt is lovely! We have plenty other options in the perfectly pink. The brighter pink will be more suitable for winter. The perfectly pink washes some of us out!

Please consider deep olive and khaki for the new colors in the ponte knit pants.

Thank you for considering our choices.

  16. Shari

    Louis,

I have ALL of your crinkle shirts and boho skirts. The one color I would LOVE to have us a pure fresh Aqua. Not a deep aqua, not a Tiffany box aqua, but kind of a faded robins egg aqua.
Just that freshiest of fresh spring time aqua.

  17. Deborah Perry

A262270 in your Chino, please. My favorite color in spring, summer and early fall pants. I wore your cotton Chino pants to death. I still have the gorgeous matching jacket.

I would love the safari shirt in your Chino color as well. Imagine that with white jeans. Sharp! Or black or dark denim. Or olive pants. I have this set in multiple neutral colors and even a couple of sizes. I find it indispensable for travel.

Speaking of which, is there any chance of getting the last pair of Linea jeans back in, the ones that came in yellow? I wish I bought the denim and whites in multiples!

Thank you, Louis. You’re the best!

    1. louis dell'olio

Deborah….I need the style # of the khaki jacket and pant….I probably don’t have it anymore!

  18. Grace

7-A262070, YES! the Linea Leisure pull-on pant is finally coming back, petites too. I want to bring back black and white.

    9. Boho- ny jewel tones (purple, emerald), olive, raspberry

  21. Linda

I love love love whisper knits! I’d love to see items #1 & #2 in Periwinkle, Perfectly Pink & a Blue/Green

  22. Judi

Thank you so much for asking for our input!

1-A287608, the Whisper Knit long cardigan- I’d love to see navy and dove (light) gray.

2-A287609, the Whisper Knit coordinating tunic tank—Also navy and dove gray.

3-A287617, the Crepe Gauze stand collar button front tunic- A favorite! I would like a light blue (chalky). Not a baby blue…I’m thinking sophisticated. One of the colors of the beach glass necklace. Navy would also be excellent.

4-A268216, the Super Ponte boot cut pant-No suggestions, because I can’t wear the length.

6-A225482, the cotton classic Tee shirt- alabaster, turquoise, and yes, navy!

7-A262070, the Linea Leisure pull-on pant-aubergine (or any wine color), espresso brown, camel.

8-A214117, the Crinkle georgette safari shirt- I own so many it’s hard to think of new! I prefer the more subdued colors… aubergine, dove gray, a medium turquoise?

9-A70208, the Boho skirt- also, aubergine, dove gray, a denim shade (light).

  23. Casey (aka KcFoxy)

Thanks very much for the input invitation. I will speak to the specifics then add a few more wish list items.

A287608 โ€“ WK Long Cardigan โ€“ would love Navy, Taupe (as in the stellar A267864-this color is most limited of all, and truly useful neutral) IMHO), and Pale Lavender.
A287609 โ€“ WK Tunic Tank โ€“ LDO Navy, Medium Gray and Pale Lavender.
A287617 โ€“ Crepe Gauze stand collar Tunic โ€“ Pale Yellow, Peach. Pale Lavender and Deep Turquoise or Royal Blue.
A268216 โ€“ Super Ponte Boot Cut Pant โ€“ Taupe (as in A267864), Medium Gray & keep LDO Navy.
A225482 โ€“ Cotton classic Tee โ€“ Alabaster, Pale Lavender or Periwinkle, Deep Turquoise and Mauve.
A262070 โ€“ LL PANT โ€“ Medium Gray, Dark Brown.
A214117 โ€“ Crinkle Georgette Safari Shirt โ€“ Deep Olive, Eggplant, Deep Marigold and a Deep Turquoise.
A70208 โ€“ Boho Skirt โ€“ Deep Olive, Eggplant,Deep Turquoise and new prints! Would love to see something with a cool retro/70’s/Pucci (sp) type print.

Dreams: more items in Royal/Regal Purple, periwinkle, Blackberry, Wine, and Pine (not Evergreen with a yellowish cast), Claret…

Moss Crepe, lots and lots of Moss Crepe. A soft tie front jacket or sweater we can toss over tank tops or sleeveless maxi dresses. Ahem, more maxi dresses and boot length skirts. With legs like tree trunks, can’t do knee length or even shorter midis I’m afraid. Plus boot length usually works well for many petite gals as well as the taller among us. Thanks again.

    1. Seka

I am also voting for a Pucci print for the Boho Skirt and a matching Safari Shirt (with long sleeves)!

  24. Katie

Louis, I am so upset. I ordered the black seed bead and now the beach glass necklace. I ordered both the day they came out. They kept saying in process for so long but then said back ordered. After 2 days they said canceled. It was not due to insufficient funds or anything on my part. They told me on the beach glass one they will give me a $50 credit due to their mistake but I bought numerous clothing just to go with each of them. I told them I did not want $150 credit but want my items. This is very poor customer service and if it wasn’t for your clothing I would never buy anything else from them. Very sad in Virginia.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Katie, I wish I could help, but I can’t tell them what to buy or who to ship to. It’s a loss on all accounts. Sorry for your disappointment.

  25. 2E/Suellen

You’re always so thoughtful to ask for suggestions — thank you! Add my vote for Long WK Cardigan and matching Long Tank in Perfectly Pink and your fabulous Linea Turquoise!

  26. By the C

Any chance of talls in pants please?

    1. By the C

Even wishing for a longer boho skirt!

    2. louis dell'olio

By the C….I know….you know….it’s not my decision.

      1. By the C

XO love you! A girl has gotta keep tryin!

  27. Kim

#1 and #2 navy and perfectly pink!!!!!! yes and yes please

  28. TrishM

My favorite color in your line, ever, is the light blue whisper knit turtleneck. I can’t remember if it was called sky blue? It’s just the prettiest shade of blue and I haven’t found anything equalling it….so, anything in that color.

    1. Sue

A268216, the Super Ponte boot cut pant – Dark Olive, Merlot (although I thought you recently mentioned bringing in a Raspberry and Merlot pant). Generally I find darker bottoms more figure flattering and I already have the Ponte pant (petites I think?) in Black, Navy and Walnut. Also, PLEASE encourage QVC to bring this in in Petite!!

      1. louis dell'olio

Sue….I am doing all of the wines and blackberry colors for fall

  29. MadameDuFiffers

    Hi Louis,

Thank you for the opportunity to give input!

I like the darker shades for spring/summer because I like a contrast with white and light chambray bottoms (not to mention that I like a contrast with my grey hair – light/pale colors wash me out and it’s hard to find darker colors in these seasons). I can’t wear sage, for example, so why can’t I find dark olive (yours is gorgeous – would love to see it in PC)?

The fuschia color for this item A262032 was gorgeous – a brighter, lighter shade. Again, would love to see it in PC.

Your hibiscus and turq shades are beautiful. And even tho (IIRC) it had a subtle gold background (for lack of a better word), your chili pepper was beautiful, too, and I think you did do this color in PC.

I’d love to see a true coral, but try to define it! (For me, it would be more pink than orange). A deeper, saturated coral.

I prefer shades with black or white “backgrounds” (I don’t know the proper word for what I’m trying to say; hopefully, you get it lol) for spring/summer vs. yellow, orange, gold, beige, ivory backgrounds.

Those were my initial thoughts; I know there are lots of opinions.

Thanks again and hope you have a…thoughtful Memorial Day.

    Madame

    1. MadameDuFiffers

Just to clarify, I was referring to colors for tops only. I only wear black, white, or shades of denim on bottom).
      Madame

      1. MadameDuFiffers

Maybe “undertone” is what I mean, instead of “background!”

  30. Seka

Thank you for asking for our input, Louis!

A287608 – WK Long Cardigan – would love a true Camel colour and a Medium Gray (I like wearing these two colours together) and Pale Lavender.
A287609 – WK Tunic Tank – a true Camel, Medium Gray and Pale Lavender.
A287617 – Crepe Gauze stand collar Tunic – Burnt Orange, Alabaster (love all things Alabaster), Chartreuse, Deep Olive, Pale Lavender and Deep Turquoise.
A268216 – Super Ponte Boot Cut Pant – Alabaster and Medium Gray.
A225482 – Cotton classic Tee – Alabaster, Pale Lavender, Chartreuse, Deep Turquoise and an Orange/Red.
A262070 – LL PANT – Medium Gray, true Camel.
A214117 – Crinkle Georgette Safari Shirt – Deep Olive, Eggplant, Deep Marigold and a Deep Turquoise.
A70208 – Boho Skirt – Deep Olive, Eggplant, Deep Marigold and a Deep Turquoise.

    1. Maia

      Yes! #1 & 2 in camel!

  31. Jackie

Thank you Louis, for asking your customers what they like. How unique is that?
A 287617-pebble crepe button down. Since I have every muted pastel, I would like new items to have more color saturation but still soft.
    1. Anything raspberry or pink blue tone but not rose.
    2. Coral or soft orange with some brown tones – earthy
    3. Chalky blue or Denim but no grey tones
    4. Fern or greens as the color of some hostas.

  32. Katie

Louis, I bought every color crepe gauze button front, and the crepe gauze with chiffon trim sleeveless tops. I would love to have the match in the button front for all the sleeveless ones. I love the pink in each and wear it often and everyone loves it. I would love to have the button front in navy, linen, sea mist, as well as matches to the new colors that you just added. I don’t wear sleeveless and this is such a beautiful set together. Thank you for letting us have input.

    1. Jackie

Excellent idea to ask for a few more matching chiffon bottom shells. Both make a lovely outfit.

  33. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, thank you for the wonderful news that the Linea Leisure pants are up for reorder. They are a year-round staple for my Florida wardrobe. I have 3 pair in every color. I can wear them casual dining on an outdoor deck or wear them to a board meeting at work. Just a matter of accessorizing and what top I choose. So, I’ll start with those first…

A262070 Linea Leisure pants – dark chocolate (love with white cotton shirts in summer), camel, adobe, and blackberry (to go with my ENR WK swing sweater). As a note to the Q-buyer, I buy these pants in both lengths – as I bet a lot of others do.

A287609 WK Tank Tunic – navy for sure! All spring I kept wishing it was in that color for my white jeans.

A287617 Crepe Gauze Stand-Collar Tunic – I like the pear green someone else has mentioned. And, chalk blue and terracotta.

A268216 Super Ponte pants – not going to suggest a color here because I still have 2 pair waiting to be hemmed up 3″. I’d have suggestions if this came in petite. And, I’m 5’8″. Just maybe put in a plea to the buyer for petites on this essential, hmm? I know it’s them not you. So glad you go to bat for us.

A225482 Tee Shirt – My, how I love this one! Again (like the LL pants) I now own 3 each of the neutrals. Bought only one pink. Add my vote to dropping the pink and going with 2-3 new colors. I like the suggestion other made to bring in some of the menswear colors like the Kate shirt – the pale blue and pale yellow. ANY fiesta color you would consider returning. I have your WK tanks in that fiesta collection you offered a few years back. They are getting a bit worn for the office. Please, consider the tee in any of these: geranium pink, turquoise, lime, chili pepper.

  34. queendiva

Louis- you had me at Linea Leisure petite and Super ponte!!

#1 & #2- Navy, one of your soft neutral greens.
#3- White, bright sky blue, Carribbean blue, chambray,Rhodedendron pink and purple,(just looked out my window!) Love my aqua!
#4- Pearl gray, soft neutral green, olive
#6- Green to match #1,2 & 4, dusty aqua and anything from your Crayola box that’s different!
#7- Green to match all the above, white, taupe

I think I have every item you have ever made in olive and similar colors. Have not seen it in quite a while, especially in knits, which are always my preference. A beautiful Spring neutral. Would love my Spring, 2018 wardrobe to be all Linea knit items in a soft olive as well as the Super ponte pants and crepe gauze shirt! Thank you, Louis!!

  35. Celia

    Hi Louis,
#1 and 2 long cardi and tunic in Royal Blue! (and navy)

#4-A268216, the Super Ponte boot cut pant, Khaki PLEASE and somebody said Aubergine, which I would love to go with all my Navy tops.

6-A225482, the cotton classic Tee shirt, royal blue
8-A214117, the Crinkle georgette safari shirt. OLIVE or something close to the original Sage color, Royal.
    Boho- Royal

    Thanks Louis!
    Best to you,
    Celia

  36. Chris S.

I’m going to chime in again and agree with Anonymous that I would like some pink cardigans other than perfectly pink. I have a few and it isn’t even my best pink shade. Maybe one of the richer blue based pinks would be a nice change.

  37. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

I have arrived fashionably late to the party and just recently started buying you fantastic clothing. I was a young adult in the mid 80’s and followed your design style all along but didn’t realize it until now (looking thru your archives and the archives of Anne Klein). They way you dress us is how I have always dressed. I’m glad I found you!!!

My suggestions for the boho and georgette shirt…

    Boysenberry
    Jolly green
Steel grey -gunmetal – shark. ( I know you did a color similar but I would love this color. It looks spectacular with the black sleeveless shirt you had posted a few years ago)
    Rich coral
    Ink – dark blueberry
    Rust
    Apricot – mandarin orange
    Caramel
    Olive
    Cherry pop

I hope that helps. Thank you for your brilliance!!! God Bless.

Navy in the long cardigan and tunic would be good, but I would prefer one of the newer pinks you have used. I personally have enough perfectly pink tops and cardigan.

The navy ponte boot cut pants in navy I would purchase even though this pant is 3″ too long for me. I did purchase this one in grey and had it altered. I wish this pant was offered in a 29″ inseam. Aubergine or raspberry would be great too.

The crepe gauze button front tunic in navy to match the navy crepe gauze tunic with the chiffon trim would be great and in the new lilac color of the crepe gauze would be pretty for spring and summer.

The only color of the tee I bought was parfait pink and it is a pretty pink. I would like a second one in that color. I need another color that will work with the zip front hoodie A273297 in the raspberry with navy. I keep hoping for a navy and raspberry stripe top. I am not really a tee shirt wearer. I loved those sleeveless stripe ponte knit tops you did several years ago.

I would like scarlet red in the crinkle georgette safari shirt. The original boho skirt is a little too long and too full to work for me. I did purchase the new pleated pull on skirt in navy this season and that is a great length for me. Thanks for it.

I also purchased the faux de chine button front top in navy. I wish there was a navy and ivory print done in these two pieces that I could mix and match with the solids or these pieces done in red and ivory print would work too.

Thanks for the opportunity to cast our votes.

#1 and #2 absolutely dark navy and perfectly pink!!

#3 red? butter yellow, lemon yellow?, periwinkle blue, lilac

I’m skipping 4 (I’m fixated on the slim leg crepe pant which I’m checking for daily waiting on the new colors) and you skipped #5 so on to:

#6 a soft butter yellow? A soft spruce green ?

    # 7 pale khaki!, And if they ever bring back the linea leisure longer pencil skirt, optic white for sure! Dying for a long comfy stretchy pencil skirt minus the back or side slit,in non-see-through white. The stand collar crepe button front jacket BEGS for it! As do the peplums from this season.

#8 yes that white is a useful piece to have. What about orchid? Or a true fuchia leaning pink?

#9 get out that old crayola box for this one. I have so many bohos now but I love it when a georgette safari shirt in the matching color comes out same time. What about the aqua mist as a set?? (Love!) And then orchid or leaning pink fuchsia.

Thanks for letting us dream here!!!

Thank TPTB for the LLpants coming back, My vote is for a dk chocolate and kakhi(tan). Now my reasoning for a dk chocolate tee is, There are no dk chocolate tees in all QVC, (I don’t count SG). the other color for the tee is alabaster. LOVE the fact that we can ask, now may I also ask for less spandex in the tees. Thank you so very much.

I promise this is my last word! I thought of something else. I was packing for a two week trip to Mexico and one of the first pieces I pulled out was the georgette safari set. It will be nearly 100 degrees there! I own many a lovely boho and wear them constantly in the spring, fall and winter. But when it comes to pulling out a coordinating skirt for places like Italy, Greece, and Mexico in the summer I reach for A215166, the shorter back boho. As memory serves me this skirt flew out in black, but did not do as well in bright yellow and sea foam. I am begging you to bring this back (or something like this with less fabric) in dark/neutral colors. Navy & black would be great since this is a summer traveler!
    Ok done this time! ๐Ÿ˜‰
    Susan

    1. Celia

I agree with Susan! I love my shorter boho and navy is a great color.

  42. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

Oops I forgot to agree with adobe for the ponte pant.

  43. Susan (aka Carlytwila)

Louis – Thank you for asking!
Long cardi set: navy and pp sound lovely
Crepe gauze tunic: white, aqua, navy
    Ponte pant: alabaster, blackberry
Cotton T: drop pink & navy and add Kate shirt light blue, taupe or alabaster
    Cotton pull on pant: taupe
    Georgette: blackberry, olive

    Desr Louis,

#1&2- yes navy, perfectly pink but I would love a bright cobalt like the lovely gauze.
#3- cobalt blue, hibiscus, robins egg blue, anything that pops!
#4- yes to all your colors but I would like that adobe as well. I never thought I could wear that color & it is so flattering.
#6- I live in the south & when I am not wearing one of the WK shells or gauze tunic, I have 6 of your t-shirts. I would love the mint to match the TSV snap & bright colors, aqua, bright coral, cobalt blue, bright raspberry. The basics must stay but there is a huge group of ladies who are begging for quality solid t-shirts in bright colors. I love the classic style of this shirt & the sleeve is perfect. I would love this design & material in a v neck too.
#8-I love the sea blue & would love to see mint & bright colors.
#9- Bright colors, tie dye or a colorful swirl design.
I keep stalking to see if they post your big deal early, love those colors! Thank you for all your beautiful designs!

Yes please to the long cardigan and tunic in navy.

The navy ponte boot cut pants in navy are a must have. I’m treating my only pair very carefully and would love another as a back-up.

I would love the crepe gauze button front tunic in navy to match the navy crepe gauze tunic with the chiffon trim. I have both pieces in black and pink and love wearing them together as sets. I was just wishing yesterday that I had the button front tunic in navy to match the chiffon trimmed tunic. You are a mind reader!!!!

I’m glad to hear about the black and white leisure pants. Navy (Did I just say navy again?) is another wonderful basic.

I really do wear other colors besides navy, but these pieces are all such classic staples.

A262070 — Leisure Regular inseam pants & A262072 Leisure Petite inseam pants — definitely want a dark brown, olive & want burgundy or the aubergine color you had in WK sweater at one time. Thanks for asking us.

Will the V Neck WK sweater be redesigned and come back? I think we could do with a bracelet length version of that popular style!

    1. louis dell'olio

The l/s v neck WK is coming back this fall in heather collars. I sketched a 3/4 sleeve version for fiesta colors but it wasn’t chosen this go around.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

That neckline is one of the most flattering around.

    2. Yvette

I’d like to ditto all three of Chris’s color choices for the Leisure pants. I could use all of those colors!

  47. Pam

    Louis,

You are a treasure! I have the crepe gauze tunic in aqua and linen and would love to have it in a light coral.

    Ciao!

  48. Mary

I love the color navy in the pants and the cardigan. Thta cardigan is the best. A nice khaki would be great in the tee shirt too.

  49. WNYGAL/APRIL

This is why your customers are so loyal. Who else would do this? So, IMHO:

3- Crepe Gauze Tunic – pear green, lilac, soft violet, chalk blue, terra cotta

4- Super Ponte Pants – OLIVE (yes, I’m shouting, so sorry), true camel, or a very similar
khaki,& please bring back the navy (it’s the only color I don’t yet own).

    You’re a mensch.

  50. Melissa

    4) I wish you’d bring the taupe back. Great basic color that I missed out on. Too bad browns don’t sell well, a dark chocolate or espresso would be great too. I prefer darker pants.

    8) Blackberry (or plum, eggplant).
A purple like you did in the WK swing sweater – imperial violet?
    Raspberry.
A dark green like a forest green or evergreen.
    Green based teal.
    Olive green.
    Coral.
    Cinnamon.

  51. Beth

I would love to see the long WK cardigan and matching tunic tank offered in your very lovely walnut, blackberry or raspberry would be beautiful also. I just love those shades for winter. I love your idea of perfectly pink and navy, those are two of my favorite Linea colors!

I would love to have your boho skirt in Linea navy but I think you might have offered that color in the past, I cannot remember.

Thanks so much for all you do!

  52. Laura

Linea Navy is always a good idea, in my opinion. I love corals and plums. Part of the fun for me is seeing what new colors you will come up with. My closet is looking so lovely this spring with all of the colors I have tried recently. This list of reorders makes me look quite forward to next year.

  53. LeefromMinnesota

    Hello Louis,
Would love the WK pieces in navy — own the black sweater set & love it. LL pant returns, hooray! Please consider the pant in a deep Bordeaux or a rich very dark brown. I will definitely order more black pairs, I wear them at least 2-3 times a week & I used to be concerned that I would wear them out, very happy they are returning. Thank you for asking and be well!

    1. louis dell'olio

Lee brown concerns me. I’ve been asked to do the ponte pants in brown but they don’t sell. Even the straight leg ponte pant is sold out in black, but the dk chocolate which is a beautiful brown, is avail in all sizes in petite and reg.

    1& 2) Navy

    1. Maia

The list starting with “What a treasure trove” is from me, Maia!

  55. Debbie M.

    Louis,

Items #1 and 2: I agree with your suggestion.

    3. pale yellow or a coral

    4. Super ponte pant wine, or a cold to match the coral ombre tunic

    6. tee shirt. One to match the mint snap front tunic/jacket that was the big deal. raspberry, grass green

    8. safari shirt: and boho: raspberry, coral that matches the color in the coral/tan tie die cardigan, cinnamon, the green that came in the butterfly cardigan with the matching tank.

    1. Qulia/Julia

I second Debbie M’s list wholeheartedly!

      Julia
