“THE DESERT SAND & DARK SAND CREPE GAUZE”

copper3

…………………………THREE NEW PIECES IN CREPE GAUZE!…………..The OPEN FRONT CARDIGAN, A293748………..The TANK TUNIC, A293753……………..and the PULL-ON PANT, which is being offered in Reg. length, A293755, and petite length, A293756……………..I can’t think of a better fabric to take you from SUMMER right into FALL…………..The Open Front Cardigan is made beautifully…………..The front is piped for a clean “Designer” finish. The silhouette is a gentle SWING, which gives the fabric a fluidity and flow. There are generous side slits that enable you to use the pant pockets with ease. The cardigan is also UNLINED, and beautifully finished on the inside, which also enables the cardigan to move as you walk. It has an asymmetrical hemline, not extreme, but keeps the eye moving vertical instead of horizontal……an elongating effect………….The Tank also is made beautifully. The neckline and armhole have a delicate narrow piping. There are also generous side slits in the tunic…….It is approx 27 inches long for the xxs. The fit is easy similar to the tank with the georgette border…….so whatever size you chose for that would definitely work for this………………..The Cardigan and Tunic Tank are both in…………………DESERT SAND……………….The Pull-on UNLINED pant in the Crepe Gauze is in the………..DARK SAND…….I chose these NEUTRAL colors to give you a tonal look. It also gives you a column of color without being matched……The pant has a classic silhouette…..not wide….not narrow…..a width that should work for most……It has an approx 8 inch bottom opening for the xs……………The top has a full elastic with a flat front so there isn’t any unneeded shirring over the tummy. The trouser pocket gives the languid look of a beautifully draped pant………………The LOOK is pure “Designer”……with the joy of maximum COMFORT!………………For accessories I have chosen my new ETRUSCAN pieces……all in RUSSIAN GOLD…….Russian Gold is NOT a SHINEY 12 carat gold look!!!!! It has the look of 24 carat, and it looks like gold from ancient times……..very ethnic………The 72 inch necklace has a 3 inch extender so you can double, triple and quadruple the necklace for many different looks. The bead itself was inspired from ancient cultures, and you can find similar beads at the gift shop at the Metropolitan  Museum of Art in NYC……however they will not be this length and the WILL BE five times the price. As a bonus the bead and drop earring is sold WITH the necklace. For some it may be too long, but it is easily shortened to what ever length you desire. As part of the group there is also a four row stretch bracelet, but it is a very loose fit so it should drape onto the hand……………You would never know it’s a stretch bracelet!……………….The second NEW FISH being offered is the RUSSIAN GOLD pendant…….One eye is a pale Amethyst [as shown], and the reverse side has a tonal eye, so you can wear it with anything…………….For those of you who are looking for something a little more unique, I am sure you will love these pieces in the Russian Gold………………..all of this will be on my Aug. QVC2 jewelry show………………………..enjoy…………………..much Love………………….Louis

I love your crepe gauze, please bring more, more, more. I’m on a waitlist for several pieces, are there more to be arriving soon

  2. Chris/Jazzmom

My crepe gauze pants arrived & I think the dark sand works well with the dark chocolate sleeveless top with georgette edge. The ivy looks great of course with the ombré celadon top. We need more colors like white/ivory/alabaster & dark chocolate & navy.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris. I’m happy to hear this pant worked out for you. If it should get reordered all of the dark colors you mentioned are a good possibility, however since this was not priced as a lined pant I won’t be able to do any colors that may be even the slightest see though

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

I really like the fabric and how it feels. The narrow leg bottom is another plus for me as well.

So do I! My pant in Ivy arrived today. This is now the second occasion that I can “crow” about Linea pants. Loving this pant even more than my gauze pant in Royal Blue that I received in the Spring. This is a whole new sphere of Linea World for me.

What an elegant and comfortable fabric. Aching to more colors.

Dear Goldie….I’m happy you like your Crepe gauze pant! Please leave your reviews….it’s important.

            1. Goldie76

Will do! I feel as though I became a member of an exclusive club. Me, wild over a pant. Never thought I’d see the day.

I caught the end of your beautiful crepe gauze items on QVC yesterday but was told too late to order. I am extremely interested in the Sand shell and cardigan. Will I have a chance to order these 2 items and if so, please advise how and when. Thanks.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Fay…….since the shell is sold out, you will have to keep checking if one in your size shows up. I will have another alternative if it interests you. I will have a sleeveless turtleneck in Whisper Knit on my7/24 QVC2 show. It;s the “Big Deal”, and will be avail in the desert sand, black, ivory, blue and Celadon…..so you could wear this in placement of the shell in case one doesn’t become avail.

        Great News!
Just a question – you posted the date as 7/24 – on your schedule you have August 24 – or is it July 27?

          1. Seka

So exciting! Want the Desert Sand and (of course) the Black!

  4. Chris/Jazzmom

While putting away the black crepe gauze pants that I wore on a recent trip to Boston, I saw the truffle asymmetric top on the hanger and wondered if the dark sand pants will work with that top color?

You can answer me when you return home. No hurries, no worries! 😊

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris…..The Truffle has more pink in it than the Dark Sand, so I’m going to say no. I am sure there are some that would have no problem wearing them together, but since they are different families of color I hesitate.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

        Thank you.

  5. Judi

Thank you so much for the fabulous crepe gauze items!! You may find this funny, I bought the 1st crepe gauze items which were tops in yellow, white and aqua. The fabric looked so expensive I wore them sparingly and planned to dry clean them. I washed one by mistake and it came out looking brand new! From then on I’ve been wearing this fabric all the time.
I have a question. I have the stand collar top/shirt in the linen shade. I’d like to wear it with the dark sand pants. What color top would you suggest wearing underneath if I choose to wear the stand collar shirt open?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Judi……First……the tunics you have in the yellow, white and aqua is the GAUZE fabric which is different from your Linen shirt, which is the CREPE GAUZE…..if you compare them you will see they are very different. I’m on my way to PA, so I will have to look at the linen and the dark sand when I get home.

      1. Judi

Yes, I see my mistake. The gauze is a bit heavier than the crepe gauze. They are both beautiful fabrics however.
No rush, I’ll be watching tomorrow. Have great shows!

      2. Judi

I’m totally confused! Q has A273867, Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Crepe Gauze Tunic (the yellow, white and blue)listed as crepe gauze, yet the fabric on the stand collar, slacks and wide gaucho style pants is somewhat thinner. Makes no difference to me, I love them all!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

They are confused. I told them to correct it, but that’s never going to happen. Just listen to me. I know what they don’t!

  6. Jackie

I have been wearing my crepe gauze pieces and I love, love, love the fabric. Easy. Looks good after wearing for 12 hours. Wash, dry, and hang. I am ALL IN for these new pieces. Keep ’em coming! As a result of the crepe gauze, my closet has seen some “out with the bad fabric” and in with the crepe gauze. Thank you Louis for the sneak peeks.

  7. Joanne

    Hi Louis
Lovely outfits. Will the Russian gold and patina green pieces be on your August 25 jewelry show? Like Maia, I am also interested in the inseam of the pants both petite and regular.
    Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes the jewelry will be on my Aug 25th show…..the inseam of the reg is 32 inches…..I do not know the petite inseam.

  8. Maia

Louis, what is the inseam of the regular length pant?

  9. Beryl

    Coming home to me. Fabulous.z9vs

  10. Kate

Remind us again–which other pieces have you done in this fabric? Is it the new chemise dress?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No…not the chemise dress….that’s GAUZE….However last years dress in Pale Pink, Black and alabaster, this year’s dress in ivory, black and aqua mist, the tunic with the georgette border, the gaucho pant and last years wide leg pant in black and alabaster……the asymmetric hem shirt with the stand collar were all in this GAUZE CREPE fabric.

      1. Kate

Oh, I love that fabric! Thanks for the clarification.

  11. Chris/Jazzmom

Quickly comparing the 2 colors on my monitor of the dark chocolate crepe gauze top to the dark sand pants makes me think the dark sand pants have more of a gray undertone vs. a brown undertone. Am I correct?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I guess you can sat that…..I think of it as more of a khaki or chino kind of color…..it really has nothing to do with Dk. Chocolate.

  12. Chris/Jazzmom

Does the dark sand pant work with the dark chocolate tank with chiffon border?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

You could wear them together. It would be like wearing a chino color with dark brown. I’m not sure if you would like them together?

  13. Bernadette

Louis!!! I love it!!! These pieces are perfect and living in hot, humid, Texas, I could wear these almost until Christmas. Seriously, we have had 85 degree weather at that time if the year!!! I wish they would release the jewelry for the total package purchase. No worries though. I am anxiously awaiting the jewelry. You are the best!
