“THE ALABASTER LEATHER/KNIT JACKET”

reefer4

………………..The ALABASTER leather jacket, A297864, is the second color being offered in this new LAMB leather jacket. EVERYTHING you may own or intend to buy in Alabaster, like the short sleeve WK sweater above, A267882, will either match or blend nicely with the leather and knit. For a column of color the Slim Ponte pant and the Super Ponte Boot cut pant to come, are both terrific alternatives!……This is a luxurious color especially in the Lamb leather. The factory did a fantastic job of matching the leather and knit and it is made beautifully. The one thing about Alabaster is it looks great with any color. Navy, black, grey, wine, blackberry, Port, olive bottoms etc. etc. all look great with Alabaster. Pop a color like fuchsia with black pants, burnt orange with gray pants and all will look fantastic for Fall/winter. Of course all Alabaster from head to toe is the ultimate, and makes the perfect Spring outfit…….Even the new ALABASTER FLORAL print blouse worn with the jacket and a color pant of your choosing will make this a season-less look……..It time to play mixing and matching……The Spirit necklace in Desert Sand is all you need for a simple accessory, but you can jazz it up with so much more…..Perhaps you were lucky enough to get the Alabaster FACETED BEADS, or the Aztec necklace in Alabaster for a more dramatic look………………This is definitely a head turner!………………………….enjoy………………………much Love……………………………Louis

Oh Emma, what happened! The jacket was posted early. I was hoping who ever wanted it would be able to pre-order.

IGOTIT…I have loved your designs for many years-saving up for AK as a young career woman. Now, I’m retired, but still wishing to look as good as I can. Hence I can’t resist Linea fashions. However, I have been frustrated more than once by missing out on items that sell out before I can get them. I just recently learned how to get sneak previews, Louis’ blog and great information from the Linea community. I got the Alabaster slim pants last summer and wore them with the assymetric top in aqua. Received SO MANY compliments. I love the color alabaster and decided to keep an eye out for a jacket-thought about the cardigan, but, you guessed it, it sold out. Things work out for the best…It was love at first sight when I saw this jacket on air during the week. Long story short, I successfully ordered it. Can’t wait to receive. Have already envisioned several outfilts centering around this jacket. Louis, I want you to know how much JOY you bring to my life, as I have been recuperating from health challenges for about three years now. I enjoy building my wardrobe (lot’s of Linea) in anticipation for my fully recovered days ahead. This jacket may be my favorite to date! Thank you, thank you, thank you.

Dear LaMuffin….love the name!…..I’m sorry to hear about your health issues. If I can bring you some joy, I’m sure that will help you to heal faster!

This is such a beautiful coat in all the colors you’re offering … but the alabaster version is a coat I cannot resist owning. With our mild Seattle weather, I will be able to wear this many months of the year. Thank you so much for all the beautiful clothes you create.

    Two words: Must Have.

I am powerless to resist your lamb leather and knit jackets. I have every one you have ever presented, including the faux curly lamb fur/ knit. Sadly, some are now too large for my smaller self to wear.
I will wear the alabaster exactly as shown here. I like the back treatment on this style. Different from previous jackets.
As classic and sophisticated as this style is, I might also need it in the black as I no longer have a properly fitting black Linea leather/knit jacket.

I’m sure you will love them…..They are beautifully made and top quality leather. When you make a leather jacket in a light color like Alabaster, you have to use good flawless leather. Many times you will find that light color leather jackets are stiff. That is because they are using an almost paint to cover the flaws in the leather. No so with lamb leather, but even with lamb the qrade “A” skins have to be used for pale colors.
