“THE WINE WK SWING DRESS”

reefer10

……………………….Introducing the WHISPER KNIT MIDI DRESS!………………..I think this is one you’re going to LOVE!…………….The style numbers are…..A297856 for the regular, and A297859 for the petite…………It has a beautiful V-neckline……….I am sure some will think it’s too low, but only for the most conservative. I know many will applaud!. The sleeves are long…….the body follows the lines of the torso. It has the same SWING SEAMING as the SWING WK sweaters…..so there are godets to create the swing. It drapes beautifully………the dress is made in the ENR MEDIUM WEIGHT. As far as fit you should order this dress as you would a WK swing sweater. I would say it is closest to the V-neck swing sweater. If you normally size down a size in your W Knits then that is what you should do with this dress……..There is lots of stretch! The one thing you do not want is to have a dress that is too big…..It is sized S,M,L……Notice, I have it shown with the new LEATHER/KNIT zip front jacket in WINE, J297864. This was no accident…….I planned them to go together, and they look fabulous!……………As far as accessorizing goes…….the sky is the limit….That’s what is fabulous about this dress…..every time you wear it you can make it look totally different……..I have chosen to accessorize the dress with something you may not have thought of……….the GREEN PATINA ETRUSCAN  necklace and earring set and beaded bracelet….plus the GREEN PATINA FISH……I love how the green looks against the wine…..It is totally unique…….Isn’t that what you want to achieve every time you get dressed……something unique that expresses you!…………………………..enjoy…………………………much Love………………….Louis

    So, can we talk shoes?

I know tall boots would work well, but can you envision other options?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate, I always recommend boots because they are an easy solution and look good on everyone. So, when you get the dress home first try it on with boots for the right effect. The wrong “shoe” can KILL the look and the dress. That said, there are many options…….In “general” I do like the leg covered either with opaque tights, fancy tights or SHEER tights, but not always especially for evening.I do like nude tights. Here are some options I think will work: A287486, A282781, A278423 [notice Anne with the black legging and the show boot, not for everyone, but very edgy], A296892 [a killer shoe boot], A279903, AA281330, A295019, A289880, A285252 [evening], AA275898 [evening], A275826, A287483…….This is just to give you some idea of options I see working with the dress. I’m sure you can find fabulous options. I do feel strongly about a shoe boot fitting closely to the leg without gaping or it can get that dreaded Granny Clampert look. With each one playing with the right tights is important……………on another note…..with slim shorter pants I love this new flat, A298105……Let me know what you yhink

My joy over the WK swing dress and the reefer coat bring me to tears. I can hardly focus, I’m so excited to order both of these beautiful designs in all colors.

Thank you for the absence of waist seams or empire seams – yet seaming and shaping that create a waist in both the dress and coat.

Clothing perfect for my busty self can be tricky. Dress=perfection. Reefer=perfection.

Louis, I hope you feel my love and gratitude for keeping this business woman polished and professional. I know from positive comments that I receive, that the pulled-together presentation when I walk into a room has increased my sales (and yours)! I salute you, kind Sir.

Dear T1…. I am so pleased that what I do has value for you and makes your life more joyful. Your words mean a lot to me.

WOW Louis! This is so beautiful! We’re preparing for Hurricane Nate. Hopefully it’ll pass through quickly. Thank you for all of your beautiful clothes! The wine is going to be my choice… Just stunning!

  4. Karen In WI

Oh, this is just beautiful and I’m so glad that it swings away from the hips. I have two of the original WK dresses in black and olive and love them, but if I’m a few pounds heavier than I like to be….it’s so nice to have another WK dress to hide them a bit! It’s a hard choice between the fawn and wine, but I think it might be the wine and then I’ll have to get the gunmetal bar necklace. Thank you Louis!

Wow, what a beautiful dress! I definitely will get this beautiful color and maybe black as well. Is this the same silhouette as A294606? Is it the same length?

    1. louis dell'olio

Similar but not the same…..one is a cut and sew knit fabric and one is a sweater dress. I think the WK is a little smaller. The lengths are approx. the same.

  6. Grace

Oh Louis, this dress is WONDERFUL!!! I will be purchasing every color. I just love it. And, I’m especially gaga over the new fawn color. Thank you, thank you for bringing us these classic, chic “wear everywhere” longer dresses.

I’m drunk on Linea Wine and Port! So happy in my intoxicated state.

    1. Goldie76

Really love this V-neck and the medium ENR knit. VERY appealing.

  8. Kate

Wow. Is this “wine”, “port”, something else?

I’ll be buying all three as they’re such classics, but I really, really love that Fawn.

    1. louis dell'olio

It’s wine like my wine Super Ponte Boot Cut pant…..and like my Wine V-neck WK swing sweater from last year.

      1. Kate

If I would slow down and read…it says “wine” right in the title! Anyway, love it. Thanks for this kind of easy, don’t need to think to hard about it, dressing.
