“THE NEW SUPER PONTE SLIM PANT”

blackberry1

……………………..Aren’t photos of a pant hanging from a hanger just the best?#*@%! That’s why I never shoot pants on their own, but I felt these pants deserved a try!…………This is my NEW SUPER PONTE “SLIM” PANT……………..It will be avail in a regular length of 30 inches and a petite length of 27 inches…………Many of you already know the fabric well. It is the same as my Super Ponte Boot Cut Pant. This is a combination of two of my best selling pants…..the SP Boot Cut, A268216 and the lighter Ponte Slim pant, A265515, that so many of you love……….The idea behind this pant was to use the Super Ponte fabric of the Boot Cut combined with the silhouette of the Slim Pant……….Both of the previous mentioned pants are almost the same design at the top with the CONTOUR waist band….the narrow ELASTIC, and the darts that start at the waist band and slant down to the side seam…..giving the hip a smooth shape……….The leg of the new pant is very similar to the slim pant…..but….the new pant has a slightly larger leg opening, and the new pant is slightly longer……..This pant is numerically sized, so what ever size you are now buying in the slim pant and the boot cut pant should be perfect…………..The colors are…………..BLACK………………BLACKBERRY………………STEEL GREY [which is much darker then SMOKE]……With the perfect combination of the Super Ponte Fabric and the Slim silhouette, I hope this will soon become a new favorite!…..A297868 is the reg. length…..A297874 is the petite length….I will be showing these pants this Friday Nov. 3rd, on the Morning Show, starting at 7:00am…………………….enjoy………………..much Love……………….Louis

So it looks like your petite clients bought up all the regular length pants?! Who do we need to contact to beg for more 32 inch inseams?

    1. louis dell'olio

The buyers. I tried to get them to buy thge 32 inch, but when we saw it on the fit model 5″7″ it looked bad. I couldn’t win the battle. They will never buy talls…..too much $$$$ investment on three sizes

Would be nice if the QVC buyers would meet us somewhere in the middle. If the petites aren’t happy with the petite length and are buying up the regulars that are too short for women over 5’7″, QVC’s fit strategy is failing. The petite-sized pants are sitting there unsold and tall customers are left out completely. If they won’t offer tall sizing, then the buyers should at least adjust the lengths of regulars and petites to accommodate most customers, even if we have to alter the pants. Just my two cents…

I agree with you….I will try to make petite inseams going forward for slim pants 28″, and at least 31″ for reg.

    Hi Louis
Last year I purchased multiples of A282511 Regular Linea Super Ponte Straight Leg Pant in Black and Espresso Brown as well as A285547 Petite Linea Super Ponte Straight Leg Pant in black as well as Espresso Brown. These aforementioned pants are totally sold out in the black. Are these new pants the same as those? I know they are the same length. How are they different? I am interested in the Charcoal Gray.

Since I’m already in PA. I can’t answer, but the new pant has a slimmer leg.

I am confused on the style number for this pant as well. Under the Red swing jacket you list is as A297868 and under the alabaster color swing jacket you list it as A297686, which is correct for the regular length? Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry Romy….sometimes a write the last 3 numbers backwards…..the reg is A297868, and the petite is A297874

Hi Louis, Are these the numbers for these pants: A297868 for reg. and A297874 for petite?

    1. louis dell'olio
