Donations con’t

Hi everyone…..I have been waiting for the correct information for those of you who would like to send a donation for cancer research at Boston Mass General……..First the check would be made out to …..Massachusetts General Hospital……Now, this is the important part to make sure the money goes to the right place! On the memo line you must write……”Jacqueline Dubelle”, as well as the fund name…..”Targeting a Cure for Lung Cancer Fund”. This way the donated money gets used for ROS1 lung cancer research in Jac’s honor. You MUST write Jac’s full name on the check so that the money goes to the appropriate research fund………………This would be a wonderful way to honor Jac. Remember the size of the donation doesn’t matter……Honoring Jac’s memory is what this is all about, and hopefully finding the cure for ROS1 cancer which took my Jac away from me……..Please mail your checks to the following address:

I would appreciate anything you can do……..lots of Love and appreciation……………Louis

I am also very glad that you will have a driving companion when you next visit QVC. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers.

My family has also been impacted by cancer. Thank you for giving us this opportunity to honor Jac, while also helping support the search for a cure for this awful disease. It feels good to do something positive when dealing with a disease that often leaves us feeling helpless. My check is on the way.

    Dear Louis —

Lovely Jac is the fourth of my women friends to lose their battle against cancer in 2017. Oh how I miss my dear friend Mary (gallbladder cancer), two of my law partners, Lisa and Kelly (both to breast cancer), and now Jac (lung cancer). Cancer is horrible. I’ll do anything to advance the search for a cure. So thank you for providing this information. Donation in Jac’s name is on its way. God bless.

    With much love,
    Ann/TourEiffel

Thank you, Louis for posting this information. Any kind of cancer is awful. I suggest taking a car service so you don’t have to concentrate on driving.

    Regards,
    Chris

Thank you for posting this. Also, for saying the size of the donation doesn’t matter. What matters is the fact that this goes to a specific fund in honor of your Jac is wonderful. It gives us a tangible way to contribute to her memory. Peace- Nancy

Thank you, Louis. It is a wonderful way to honor Jac. I am hoping they will send an acknowledgement to you, so that you will be aware of how proud we all are to honor Jac. I will make that request when I make my donation. We, all, wish to support you during this time and please know that our caring goes far beyond Linea. It is the person that we care so deeply about. It is you and it is Jac that is our main concern. We have become a family circle and our caring for you and for Jac runs very deep. My prayers continue. oxoxoxo Cat

Dear Somersault, Jac and I were very much aware that Linea only played a small part in our growing friendships with all of you. It was just the conduit for all of us to meet. As you so rightly say, it’s about the people, and even though we have never met, I feel such a close bond with all of you. There are no words that can express how much I thank all of you. This first show is going to be very difficult for all of us. I just have to keep reminding myself what Jac has said to me…..”just breath”.

Louis, I am hoping that someone will be travelling with you to QVC. I would hate that this first visit would be on your own. We, all, will support you on your this first show, tears and all but I pray you will have the comfort of a travelling companion to help with this journey so you will not be alone with your thoughts and broken heart. oxoxoxo Cat

Louis, I agree with Somersault. It would be most helpful for you to have a good and caring traveling companion back and forth on your first trip back to QVC. Perhaps one of your siblings could accompany you.

          1. Barbara in Virginia

I also agree that we would all breathe more easily if you have a traveling companion with you for the trip to QVC and back. Of course Jac will be with you in spirit, but God also works through other people as well. We will all be mother hens for you here!

            1. louis dell'olio

Dear Barbara, I have taken to heart what all of you have suggested. At first I thought I would be fine traveling by myself driving to QVC and back…..after all Jac would be by my side, and i would talk to her along the way, but I know I would start crying, and that wouldn’t be very safe. I really didn’t know who to ask since for almost 18 years it had always been Jac and me……Yesterday, I did ask her best friend Aaron if she would like to take the trip with me, and she said absolutely…..so now there will be three of us in the car and that makes me happy. I’ll still probably cry along the way, but at least I’ll have Aaron with me.

            2. Somersault

Louis, what a wonderful travelling companion you have chosen! Jac, surely, had a warm, loving hand in this. It puts my mind at ease and gives you both the opportunity to share the joy of knowing Jac. I hope there will be some memories that will make you both laugh, remembering all the good times. oxoxo Cat

            3. Barbara in Virginia

Exhale, Louis! Aaron sounds like the perfect travel companion. I’m sure she also loves Jac very much XXOO

    Thank you, Louis.

Lung cancer. The wretched disease that destroyed my beloved husband and my best friend/matron of honor. So, so sorry, Louis.

It would be a wonderful thing to eradicate it.
