Wow, you did it again. What an adorable little, go everywhere, dress for those hot summer days. I’ll order as soon as it’s available, the olive and tan are calling my name. I’m guessing they’ll sell out quickly. Btw, I got your little frock with the shirred neck and the high-low hem A253405, you’re an absolute genius. I didn’t know I could look so good. Thank you.

Dear JoAnn…so nice to hear from you and I’m so glad you like your high/low tank dress. Please don’t forget to leave your review. I know you will love the “T” shirt dress too.

    Dear Louis,
As always, thanks for your fabulous designs!!!!!! I just received the black printed cardigan and just love it. The beautiful floral print reminds me of a favorite quilt that my dear Grandmother made in the 1950’s. Every time I wear it, I fondly think of her. The fabric is so soft and comfortable that I ordered it in all of the colors.
    Merci beaucoup,
    Lovelinea

Oh my, love, love…I’m predicting a sell out! So in anticipation of a reorder for next year, can we please have Chili Pepper and how about a Purple and a Fuchsia? This dress will be an absolute “uniform” for me—speaking as a former Catholic School girl, that is, so I know uniforms—LOL!

Just tried on the denim ankle jeans. Hoping we will have this fabric in a straight-leg style for cold weather. Dark denim, black, a warm dark grey.

Good Morning Louis! How do you do it; you never seem to have any down time? I’m gone for a few days and I have trouble catching up with you.

I’m loving the Olive for turquoise jewelry, the Black is a no brainer, and got to have the Blue. This is a really cute go-to little dress with all of the top stitching and impressive embroidered Linea logo…nice touch!

Louis, this dress is so adorable and I’d love to order it in several colors–it is, as you say, the perfect summer uniform! But, I’m so disappointed to see yet again another dress that’s too short for me at 5’9″. At my age/stage, even at a size 10-12, I cannot wear lengths above the knee. And, I know I’m not alone among your very devoted customers. I really don’t understand why sizes are offered in “regular” and “petite” at QVC, but not “tall.” Or, why hems aren’t offered on skirts and dresses for the tall Linea women. Isn’t that a workable solution? I’m guessing there’s some bottom line calculation at play here, but it’s just not right for QVC to ignore an entire size category. Any light you can shed on this issue is very much appreciated.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Grace…..this is an ongoing battle both you and I have with the Q…..offering tall lengths. I can not tell you how many times I bring this up in our meetings. I have to say….if you want tall lengths all of you must be more VOCAL! I have tried to no avail…..Making a hem deeper is not as easy as it sounds. For bottoms that are either tapered or flare out like this A-Line dress, you can only turn back a certain amount of fabric before you have to either shirr in the excess for a flared bottom or for the tapered leg…..make the hem flare back out to fit….otherwise the turn back will be too narrow. I’m sure if you are a sewer you will understand. The only way to add more hem is on a straight leg pant….and depending on the fabric…this could effect the hang of the pant. If it were so easy or even look good, you would see it more often. Again, if you want talls……ALL of you must gather your forces and SPEAK OUT. It’s the number of you that will make the difference. If only 20 speak out it will never happen. It is totally out of my control. If they bought a style in three lengths in all the sizes necessary, it would be a huge buy….money wise….so they won’t do it unless they know they can sell it!

      1. Carol B

I am one of the tall, older women that would love this dress if it was longer. Stupid question, whom would you contact at QVC to request talls? Again, thank you for all you do.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….I’m not sure about that, but I know there are many Linea ladies who know exactly who you should contact.

      2. Grace

Louis, thank you for your gracious response. It’s no surprise that you’ve been advocating for tall sizing and that the bottom line numbers are driving QVC’s decision not to order “talls” in your line. I’m not exactly sure how QVC arrives at those sales projections. I also have no idea how many of us need tall sizing beyond those of us who are vocal in the QVC Linea Forum. Absent the projected sales numbers it may take to convince QVC to include tall sizes, I’m grateful when you do offer a maxi length in a skirt or a longer length (40 inches) in a dress in your collections. I know you listen to all of us and try your best to accommodate all women of all sizes. Please know that your efforts are sincerely appreciated. If we weren’t so enamored with Linea, this wouldn’t be an issue;)

Love! I’m in for the black and dark olive. Just can’t resist a good t shirt dress, and these are great colors!

I just got my indigo denim dress today – it’s adorable. Love the above the knee length. Love the sleeveless easy shape. Perfect summer dress! Thanks, Louis – these are fun!
