“THE NUGGET BEAD NECKLACE”

nuggets nuggets1

…………………….A wonderful new necklace is being introduced very soon……The NUGGET BEAD NECKLACE, J321805, which will be avail in ……….GOLD….and…..SILVER. The graduated nuggets give the necklace a classic look, but their free form shape makes it totally modern. The necklace has a three inch extender. In the photos of the Silver necklace, at the upper left, you can see the necklace at its’ shortest and longest lengths. They work with every neckline, and they are wonderful on top of or inside of button down shirts……This is a season-less piece. It would look equally great with a strapless dress in the summer or a turtleneck sweater in the winter……not to mention the new ENR WK short sleeve sweater in a brand new lighter weight , pictured above,, but more about that later….This necklace may look heavy, but it is very light weight…..surprisingly so……….The cool iciness of SILVER, and the warm glow of GOLD make both of these pieces must haves……………………………………………………………………….

………………………………………………………………………………enjoy……………….much Love…………………….Louis

Will you post a sneak of the new falling leaves pieces, too? Those really caught my eye during your last shows.

Dear Carol…..Yes, as soon as I receive all of my samples in all the different colors. They aren’t due to mid-end of July…..I love the Falling leaf necklaces…..they are very special and extremely directional.

Okay the gold is mine, all mine, but I just have to say OMG to the new sweater. Love the length of the sleeve and the neckline. Hoping it comes in lots and lots of colors. Guessing we’ll see this in September?

      AUG……3 colors

      1. kate

Well now, that really is exactly the right time for them! Fall clothes…sigh, so nice.

      2. Julie

Black, ivory and what is the 3rd color please????

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Julie….the colors for the new WK ENR short sleeve sweater in the new lighter weight WK are Black, Heather Charcoal Grey, Alabaster and Currant.

          1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Alabaster…. love that. I thought those pictures – even given that it’s hard to capture color exactly with flash – had the top looking more like buttermilk than ivory. Alabaster gives a different, and lovely bone-china-like look. Very beautiful!

            1. louis dell'olio

Dear Nancy…..I’m very excited by this color. It’s my new favorite neutral, and I know it will be flattering on everyone. It’s a wee bit deeper than my normal ivory, but there is no gray in it so it has a beautiful glow. You can bet I will be using more of it in future collections.

          2. Julie

Thank you so much Louis! I can’t wait to see the Currant!

          3. Enjay

I’m thrilled that you’re bringing in more charcoal grey. One of my favorite neutrals. Currant sounds interesting!

  6. Goldie76

Louis, they are very appealing. From what material are they made?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Goldie they are made out of copper coated plastic beads, and then re-plated silver and gold. This is what makes them light weight. If they were metal beads the necklace would be very heavy.

      1. Goldie76

Wonderful! I am all for lightness in weight. And shiny beads have their turn once again. Yay!

        1. Grace

Goldie, it’s a big relief to see your name here–you are missed. Hope all is well in your world.

          LOVE these new beads…

          1. Goldie76

Grace, it is good to greet you again. I miss you and the OLD forum, I must say, but I felt it was time to drop it. The truth is that I was very foolish, at this stage of my life, to accept a large project and am drowning in work. I’ve found this project extremely challenging, draining and frustrating. Sadly, it is not as exciting as interviewing NASA astronauts, but, instead, is a nose-to-the-grindstone demanding task. This old girl is supposed to retire soon, and so I shouldn’t care that much. But I do…

I also love the sweater! Absolutely darling!

            1. Goldie76

The sweater is a captivating shade, isn’t it? Forgot to add that. It appears to be a color that will work well with most of us. Wow!

            2. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Miss you too Goldie! Hope your new project goes as you would wish – very well! If not on the forum I can at least look forward to your reviews and comments here!

            3. Goldie76

Good to read your words, Owl. Louis’s beautiful pieces are hard to resist or keep still about — at least for me. So there will continue to be chatter from me.

Thank you for the good wishes on that project. I’ve learned that I still have certain skills, but I no longer have the endurance to push and move as I once had. … and that is why the younger ones move on up in life, and the older move more to the rear. It is good to come out every now and again, however. Somehow, I cannot feature total retirement for me. If Mr. Goldie were still alive, my story might be different.

            4. Grace

Goldie, I say good for you taking on this important project and giving it the focus it understandably requires. Even though you’re getting closer to retiring, there’s a lot to be said for finishing one’s career strong. I will miss you on the forum–you are a big part of what makes it special for so many of us. But, I’ll settle for “seeing” you here once-in-awhile! Besides, you definitely don’t want to miss out on any of Louis’ sneak peeks!

When I saw this necklace, I knew it would be right up your alley. I’m also loving the new lightweight ENR sweater. Simply elegant. Can’t wait!

    Must haves, indeed!
