“THE PERSIAN BLUE FAUX SHETLAND SWEATER”

shetland sweater3

……………………………PERSIAN BLUE……………….is also making a return, due to popular demand…….It’s a color that is hard to define………It has a slight under tone of teal, but it also has the look of midnight blue…..the color of the evening sky before it turns to black…………..I  love this sweater simply worn with a maxi skirt and a pair of boots. Maybe you were lucky enough to get my Ponte maxi in the Grey or Black…..or for you Southern Ladies the SMOKE FEATHER JERSEY MAXI…..there may be a few left………….This is the perfect outfit for delicate necklaces…like the Love Knots above…..the new GM Multi Cross necklace….the Falling Leaves necklace and earring………the Lariat in GM or Silver………or the reversible Cross in GM or Silver……………….This Persian Blue is a very calming Zen like moody color…………a cozy sweater to cuddle up with a good book, such as “The Little Paris Bookshop” by Nina George……Jac gave it to me to read, and it’s a very sweet story. If you love France and Provence you will love this. For my friends who have taken river cruises in France……..this is for you.  Wear your sweater with a pair of Linea Leisure pull-on pants……find a cozy corner, and have a cup of tea…..and start reading………………………………………………………………………..

……………………………………………….enjoy………………………….much Love………………….Louis

I am glad that there is a reorder in this blue. I wanted that color last year and was unable to get my size. Thanks.

    Dear Louis,
I have the v-neck in persian blue and heather grey & the cardigan in charcoal grey & heather grey. Another adored Linea classic. I was one of the lucky ones to get the ponte maxi skirt (my all-time favorite skirt)in grey, black & brown, but I don’t think I’ve ever paired them with this sweater. I will now! I know I’ve asked you if this skirt could make a reappearance with new colors (navy, camel, dark khaki), but I’m pretty sure you said no reorder would be possible. I wish you’d bring back another maxi skirt, because the shape & fit of this one was perfection. Elegantly tapered and the drape is so graceful. If a reorder is impossible, I’m thinking I’ll buy fabric & ask my tailor to reproduce it. Do you think that’s even doable?

If you have a good dress maker, yes it’s doable. If they don’t have the capability of sewing with stretch thread they can always add a zipper.

        Thanks, Louis.
