“THE MERLOT PULLOVER”

dad3

…………………………….MERLOT…..with BLACK……………….is the third and final color being offered in this top……It just so happens that the MERLOT LEISURE PANT with the BLACK RACING STRIPE, A268243 looks fantastic with this top….Due to the blend of Cotton and Poly, one of the yarns, cotton, takes the dye and the other rejects it giving you this heather effect. The blow up makes it look like there is a lot of white, but in real life the fabric looks deeper than the blow up above…..The black fabric detailing the top is the same fabric as the racing stripe on the pant……..This style pant, when I first presented them was a novelty, but they have continued and are still being shown in one way or another on many many runways. They are shown both for casual and leisure clothes as well as dress suits……………food for thought!……………………………………………..enjoy……………………..much Love…………………………Louis

Is the color merlot exactly like the raglan merlot (which was too gold/rust for me) or does it have more of a pink/fuschia undertone (it looks like it does)?

Also, previously you suggested going up a size in LL…true for this top, too?

I love the LL line, and thank you for it!

Dear MadameD it’s not as gold/rust as you say…..it’s definitely redder [not fuchsia]. With the white in it….it becomes something else. If you put it next to the top you refer to it certainly works, but the pant I’m showing it with is pomegranate and that is definitely redder.
