It has been brought to my attention that there are customers wondering where the Silver BW Bracelet is since everything else has been delivered. I did some sleuthing and got the answer, which is very simple. The manufacturer sent the bracelets out in boxes that were miss-labeled, so they have to be re-boxed, correct labels printed, and put onto the boxes so QVC can process them correctly and we don’t have the same fiasco as we did with the Berber necklaces where olive and blue were miss labeled. In both cases it was not the QVC shipping departments fault. They should be at the warehouse by the end of the week. What can I say….stuff happens, no one’s perfect. I assure you nothing was wrong with the bracelets…..just the wrong labels were put on the boxes. It’s a good thing the mistake was caught before they were shipped! It will be worth the wait!!
…………………………..I haven’t done much in ROSE/PINK GOLD……copper ox yes, but Rose Gold…no. I thought it was time to offer to the Rose/Pink Gold lovers two of my most popular pieces…..The FISH…..and to go with it the Roller Bracelet……..What is wonderful about Rose Gold is how easily it does blend with the Copper Ox pieces….as the Ring necklace on the mannequin…..The colors of the Rose Gold do vary between the bracelets and the Fish……They are made by different factories so there will always be a little difference, but they still look great together..Who’s got the reel and the rod ready!? ……………………Many of you have already purchased my “Insert Lace Top”, some of you in more than one color……I have heard from many of you telling me how much you love and appreciate the beauty and quality of this top…..I have heard from you even as far away as Venice, Italy………I feel that part of my responsibility as a designer is not only to dress you beautifully, but to make dressing EASY and ENJOYABLE……One of the ways to make dressing easier is to offer you the perfect accessories to wear with your apparel…….Some of the jewelry I design is generic, meaning there was no particular item of clothing I had in mind when I designed it…..like the Maasai group…..Then there is jewelry that I did design to go with specific items of clothing like the new CHANTILLY PEARL NECKLACE & EARRING SET, J393300. I felt it might be difficult to find the absolute perfect piece of jewelry to go with these delicate looking lace tops, so I designed what I think IMHO is the perfect necklace to wear with them. I knew the necklace had to make a statement, but not such a strong statement as to compete with delicacy of the top………PEARLS with LACE, for me was the answer. I wanted to keep metal to a minimum. The necklaces are 72 inches long with three inch extenders, so they are very versatile. Doubled, tripled or even quadrupled are all options for wearing the necklace………As far as the colors, the fabric was the answer. I decided to do two of the necklaces in alternating colors of the top. The necklace above is called ROSE MULTI…..more accurately it could have been named Rose/Beige….the two colors in the top………I also decided to use tiny metal links between each pearl to keep the necklaces as FLUID as possible. Many people do not realize this, but it is more expensive to HAND LINK the pearls together this way then to HAND KNOT them………I know…..I didn’t realize that either…..It actually takes more time to link each pearl. If you have ever seen people who do the hand knotting they have it down to a science, and actually do it relatively quickly…The EARRING is a simple DOUBLE drop of fine chain, and two pearls at different lengths using the two colors of pearls…..It has a lever back closing…..Again, for those who don’t have pierced ears it will be easy to convert to clips………The whole look of top and jewelry is in perfect harmony…..Even though I created the pearls to go with this specific top, you will find that they work with many other things you own……..Whether you wear the top with the pearls and a dressy bottom, or with jeans it is all very of the moment, and classic at the same time………There is a strong retro feel, a 20’s and 30’s look to this combination……….Being a fan of old movies where I get much inspiration from, I can’t help but think of Jennifer Jones in “Tender is the Night”, at least in my mind…………………………enjoy…………………..much Love……………………………Louis
