……………………Merry Christmas everyone!…………I guess you can tell from my face that Santa was very good to me. I got a great pool table! and you can see under the tree my “Deluxe” Chemistry set!!!!! I never blew anything up so it was all good……..I loved my presents…..As I recall that was the year my older brothers told me I was getting nothing but coal…….they were wrong!!…All of us who were fortunate enough to have had our childhoods in the 50s know how innocent a time it was…….We had carefree lives…….I pray the children of today have some of what we had back then. I would like to think so……I hope Santa was very good to all of you, and you got what you wished for!………………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..

Merry Christmas Eve from our house to yours! The stockings are hung by the fireplace, and Jac has made enough cookies to feed an army……..If it’s up to me it will be an army of one….LOL. The “trees” are decorated. The Stollen is on the rise, and Jac is finishing wrapping presents for the girls. They love tearing into the paper to get the treats inside. Every year we decorate two trees. The one on the sun porch is “Marianne’s Tree”. That is Jac’s mother, and the tree is decorated with all of her old ornaments. Then there is our tree decorated with ornaments we have collected over the years and many that were “gifted” to us. Whatever your plans may be I hope you have a wonderful Holiday…………………….much Love………………….Louis

………………………..What’s the best way to dress for the Holidays?…….Anyway you want….as long as you add a little BLING! Whether your at an office party, a Black Tie event, having a tree decorating party or lounging at home on Christmas Eve……a little bling always makes the season BRIGHT!…………I have chosen a few of my favorite pieces to dress up any outfit you may chose….from a long evening dress to casual pull-ons and a comfy pull-over……………Starting at the top….the THREE STRAND pearl necklace with tiny separator beads. The silver gray and gunmetal will look so expensive on all of your CHARCOAL HEATHER GREY WK pieces……..the IVORY will look great on EVERYTHING. There is also a coordinating small oval button earring to match [not shown]. Pears are timeless, and thanks to Karl Lagerfeld of Chanel, they are always “INSTYLE”………….The DROP EARRING in the GUNMETAL/BLACK DIAMOND and BLACK JET COMBO or the GOLD/CRYSTAL and CLEAR DROP adds much needed drama to any LBD. One of the reasons the women who have purchased them LUV them is……they are not too long or overwhelming. They look like they came from an estate sale, which is exactly what I wanted them to look like………………………Next is the 72 inch JET FACETED ‘GLASS” BEAD NECKLACE. I will repeat faceted GLASS, not plastic, which you find in most stores, and when they are glass they are much shorter. This necklace was originally in 4 colors, and BLACK JET, which we had the most quantity in is the last one left. Ladies I show this necklace with EVERYTHING, and I’ve been showing black jet for 40 years! If you don’t own this I absolutely think this is a MUST HAVE. I think own TWO would not be excessive either. This necklace, at the 72 inch length, is very versatile. You can wear it SINGLE, DOUBLED, TRIPLED, and with the three inch extender, even QUADRUPLED…Even though these necklaces have done incredibly well they probably will not be coming back. I either bring back an old piece or bring in a new. Since there isn’t any additional monies for reorders, I usually bring in new. Of course there have been some exceptions like the FISH and BAR necklace…..For me a MUST HAVE JET NECKLACE…………………The perfect HOLIDAY EARRING….the CABOCHON STONE surrounded in GOLD…..This earring goes with ALL of the BYZANTINE necklace many of you already own…..If you bought anything this season in SCARLET RED….The RED EARRING is a must…..The EMERALD STONE is a wonderful accent to any color….Do you really need a reason to wear an EMERALD?………………The DOUBLE SIDED CROSS……..PAVE CRYSTALS on one side with a PEARL center, and SOLID METAL on the other with a BLACK JET center…..TWO CROSSES for one. This time of year, a wonderful cross means so much more………………The CRYSTAL and PEARL pin……This is not just any pin. The six sided pin has a BOMBE shape, meaning it is raised in the center to create a DOME The center pearl is not a half pearl, but a FULL ROUND PEARL giving the pin a very regal look…….suited for a Czar of Russia or a Maharaja of India. It is a beautifully executed pin, and will dress up any dress, sweater, coat, scarf or clutch bag………..a wonderful and useful accessory…………..The tapered crystal earring has a very intricate design. The metal work and embedded crystals give this earring the “DESIGNER” look. All three colors have a place in every women’s wardrobe………………..Diamonds are a girl’s best friend especially when they come in a bold BOMBE CUFF. It is a avail. in GOLD or SILVER, both with glittering crystals……I love these worn with a simple long sleeve black dress and earrings…..It looks even more fantastic with one on each wrist!….Every woman has a little Marilyn in her……………..The next earring I designed to go with the BYZANTINE group, and is a design right from historic paintings. The top of the earring is a much smaller version on the Cabochon earring above. This earring however, has interchangeable drops!………A beautiful TEARDROP PEARL, think of the Vermeer painting “Girl with a Pearl Earring”, or a ribbed teardrop translucent color bead are your choices. I always love that “two for one” option. This is a beautiful, wearable earring, and I’m surprised it is still hear. BTW, the top of the earring can be worn by itself….so that makes it THREE options…………………Last but certainly not least is one of my favorites……the TEARDROP BIB NECKLACE…….Back story……. A few years ago Jac and I went to the FANY AWARD dinner. I was one of the first recipients of this award for “Designer Of the Year’ for my Anne Klein Shoe line. I digress…….Jac was wearing a black cashmere backless halter bodysuit with an attached long wrap skirt…..and lots of leg showing. She was wearing the original of this BLACK JET NECKLACE around her neck with the matching drop earring. Needless to say She was absolutely captivating and gorgeous! I enjoyed watching men and women….watching Jac. She just looked incredible. It really doesn’t take much for her to look incredible…..but that night she was just statuesque…….One of the lady executes at QVC said to me, “Louis you must make that necklace for QVC!” I thought she was just being polite, but she kept at it, and repeated “I want that for QVC”. I replied “Are you sure, it’s very extreme, and would have a very limited audience” Imagine me worried about it being too extreme!, but this was for QVC. Long story story short….here it is. I have to say I was right….The audience was limited and now we are selling it for $35 which is a steel for basically a one of a kind piece. Many were not made to begin with. I however, was happy we ended up producing it…..even if it was for a few, because those who own it in either the JET or CLEAR absolutely love it. As I always say, not everything is for everybody, nor should it be. So…..if you are in that small group who loves special bold pieces…..this IS FOR YOU. Don’t be afraid to step out of your comfort zone…….Imagine how beautiful the clear necklace will look on a simple white linen top or a floaty white dress next summer……perfect for your next vacation in some exotic local……..I didn’t mention it, but many of these pieces are on CLEARANCE or even “last clicks” so take advantage while they are still here…..They are all special, and they are all COLLECTORS PIECES………..Now doesn’t everyone need a little BLING to make the season Bright!………………………..HAPPY GLITTERY HOLIDAYS…………..much Love……………….Louis
