“THE GOLD RIVERA MAYA NECKLACE SET”
……………………………..Welcome to sunny MEXICO…………….I named it this to keep the theme going of Cancun and Cozumel, but the truth is the necklace was inspired by a Green Patina HUGE globe chandelier hanging in the main lobby of Cap Juluca, on the island of Anguilla. Every single time we have been there I stare up at it, and admire the grand size of it. I hope it made it through the last hurricane. The original sample of this necklace set…………….J352566………….was in Green Patina like the chandelier, and some of you had seen a sneak peek of it on one of my shows, but alas the factory refused to make it in that color due to the problems…………I have not given up………someday!…………….The necklace and drop earring above is called Goldtone….everything at QVC is called goldtone, even though there are a variety of gold colors…………This is the same color as my ETRUSCAN necklace set and bead bracelet, so you can wear you bracelet with this necklace. As a matter of fact the center section of beads IS the SAME BEAD as in the Etruscan necklace and bracelet………..The necklace is approx. 24 inches long with a 3 inch extender. It starts at the back neck with a chain and a Lobster Claw closing. Then these tiny oblong beads come around to the front where they meet the conical beads like the Etruscan necklace. From those hang the roundish fluted or “pumpkin” shaped beads. The grooves are blackened to give it the look of an antique aged piece. In between each of these “pumpkin” beads are the tiny oblong beads used as separator beads which help the necklace to hang properly……..This is definitely a STATEMENT NECKLACE! Due to the smaller beads used the necklace isn’t heavy. It does have some weight, but normal for this type of necklace………The drop earring has a small ball stud at the top, and a smaller version of the pumpkin bead hangs from a chain……………….This is a season-less piece and will work for you all year long………….It will look just as good on a tank dress as a turtleneck!…………………enjoy……………………much Love………………………Louis
