………………….Over the many years I designed for Anne Klein I was fortunate to collaborate with a brilliant shoe designer, Andrea Pfister. I used to go to his magnificent Villa on the Amalfi coast for two weeks twice a year to work on the collections. On this one occasion, Hannah Khoury came to the villa also to work with me. She was my fabric developer and fabric purchaser. She had been in northern Italy collecting fabric developments that I had already put into work. She came down to the villa to show it all to me so we could proceed on sampling the fabrics I liked……Fortunately Jac was able to meet me at Andrea’s and Jean Pierre’s, Andrea’s husband. When Andrea and I worked…..Jac and Jean Pierre went off exploring and SHOPPING! They were some of the best times of my life!……Spending time with two of our closest friends…………in PARADISE!
