……………….This is my final post for the August 22nd show!…..and what a finale!! The WK ENR SWING SWEATER, A259620, has become one of the most popular styles I have done in WK…..right up there with the basic TN. At first I considered this a “novelty” sweater, meaning it wasn’t a convention silhouette. Yes, the neckline, sleeves and even the upper body shape are all classic, but then the fun starts. From the rib cage to the hem the sweater gently flares out giving the sweater a very nice drape and a very feminine attitude……..It is also EXTREMELY figure flattering for the great majority of women. If that weren’t the case this would not be the third time this sweater has been reordered! Is this a sweater you want to own in many colors and keep adding onto every season?? I think so. If you are a sweater and knit lover I don’t see why not……..It has become as classic as a basic pullover. If it looks good on you and you like the colors….why not own it in many colors?
……………..This go around I am offing the Swing sweater in FOUR NEW COLORS! The first of which is……………BLACKBERRY………….one of those deep rich blackened colors I LOVE. It isn’t so dark that you can’t appreciate the richness of the actual color. Wear any bottom you choose……..leggings as my BLACK LINEA BODY LEGGING, A260034, above…..Slim pants. straight leg pants, a wider leg like my CREPE GAUZE pant, A276294, and even the GAUCHO PANT, A273865, with boots gives the top a whole new fresh look…..Skirts…you bet…..from the simplest pencil to straight maxi or tulip shapes work best….any lenght will work…….Remember to complete your look always consider what to wear on the legs. That was the whole reason I pushed to do the Linea Body Line. I want my Linea customers to have the option of my complete vision…..This sweater is the PERFECT BACKDROP to show off your jewelry. OH NO … I was travelling and did not get to order my FAVORITE sweater in this gorgeous new color blackberry. Louis, would you consider bringing it back? I know you introduce new colors with each reorder or the swing sweater, but this one is truly a knockout, and I missed it! Why does the Q continue to order too few of this already proven winner? I was watching for new colors possibly too soon. Will be checking back often to see if I can grab one that someone found to be too big or small.

Louis, my orders started arriving today. Love the blackberry. It is like the plum you had in the moto last year – simply scrumptious! I love the darkened colors. I also got the scarlet and dk umber cardigans (am holding on the mallard until they post a swatch or photo). They are beautiful colors. I also want to give feedback on the English rib sweater. Perfect length. Perfect colors. I think this one’s going to be very popular – and deservedly so…

Pretty colour BUT I already have this swing sweater in mulberry and blackberry seems to be a slightly darker shade of the mulberry. How close are these 2 shades?
I won’t feel too bad about not getting the blackberry since I have this gorgeous swing sweater in black, merlot, imperial violet, perfectly pink, mulberry and have ordered the royal blue … UNLESS I need the blackberry swing sweater to go with the other blackberry “thing”. Decisions, decisions!!!
First….the Mulberry and the Blackberry are very different. The blackberry is much much darker….With all the colors you have it would not be a matter of need…..more a matter of want. I will say I have wonderful new fleece lined leggings coming in Oct. in Blackberry. They have a pin tuck front, and are quite marvelous!
I was hoping your classic V-neck sweater would come in blackberry. Perhaps at a future date?
I have found out the V-neck isn’t being reordered due to slow sales??? I’ll come up with a new version.
Huh? The beloved V-neck no longer desirable? I look forward to a new version that you are going to create. Maybe a different knit pattern to form the “V” ? Ribbed bottom? I’ll leave the redesign to you, but I am disappointed that this favorite has lost its appeal. Actually, I am stunned a bit by this news. Life. Nothing stays the same.
I’d love to see the breakout that determines sales. That sweater is SOLD OUT in nearly all colors and sizes!
If you’re going back to the drawing board for a new V, here’s my wish list: deeper V (a girl can dream), 1+ inch longer sleeves, about 2 more inches in length!
I’ll see what I can do, but sleeve length is a QVC measurement. There’s only so much I can cheat.
I am with Kate in all of the above. Deeper V, longer sleeves and longer length (but not tunic length). My favorite WK!

Yes! Exactly what Kate said–a deeper v-neck, tad longer sleeve and 2-3 inches longer. And, I agree with DiAnne and Goldie–no tunic length. This is my favorite WK sweater and I have it in just about every color.
I agree with Kate. I stopped buying the V-neck after the first season because I didn’t wear them. They are just about an inch or so too short for me to comfortably reach across a desk and not show skin. I love the length of your V-neck WK with the short sleeves. That one I wear A LOT! I bought 3 of some of the colors in that one to make sure I had a back up when one wore out. I would love a bracelet length or long sleeve version of the WK Vneck…with the body being same length as the short sleeve V.

That’s amazing to me that it won’t be reordered. The V-neck and the T-neck are my favorite WK sweaters—so classic. Thank god I have a slew of each.

I realize that I’m probably in the minority here, but this is my favorite sweater, so I’m making a pitch that it can be redesigned as close to the original as possible. I’m 5’6″, and the 24″ length in my size was perfect. No, it probably wasn’t designed to “cover what you want to cover”, as seems to be said for most sweaters on the Q. But it was classic, original Linea and super flattering. Perfect with short or long skirts, trousers, slim pants or jeans. And it lasted for so many years, I’m thinking other buyers felt the same way.

Gorgeous color! They all are but I had to limit myself since I have so many. Ordered this, the faux suede jacket in olive, the burnt orange sweater, the grey lace-up hoodie, WK swing sweater in black (waiting to see the new colors presented), the ribbon necklace in gunmetal…I think that’s it. Can’t wait to receive them and to see your shows!
