“THE UMBER & BRICK RED CARDIGAN COAT”

poncho6

……………………UMBER and BRICK RED is a wonderful unexpected combination, and purely “Designer”. In the photos above I have chosen the new CREAM WK TN, A72448 which picks up the heather umber yarn color and adds a softness. It also looks wonderful with the Brick Red…….For bottoms, there are the NEW DARK UMBER BOOT CUT PANTS, A268216 or the NEW DARK UMBER LEGGINGS, A260034. Two very different looks both in the same color. Other colors that would work well are the Light Khaki and Espresso or Walnut Brown. Draped over her shoulders is the WK BRICK RED SCARF that many of you already own.. Once again I have used the brooch to anchor the scarf to the cardigan………I love the cardigan just zipped at the neck with the front left open showing the cream TN……yet another way to wear it…………………enjoy………………much Love………………………….Louis

Hello Louis, I love this color combination and ofcourse I have the scarf and the top in brick red. I just purchased the dark umber leggings, what color shoes/boots would you recommend with the leggings?
    thank you

Dear Nikki….if you want to be safe I would choose Dark Brown. QVC has lots of Dk. Brown boots and show boots. I also would love a deeper luggage, cognac color…..Qvc has many to choose from in this range to, but it’s hard to tell which color works from the pictures. I will order different ones for the presentation and see what works best. Which top do you have in the Brick Red, A257382, the short sleeve jewel neck WK?

Louis, I look forward to seeing which boots you will be using. I love your combinations and ofcourse I appreciate how good I look in them. I dont have the short sleeve jewel neck WK. I have the tank top which is actually on clearance and the matching cardigan and the scarf. I love your reds and I am collecting the items in scarlet red from this season. BTW, the cream color is very nice on my olive coloring and dark hair, and I was pleasantly surprised about how much I love it. I hope you have more thing planned in the cream color.
I am waiting to order the sweater coats and the ponchos and the mixed media sweater on monday. Have a safe trip

    Dear Louis,

I am IN LOVE with these coats!
Do you know the length on these beauties?

They are ( already I’m assuming I will buy two!!) going to be SO warm in Vermont when we go see the grandchildren in the Winter! Thank you so much!

    Dear Louis,

I am usually a black wearer but I can’t resist this color combination as well as the wine and spice. It will be difficult for me to decide between the two. Should I go up a size to wear as an outer garment?

    Thanks,
    Dariann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dariann, I see no reason to go up a size since it was fit with a WK TN and pants on the fit model. I don’t see anyone wearing anything heavier then that…..Choosing a color will not be easy as they are all beautiful.

        Thanks, Louis.

Worth waiting for! The Umber / Brick Red – is on my list – as well as Wine / Spice for a Family Member who just happens to wear the same size as i do!

These are Gorgeous – and so glad there’s a two-way zipper

Dear Seka, since you are interested in the Umber/Brick Red, I just want to remind you the A257382 comes in the same WK Brick Red as the scarf I’ve shown with it. It’s a great s/s sweater that would be a great layering piece. It’s also avail in stone and hunter green. I’m really not sure why they are still around????

Louis, thank you for the tip on the Sweater! And am glad I already ordered the Dark Umber Pant (my FAVOURITE) when this colour first posted.

Am also liking the Cream Turtleneck as you have shown in the photo. It looks great with the outfit.

By the way, I wore the pin shown on my oversized petrol blue sweater the other day. What a surprise! That little pin knows no color limits. It can enhance almost any shade.

All are breathtakingly gorgeous, Louis, but the umber & brick red and spruce green & fuchsia have run away with my heart. Your fall collection never disappoints, does it?
