“THE PERIWINKLE SAFARI SHIRT & BOHO SKIRT”

red4

…………………..The SAFARI SHIRT, A214117, and the BOHO SKIRT, A70208, are both coming back in………FOUR…….new colors…………I call them my MARDI GRAS COLORS. Both of these items have been ordered many many many times. I think the BOHO skirt alone is going on its’ 6th or 7th year……………..I had to ask myself why do these two pieces continue to be so popular….so I went back to read the reviews…….It quickly became clear why so many of you keep collecting these pieces, and look forward to adding new colors. COMFORT was one of the main reasons you all love these pieces. The fact that they are FEATHER WEIGHT, and COOL to wear makes them both perfect for the summer. ACCORDING TO THE REVIEWS they can be worn in the hottest most humid weather. It’s hard to find styles that basically cover you up, but are still breezy and cool to wear….Then there is the MOST IMPORTANT FACT that they are so flattering on most body types. Since they sell in all sizes from XXS to 3X you can bet that there is a good possibility they will work for you……If you are unfamiliar with these styles I do suggest you do as I did. Read what many women have said about the SAFARI SHIRT and the BOHO SKIRT, and then decide if these styles may be for you!

…………………………….PERIWINKLE, is the first color I am presenting. This season I have done quite a few styles in Periwinkle. Let me be clear……they are ALL DIFFERENT versions of Periwinkle. None match with each other, except this shirt and skirt, but you would probably not wear the other different styles together anyway………..This is a very saturated, but SOFT color that is flattering to all. As you can tell from the photos above, I love Periwinkle with WHITE……..The white WING COLLAR SHIRT, A259103, and the LINEA LEISURE WHITE PANT, A262070/A262072, are just two options……….The WATER FALL NECKLACES, J321804, in WHITE and BLUE add just the right touch……………….February may seem a little early to be presenting such summery colors for some of you who are still digging out of the snow, but remember it’s already summer weather in many parts of the country…………………enjoy now or later……………….much Love…………………………………Louis

This shirt is a staple for me. Have it in so many colors already. Periwinkle and lime will be mine! Yellows are tricky on me so may pass on the lemon but will be envious of those that can wear it. I’m even considering the pink and I’m not a pink girl. But wow that is such a pretty pink. Thabks for the sneak peeks! Looking forward to so many of your items this season!

Am leaning towards the Periwinkle – both the Boho and Shirt. Don’t usually wear blues – but tried the Slate Blue Gauze Crepe Tunic and Gaucho Pant and loved the colour!

The other colour I am thinking about is the Lime!

Have several Summer events coming up. Decisions! Decisions!

Pretty pretty in all colors, but periwinkle has my name on it! Gorgeous colors

Louis, the Periwinkle boho may be the one that FINALLY broke down all my defenses. My body type, I have suspected, will not do well with your multi-tiered look. Somehow, though, the crinkled shirt and matching tank on top offer other possibilities. For sure, the crinkled shirt and tank; the boho, still deliberating. I continue to shrink … and think.

(If you only knew how much I have craved several colors of the boho over the years.)

It’s that Greekish blue, Goldie. Everybody always says things “call” to them, but I suspect in your case, this is really true. And nothing looks fresher with white. BTW, congrats on your retirement from the FAA. So much for you to look forward to, I’m sure. I hope they all chipped in and actually bought you a first class flight to somewhere you’ve always wanted to go.

Oh April, you just might have hit on it, the reason for my love affair with Periwinkle. It’s not exactly the Santorini blue or that of the Aegean, but there is a slight hint of that flag, isn’t there? Thank you for the congratulations. No flight to anywhere; we cannot accept any gifts or gratuities. It took me a while to understand that the entire agency is dedicated to the very important work that the Aviation Safety Inspectors (ASI) do. Because I started in what’s called a “program office,” I really did not fully comprehend until moving to a “field office,” where the rubber hits the tarmac, what work the ASIs really do. Sounds like a basic concept but it wasn’t. The agency did give me some fabulous experiences for which I am forever grateful. I’ve always been attracted to “the rebel,” and as a group, FAAers, I think, are an independent-minded group. When you think of pilots or those who maintain the aircraft, you get an image of the general personality type. I got a kick out of them.

Guess I should explain that the ASIs must have either pilot or aircraft maintenance experience to be hired. Some have both. Of course support personnel do not necessarily have to have this experience. That would be me. At one point, I was hankering after flight lessons but I knew, deep down, it wasn’t for me.

There you go! That sounds like a retirement goal to me! Maybe Louis can be persuaded to design a fabulous flight jacket – with coordinating scarf, natch – & we can all join you safely from terra firma while applauding your next accomplishment.
