“THE BLACK WK BOLERO”

…………………………….The WK BOLERO, A265614………..in BLACK……….is an ESSENTIAL….I think one of the comments I hear many times from women is…….”I need something to cover my arms”…..Is that not true?I think this Bolero is the perfect answer to that question……If you recognize this Bolero that is because this is very similar to a piece that I have done before. I felt it was time to bring it back. With all of the tanks, various sleeveless tops and dresses it is essential to own these types of garments as a little cover up. For me it really has nothing to do with whether you have firm arms or not. For me….it’s about the “LOOK” and what it adds to the outfit. Of course there is a practical side to wearing this bolero, and that’s comfort. We have all experienced going from the summer heat and entering a refrigerator like room. Even sitting in an air conditioned car can require something to cover your arms. You may live in the hottest most humid climate, but you still experience the chill of an over air conditioned environment.

The bolero is made in the ENR construction and is approx. 17 inches long…..which is a little longer than the original. It has a single button at the neck. Wear it mixed….wear it matched….wear it with separates or dresses, casual or dressed up…..it’s a piece that works with everything. Above, from left to right: The Black Bolero with the A255148 TANK….one of my most favorite pieces, and for those of you who are looking for something different in a tank, and a little more fashion forward…this is it. The color is DEEP PINK. On the bottom a BLACK WK SKIRT. You have a few choices in the WK, and two of them are A237412, and A253411. They are avail in different sizes so check them out. I love the idea of an all WK SOFT UNCONVENTIONAL SUIT. The Ivory RIBBED BOTTOM TANK, A232345 is next, and this may be one of my most popular tanks ever. It’s been reordered twice and these are the last quantities. ….Next is the same tank in Black with the ZIG ZAG SKIRT, A265559. Those of you who have tried this skirt got it home and LOVE it. Notice how the Rib bottom tank is long enough to cover the hips…..How the Black Bolero and the longer Black Tank ELONGATES…..Wearing it like this, anyone can wear this skirt successfully…all you have to do is try….you may surprise yourself. I have accessories galore that will work with this Bolero and there are just a few in the photos….The CLUSTER JET NECKLACE, J317112….the REVERSIBLE CROSS IN GUNMETAL with JET or BLACK CRYSTALS, J317110…..the 72 inch JET FACETED BEAD NECKLACE, J284043, a must have in every wardrobe….. J291538, the JET DROP EARRING, which has sold out in clear and only a few remain in the black Jet….. J291535, the BLACK JET SPACED BEAD NECKLACE….delicate with a presence…..and perfect for layering. Not shown is J291536, the BLACK JET FACETED BEAD STRETCH BRACELET….great on it’s own….doubled or mixed with other bracelets………..Also just avail. the new WATERFALL NECKLACE & EARRING SET in the BLACK, WHITE and BLUE………….and the FROSTED BEAD NECKLACES & EARRING SET in PINK and AQUA. That my friends is a whole lot of choices…………………and that’s just the tip of the iceberg!……………………………………………………………………

……………………………………………………………………enjoy………………………muck Love……………………………..Louis

I just love a bolero. Is this ENR the same as the weight in the Signature Button cardigan? That’s my favorite knit so far, and I hope we get a short sleeve signature button sweater to match the cardigan this fall. The gunmetal–absolutely amazing!

Dear Cela….yes it’s the same yarn in the same ENR construction. There aren’t any sweaters coming as you described, but thre is the A265575 in navy that will go beautifully with the navy cardigan.

Just the ideal piece to have at the ready. Would you pair this with the black sequin skirt? Might make that piece (such a favorite of mine) a bit more “casual?”

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Sure….it’s a fun mix…cotton eyelet and sequins…why not.

      1. Kate

I meant the bolero, but why not mix the eyelet with sequins!

          The bolero….perfection….not even a question….definitely!

    Dear Louis,

I’ll be getting both colors also. I adore the Every Needle Rib. Those garments hold their shape and just look expensive. Please keep making them. We know the difference. A Navy Blue in this item for the next round would be great!

Thank you for everything you do, and enjoy the weekend!

    Louis,

Will be getting both colours! Have the Reef Green from the original version – such a great piece – and I love the ENR construction!

Will this Bolero be presented during your Show on June 4th?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

That’s the plan…..but one never knows for sure.

    2. Beryl

Both for me. Just perfect for hot and humid NC. Can’t wait.

    Louis,

Thank you for bringing this little WK bolero back. I purchased it in black the first time it was released, and I wish I would have purchased the reef (green)and purple/violet color too. It is one of my favorite and most useful pieces. It’s perfect every time, and I just LOVE it! I understand that it’s a bit longer than the last version which is just fine by me…and ENR…ah, heaven! Both black and ivory for me. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

Louis, I’m so glad you posted this sneak peak! I was about to buy a linen blend black crop cardigan … with a three digit price tag! I know your ENR knit and know the quality. You just saved me money, and I can get both the black and white for less than I was about to pay.

But a linen blend knit for next summer would be wonderful!
