Hi Louis…fantastic show as always! You mentioned a “black” fish necklace returning…do you mean gunmetal or actually black (?)…and will it be the larger, single fish or the school? And, just taking another shot here, will it return in silver? Thanks and my best to you and Jac.

Dear Madam…..the sneak peek of the fish I showed is a NEW fish swimming our way in July, and it is SHINY BLACK, not Gunmetal. One eye is clear, for a black and white effect that will go with anything and the other eye is Blue. Silver is not coming back as of now, but I do plan to keep “breeding” the fish so you never know. I just don’t know if the style # of the silver fish has been “killed”. If so there will have to be some change whether the eye color is enough I don’t know.

I have a question regarding the new gauze crepe dress A288392 shown this morning. Is the Mochaccino color the same/close to/or would it blend with the linen trim on your lace jackets A223652? I don’t do sleeveless, love the dress, and thought the lace jackets may be an option for arm coverage.

Dear rae…..they really do not match…..the Mochaccino is more pink than the trims on the jackets.They are different enough that it might bother you.

Could you tell us about the beige shell that you showed on Jac with the white lace jacket A223652 in PM Style with Shawn? It is showing on QVC.com as the video for the lace jackets. That combination looked wonderful.

Dear Ruth…..It was a V-neck Whisper Knit tank in Latte, which is no longer avail. There were 4 WK styles avail in this Latte and a Dk. Tan that worked with the lace jackets. However, at this point the only thing avail is A233952 in Dk. Tan and only on xxs, xs, and sm.
Hello Louis, I sure enjoy your shows but showing that seed bead necklace hurts a lot. I wanted one so bad but at that price I hesitated and when I looked again they were gone so all I do is moan and groan when it came on today in the green. I thought I would like the black so please bring them back and remember the Linea ladies always buy more then one that’s why they go so fast.

Debby……Angela was wearing the gunmetal Palm leaf necklace and earring…..Brenda was wearing a “NEW” RUSSIAN GOLD necklace. It is actually a long necklace that she has wrapped 3 times. I call it the “ETRUSCAN” necklace. I will come with the earring she is wearing…..It will be avail in July.

Louis for next season, I would love for you 2 consider a long sleeve shirt with tiny mandarin collar, straight hem. Other than the hem, very similar to your fabulous crepe shirts that I just bought up, but in gauze fabric. Maybe with two patch pockets, A-line. I can no longer wear short sleeve tops due to side effect of my breast cancer. I buy up any of Eileen Fishers long sleeve linen button up shirts or open linen jackets for summer. I wear a tank and shirts as light jackets keep me fashionable and cool. I am in love with your deep blue Tee, but alas, can’t wear it. I see the long sleeve gauze shirts as summer jackets, beach coverups and what have you! For now, your long sleeve open front jersey jacket in muted sort of watercolor print in white/black, blue, olive, brown will be my saviors again this year. Buying your black and white gauze pants to wear with them.

LDO–is there a chance that you’ll ever do denim for us again? I still wear the denim jackets (both colors) with the little ruffled back peplum and have always hope for a slim skirt. Your denim is crazy good fabric and I would love more. I expect you’re going to have to let me down easy here…

The Q has 4 easy pays on all fashion today’ however Linea brand new was not included…So I called customer service and the new items are now included.. I picked up 3 new gauze tees and 2 of petite new gauze long pants. Glad I called much easier on my budget.

Received the gauze pant. Bought my larger of two sizes and they are pefect. Iam 5 feet 2 and the length is great with a higher heel. Going back for two more. I also received pleated skirt and top and af first I wasn’t sure and then I tried them with different pieces, moss crepe pant, lace back sweater and with a tank underneath and a higher wedge by vionic. Am keeping both pieces and ordering the chive top. As always, your pieces are so well made. My acupuncturist emailed me recently and sail i always look so put togethet and different than anyone else, where do I buy my clothes. I went in early, pulled up Linea and told her what to buy. She also is happy with her pieces.

How about a sweet message, Louis? I have never been happier with a top received from the Linea line (other than the Whisper Knit Faux Wrap Sweater that appeared during the season of the jewel colors) than I am with the “Faux de Chine 3/4 Sleeve Blouse” (A288388). Today my third blouse and skirt set arrived (in chive).
This top is great unto itself with a pant! Really, how it fits! Don’t know if the fit model for the Large was built like me or what, but the top knows how to hang on me and come in and go out where it should for the most attractive impact. Because the pale apricot will not work at all with my coloring, I am hoping you will continue to make this top in other colors, such as a deep blue, blue-red or purple. It is truly a flattering top.
I also LOVE this blouse and pleated skirt, Louis. I don’t know how it’s even possible for a pleated skirt to make me look slim, but you have worked that miracle! I’ve worn both pieces–in navy– belted, as you’ve shown it, and added navy slingback kitten heels. Wore it this week to a client meeting. I felt so elegant & pulled together. Priceless!
Grace the difference is this is a Sunburst pleat, so there is almost no fullness at the waist band. It’s all at the bottom .
Louis, now it makes sense why the pleats are so “well behaved” & flattering! I’m ordering the other two colors, which I plan to wear year round. It’s rare for me to find a skirt I like this much. Great fabric & length, too.

No they are not the same…..in the sneak peek I give style numbers for the only 2 styles that have been done in the gauze.

I see the new gauze pant A290983 is listed as having a 31-inch inseam and, my memory may be failing me, but I thought you mentioned the new pant would have a 32-inch inseam for the regular size, since a petite was also being offered. Do I have the right pant?
Dear Grace….you do have the right pant, and I don’t know why it’s 31″. I always tell them 32 and 28…..I have no answer??????

Hi Louis, having fun with new wardrobe, especially the cuffs (wore the pair of chocolate with the mocha chino dress) and pleated skirts (wore with crew knit sweater and pearls. But waiting on the WK tanks and gauze pants, but now the tees and the faux crepe de chine tops! Would love the tees in all colors. Any chance do you think that the Q will offer an introductory price on the pants or buy more save more on the tees? I know its a guess, but I am holding out ordering and don’t want to miss out like I did on the gold cuff by waiting too long….Such problems……But thank you for bringing me such joy!

Hi Louis, I just received your new crepe de chine shirt and the matching pleated skirt. I have had to change my clothing since we moved to Palm Desert and need very light weight clothes most of the year. I just had to order this set and couldn’t believe it when I opened the packages and tried them on together. The skirt if feather weight and moves like a light breeze. It is so delightful to wear on a day like today when its already 105 degrees! I don’t want anything touching my body that doesn’t have to and yet I need to look professional. I also noticed that the blouse works perfectly with my A232514 printed pants in the sienna/adobe color. I now have a 3 piece outfit I can take when I travel I was so impressed that I went back and ordered it in the chive. Since I’m a redhead, both colors will be perfect for me! I am now looking for the gauze t-shirt which looks like it, too, will be very lightweight.

louis if you type pebble crepe in qvc search bar the gauze tee comes up.In the description it says woven pebble crepe.I am hoping they are pebble.Either way,would love photos.Still stalking flowing tunics.Do they order less plus size?
Dear Donna, they are gauze not pebble crepe. I will post the pics tomorrow?…they always order on a curve. The least amounts are the 3x and the xxs, and the orders increase as it gets to med, and large.

Hello Louis, I’m just received the Aztec necklaces today. I ordered one of each then it was taking so long processing that I ordered another set worrying I would not get them and thinking I will return two. After seeing these beauties no way can I part with them. Wearing two together makes the statement.
On the black necklace the chain was broken, so if you would be so kind to list that repair address again I thank you.
The two cuffs arrived last week a gold and silver. The width and size is perfect and will really catch the sunlight.
Now for the not so good news, I ordered the black seed bead necklace just about as soon as they were posted it went into to processing and yesterday I get a letter like others saying they are trying to get more stock from the vendor? I called and talked to customer service and got a song and dance as to how they are ordered i.e. Phone, computer,. But it’s also interesting that the Aztec that I ordered last were filled and shipped first. I know this is out of your hands but only letting you know

I am on an I Pad and my bookmark is set to newest first. It is appearing on the last page and if you use the back button, the new pants and S/S top disappear. It’s not even showing on page 1 either! I went a different route, by filtering by pants.

A bit confused, are the new shells a knit like the wk but thinner, what is a jersey like ? do they have a crew neck? Have the black and cream whisper knit skirts and would love shells that would right with them! Love the aztec necklaces, already wore and received lots of compliments!
Debbie….there are three different knit constructions I use with the WK yarn, jersey [the lightest weight, a flat knit], every needle rib “ENR” which is heavier than the jersey due to the rib, and the Milano which is a double knit suitable for jackets and skirts. The classic Linea TN is in the jersey. For a “summer sweater” the jersey is the lightest, but not see through or thin.
They are like the heather grey turtle neck sweater but, with a crew necking and not heathered?
Louis, you have done it again with the Aztec necklaces! Gorgeous. I’m sad I didn’t follow my instincts and buy two of each, but c’est la vie! The cuffs are beautiful, too. I got the gunmetal, gold and chocolate. Usually I have issues with sizing on this style, but I was able to give them a little tweak (I put mine in hot water first and they squeezed closed just enough). Thanks for sharing your vision with us. At least I can leave a review for the cuffs since they are not sold out yet! I would love some hoop earrings in a coordinating style to the cuffs.

Louis could you please tell us the colors of the new pebble crepe tops that are coming? I am so disappointed because I ordered the light khaki PC tunic with pockets on clearance April 18 & now I get a letter from QVC saying they don’t think they can’t ship my order & “are working with the vendor to obtain additional stock”. I wanted to wear the light khaki with the alabaster Aztec necklace. Thanks!
Dear Julie, I do not know why they would tell you that when it simply isn’t true. You should know that when a garment is on clearance or last click….that’s the end. They NEVER reorder a clearance garment. What are they supposed to do reorder it and bring it in at the original price after it’s been on clearance? Not gonna happen. Your only slim hope is a return…….There are lots of things coming inMay, June and July you will be able to wear your necklace with. I’m sure if you look at what you have you already have at least a dozen things to wear it with.

For me, late 60’s and 70’s.
Last year we had discussed how the City has changed. In the 70’s the City was magical and exiting to work and live in. I got the impression that you love the theater as we do and you probably saw the show, Roar of the Greasepaint, Smell of the Crowd. There are two videos online, Who Can I Turn To and The Man Who Makes You Laugh (Anthony Newley). I watch these videos quite often and I thought you might enjoy them. Maybe, they will bring back some great memories. Hope everyone is well. Regards to Jac, as always. BTW, the cuffs and necklaces are beautiful but you know that.

Hi Louis, received the Hibiscus crepe top today. Love it with the Mardi Gras necklace, It looks great with the silver Palm Frond set too. It will also be perfect as a beach cover-up.
Last week the navy crepe crop pants and black seed bead necklace arrived. Will wrap them all up and then show my husband what he gave me for my birthday!

Your ponte knit pants look wonderful, yet I have a concern about the weight of the fabrication, since I moved from California to south Florida. All ponte I have tried, not yours, has been a thick and heavy knit. I’ve had to make big changes in my wardrobe as a result of the heat and humidity.

Would you please consider a pebble crepe full length simple pull on pant – straight and/or slim leg? Basic colors. I LOVE this fabric. I would get more wear from a full length pant. Work. Dinner. Travel. After reading reviews of the two crop pants, some ladies have expressed this also. Maybe it would seem boring for you as a designer to do something so simple but the way this fabric performs, the way it drapes, would finish off the look with all of my many pebble crepe tops. I have eight tops in my closet and will add more as you offer them. I hope you continue this fabric into the fall/winter season with dark colors. Your April collection – clothes and jewelry – were over the top!
Not simple at all….I have to have bottoms to show with the tops as you need bottoms to wear with your tops.
Black pants in a long length would be big sellers, along with navy. I have the original long pants you sold in white and burple, but the black ones I have are a size too big cuz that’s all there were. I’m sure the Linea Ladies would snap up a new pair of long pants in any color! I think I have every piece of pebble crepe you’ve made. I especially love the long skirt cut on the bias in both black and white. so flattering! I’ve scored many great pieces on ebay, but there’s not much left there these days.

As with the seed beads, Aztec gone bye bye in both colors. And no one seems inclined to return their Mardi Gras.
I guess we’ll have to wait now till fall for more new (other than the one piece you have next month)?
Hopefully I will have a piece or two for July. The orders haven’t been written yet so I hope we can meet the delivery?

I received my 3 pattern tees yesterday ..This is my most favorite pattern you have ever done! These will be work horses in my wardrobe. We go out to dinner and a show or out to dinner and a movie usually twice a week. this tee under one of my new cardigans is perfect for show. They keep the theater freezing. Also our restaurants are freezing …So I get so much use from your cardigans. This fabric on these tees is delicious. I love the feel against my skin. Your fabrics are always special !!!!! Tricia

There are not words to describe the beauty of the aztec necklaces. I purchased both. These are more beautiful than jewelry I have purchased at Neimas…They took my breath away. I have dozens of other jewels of yours but these are beyond words..I have a ton of clothes coming yet that I got last time you were on. 3 t’s, 2 specials from Q2, 2 more of the flowers skirts. 1 tank pink to go with that special. You showed it together. We are truly blessed to have you available to all of us out here in the land of watch your pennies. It is a big help for me when you work with the models . I have spent this AM doing some purging from my closet to make room …Nothing of yours though. I am still wearing clothes I bought when you first came to the Q. Everything still looks new, I am careful on washing and hanging to dry. Do not use dryer. I am retired. I was an 8 in my early years then blossomed into a plus at that age that happens and found nothing to wear. Then you came along and you are a dream come true for a plus size woman. The compliments I get wearing your fashions make me feel as beautiful as when I was that size 8… I love it when I look in my mirror…There are not words to express my thanks to you for sharing your talent with me….I’m sure it does not make sense when I say seeing Jac wearing these clothes is soooooo helpful in trying to decide what to purchase. A few weeks ago, QVC2 had these 14k gold twist hoop earrings as a Big Deal. As soon as I saw them, I was reminded of the twisted gold pieces in the Mardi Gras necklace. I purchased them in gold at the Big Deal price. They are small, but for me, they are the perfect size to go with a bold necklace. I love them with the necklace. Maybe you could reproduce them in your beautiful fashion jewelry as a matching piece to the necklace, but perhaps in the same size tubing as the necklace.

I thought they were perfect too! But I was only able to snare one pair in a sandy beige color and would love to have black and navy – nothing fancy. They wear like iron and launder beautifully if tumbled on low for a few minutes, snapped, shaped, and hung to to dry. Cool as a cucumber for a long pant!

Just want to tell you how much I’m loving the new jewelry items I purchased. Started with the seed bead necklace in black. Per your advice, I went back for another color. After much thought I decided to go for the lime. It arrived yesterday and it is divine! As much as I wanted the tangerine, the two I have will have to do. You broke my budget this month and next! Lol. Maybe these will be reordered once again. If not, I’m sure you’ll be bringing us something just as fabulous.
I also received the Aztec in alabaster and absolutely love it; the brown barrel bead necklace which I was unsure of but it is a wow, love the crackle; two cuffs in chocolate and gunmetal.

Unfortunately “Fashion” jewelry as a category encompasses almost all jewelry sold today, and so much of it is just junk, made in the cheapest materials, and in a massed production set up. We hand pick the factories that make each piece. Factories that specialize in pearls, metal, beads etc etc. They all have a specialty. Frankly, I am amazed they are willing to make my jewelry because we are very demanding, and the quantities are not big. If I were to sell the exact same jewelry to a Bloomingdales or Saks the prices would be double.
Louis…I missed out getting your Madi Gras necklace but was fortunate to get your new black seed bead necklace. It’s beautiful. Thank you for creating such a striking piece of jewelry. Hopefully the powers that be will allow you to bring this back in more colors.
Loving the new pleated skirt! Bought in navy and it’s so light and cool but also terribly chic when worn with a sweater and slingbacks. I know some were concerned that the pleats aren’t stitched down at the top, but not being done so is what gives this such movement and ease. And, because you’re a genius, it makes me look taller and thinner than I deserve.
Will wear this for years to come. Going back for a second color.
Dear Kate….the nature of a “Sunburst” pleated skirt is there are no pleats at the waist band. They disappear. All the fullness is at the bottom like a fan, so there is nothing to stitch down. That’s why a Sunburst is so slimming.
I received mine too in navy. As a size L I can vouch that this skirt works miracles! Thank you!!

Dear Clothes horse…..this are all interesting combinations, but the white jacket is too white to wear with the ivory dress….with the alabaster I don’t see why not, but your own judgement will tell you when you have them on. I’d try it with white or alabaster pants first. I no longer have the pinstripe pant so you will have to see if the navy colors work and if it doesn’t clash.It may very well look fine.

My first piece from you was the Pebble Crepe Sleeveless Safari Tunic in a pale green (can’t recall the QVC name, possibly light olive) which I ordered in March of 2011. I wasn’t sure what to expect, but I fell in love with this piece, with pebble crepe, the safari clothes that you design and your entire line. It’s amazing how fresh and current the tunic looks today! Your epaulets are always done so well and give the classic look a special touch. I’m happy to see them back in this season! I just wanted to chime in with appreciation, and I am very proud of being a “Linea Lady”!

Love all the new clothing and jewelry. The black seed bead necklace is fabulous as are the Aztec necklaces. Love the mandarin collar tunic and the boat neck tunics as well. Have not received the two tee’s (A290933) yet but I think the solid would be fabulous in a ton of solid colors as you mentioned. I have purchased at least two of every new item. They are all extraordinary!

This is a shot in the dark, but, is there any hope of another articulated fish necklace? There’s been some buzz on the forum because a few popped up for sale. I’d love to see articulated fish on a smaller scale than what has been offered thus far and maybe in a style similar to the dingle dangle necklace.

MadameD…..We actually are showing the buyers 2 new colors for the fish pendant, but that’s a secret……if you remember when i first showed the gold fish there were smaller versions as earrings….that size was an AK necklace as the dingle dangle. To make that kind of necklace with the fish would be very expensive…..more then the long ‘School of Fish” necklace which was made with the smaller fish.
With the new gold zippers and snaps, and my orange watch, I need the gold fish!

New metal colors….I don’t know if I can bring the old ones back. Definitely not the gold because the accidentally put it on clearance, and of course it sold out in minutes. Once it’s on clearance they can’t bring it back at full price.

I received #263353 Ombred Tunic in Alabaster today and it is gorgeous! Thank you for telling us that it’s not really alabaster (a color that didn’t look good on me) which gave me the incentive to order it. A nice surprise is that the lightest tone in the tunic is very close to the color of #287617 Stand Collar Tunic in the Linen color. These tops with black pants and the black seed bead necklace are extremely chic. You’re the best!

I also received the Ombre Tunic in Alabaster today and tried it on with the alabaster pant and seed bead necklace in black/gunmetal. Stunningly beautiful. What a great season of Linea this has turned out to be… Every day is like Christmas with more and more packages being delivered! I’m loving everything I’ve ordered.

Jacqui….I show them every season to the buyers, but they haven’t bought them….You should look at the demi hoop….it’s on clearance and the only color avail is the gunmetal…….It’s the perfect go with everything chubby little hoop
I wore the tangerine seedbead necklace with the orange striped swing tee A227743 today and got loads of compliments. I really love that tee, and the seedbead really set it off.
Dear Lynn……it sounds PERFECT to me. I’m surprised the colors on the white didn’t take off like the whit stripe on black. When summer rools around the white tees are going to feel very cool, because there is literally very little dye…..The white is just the natural cotton…..while the black is all dye.
I agree about the colors. I got all three! Don’t understand why others didn’t grab them up. The style is very slimming ( and I am a large). I live in Houston and it is already in the 80’s and it is a light cotton that is comfy even in this weather. Hope everyone takes a second look. And,as I said, the seedbeads look great with them if you want a dressier look!

Tell Ruth it was a top that came out the first time you showed the lace jacket. It came in 3 colors and I still have them after all these years. Wear them constantley and they still look brand new. That’s Linea for you

I just received the alabaster Aztec necklace. Fast wasn’t it? It’s absolutely magnificent. The sneak peaks and the models wearing it does not do it justice. I have just ordered the black and left reviews on the Linea blog and on the item site. I’m sure it will be sold out quickly.

Hi Louis, I loved seeing so much of you and your lovely clothing designs yesterday. I feel like I saw someone wearing what looked like a natural linen shell or tank or top of some sort. I think it was with natural linen pants that you said were vintage. Sorry to be so vague but I can’t stop thinking about it and wonder if you can tell me what it was. Hope your house painting is commencing and progressing.
I found in a video that Kate wore it under the raspberry button front shirt with pocket in the show with Courtney Cason. I’m wondering if it’s coming in the future. I liked the necklace too.

Hi Ruth, I think the pants and top you are referring to are A226258, Louis’ herringbone faux linen pants in Stone (from 2012), and A224278, the sleeveless scoopneck tank in Natural (also from 2012 thru 2015). They did look great with the Raspberry shirt.

The tank and pant are vintage Linea. I sometimes like to show the ladies that own these pieces that may be a few years old hoe to rejuvenate them! The “INDIA PENDANT” hopefully will be coming for fall.

Oh boy! I’m jumping in here to say how happy I am to hear about the pendant. I was eying it during the show and replayed that part a couple of times to admire and wonder about that pendant. I hope this becomes a definite, and not just a maybe!
You did a printed black and alabaster shell and draped front jacket about the same time (also did in pink and black). It was inspired by pieces from your AK collection. Remember those? Anyway, the black and alabaster set is divine with the new Aztec bead necklaces (I bought both colors of them). As someone said, that’s Linea for you. Five year old pieces updated and look fresh and new.

I received two of three seed bead necklaces I ordered–they are exquisite!! I can’t wait to wear them. Now that the necklace has sold out again in record time, do you think QVC might do another reorder? And, if so, would they reconsider the matching cuff? Or, just the cuff? Now that we’ve all seen it, we can’t get it out of our minds!

Dear Grace….the budget for my jewelry is so limited that I never know what they will buy. Certainly the Seed Bead necklaces should be reordered, but then so should the Trapeze, and Mardi Gras, and the cuffs…..and the,Fallingleaves etc etc, but I do have the cuffs ready for my next meeting.
Louis, thank you for the update on the cuff! Encouraging to hear. We appreciate what you’re up against on the budget issues & the many popular soldout pieces. Is there anything we can do–email QVC, etc.–to advocate and express our interest in the cuff? Even if they did a limited number, they’d sell out for sure. So many of us on the forum rave about that cuff every time we see it in any of your shows. I think even a QVC host or two has asked about it…Anyway, keeping fingers crossed.
