Please do more in the bright pink that Jac picked out for the reorder georgette shirt and tank. That color is a beauty and much more suitable for winter! The reorder of the whisper knit tank and long cardigan would be lovely in Jan’s bright pink!
In the reorder of the ponte knit (32 inch inseam) pants we need a dark olive and khaki!
I hope and pray you can bring us a straight leg ponte pants like A282511 with a 32 inch inseam. The 30 inch inseam is too short for many of us that want to wear a heel or boots with! Please, please, please!
Judy…..I think it’s interesting that you think the bright pink, Jac’s pink, is a winter color…..I could certainly see it in a cashmere sweater, but I think of it as more of a summer color.

Dear daineb…..I can answer that question in one word……NO……….Jac and I happened to be in the local Macy’s and they had a very small out post of Anne Klein. It literally made me sick to see what Anne Klein has become. There’s no integrity behind the line….it’s just more STUFF. Anne must be rolling over in her grave to see what’s become of her name sake line…..It’s just another corporation take over destroying everything that was good about the brand for $$$$$> It will turn around and bite them in the butt. The same thing is going to happen with DKNY Donna must be reeling….of course she has enough money to over come it!
Hi, Louis, You are asking for color suggestions. My only suggestions would be a navy safari shirt and boho skirt. You may have done these a long time ago, but I didn’t see them. I got the dark chocolate shirt and skirt, and I love them. Your navy is so nice, I would like to see it in those pieces.
Another thing I am wondering about is–I have two pieces in the pebble crepe that have rayon in them, and I find that anything with rayon wrinkles. I know you said the moss crepe did not sell well, but to me it is superior to the pebble crepe because it has polyester rather than rayon. Would you do anything new in the moss crepe or a similar fabric? Thanks, as always. Have a lovely holiday. Eileen

My sea glass necklace was shipped this AM. I can’t wait for it’s arrival as most of my closet will go with it. I love all your jewelry but I know this one will be my favorite and will be worn constantly…Now I need to make a decision on the next special coming up. Of course the blue one is a no brainer. also the pink one. But like that apricot and have clothes that it will go with. I believe this has been your best season yet. These tops this year are the best. I wear them casualy all the time. You are a gift to all of us ladies looking for well made and beautiful clothes and are no longer in the small size dept. The compliments just keep rolling in even though my size is no longer an 8. Again a big thank you . How you can make the same clothes look great on all sizes is a gift that is for sure!!!!!!
Louis, I am SO loving the mint and lilac tunic A276293 and have had fun playing with these pieces. The mint with the floral tiered maxi skirts A224713 and this years floral boho. And the lilac is giving new life to the two purple bohos of yore – one pale, one deeper purple. I LOVE the mint with aqua mist stand collar A287617, as well as the aqua mist peplum A287610. The aqua flecked sleeveless tank A224278 is also nice with all Aqua mist pieces. These are among my favorite summer colors so I’ve only just BEGUN to play 🙂 Further the sleeveless wing collar in coral is also good with the coral floral tiered maxi and this year’s florals. Thank you for a glorious spring line-up including the mardi gras necklace, the stunner long seed bead necklace (black), the aztecs, the beach glass set, and the cuff which I was lucky to get in gunmetal and in silver. Yes the Robin’s Egg blue tunic with the two aqua mist tops Nancy mentions is awesome. I wore it with LDO’s pewter slacks, the aqua mist crepe stand collar tunic and the blue mist pearls. I thought it looked good and so did others at the office who stopped in mid-sentence to tell me. First time that happened! Now I’ll have to checkout the flecked tank. It has been a spectacular Linea Spring season!

There’s only 11 left now!
The Q’s ‘System’ allows you to put 5 of an Item into your Cart at a time. You can do this only 9 times. So the most Items you can have in your Cart are 45. So in that case you would only know that there’s at least 45 of an Item but you do not know how many more than 45 there are.
But if there are less than 45 – the ‘System’ will show a note in Red that the Item is Sold Out.
In the case of the Beach Glass Necklace – the ‘System’ allowed me to put 35 Necklaces (I placed 5 Necklaces into my Cart 7 times) into my Cart before it told me it was Sold Out.
And – PLEASE DO NOT FORGET TO IMMEDIATELY EMPTY YOUR CART!

Do you think a tank will be needed under the new white pebble crepe top? I prefer the original white pebble crepe tunic with something underneath, but the fit of this one is different, so I’m not sure.
Since you are having a jewelry show, does that mean that more than the typical number of styles have been ordered for the season?

If you needed a tank under the other white pebble crepe then you will want one under this too. Jac just wears her Coobie [sp] bra in nude and is comfortable with that, but everyone has their own comfort level…….Yes they have purchased a few more styles, but the quantities aren’t huge……this show On QVC2 is a test to see how well a show of all jewelry does.
Will the Mardi Gras Multi layer necklace be back in gold tone? Will it be also made in silver tone?J335211 Thank you
Dear Rose…..those are two good questions…..unfortunately I have no answers for you. It will be up to QVC and the buyers, and that decision won’t be for months. They usually wait 3 to 4 months to see the return % and then they will make up their minds. However even if the returns are low that’s no guarantee. It all has to do with budget and where they place their $$$$$.As far as I’m concerned no one has sold jewelry the way Linea has, and it all deserves to be reordered.

Louis I had no idea you have a ONE HOUR JEWELRY show scheduled on August 25 at 6pm. Good thing one of the ladies mentioned it on the boards after my comment (again) about wanting a Linea jewelry show! I’ve been so focused on the seaglass necklace set that I haven’t had a chance to look at your show schedules. This is so exciting!

We just got back from our first trip to NYC. I took some notes that you made to Jackie earlier for her trip. We had a fun fabulous time, ride in Central Park, Freedom Tour (our son works in the building) Ellis Island and fabulous lunch at The Boathouse just to name few. Now we are back in Wisconsin waiting for the rain to stop so I can plant flowers.

Thanks so much for the new faux crepe de chine items. I was thrilled to see the beautiful Faux de Chine Pleated Pull-On Skirts (A288389). I love that fabric and I love a pleated skirt.
Now, for a couple of questions. Will the Adobe color skirt work with the WK Nutmeg tops (oversized sweater–A257356, tank–A237404, and draped front cardigan–A257376)? Also, will the Chive skirt work with the Bright Olive WK Oversized Sweater (A257356)? I figured that the Moss color Faux Silk pieces (tunic–A251589 & pants–A251590) probably would not work with the new Chive faux Crepe de Chine pieces. Am I right?
I always try to work new pieces with existing ones I already have in my collection.

Yes, there is a Big Deal coming in July….the date has actually changed so I have to update my web site…..the new dates are the 27th and 28th, Thursday and Friday instead of Weds and Thursday.
Done and noted…I must mention that I purchased all four of the new crepe gauze dresses and the big surprise and the one I hesitated about is the IVORY. It is by far my favorite and totally elegant. It didn’t read that well on TV, but in person it is amazing. Thanks!
The Ivory is my favorite too. When I first designed the dress Ivory was the color I envisioned it in. It is so ethereal. I call the dress in Ivory…….”White Mischief”…….a terrific movie too.

There is a discussion about whether or not we would buy matching scarves for our sweaters on the forum (under “Fashion”), and I wrote that your line was bringing in new scarves. I don’t know if they will be matching, but you had once mentioned that we will (might?) be getting a new round of Whisper Knit scarves. Am I correct?
Just received wk tanks. They are wonderful, beautiful weight and feel. Bought larger of my two sizes and they are perfect. The blue blends perfectly with the zigzag “Missoni” skirt from a few years ago. Going back for another black and ivory. Thank you.

Yesterday I wore both the white Gauze Pants and 3/4-sleeve Faux de Chine top with the Mardi Gras necklace and goldtone hoop earrings. I got lots of compliments on everything. One friend went crazy over the necklace, saying, “That is so me; I’ve got to have it.” I explained it is currently sold out, and she’s determined to haunt QVC until they get more in. (By the way, I’ll post that comment on Linea Forum.) I love the color of the top; hope you made more items in that color. I think that will be one of my go-to outfits this summer.

Hi Louis, I am looking at the new white gauze top with chiffon trim. Do I need to wear something under it. I have the new white gauze short sleeve top and it is fine, but your pictures look like maybe a little sheer. Also I may be in between sizes, should I stay with my normal size or go up?

Dear Debbie…..the crepe gauze isn’t as heavy as the gauze, and not quite as opaque as the white gauze. Jac tried it on with her nude “plain” bra, and she was very comfortable with how it looked……..Size is another question. I don’t really know how to answer you, because sleeveless tops are trickier. I would suggest reading all the reviews and compare the measurements with sleeveless tops you own that fit well.
Louis ,would it be possible to ask if A276293 could be made with 3/4 sleeves seems like its a hot seller,ladies all love this gem. If not that’s ok you still have plenty to whet my whistle! Thanks Judy

I just spent time going back through your old sneak peeks trying to determine which of my pieces are gauze and which are crepe gauze. While I like the gauze, I absolutely LOVE the crepe gauze. I hope we will be seeing more items in this fabulous fabric.
I also own and enjoy pieces in the older crushed gauze. Of course, the light weight gauze knit drape front cardigans from a few years ago are staples in my summer wardrobe. You also made a kimono in an interesting texture gauze which is very nice, as well.
Please keep bringing us more gauze, especially the crepe gauze!

If I count all the styles that should be reordered that would be her entire spring buy. The Mardi Gras, the Seed Bead,the Aztec wood beads, the Trapeze, the Cuff are just starters….The falling leaves should have been reordered too……The seed bead cuff is definitely on the top of the list.I would need her to double her budget which isn’t going to happen.
Louis – If I were your Buyer – I would do just that – these Items will ALL SELL OUT – and not sit in inventory tying up valuable $$$.

Is there any way we can help increase your budget? Say the word and many, if not all of us will rush to oblige! I read on the Wen forum that Chaz Dean gets specific “credits” for his on air sales. Evidently those made other than his specific air time do not apply. Apparently these “credits” affect his show times and inventory picked up by QVC. Does anything like this apply to you? I know, as it currently stands, would be difficult for many with the limited quanity and sizes in for example, pants. I for one, will support you in any way…just wondering if there is something better for you that we can support.

Dear Rochelle…..I appreciate you wanting to help! The things that make TPTB at QVC stand up and notice are sales and LOUD voices, The fact that the last 5 or 6 jewelry items have completely sold out in a matter of days makes them stand up and notice. When there is less inventory monies open up. The constant demand by all of you on the forum and letters asking for more jewelry items and shows can only bring to their attention that the demand is out there. Numbers count so if there are many letters they will notice…..if there are only a handful that won’t help. I do have to say for the fall season they are purchasing a few more styles then last year, but some beauties were omitted due to budget, not because they didn’t like them.

Chalk is opaque, while moonstone has a translucent look, so the end result would be quite different, both would be pretty.
Louis, I would love to see the necklace in your dark navy with the gold oblongs — that would be a wow. One never sees jewelry in that color.

I see the tank with chiffon bottom has posted new colors: pale lilac, robin eggs blue, white. Will these match any upcoming pebble crepe tops? I am trying to decide which additional colors to buy and it makes a difference if they coordinate to something in the future.
Louis, I just received the white gauze pants and they are fantastic! I would like to have ordered more pairs of the white but, of course, they are sold out. Is there any chance that they will be back in stock soon? Somehow I doubt it because I know you have to plan things way in advance. In any case, I was lucky enough to order the black today. I just would have liked more of the white as I would like to wear them often this summer. Thank you for the beautiful clothing you design for us with the attention to detail that you properly describe in your presentations. Dear Cathy, I would love to say yes, but unfortunately the answer is no. If they should be reordered it won’t be back until next spring/summer. The good thing is they do wash well and don’t take long to dry.

I scooped up one of each color. And while I know there are differing opinions about sweater length, I’m 5’6″ and love the higher hip length. Perfect under blazers and jackets, and so flattering worn alone. Jac looks fabulous in the photo she posted on her Facebook page!

Louis, a few months ago I wrote telling you my husband and I were gong to visit New York City for the first time and you responded with joyful encouragements and a few ideas for me. Well NYC is a long way from my Wisconsin farm but this girl found NYC a place like no other and etched in my memory forever. With Linea in my suitcase, off we went. We took a few of your suggestions, including lunch at the boathouse in Central Park. The costumes and set for Hello Dolly were indescribably colorful and fabulous does not describe the performance by Bette Mitler. We ended up staying at the Casablanca hotel near Times Square. A perfect small boutique hotel in our price range. I walked in some button, bead,and trim stores in the garment district. My first visit to Bergdorf was not to disappoint and as suggested, the 7th floor home decor had items that made me say “ooooo and ahhhhhhh,. And, we have been all over Manhattan and have braved and conquered the subway, How does anyone get anywhere on time in NYC? There are people EVERYWHERE! And restaurants? Well… back to Nutrisystem when I return. All people have been very nice, contrary from the reputation one hears. There will be a next time visit.

I just received the alabaster ombre top. This color iteration was my first venture into this tunic. I thought the alabaster version was very unique looking. You really are a master designer. I loved the fact that the darkest color skimmed over the fattest part of a woman’s hip. Needless to say the top is very slimming. It looks lovely with my Linea slim ankle pants in black. I also own multiples of the Linea slim ankle pant in Lt. Khaki – also a perfect match. Thank you.

Louis I just got my mochacchino gauze dress and I am pleased as punch! I thought being busty the top would be tight but the dress fits perfectly and I must say it shows off the curves very nicely without being tight I ordered my regular size xl ordering the ivory now and the pleated skirt in navy….luv it! I haven’t worn a pleated skirt since I was younger and oh my is this slimming for real I need the chive too can’t seem to resist anything in the green family. The aztec necklace in alabaster is too beautiful and special for words I wanted the black too but at least I got the alabaster. I also received my hi lo knit top in white and buttercup looking forward to wearing these when the weather warms up. I am waiting for the gauze tee in white I didn’t get the pants because I already have linen pants and skirts from many years ago that still look new that I wear. Only the mochacchino and ivory colors are left in that gorgeous dress and probably very limited to air in future shows.
As you guessed the quantities are too low for the dress to be aired again.

I know you have said on multiple occasions that the Linea (A267882) whisper knit short sleeve top has been reordered in alabaster. I stalked the alabaster sweater and was successful. I am also interested in the black version of this sweater. Is the black version coming back this fall also? This sweater is a wonderful style and so versatile.

Louis, I just received the Petite Gauze Full Length Pant. I ordered it in black 2x and the fit in the torso is spot on. I will leave a 5-star review. However, I want to let you know that there may be a discrepancy between the click-here length and the actual length of the pant I received. The item page online says the length for the petite should be 28″ which is my preferred length for flats. I’m 5’8″. When I tried on the pair I received they were very long – so long that I can’t even wear a heal and not have them brush the floor. I measured the inseam on my pair and the inseam length is 30″. I will, of course, keep these and hem them. If I have this problem with my height, there may be a number of shorter ladies having an issue with the garment length. I’d hate to have the pant not qualify for a reorder because of returns due to a variance in manufacture on some pairs yet have your buyers inaccurately attribute it to a style or fit issue.

Louis I had no idea that the Y-bar was reordered in new colors hematite and shiny black are showing “waitlist” that’s fantastic. I am anxiously waiting to pick up my goodies from the past couple of shows at the post office but in the meantime since the weather has been so cool here in NYC I am getting a lot of wear out of my trench coats.
is the “shiny black” different from the black one I already own? Also, does anyone know if the “hematite” is the same as the gunmetal? Thanks everyone.
Fairfax….the Y-Bar was never offered in Shiny Black….only the Trapeze necklace. It’s new, and Gunmetal and Hematite are the same.
and the long Station Bar necklace to go with the Y-Bar will also be in all the colors. they look fantastic together.
I am anxiously waiting for the long station bar necklace as soon as I saw it on the model with the y-bar I knew I had to have it. They looked fantastic together!

Jac has a large gauze wrap/shawl that she wears with sleeveless tops and dresses. She also has a gauze boucle shrug I did years ago for Linea.
Mmmm.. if the dress is reordered, I wonder if you could offer a matching gauze shawl? Food for thought! 😉

Will there be a re-order on the black embroidered baseball jacket. I’ve been checking at QVC and so far an XL and a S have appeared. I usually wear a M in your jackets, particularly when they are made of non-stretch fabric. I hesitate to try the S since comments are that it fits true to size.

I received the latest Talbots catalogue. I smiled when I saw a page devoted to Seed Bead Jewelry, touting “all the more covetable from Japenese seed beads (the best quality out there).” There’s more – they showed the “Mardi Gras Twist Necklace”. How’s that for irony? It was 20 inches long,Windsor blue/turquoise/rhodium color blocked necklace. It cannot hold a candle to your magnificent collection. You are always in the forefront of fashion and all things beautiful!
I received the mint green ‘big deal’ and the petite gauze crepe pants in royal blue. The pants look great with the bluebell tops (tee and safari L/S shirt). I will need the pants altered a little because they are measuring at 28.5″

A very happy Linea Lady here, Louis. My “Petite Gauze Full-Length Pant” and “Gauze Tee” in Royal Blue just arrived. I excitedly tried them on, anxious to see if they both fit successfully and flatteringly. Yesss! Not since the Feather Jersey pant have I tried for a pant from Linea, so it has been a very long time for me to shout with this sort of joy.
Very nice look for someone who is not really the best ambassador for pants. Of course the “column of color” helps me immensely. Thank you for your designs. As someone explained the other day on TV, it is exhilarating when the more mature woman finds clothing that expresses her fashion sense but is in tune with the changes that have taken place in her body as well as her desire to have some zest and currency in her wardrobe. You do that for me and so many others.
I have a question about A262034. It’s not going on clearance and is down to S which I always wear in your clothes. My concern is the chest measurement: 37. Chest measurements on your S are often larger. I’m a 36D but have a small build; narrow shoulders, short arms.
Also I’m very long waisted,can’t wear petites. Fit and flare dresses are so hard to find. Should I take a chance on the dress?
I would give it a try . It’s a Ponte knit, but it’s not overly stretchy. It doesn’t matter where your real waist is with this dress. Just look at the silhouette on you.

Louis may have a different answer for you. I own the latte whisper knit v neck tank. It does match the trim on my yellow lace jacket. I wear it with Lt khaki slim ankle pants. Reason I purchased was that Louis showed that tank with yellow lace and Lt khaki slim ankle pants. The tank was already limited last summer so it is probably gone. Try looking for it on EBay.

Hi, Louis during your shows Jac has worn the milano whisper knit pencil skirt several times, you referred to the color as “white”. It looks white on my screen. I have this skirt in the red, black , pink and ivory colors. Is there a white color coming or was the skirt Jac was wearing the ivory color. Thanks

Gunmetal is a grey metal…..Shiny Black is BLACK. The school of fish necklace is a discontinued item. No silver as of now, but there could be in the future.

I do not know if you have noticed. Your super ponte regular straight leg pants(A282511) as well as your super ponte petite straight leg pants(A217618) in black are all of a sudden a big hit. They are almost all sold out at full price in black. Please bring them back in black as well as gray or navy. I own both lengths in the black as well as espresso. They are so flattering, slimming and look sensational with my suit jackets. I just love the fact they have no pockets. I like these so much better than the boot cut. Clearly it took them awhile to catch on fire. Again sensational pants!!
I loved your shows yesterday. I had never seen those cute dresses presented previously I purchased the navy to check size. After I receive I probably will go back for the fern and spice. Great traveling dresses.
