FYI – The Antoinette Bell/Flutter Sleeve Blouse A294604 has a Special Offer on Q today –

Order one of this item at the current price and get $3.00 off each additional quantity.

If anyone has already ordered more than one – I suggest you call Q’s Customer Service and request a Credit.

    1. Chris S.

The hooded tunic has buy more save $4 today. I ordered three of the new colors last week. I just called to ask for the price adjustment, but they wouldn’t give it to me. Customer service said it was the policy that the order had to be placed the same day of the promotion. Must be a new policy because they’ve given me the credit in the past.

      1. Chris S.

I just called back and a different customer service rep gave me the credit without a problem. It pays to be persistent!

  2. Katie

The new mock swing sweater is showing on line. Louis, should we get the same size last years swing sweaters, or because it is closed should we go up? Thank you.

  3. Ann

Louis – I agree with Jane. I love all your turtlenecks (I got every color), but would really like a cardigan to match them all. I love all your cardigans as long as they cover the rear! Looking forward to all your shows.

  4. Jane J.

Louis, Received all my sleeveless turtleneck Whisper Knits (bought all colors) and I love them. The fit is great (I always size down in WK) and the armholes fit perfectly. I haven’t measured them to compare, but I think this turtleneck seems longer than that in the regular turtleneck and I like it. I love this weight of ENR, even more so than the WK jersey. It has just an elegant feel to it. I had asked previously about more WK items in the pale celadon and I know you said that none were planned right now. I hope that changes because I would really like just a regular cardigan or open-front sweater (no asymmetrical, no swing, no tunic length) in this color to make a set. Thank you for the beautiful sweaters.

  5. Debra

    Dear Louis,
Thank you for your many helpful replies, so greatly appreciated.

I ordered the new Antoinette blouse in a size small (not sure when it will ship) but in trying to compare the size guide to the Whisper Knit shell, in which I wear an XS, I am not sure which size would be best. As you have mentioned, the Antoinette blouse has lots of flounce and stretch. Therefore, should I be ordering the blouse in the same size as the Whisper Knit shell (which also is stretchy)?

The neckline on the shell is fabulous, but sadly, mostly sold out. I was only able to get it in the Black and White and the only color left is Black.

I look forward to your reply on the Antoinette blouse as I would like to get the correct size and two colors before they sell out — as your many styles do.

I am sorry to hear about QVC being behind the fashions. Michael Kors, Victoria Beckham and many other designers (way out of my price range) are showing the pinstripes, mixed plaids, and Prince of Wales glen plaid.

I look forward to your advise for ordering (I hate losing so much each time I get the size wrong and return) the Antoinette blouse.

    Best and Thanks,
    Debra

      1. Debra

        thank you!

  6. Romy

Hello Louis, Your new Antoinette blouse reminds me of a222272. It’s an older blouse of yours in a floral print with a similar bell sleeve. I was curious if the sleeves and fit of the two blouses would be similar? Also is the white fabric at all see through in this blouse? Thanks kindly, Romy

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Romy…..the sleeves are similar, but the bodies are very different in shape. The new one has more shape than the older one. The fabric is stretch. I di not think the ivory is see through, or QVC wouldn’t permit. It has a good weight, and feels expensive.

      1. Romy

Thank you very much, I ordered the black and the ivory and can’t wait to receive them!

  7. Marla Reames

I am really getting excited and impatient for the jewelry show. So my question is about your Aug. 24, at 9:00 p.m. show. First it states you will have the Big Deal. So is this show on QVC Live or QVC2 live and will the Big Deal be jewelry or clothes? Then on Aug. 25 at 6:00 is on QVC2 Live, correct? Then at 8:00p.m. you are on QVC2 Live Is the last show clothes again or clothes and jewelry? I hope there are others who are confused. I would hate to waste your time for just me. I am waiting for all the clothes I ordered from your last show!!! They are wonderful, Mr. Dell’olio. My closet is 99% Linea. I just love your designs. Keep up the fantastic work, please.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Marla this should clear it up, First all shows are LIVE, not pre-recorder.
      1-August 24th, 4:00pm Carolyn’s Closet regular QVC station
      2-August 24th, 9:00pm QVC2
      3-August 25th, 6:00pm QVC2 ALL JEWELRY
      4-August 25th, 8:00pm QVC2 all apparel
I hope this clears it up for you…..remember they are all LIVE presentations.

      1. Marla Reames

        Yes thank you so much.

  8. Dulwich

Love the Antoinette bell sleeve blouse but 10% spandex!! Not comfortable to wear – why such a high percentage? Love your clothes but please no more 10% spandex blouses.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

You don’t even feel the spandex because it is not a heavy fabric, so the 10% isn’t like a heavy cotton knit where you feel the 10% more. I hope this makes sense.

  9. Seka

FYI – The Bell Sleeve Antoinette Blouse A294604 is posted – again – on Q!

    1. Sylvia Pickich

With a picture this time 😉 I’m still liking the pink!

    2. Judy M

      Thanks Seka

    3. Joanne

      They pulled it again.

      1. Seka

        IT’s there! Just checked!

  10. Debra

    Dear Louis,
Since you seem to be graciously answering questions today, thought I would add a couple 🙂

What is the length on the midi dresses? I am concerned about the wide scoop, but again, that is just my circumstance.

Are there other midi skirts coming? If so, in what fabrics? I am a huge fan of your rayon span from past seasons. Longer lengths are everywhere.

Also, menswear is big. Although, I have loved gray flannel, houndstooth, glen plaid, and pinstripes since the 80’s. As all of that is coming back (along with shoulder pads, which I will skip), do you have any type of menswear patterns coming? QVC may not consider that generic so not sure what the buyers would do.

I love the classic looks and my closet is mostly Linea.

    thanks,
    Debra

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra…..I don’t have the measurements for lengths…….If my V-necks and scoop necks have been a concern in the past….this too would be a concern. No other long skirts except the WK later in the fall. I too believe strong in menswear and menswear fabrics. I presented them but none were chosen from me. They are always a season or two behind. I have a beautiful blazer and pant coming in Jan.? but it’s solid. My pinstripe blazer and pant were beautiful, great fabric and fit but only did fair. The blazer may still be around on “last clicks”……LOL

  11. Seka

Louis, if you have the samples of the New Leather/Knit Jacket – would you Sneak Peek during one of your upcoming Shows this week. Please.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I probably won’t get my samples of the leather jacket until the end of Sept.

      1. Seka

Thank you, Louis. Am excited to see what the Style of this Jacket is – the Colours are all fantastic – will be hard to choose!

  12. Goldie76

Interesting comment this morning by a poster on QVC’s “Community Chat” forum. It is favorable to the Linea line, as the poster perceives the line as attracting younger customers, which all of us applaud. We want the line to endure. Long live Linea!

    Here is the post:

“This board has turned into a forum for seniors [ New ]
    Options
    ‎08-01-2017 08:36 AM”

Not complaining, I’m one of them. But I’ve noticed over the past couple years that there are very few women still working or even stay at home moms that are posting. Speak up and prove me wrong, we need all ages on here. The only exception I’ve noticed is the Linea board.

    1. Goldie76

Sloppily did not copy my closing quotes. They should have been placed after “board.”

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

QVC’s target audience is women over 50. This has been their main draw audience. The evening shows are geared for women below that age.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Maybe, but I think it’s the same women watching the day shows as the evening…..You aren’t getting many 20 or 30 year old women watching QVC in the evening……at least I don’t know any.

  13. Goldie76

It’s very clear. This year of Linea Port and Wine is going to be one long binge. I’m already inebriated from the Port turtleneck and am looking forward to the Port midi dress. And that Dark Cherry cardigan looks like another vinous shade. A new Wine leather and knit jacket, too. This is going to my head.

  14. LeefromMinnesota

Just received another TN (A72448) this time in the new Heather Blue — I think I must have 6 or 7 other colors. The heather blue is stunning, love it and the quality remains stellar as usual.

Louis, if I may be so bold, I know you’ve said that you wear these TNs in black and I think you need the heather blue in your closet too!!

  15. Ginny

    Hi Louis,
Today I received the pull on ponte knit pant in winter white. All I can say is oh my! The fabric is unbelievable and the color is beautiful. I hope the q reorders the colors that are currently sold out in my size. I would buy them all!
Thank you for bringing such beautiful garments that are high quality and well made.

    1. Seka

      Ginny, That is great news!

This Pant A268216 is my favourite! Have multiples in Black! This go around – I ordered the Wine – and took a chance on the Winter White (not yet received). I don’t usually wear White for Bottoms – but Louis commented during his presentation that they are unlined (which the Q usually insists on lining all White Pants) and have absolutely no see-through!

      1. Ginny

Hi Seka, there is absolutely no see through. The winter white is beautiful. A true white. There is no yellow tone to it.

  16. diane228

Louis- First of all belated happy birthday wishes. As to the Antoinette blouse
do you think the fit is similar to this years hi-low peplum jacket? And as to
the MUCH anticipated jewelry show do you have any info as to whether QVC will be
offering any EZ pays on items? It would help since I want everything! Thanks
for your beautiful designs. So far this year you’ve really topped yourself.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Diane I wouldn’t compare the two……you should buy tour normal woven blouse size. The peplum you are referring to is a knit so it apples to oranges. I have zero news on the jewelry show.

  17. Seka

Louis, Woul you please let us know the colours of the Leather/Knit Jacket that’s coming in October.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      …………..BLACK……………WINE……………..ALABASTER……and they all look beautiful.

      1. Seka

Louis, Fall and Winter have always been my favourite seasons for Clothing! Not having seen the Jacket as yet – I know I’m going to LOVE the style!

But the Colours! ALABASTER! Oh my! And Wine! I recently ordered the Wine Ponte Pants and the Port T-Neck! And it’s still JULY! And Black is always on my List.

So it looks like I’m saying – I will want them ALL!

      2. Pat Hill

What style will the new jacket be? I am hoping for a blazer style rather than a moto.

  18. Joanne

    Hi Louis
    Two questions:
I assume at 5’3″ I should purchase the petite version of the new moss crepe dress. I intend to wear high black boots with the dress.
I own the espresso brown pants. May I assume on the mink version of your new sweater that the tab color is dark brown.
    Thanks

    1. Seka

Joanne – FYI – if you click on the photo – it will enlarge it so you can see the details. For the Mink Sweater – the Tab colour is a Dark Brown.

      1. Joanne

Thanks Seka! Always great to save Louis’s time.

  19. Ruth

Dear Louis, The new Moss Crepe Midi Dress looks lovely. I prefer my skirt length to be closer to my knee these days. I’m 5’7 ” tall. Would the silhouette still be appealing if my seamstress shortened the bottom to my knee length? Would ordering the petite work or would the sleeves be too short? Thanks in advance for your advice.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I would get the regular for sleeve length and have it shortened…It will look good.

      1. Ruth

Thank you for your expert advice.

  20. Ginny

    Good Morning Louis,
My olive ponte pants that were wait listed have shipped. Are you going to be offering anything in olive this Fall?
    Thanks, Ginny

  21. Marie

Louis, belated Birthday wishes! Remembered you on the 23rd, but didn’t get a chance to send a greeting. Wishing you many blessings. Classicms

  22. Barbara C.

    Dear Louis,
My husband took me to a lovely restaurant to celebrate my birthday this evening and I wore the A288392 gauze dress in ivory and J329550 frosted bead necklace and earrings in pink. I received two very nice compliments on my outfit!
I’m loving the port midi dress you just previewed and wonder if the plum motto jacket will work nicely with this dress? Thank you, Louis.

  23. Michelle

    Louis —

I love the look of the new midi dress paired with last season’s moto jacket. Which prompts me to ask….will you be showing a new leather jacket this Fall?

Looking forward to this week’s shows. Good luck!

    — Michelle

      1. Michelle

That’s wonderful news! I’ll be waiting patiently (ok, maybe a little impatiently) for a sneak peek of the new jacket.

Thanks, as always, for taking the time to answer all of our fashion questions.

  24. TrishM

    Hi Louis!
I have, and love, a sleeveless swing midi dress in feather jersey, A255151 (it was a “wood block” print I think ).
Is the style in the new midi dress the same, just with sleeves?
    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Not really….that dress was more fitted and had much more flare at the bottom. I wouldn’t even call that dress a midi dress. This one is much longer. The scoop is similar.

  25. Kathy/Wis

    Dear Louis
Here is another story of compliments about your jewelry. My husband and I were at a Blooze Krooze with our classic Mercedes Benz today. I wasn’t there ten minutes before a lady said where oh where did you get that jewelry?? It is just gorgeous! I wish I could be your granddaughter to inherit it. I’ve just never seen anything like that.
With my blonde hair I was wearing your brown walking shorts, sleeveless turquoise feather jersey top with the single fish necklace and the school of fish necklace, gold wire cuff and your gold watch. I thanked her and told her it came from a designer in Connecticut.
What fun you have provided for us Linea Ladies!
Thank you for all the beautiful things you have designed for us.

    1. Kate

“A designer in CT!” Good one.

      1. julie

        Good one indeed!

  26. Alicia Hughes

    Dear Louis,
I am a devoted Linea fan, and I’m so excited about the new midi dress, A294711! I was wondering if you could tell me how the color “port” is different from your “aubergine”. I have your aubergine tights, and I’m hoping I could wear them with the port dress. Can hardly wait to purchase the dress!

    Thank you!
    Alicia

  27. Seka

Louis, Have tried to post this 3 times now – and for some reason it disappears.

Loved Jac in the Adobe Pleated Skirt (have this Skirt and the matching Shirt) with the Wine/Port Turtleneck! This colour combination looked fantastic!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Seka….sorry you are having trouble…..I was undecided whether to show the port sweater with the adobe or the chive….they both looked great. Unfortunately, the wine boots a ordered never showed up so I had to use what was in the models room. Thankfully the color of the suede mule was pretty good..

      1. Seka

Thanks Louis – I also have the Chive and the Navy Sets! Have already ordered the Port T-Neck!

P.S. My earlier difficulties seem to have disappeared!

  28. CR

Thank you for saying to think of the umber super ponte knit pants as dark camel. That description “clicked” for me! I’m now finding many more items to wear with this color.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear CR…it really is a great neutral color, but it’s not bland at all and really works well with all autumn colors plus white and ivory. If your not afraid to mix some colors you will find it works with a lot. especially prints. I have a beautiful one coming in Sept. that will look awesome with the dk umber!

      1. WNYGAL/APRIL

Those umber pants are great. Those who can’t work their heads around “umber” might also think “chestnut”. What autumn colors don’t look well with that?

      2. CR

Thank you! I’ll be watching for the new print in September!

  29. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Hi Louis, Can you twll us when we might anticipate the new colors of the ENR swing turtleneck to be available?
    Late fall? Winter?

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Thank you Louis. This kind of info and help means a lot to me. Thanks for taking the time to reply.

  30. Chris S.

Will either style of the crepe gauze cardigans work over the moss crepe dresses? I’m wondering both in terms of style and fabric, I have short arms, so the sleeves of the cardigans hit me just at the wrist.

I’ve received so many compliments on clothes from your spring/summer collection. I’ve enjoyed wearing every piece I purchased. I felt cool, comfortable, and covered!

I can tell already this going to be another stunning season!

    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris…..my immediate answer is yes….BUT……I know you are petite so it become more about ATTITUDE, and if you “think” you can carry it off. I think with the right attitude women can wear almost anything. For example the icon Iris A……She is a short tiny women with a huge attitude who wears everything and anything, and looks great. On someone else they would be drowned. A boot with a heel will give you height and a column effect. I think the all black will work best.

  31. Debra

    Dear Louis,

I too am so frustrated! This is showing as sold out and cannot be ordered. Louis, when is this blouse supposed to air? A294604 I realize that you have many shows coming up.

I see that you just put up this post today, so hoping that you can shed some light on this. For my modest dressing needs for work, this looks like it would be a workhorse with pencil skirts.

many thanks in advance for your reply,
    Debra

  32. By the C

Taking the chance on asking again in case it was missed and not ignored–are the snaps on some colors of A279520 gold please? I know the lighter blue and black have silvertone snaps.. Anyone know about navy and the other new colors please? Thanks in advance.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The red, forest green and ivory definitely have gold. The navy has silver, and I believe the wine has silver too, but I’m not 100% sure.

      1. By the C

        Great, ordered. Thanks so much.

  33. Suzy

    Hi Louis!

Question about the beautiful Antionette blouse. In Linea clothing I’m in between sizes small and medium. I had to go with the small in the fabulous engineered print tunic. What size would you recommend in Antionette? I am cruising from Barcelona to Venice and many Linea pieces are going too.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Suzy…you’re asking me to tell you what size you should get without seeing you. I hope you realize this is a 50/50 guess. From what you have said I would say small

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I presented sketches of a long sunburst, but since the short one did only fair and is already on clearance, I strongly doubt it. The biggest trend skirt in the fashion world isn’t on QVC?

      1. WNYGAL/APRIL

        Seriously.

  34. Mimi

Good morning Louis. Loved your shows, as usual. You seemed a little off but who wouldn’t! It can’t be easy, I bought the Big Deal in all the colors and 4 other tops. I’m also considering ordering more of the seamless leggings (I only have about 12 pairs, long and 8 pairs crop) ….. I Don’t think anyone has asked you this but will you eventually be making the wk long sleeve turtleneck in celadon? I don’t remember you presenting that color before. Am I mistaken? I did see the new colors. I’m going to order a few more of the turtlenecks for my husband. Thanks for reminding me. Stay well and regards to Jac. She remains a figure of class and dignity. A real trouper. Hope the girls are doing well.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mimi…..sorry I gave the impression I was off. The first night with Sharon was in a small studio that’s called the annex. It was miserable in there HOT & HUMID. Though Sharon was a delight and I was happy that, at 5’2″ she tried everything on, and besides a sleeve length adjustment, I thought everything looked great on her. The second night with Rachel was in another set in the warehouse, another hot and humid place, but I enjoyed Rachel very much and thought she looked great in the sleeveless TN. I know when the show was over she ordered a few colors because she liked it so much.

      1. Mimi

Glad you’re ok! Will you be making the long sleeve wk turtleneck in celadon? Obviously, it won’t be for this season but if the sleeveless turtleneck does well in celadon, please think about it. I’ve been with you since your first show on QVC, I don’t remember that color ever being presented. Thanks.

  35. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Louis, Can you tell us when you anticipate the new colors of the ENR swing turtleneck to be available? Just budgeting ahead.

  36. Donna Aflague

    Hi Louis,
You mentioned last night that you have lots coming in wine. Should I grab the wine ponte knit pant now in anticipation of tops to come or will there be more wine pants? By the way,I have never owned turtlenecks…until now. Bought several last night.
    Thanks,
    Donna from California

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Donna, get the wine pants now, they will not be more later……it’s now or never.

      1. Goldie76

Louis, did I dream that this pant came in the petite length in wine? I have a faint memory of looking at it (wine, petite length) and not acting on it immediately.

        1. louis dell'olio

No, the boot cut pant does not come in a petite. I am however discussing adding a petite length for 2018, but nothing is final about that.I know there has been discussion about the petite lengths……I do not dictate the lengths to QVC. They have their own standards that were developed by their fit department. If anyone has length problems, please don’t come to me. As I said,it is not my decision. No matter what length they make the pants some will be happy and some not.

          1. Goldie76

Oh, Louis, I don’t want to make you think I’m steaming over this. Just wondered if I had seen the pant or not in petite wine.

I understand that you cannot get a variety of lengths in every pant, every time. I can imagine it is very frustrating for you. You do all you can for us, and it is very much appreciated.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Goldie….Did I give you the impression I thought you were steaming? I think I know you better then that. Your question was very reasonable and I think I may have mentioned petites may happen at some point in the future. I just want everyone to know I do not make fit or sizing or length decisions. My staff can only suggest, but QVC is writing the check, and they make the final decisions. That said, it was my idea to do the boot cut at 32 inches and they agreed. The reason behind this is I can’t stand any flare or boot cut pant style that is too short. Slim pants are another story and you can get away with shorter lengths, but a boot cut must touch the top of the shoe. Remember Lisa Robertson’s boot cut pants. She took it to the extreme and looked like her feet were cut off. I think a little bit of the foot must show, even if it’s just the platform of the shoe.

            2. Goldie76

Thank you for your gentle response, Louis. I thought maybe you were thinking I was angry at being denied the wine. Not happy, but I’m not angry.

And yes, I do remember Miss R’s pant bottoms cutting off her feet. I trust your instincts; you are the best. And I mean that.

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

Goldie…..my philosophy is “better too long than too short”, and since I could only offer one length I chose to go longer……Hopefully in 2018 we will have better options.

          2. Ruth

Dear Louis, I totally agree that too long is better than too short – whether sleeves, pant legs or hem length. Something can usually be shortened but rarely lengthened. Everyone should find a good tailor or seamstress and enjoy the benefit of adjusting the way a garment fits to perfection.

  37. designista

Do all of your Winter White garments match? I went a little nuts yesterday and ordered the Hammered Button coat, boot cut pants and sleeveless turtleneck in the Winter White. I have that coat in both the black and red, and the long sleeve turtle neck in the Winter White from last year. If all the colors match, all I need is the socks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I honestly don’t know! I just received my samples and haven’t had the time to compare the different garments. I will say that the same color standard was given for each item, but that is no guarantee. Even from thenapproved lab dip to the production there can be a difference. I’m always more surprised when they match, because the likely hood is they won’t

      1. designista

I guess I’ll find out! THANK YOU!

        1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

designista, that sounds like a gorgeous ensemble. Very reminiscent of the outfit Jennifer Lopez wears in “Maid in Manhattan”. Although that outfit probably cost a few grand more (Dolce & Gabbana?), I think it has nothing up on your plan.

          1. designista

I’m guilty of rushing to order in my excitement. I should have waited to learn if the whites match, but the vision was so strong in my mind’s eye.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Not to sure which two garments you are talking about?

  38. Hudson Valley Nancy

Thank you Louis for another wonderful selection of clothing, I purchased every color of sleeveless turtlenecks and added anything possible that I don’t own in your pant collection. Tried to get a 2nd back-up of the black slim pant to no avail. Was wonderfully surprised to get the new black and tan woven straight leg pant. I also own the other colors with matching jackets, but so glad to just have the pants in the new colors. Missed out a few years back on your pin striped jackets, wish I had that in navy, but do you have anything planned for a two-piece set? The most wonderful part of your collection I think is how everything blends so well together, what an upscale, classy wardrobe we Linea ladies have!
If I had told my hubby that I was watching “Louie” in years past he would have thought it had something to do with handbags, but you are my new Louie! Obsessed…… Thank you…..

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy, on my QVC2 show last night I was talking about how Classic clothes are coming back. For me they never left, but all the “fashion” attention has been on mish mash colors and pattern, with lots of frou. Everything runs its’ course, and you will see more and more suits (blazers) coming back. Sharon mentioned in their style meetings that one of the strong directions coming next year are blazer/pant suits. I told them that last year!! Anyway….if you look at your fashion magazines you will notice more blazers in all kinds of fabrics. I am happy to say I will have a beautiful blazer pant suit this coming Jan.

      1. Hudson Valley Nancy

Thank you, Louie, excited about January! Know it will be spectacular!

  39. Ruth

    Dear Louis,
    Great show on QVC2!
I discovered something interesting by watching your presentation of your trench coat. I bought your trench coat in black last August and I love it. On each shoulder of my trench coat there is a button and a fabric loop. I always wondered about their purpose. During your presentation, I saw that an epaulet is supposed to be attached to the button, fed through that loop and attached again to the button. My coat is missing those epaulets! I see you’ve been able to get new buckles. Is there any chance you could get two black epaulets for me?
    Thanks so much,
    Ruth

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ruth…that would be impossible as they are made with the coat. The buckles are a “finding”, and are easier to get if the factory has a few extras.

      1. Ruth

        Okay. Thank you anyway.

The Whisper Knit Swing Tank is showing a shipping charge of $7.72 as of Thursday afternoon. I questioned this on the Linea forum and Melvin from Customer Service said he would try to change it but to ask for it to be reduced to $3.00 if you order the tank before they lower the shipping charge.

  41. JBCinSD

Hi, Louis, The green of your new pants in ivy has always been one of my favorite colors. I have the ombre tunic in celedon. Are other pieces coming in the color ivy? Hope so.

  42. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I just received an email canceling your 8/3 show at 4:00 a.m. on QVC Live. Is this a mistake? Lately I have been receiving mistake emails about cancellations and there is no cancellation.

  43. Ruth

I have looked at the video of the swing tank under the open front cardigan and it looks great. As always, the master is right!

  44. Bebe

Salutations Louis! I received the turquoise and alabaster sleeveless swing tank and love them! I had asked about a cardigan in an earlier asking if you could make the former color block cardigan in solid colors of perfectly pink, navy, alabaster and now want to add that turquoise color to that group. It is such a beautiful color. Thanks so much for your beautiful designs. I just love my Linea clothing!

    1. Bebe

Oh my, I forgot to add Desert Sand to that group too Louis! Love that color also!

  45. Ruth

Hi Louis, Thanks for responding to my thoughts on the swing tank. I will read more reviews and look at videos of how you’ve styled it because maybe I’ve misjudged it.
Can it be worn under the swing cardigan? (which I love and have in several colors)That’s where I thought it would be too bulky and the cardigan would bunch up on it.
I’m looking forward to your shows. Break a leg!

    1. Ann

Ruth – I bought the swing tanks to wear under cardigans. I do not and will not wear a sleeveless garment. That being said, I buy every Linea sleeveless to wear under my Linea cardigans. The swing tanks are great as are the sleeveless wing collar blouses. I will order the sleeveless turtlenecks to add to my mix and match collection. Louis could you please make more cardigans to match the sleeveless turtlenecks. That and one ( or two) of your fabulous necklaces is my 7Fall/Winter uniform!

  46. Diamondscribe

Louis, I love the sunset color in the sleeveless tank. It is such a beautiful seasonless orange. I’d like to put in a vote for this color as a swing cardigan. Will it be coming in anything else or was it a one-time color?

    1. Teri

Please give us sunset in something that is not swing. I am long waisted and can’t use it. Oklahoma State’s “deepest orange” needs this! By the way, that particular orange makes me look tan and healthy, and I wear cool colors.

    2. Beth

I too love your sunset color, it so vibrant, a perfect shade of orange. I would also like to put in a vote for this color in the swing cardigan or any other version of your swing sweater!

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

As of now it’s a one time color. Since it didn’t sell well, I doubt they will be enthusiastic about repeating it.

      1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, do you think it was the color that didn’t sell well – or the fact that the color was in a sleeveless top? I looked and it doesn’t seem that sunset was the ONLY color to not sell out (an indication of a singularly unpopular color). I’ve noticed that items without sleeves seem to not sell as strongly across all lines as items with some sleeve.I thank you for continuing to try for at least one sleeveless option every summer for those of us in tropical temps. And, I sure like that orange!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Deborah……I don’t think it was the color, and I would hope out of the millions of customers QVC has that there are enough to support the sale of sleeveless items! Frankly I have no answer why this style didn’t sell better since tanks sell and the swing body has been hugely successful.

          1. Ruth

            Hi Louis,
I thought I’d share my thoughts on the swing tank in case others have the same thoughts and it would give some insight into why it didn’t sell as well as other items.
I use a sleeveless garment to layer under something else. I want the shape to have enough girth at the bottom to ease over my hips and tummy but not have so much fabric that it would add bulk to the area. I also want the fabric to be smooth and silky enough to allow the top layer to not get hung up on the under layer. I had concerns that the WK swing tank would be a problem in both of the aforementioned areas. For me, your crepe gauze asymmetrical tank and your crepe gauze tank with chiffon border are perfect for my purposes and I bought them in almost every color. If they return in other colors, I’m, sure I’ll buy more.
I hope these thoughts might be helpful.

            1. Sylvia Pickich

I bought the sunset and the turquoise swing tanks. I like to wear leggings, and I want my bottom to be covered! I was planning to get at least the black also, although I like the look of the alabaster head to toe. The swing tank was one of the new items that I was the most excited about, but, I was also excited about the composition jacket, which I wore to work yesterday and LOVE, and the printed pullover tunic. Maybe the swing tanks didn’t sell as well, because there were so many new things that people had to budget and decide what they wanted the most? AND, the picture of it on QVC is not good! They might sell better if the picture was flattering and accessorized. I love your blog! That is what I rely on the most, and the presentations. Thank goodness for all the Linea Ladies on the QVC blog, and this site. They have helped me immeasurably!

            2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ruth…..I appreciate your thoughts. The reasons I decided to do a tank with the swing bottom in WK were because my tanks sell very well and reorder, all of the swing WK styles have done well and all have reordered, so I thought it would be a natural to combine the two…….I also love the swing tank over things like TN, tee shirts, jewel necks and shirts like the wing collar shirt, so it’s a style that can easily transition into the fall and winter.

          2. Romy

Hi Louis, I absolutely love the swing whisper knit tanks and I usually do not really care for sleeveless. I wear them under things but not typically by themselves. However, these particular tanks I actually would wear by themselves. They cling to nothing and just skim the body. I don’t notice any excess bulk anywhere and the armholes fit me perfect. My guess for why they haven’t sold yet is because we are in the middle of a very hot July summer. I imagined that they would be heavier then they are so I wouldn’t have purchased these yet if it wasn’t for you tempting me with the dyed to match tanks to the seed beads. I am so happy I did though. I actually bought more colors. The alabaster looks perfect under the alabaster swing cardigan which until now I didn’t have a matching tank for. I think if you re-show them under sweaters for the fall they will definitely sell out.

            1. Joanne

              HI
I purchased my sleeveless swing tanks in alabaster and black. The alabaster swing tank with the alabaster slim ankle pants and my gold jewelry with heels is an elegant outfit for evening wear. Yesterday for work I wore the the swing tank with my alabaster short sleeve sweater underneath so I would have sleeves and my alabaster slim ankle pants with a pair of bone Fly London shoes – also a great outfit for work in the summer.

          3. Jane J.

Hi Louis, I have the swing sweaters with sleeves in many of the colors. I have your tanks in all of the styles that have been offered. So, I enthusiastically ordered this sleeveless swing tank in all colors. When I tried it on there was just something “off” on me — maybe too much fabric on the bottom and without the sleeves not enough fabric on the top. It was just a strange look on me. I tried it, waited a few days and tried again just to be sure, but this just didn’t work for me. I loved all the colors including the sunset.

          4. Rochelle

            Dear Louis,
Just my two cents on the sleeveless WK swing sweater… I suspect it’s the length that may be holding back the sales on this gorgeous tunic. Many petite ladies have expressed concern that it’ll be too long. (On this and other Linea tops too.) I chime in at barely 5’2″ and purchased all four colors and let me tell you how svelte I look in them!!! And trust me, I would never refer to myself as “svelte.” I look longer and leaner in this style and it was a total “wow!” when I first tried these on. Truly! The sunset orange literally took my breath away. The alabaster is classically rich and very chic. It’s very edgy paired with the matching pant in an Avant garde sort of way. Also with the matching pant it’s very sanguine, perfect for a hot summer event. Add a hat and it makes me think… Gatsby. (would love to see a short WK, or possibly another fabrication, skirt to add to the alabaster suite, pretty please!) The black tunic, to me gives a classic look with a spin, exceptionally smart with a skirt. And the turquoise, well what’s not to love… I own many pieces in your wonderful, ever so flattering turquoise and Aqua garments and every one pleases me in so many ways. This was totally a given!

Another feature I noticed is if one has anything to hide from the upper waist or low midriff down including tummy, hips upper thighs or tush, this is a piece to consider. The ease and drape gives a smooth, very sleek, line that’ll hide secrets beneath. Like Goldie says, “smoke and mirrors.” Absolutely clean, crisp, sleek without any unflattering bulk to scare some of the shorter gals away. This, btw, is just about fingertip length on me in my usual XS size.

So, perhaps a shorter model to allow many to see how well it looks on and what they’re missing. Because many are missing a wonderful opportunity to own this A+ garment!

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Rochelle, if this were the very first swing sweater I could understand some trepidation, but this is the 4th or 5th swing sweater and they are all the same length, so it leaves me scratching my head.

  47. Karen in WA

Are the port in the WK T-neck and the wine in ponte pants a match?

  48. Mimi

Hi Louis. Did QVC re order A267864, your V Neck Cardigan? I ordered the xs last year in 2 colors but I had to return them because I needed the xxs. Thought I would get a jump on the sweater as soon as it came out. Again, looking forward to The Big Deal. Thank you as always.

  49. Beth

I am looking forward to your shows tomorrow. I was wondering if the new color Port is close to Blackberry. I have your turtleneck(A72448)in Blackberry which I love. I was wondering if I purchased the turtleneck in port that might be too close in color to Blackberry. Thank you for any information.

  50. DiAnne

Are the port in the WK T-neck and the wine in ponte pants a match?

    Thanks

  51. Shari

    Louis

Guess I missed out on the winter white trousers. All Q shows is the gauze.Won’t work for Fall/Winter.
Hope I find some THIS year. I’ve been looking for a nice dressy pair of winter white trousers for more than 3 years now.
Winter white goes so well with the pastels of the whisper knits.
Looks so crisp and clean. Kinda icy, even if it is 94* and humid here.
    I’m ready for Fall!!!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Shari…..the Super Ponte pant A268216 is now avail in the winter white and it’s fabulous.

    2. Shari

      Found them!! Ordered.
      Thank you

  52. Eileen Holden

Hi, Louis, I am counting the hours until you are on QVC2 tomorrow night. I think those sleeveless turtlenecks will sell out immediately. Do you think you will have more colors later in the season?

I am almost embarrassed to ask you this–I have the black trenchcoat, and I cracked the belt buckle. You were so nice to send me the buckles, but they were for the sleeves, not the belt. Do you think you could send the belt buckle, as I can’t find one here in Savannah. My address is Eileen Holden, 2 Breakfast Court, Savannah, GA 31411. Let me know the shipping.

By the way, I LOVE that trenchcoat and just took it on a trip to Scandanavia. Perfect. I have gotten a lot of compliments on it. Thanks as always for your tireless efforts for all of us. Eileen

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I will ask, but since we are not reordering the coat I don’t know if they will have any, but it doesn’t hurt to ask.

      1. Njft217@aol.com

Hi Eileen – I caught the belt of my trench in the door of a taxi, and the buckle cracked. I took it off completely and now tie the belt. It looks great this way, and I realized that’s what I usually do with my trenches anyway. Don’t you love this coat? (I have the olive and navy – both are great,)

Louis, any new coats coming in the Fall?

      2. Eileen Holden

Thanks, Louis. You are such a kind, thoughtful person. All your fans appreciate all you do. Eileen

  53. Judy

Hello Louis, I still wishing for a 32 inch super ponte pants in olive and an oversized, long shirttail hemmed boyfriend shirt in your wonderful shirt fabric! I’m sure many would be interested in the shirt to wear over our leggings and skinny legged pants and jeans. 🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏🙏. I will keep an eye out for these, in case you decide to bring them to us. 😘😘😘😘😘 Much love!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I can’t remember, but I think somewhere down the road the boot cut pant is coming in olive. The shirt is another story. I have been sketching that shirt for a long time, but “they ” keep passing it. I think with all the JR big shirts they don’t want any competition……just a guess.

  54. By the C

Color of snaps please anyone on snap front hoodie (A279520) new colors? Many thanks in advance.

  55. Goldie76

My, my, Louis. The disappointment I experienced at missing out on the Espresso Whisper Knit (WK) turtleneck has been transformed by the arrival of the WK turtleneck in Port. I am absolutely mad about this Port! It would be wonderful if more garments — in Whisper Knit — were dipped in this shade. Any possibility of that? The shade is slightly similar to the Bordeaux (I think that is what you called it) of yesteryear, but I prefer the slight difference the Port offers.

If you are a Linea Lady who favors wine, bordeaux, burgundy, etc., hues, you should be mighty pleased by the Port. Umm umm.

      1. Goldie76

        Good news!!!

  56. Judy M

Good Afternoon Louis ,a quick question? I ordered the color block cardigan A267883 in the currant will the new super ponte knit pant in wine be ok with this cardi? Thanks in advance

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy I just donated those cardigans so I can’t check for you…..sorry.

  57. Chris S.

New colors for A279520 Linea Leisure Snap Front Hoodie are available to order.

    1. By the C

Wow, wine looks great. Thanks for navy! XO

  58. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, is it the A268216 ponte pants only in the new colors? You wrote super ponte which is A282511 in the regular and A285547 in the petite. Will there be new colors in the super ponte? I love that petite pant. I can’t do the A268216 regular ponte as they are not only way too long in the leg but I have to roll over the waist once at top to raise the stride enough. So, if there is any chance of these new colors coming in the super ponte, I’d love to know and will add those to my “must have” list.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Deborah……Actually, both pants are made in the Super Ponte fabric. I have been trying to have QVC correct that for months. The pant that always gets reordered is the A268216, not the one you want. It just didn’t make the cut. I see there are still lots of brown avail. This I don’t understand since I only did the brown because so many asked for it. I guess that number wasn’t enough to make a dent in the brown inventory…….so no reorder. I am PUSHING to have them order the A268216 in petites for 2018, but it’s not possible for this year.

      1. Ruth

Dear Louis, The pant I love is the A282511 Super Ponte Straight Leg Pants. If it came back in gray and navy, I would by them.

        1. Joanne

I agree Ruth. I like the Super Ponte Straight Leg Pants better than the boot cut. The black are all sold out. I think they made those pants too short in the petite and regular. Instead of 27 Petite and 30 Regular. It should have been 28 Petite and 32 Regular.

          1. Judy

I agree with Joanne. I also prefer a straight leg pant and was so excited when Louis told us these were coming. I ordered 3 pair of each, the black and the brown. I just knew I was set in my favorite pants for a few years. When I put them on I wanted to cry. The fit was perfect except they were just too short! With so much sadness I had to send all 6 pair back. Please make us a straight leg pant out of this wonderful super ponte that is at least 32 inches! I know you can’t bring the same pants back in a longer length. I know you can change something, maybe add a slit in the leg, anything just a straight leg super ponte pant with a 32 inch inseam! Thank you

            1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

I add my vote to Judy’s – straight leg in this wonderful ponte – only also in 28″ petite. The idea of a bit of a slit in the leg hem is a nice idea also. I will order the wine in the new regular boot ponte = and pay to hem them – but it would be nice to have petites in both straight and boot cut styles. Thank you for encouraging the buyer to order petites in these wardrobe essentials.

            2. Louis Dell'Olio

The straight leg, which came in petites, isn’t being reordered.

            3. Joanne

I also purchased multiples in the straight leg ponte in both regular and petite. The straight leg pants are so slimming. At 5’3″ I wear the petite when I wear my Fly London’s or flat boots. When I wear heels I wear the regular ponte straight leg pant.

      2. WNYGAL/APRIL

Well, I bought the espresso. I wanted that perfect match with the espresso swing T-neck, & that’s what I got. And I’m thrilled to hear that the boot cuts are coming in olive, as that was one of my requests. Those boot cut super pontes are my favorite pants, next to my Levis, and honestly, I have more pairs of them now.

  59. Ann

Louis – Can you layer the Indian Tunic over the sleeveless turtleneck or anything else for the Fall?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Anne……absolutely! For instance….I can easily see the black TN under the alabaster print, and a black cardigan or even a black vest over that so you don’t cover the print too much. These T necks were meant to be worn alone, and to be worn for layering. The colors are easy enough that you can wear them under many fall things…..shirts, sweaters, jackets of all kinds….You just have to play with the colors and accessories to pull it together…DO NOT BE AFRAID OF MIXING COLORS…..You may think the celadon is limited but it is not. Wear it under the grey or camel or even the blackberry Shetland v-neck sweaters….I could come up with a zillion combinations, and I know you could too….It’s time to play!

      1. Ann

I can’t wait to get them all. Then I’ll have to wait for your Jewelry show in August ad then I can really play!

  60. MadameDuFiffers

    Hi Louis,

My apologies if this has been asked and answered a dozen times previously, but will there be any silver jewelry (new or reorder) coming in August? Thanks.

    Madame

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, the Etruscan necklace and earring set will be in silver as well as the matching bracelet. The new station bar necklace and the returning Y-Bar pendant will both be in silver and the cuff is coming back in silver but that’s later in the season.

  61. Marla Reames

Will the Q be reordering the trouser socks in all colors? I need to restock!!!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Marla….the really only came in black….but they will also be coming as sets in wine and winter white to work back to the Ponte Boot Cut pant or mixed with other color pants like navy and grey. I believe they are due in October.

      1. Marla Reames

I just placed my order. Will black be restocked? I need for myself and gifts. Thank you for all your lovely designs and colors. uWs4

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I’m not sure what you’re referring to, but if it’s the hoodie……yes, black is back and should be listed.

  62. Goldie76

Louis, will the stock of the Whisper Knit turtleneck in Espresso be replenished, or was it an color offered last year and this is the end of the line? I don’t remember.

My size of Large is out in Espresso.

  63. luvitorleaveit

Thanks for the heads up I just ordered the winter white and wine ponte pant that I have been waiting for now I have all the colors so far. I figure now I will need all the colors of the sleeveless turtleneck to wear with my sweater coats, cardigans and the long cardigans I brought as well.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

…………..and blazers and jean jackets and suede and leather jackets, and shirts and blouses too!

  64. Shari

    Louis
Any grey or winter white trousers coming for Fall/Winter?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shari…..the Super Ponte pant is now avail in winter white….It’s a great pant and fabulous in white…..no lining necessary and absolutely no see through…..A273303 is a trouser avail in grey. It has been reordered and is now avail in black and tan. This pant will be on my up coming QVC2 shows.

      1. Judy

I can’t find the winter white Super Ponte pants, only the black and umber are available now!

          1. Judy

Thank you so much. I just ordered 2 winter white and 1 wine (I think it was named).
