Louis,
All 10 of the items I ordered from the show just arrived. I only had time to try on one piece so I chose the black floral blouse. I don’t usually wear prints (boho floral multis an exception) but I fell in love with the print. It’s truly a work of art. I LOVE it and the fabric is marvelous. You are a true genius.
Hope Jac is feeling better.
Love ya,
Beryl
Beryl, I just wrote pretty much the same thing to “By the C,” below. Fabulous blouse! And I am not a lady who, generally speaking, wears largish flowers on a garment. Just love it, though. Reminds me of the superb floral crinkles from this past summer collection — vaguely, but emitting the same “chic pheromones.” Just made that up, but Louis’s prints do have hypnotic powers.
Dear Beryl….I’m so happy you like the floral blouse. It is a beautiful print. It will brighten up your winter months!
Louis – Thank you again for your wonderful designs. Your shows and designs are always a cut above the rest. I got you whisper knit pants, tunic and turtleneck, all in port. In addition I ordered your black print blouse and wing collar shirt. I also ordered 2 stretch print shirts. The patterns remind me of Missoni. I now need the reefer coat in port. Are these coats completely straight from the shoulder, or do they have some ease in the hip? Thanks again for everything you do for us!
Dear Ann…..they aren’t straight at all. They are Reefer coats which in today’s world means a blazer type coat. They definitely have a shape
Dear Louis,
I am so glad that I could order my new items in advance of your show so that I didn’t miss both midi skirts. Once again, so much of your items sold out, so do hope that my sizing will work as exchanges won’t be possible.
The new reefer coat looks amazing. Obviously, Port has become a real power color for this season for many of your regulars. In addition to Navy, have you chosen other key colors for Winter/Spring 2018? Do you consider the new reefer jacket outerwear or to tie together separate pieces? Are there other longer wear blazer styles coming or does the duster fulfill the look? Now that the midi skirt sold so well, as well as the jewelry, hopefully, the buyers will be more cooperative. Also, with the socks on waitlist in all colors, will there be any other hosiery items coming?
Happy New Year to all those who celebrate and observe in the coming days.
Thanks for your patient answers,
Debra
Dear Debra, I think the new reefer coat can double as an indoor and out door piece, depending where you live. The skirt did do well, but if there are many returns it will not be reordered….so let’s keep our fingers crossed! There isn’t any other hosiery coming other than the sock reorder….a matter of budgets.i will have a wonder pant suit coming in Jan.
The new floral shirt just came–WOW! Knew is would be gorgeous–it is OUTSTANDINGLY beautiful. Was worried about the fit/stretch as I did not want it to be too baggy yet wanted to accommodate my swimmer’s shoulders and it’s fine. Going back for the other colors. Thanks again and love to Jac and the girls.
Any news on the green patina jewelry yet please?
By the C, my floral shirt in Black arrived today, and I love it more than I thought I would. Isn’t the fabric exquisite? I’m not talking about the floral pattern but the material itself. Of course, the colors in the pattern are gorgeous, as Louis described them. This shirt is very special and I’m so glad I received this color.
Dear By the C…I am so happy you love the floral. I know there were mixed feelings about the print, but I was sure if anyone saw it in person they would be won over. As Imsaid when I presented it I purchased the design from a European print design house. It really is spectacular!……enjoy all of them!!
Thank you Louis
Hi Louis ,could you please answer two questions for me? Would the wing collar shirt(A259103) in the new teal color go well under the swing cardigan(A267864)in mallard ?Also is it too soon to ask what colors the new leather jacket will be coming in besides alabaster? Thanks in advance
Dear Judy….I tried them together….First let me say the cardigan is much brighter and paler than the Teal, but they are in the same family of colors, but one is at one end and the other is at the far end…..all that said…I think they can be worn together…..but you will need the right accessories to make it work. I tried the India pendant and liked it a lot on these two colors.
Hi Louis
Great show yesterday. Unfortunately my professional life only allowed me to see the DVR after the fact. Good thing I purchased the port wk tunic as well as the port petite wk pants in advance – otherwise I would have been tough out of luck with the petite pants. After seeing the sneak peek of the new reefer coat, I am on board for the port reefer coat. What a sensational outfit I will have including my copper etruscan beads.
Louis, will the swing cardigan be coming in as a reorder? And, if so, will it be offered in the new colors of the ballet swing sweater – the dark cherry and the forest green? I like to have matching sweater sets to get that column of color. The swing cardigan is my “outerwear” for most of fall and winter here in the south.
No it was not reordered this season.
Just wanted to let you know that your repair company in Smithfield did a fast and great job repairing the alabaster wood bead necklace chain. It was returned within 2 weeks, too. Thank you for the address.
Dear Connie…so happy to hear it worked out for you…..now keep that address….you never know!
Great show, one of the models was wearing a midi black skirt,(wearing white and black zip front jacket),is it still available, would love one with the navy asymmetrical front zip weathered sweater I bought-will buy until the wk comes out in a black mini, never enough black skirts! Thanks again for your chic clothing, Have a Healthy Good Year!
The black midi was an old skirt…”IF” the skirt gets reordered I would definitely bring in black as the new color.
Im sure lots of us would be excited to have a black midi, Thanks!
Count me in for the black midi! I love all my wk skirts, but it’s nice to have the option of a long skirt, especially when it’s freezing out!
fingers crossed
Dear Louis,
Oh no! I was so buy at work on Monday that I missed the show. What’s worse is the opportunity to get the midi skirt in all colors that I have been drooling over! Grabbed a waitlisted heather gray, but so wanted the black and blackberry. I know already that I have lost out for the season, but if it completely sold out and it gets re-ordered, please please please reconsider the blackberry again. ): ): ):
Dear Nancy…..definitely go on wait list for both colors…..there are always returns
no waitlist, size is sold out. But I will diligently check for returns. I tried so hard this time not to be greedy and order everything early before it was presented. Lesson learned, if its a must have for me, order early!! I do appreciate your sneak peaks Louis. The colors of this season are lovely and I love your styling ideas.
I am in the same boat Nancy. I missed out on the blackberry midi skirt and it is gone! I am so upset, really wanted it to go with the whisper knit items I already have and the new blouse and hopefully more to come. I can only hope it is brought back in the future. Obviously, not enough quantity again! So disappointed!
We are exactly in the same boat Bebe!
Great show, Louis! When will the new necklace the short-haired blonde model was wearing be available? What other colors? Thank you. Missed Jac!
I second Maia. It’s sensational. Can’t wait for it. Hoping QVC was smart enough to have ordered the piece. Thanks
It will be in the Silver Ox only and it’s due for Q1 which is jan, Feb or March. I don’t think they have decided which month.
As I approach my 86nth birthday I want to tell you how much you and my credit card love Linea. I still enjoy dressing well and all your designs make it possible.
Many blessings to you.
Beryl
Dear Beryl…..through all our communications I would have never guessed you were a woman of a certain age…..God bless
Will someone please tell me when the coat was sneak peeked? I’ve been sick the last few days and was nodding off in my chair.
Thanks!
Chris – I posted the information on the Q’s Linea Forum. There are 3 different Item Videos where you can see the following:
The Fawn Reefer Coat
The Black Reefer Coat
The Alabaster Leather/Knit Jacket
Thank you, Seka! I must have been sicker than I thought to fall asleep during a Linea Show! The Black Reefer Coat is just what I’ve been wanting.
He showed them on the models today on the afternoon show. Not available to order yet. A reefer coat and a leather jacket.
Louis what a great show! I ordered the modernist top in sienna and will be ordering more later. Saw the sneek peeks of the reefer coat and the leather jacket and they look divine. Great work!
Hi Louis great show today Jac was missed and wishing her wellness! Didn’t think I needed anything until I watched?? Just had to have the sienna print top to go with my brown slim leg pant? and have been waiting for the black floral blouse to match my faceted bead necklace in bright, Last night I pre-ordered the mardi gras multi necklace!
Fabulous show, Louis! Somehow I really enjoy a 2-hour show broadcast on QVC 1 the most. A smart and sparkling collection, once again. Thank you.
Dear Louis, I decided today after watching your two hour show that I want my entire wardrobe to be Linea.. Fabulous items. And everything goes together. Bravo Louis. I got 10 items and I hope Ups shipment comes quickly.
Carol, I decided that 3 years ago! The problem is I keep adding new designs, but I don’t want to give up any of the older designs! They are classics and will be in style for years to come. Needless to say, I have filled up 4 closets and running out of room!.
Louis, HUGE thanks for answering my question about combining the big deal blouse with the pleated skirt in the same color. I’m so excited about that! Also that there are lots of fun combinations with others of the BD blouse colors and the two other colors of the pleated skirt. I’m all over this one! So sorry to have caught you at a bad time this past week and can’t wait for the show tomorrow
This Faux de Chine Pleated Skirt (A288389) is on clearance: $24.75 WOW, what a great buy!
I am looking at my new wine ponte bootcut pants. How is this color different from Port? I need to make some decisions that will hopefully end in a coat purchase.
Teri….the colors are very different. The Port is much darker and deeper than the wine which is brighter and more of a red wine. The Port is more of a brown wine. You will see both in the show tomorrow…..the wine, the Port and the blackberry…..all different.
Thanks, that is super helpful and also the answer I was hoping for.
Dear Louis,
Can you tell us (even just the month) when the coat in port will become available? Hoping to be able to get it in time to wear to an early January wedding. Thank you.
Jac had on her facebook page that the coat was coming in October. So I checked his dates (however you know the Q could change that) is October 30. I hope this helps and I have it all straight!
Now there is also a 2 hour show on October 31st! Yea. That means more clothes for us!
can you please share the link?
Lee the coat is due next month…so Jan. Isn’t a problem
Hi Louis. I love the modernist print top. Is it possible to make that in a short sleeve top for next summer? I love the material of that top for warmer weather also. Can’t wait to watch your show tomorrow.
I assume you are talking about the fabric and not the print. Since next spring/summer are finished, that wouldn’t be possible. I’m working on next Fall 2018
Yes the fabric. Maybe sometime in the future if you would want to keep that in mind. I love the printed tops (I own the abstract print in blue) and would love to see something in short sleeve that could be worn with shorts. Just a thought I had. Thanks for responding.
It’s a good idea Jen….I’m surprised I haven’t done it?
Well you have a lot of great ideas…..
On another note, I wore to dinner the other night your navy asymmetrical wk sweater, alabaster slim leg pants and the India necklace. I just love that necklace, had compliments. Can’t tell you enough how much I appreciate all the things you create for us.
Then please share Louis — what are the ~it~ colors and patterns in the fashion world for 2018?????
I have to say Debea….the “it” anything really doesn’t exist any more, because each designer presents very different clothes, colors and styles. You should take a look at Vogue.com……click runway and you can see everything that every designer will be doing for next spring. The NY shows just ended and the Brits are up…..then the Italians and finally the French….in 15 minutes you will see everything…..the one thing you will see is there is no one direction. You pick and choose what you like.
Dear Louis,
I am curious to hear your take on Spring 2018/Fall 2018.
There are certain designers that I gravitate to and the “pattern” I see emerging, may be different than yours.
But, I do have to say, there’s a lot of stuff from the late 80’s and early 90’s that would have come in handy…… 😉
But, as you come from a classic clothing background, that is much a much more important point of view to me.
thanks, Debra
PS How long will the Port coat be?
As soon as I read about the new Wing Collar Shirt colors, I went to the QVC site, and the new colors are posted. This shirt is such a classic, and I love these new colors for fall and winter. It is so reassuring to know that they can be ordered early, so I can just relax tomorrow and enjoy the presentations. Looking forward to them.
Penny
Enjoy the shirts and the show….it’s going to be a good one!
Not a color question but a “volume” question. Would the BD blouse pair up with the pleated skirt from this past summer in the same fabric, same color, and worn open as a jacket? Or not a balanced look?
Nancy I have brain freeze….whats the DB blouse?
Big Deal
Vickeybliss: Thanks for stepping and translating my awful cell phone typing so Louis could answer the question 😊 Greatly appreciated.
Dear Nancy…..I tried them on my form and I like them together very much. I think the flare at the bottom of the BD and the flare at the bottom of the skirt work well. Since the top of the skirt is slim there is no bulk. I like it both closed and open over the skirt. I tired the W White BD over the navy shirt….looking good, then I tries the WW WK TN under the BD with the same skirt….looking good….there are lots of combos mixing all the BD shirts with the 3 colors of the pleaded skirt
When can we expect the new colors in the pull on ponte knit pants A268216 to be available? Thank you
They are avail.NOW
They are still showing as waitlisted on my order. Are you talking about the same pants that I ask about? I have dark olive, fawn, smoke and alabaster still on waitlist for A268216.
Dear Judy….that’s the reorder colors for the boot cut Ponte pant. They are due in Oct, but since it’s a reorder they probably will ship them as soon as they arrive and get processed.
Thrilled to see the WK pants back and in PETITE. Is the cut/fit the same as the ones you had previously? I have them in dark green and have nearly worn holes in them, I love them so much. This time I will order multiples.
I really can’t say if there are the same leg. These are sort of a straight leg.
I looked up the measurements. The 2012 Wk pant was A228555 and the measurements are still posted on the QVC website. The inseam of the older pant was 0.5″ longer. The pant leg opening in a Medium was 19″ and the new is listed at 16.5″. The top thigh of the old in Medium was 27.25, versus 25 in the new. So this is definitely a sleeker look in the new, and I am very excited about that. I was only going to get the new color, but now I will get black too.
Sometimes I marvel at how you seem to read my mind! Exactly what I wanted!
Susan
Ditto on the Petite! I also have a question about the new WK pant. Last year I sized down to Small as they seemed to run a little large, but the Click Here measurements on these would indicate a Medium. Are these cut a little differently or maybe a different factory cut them not as big?
Also, as I’m looking at getting the WK pant in Port, can you comment on the color and how Port differs from Blackberry (I’m guessing Port has a little more dark red and Blackberry has a little more purple)? And will there only be a Ponte Slim pant in Blackberry or will there be any other pant in that color? Thank you!
Port is very deep…..darker than the blackberry. Port is a wine with brown in it so it is a very neutral. Blackberry has more purple. They are very different.
Sue I only use one factory to make all of my WK. Each knit garment has to be fit even if they are similar, so I really can’t answer that question. I can only suggest the measure the pant you own and compare the measurements. Remember ENR construction does stretch, but you don’t want them to stretch to the point where they are being stretched too much.
Thank you Louis!
Dear Louis,
Will the Modernist print top in sienna go with the adobe pleated skirt? Thank you.
Louis I asked the question previously regarding your “modernist” print. Which color works best with the wk port pants? Thanks..
Dear jac with the port both the sienna and magenta work. The port is shown with the magenta in the picture.
What color TN would you pair with each of these prints? Thank you for your time.
Dear Vicky I’ll have to look when I get home……The Port TN for sure…..and the cream will work with the Sienna.
I hope everything is ok! Take care.
The new abstract printed L/S top (A295912) is now showing at the Q. Is there any metallic thread in the design or it just looks metallic?
Sorry to hear that Jac is having a difficult time with the antibiotics. Glad it was caught early. Not everyone shows a bull’s eye rash with Lyme disease.
Regards,
Chris
No metallic threads Chris….it’s my poly jersey like the ombre tops
Louis which color in this top looks best with the port wk pants? Thanks.
Jac….in the Ask Louis section I just get a list of questions without the pictures so I don’t know which top you are referring to? Style # please
It’s A295912 — abstract print top.
Thanks JJM. I hope Louis answers my question.
This top is gorgeous! How did I miss all talk of this one?
Louis and Ladies,
Do any of you have advice about shortening whisper knit pants? I’m one of those in between regular and petite, but I need the regular for the rise. I own the last version in the petite, but the fit isn’t quite right.
I just don’t know how turning up a hem on the whisper knit would look. Would the extra weight of a hem pull on the knit?
I’m hoping someone has tried to hem past versions and could give me your opinion and let me know how you did it.
Thank you!
By how many inches do you them shortened? It will depend on the rise you need, but with the last pair, I had them taken up an inch or so at the waist rather than at the hem.
Thank you, Kate. That is something to consider. I never thought of taking them up at the waist. I’ll have to “do the math” to see if taking up the regular length at the waist will work. Years ago, I had sweater knit pants that I hemmed and every time I wore them, they “grew” in length due to the weight of the hem.
Dear Louis,
I feel like I keep jumping the gun — each time I purchase some of your newness, new versions and styles come out that I love too!
Would you wear the new port tunic with the WK midi skirt in Charcoal Gray? Or is it too much long over long? Should I stick with the turtleneck to keep it a short/long look? Curious to hear what fashion adage you hold with.
I wear a size Small in your clothing and am 5’5″ for reference.
thanks,
Debra
You can definitely wear them together!….where with a 2 inch heel boot…..that’s not too high
Dear Louis,
For your designs, do you prefer a long boot? I do own a lot of ballet flats including in a charcoal gray, black, “shiraz”, putty, and of course, colored tights. I own booties. Amazing – too many shoes and still not sure what to wear 😉
Are there more items coming in port and navy? Are there any open cardigans coming soon? Thank you for your generosity and promptness in your replies. I have already ordered the two skirts and the blackberry turtleneck. I don’t know if they will retro-correct any easy pays if they happen on Monday, but I didn’t want to miss out while I was at work during your show.
many thanks,
Debra
Usually with the long skirts I prefer a boot where the top is covered by the skirt. Booties and shorter boots are good too….with opaque tights, but they should be fitted shapes and not to large at the top.
I also already own the Port turtleneck and the Heather Gray one, in addition to the short crewneck WK from last year in Winter white, Red, and Black.
Does the new wk midi skirt also come in black? Cant wait!
Nope….just two colors in the skirt and two in the pant….that’s all they would buy….so if they do well, without many returns and they get reordered for next year I will definitely do black.
What a shame. Who wouldn’t want the new black skirt and matching black tunic as an outfit?
QVC.Sigh. I feel like I beg them to please, please, take my money.
I’ve done a long WK skirt twice in black, basically the same skirt…..don’t you already own it……check your closet!
I own the black and just purchased the two new colors. I’m hoping this skirt sells out and fast, so we can get a reorder. Navy is at the top of my wish list, followed by camel.
And, best wishes to Jac that she begins to feel better.
I’m with you Grace, just purchased the same and fervently hoping for more colors to come – the ones you suggest and Forest Green.
Dear Husband got tick bite a year ago and had to undergo the awful antibiotic treatment too. Made him pretty sick but it did, in the end, do the trick. Hoping for the best for Jac!
Several new Linea items posted on Q — search Linea and filter by new. Just ordered the port tunic and port pant. Look gorgeous!
Thanks for the heads-up! I knew there must be lots more coming that LDO has not had the opportunity to sneak peek! I ordered all colors of the news pants, mini-skirt and split side tops. No sense in pretending I’m not going to buy them all when I know I am!
LDO–I hope Jac feels better soon. Pain can wear you out. I’m allergic to several antibiotics and the effects can be serious. We appreciate your attention to us here during what has to be a difficult time in your household.
Excited for the shows next week.
Dear Kate…..the antibiotics for the Lyme have knocked Jac for a loop. She is allergic to almost all med. I am really very behind this time, and don’t know if I will be able to post every sneak peek. Some I haven’t even taken photos of…..I’ll do my best, but as you said lots going on here.
We understand. Take care of Jac!
So sorry the antibiotics have bothered Jac. She is so lucky she caught this right away early, because many do not get the bull’s eye rash with Lyme disease. I hope she gets better soon; we understand if you cannot answer questions quickly.
Regards,
Chris
I love the cherry color Louis! It looks like a red I can wear. Will there be anything else in cherry this season?
No…..I try to keep everything distinctive and special
Louis, I just pulled out A210367/A210368 from 2010, your “forest green” long sleeve WK tunic sweater and skirt. Dare I ask if the new swing sweater in “forest green” a close match? I love your greens and I am able to wear practically all of them. Many thanks for everything. You have made a fan of me wearing your beautiful green colors.
Regards,
Terri
Louis, I ordered the cherry, forest, and camel in the ballet-neck swing sweater this morning. What a wonderful surprise to wake up to this morning. The swing sweater is my go-to work option in winter. The v-neck version, A282506, is a customer top rated and is sold out in a lot of options. It is may favorite of the swing sweaters. Is it being reordered?
Not for this season
Thank you to all who alerted everyone about the Madi Gras necklace. I ordered mine today. I’m hoping to wear it on my Mexican cruise in October.
So happy more can enjoy the Mardi Gras necklace. I was lucky and got one when it first came out. I love it. It’s one of my favorites.
Do I see matching earrings in the newly posted floral blouses?
The beach glass necklace is posted too!!! 😀😀😀
I went to QVC to find it and it isn’t there. Do you think it has already sold out? But thanks to all for telling us the Mardi Gras necklace was reordered and now posted. I got that. And with all of Louis’s newest jewelry, I will be covered!
I was quick too and ordered the Mardi Gras necklace!
To all who just nabbed the Mardi Gras, congrats!
My hope is that those of us who were unable to buy all or any of the glass bead necklaces that are now waitlisted are able to experience this same joy in the future.
Goldie, you can say that again! My alabaster (only one I ordered) went from “in process” to backordered and has never moved. Reading this gave me hope.
I just got a Mardi Gras necklace too!!!!
I never thought it would happen . I am over joyed to have just ordered the
Mardi Gras necklace
FYI – Mardi Gras necklace posted! Just ordered mine.
Donna from California
Louis, please excuse for asking this a 2nd time, but would the big deal blouse (in navy) pair up well, worn open as a jacket, over the pleated skirt from this summer (in navy) in the same material? Or do you see that being a no go proportionately/volume-wise?
I’ll have to check when I get the time. Right now I’m swamped.
I will happily wait until you are UNswamped 🙂 Sorry to catch you at a bad time.
Hi Louis. First, know that we, will always have your back. Second, I posted reviews about the items I received but unfortunately I missed out on the two Bead necklaces I ordered. They are on backorder so, I don’t think I will get them but I’m checking everyday. If I receive them, I will immediately post my review. I hope Jac’s back is ok and you are well (the girls also). I hope Jac is well enough to be there. If not, as you well know, she will be missed. See you in a few days.
Dear Mimi…..thank you for your support. It is greatly appreciated…..I hope you get your necklaces…………..Unfortunately, I don’t think Jac will be able to make this trip. Her back is really acting up, and the antibiotics she took for the Lyme really did her in. She is allergic to many meds. and she didn’t do well with these either, but once you start you unfortunately can’t stop.
Please give Jac my best wishes for improvement. I am sorry that her back is still acting up. I hope she can relax and, in time, gain some tolerance for those meds. I have my own brand of health problems that have changed me from a human dynamo to someone who never knows if she’ll have enough energy or is surprised by unwelcome and unexpected periods of exhaustion. Prayers and good wishes for better health! ~ Maria
Hi Louis,
I hope this message finds you doing well. 😀
I was looking at the picture f the desert sand spirit necklace and in the upper left hand corner the mannequin is wearing a cardigan that appears to have a straight hem. Is this a new cardigan? 😀😀❤️❤️❤️
Thank you,
Bernadette
Dear Bernadette….it’s actually the Desert Sand Crepe Gauze cardi. I realize the picture looks different, but that’s it.
I’m checking every hour!!!!
Waiting patiently for sneak peaks and looking forward to them.
Um, with the show just a week away, isn’t it about time for a sneak peek or two? Just saying…
I’m wondering, too. I keep checking in to see 🙂 can’t wait!!
I’ve been checking too….
AMEX is going to be calling to find out if I’m still alive after this quiet spell.
My thoughts exactly,i have been checking??
I’m checking every day too.
Me too. Watching & waiting for sneak peeks. I thought that today might be the day, and it actually has me a tiny bit concerned. I guess we’re really conditioned to expect those sneak peeks!
Hello Louis,
I hope you do not mind a suggestion or two. After all, you are MY designer!
Pebble crepe coat or duster (maybe Spring ’19?)
Baseball jacket in WK AND ponte and suede! need these in solid black (among other colors)
More greens- including olive and avocado.
Looking forward to my favorite Linea categories now that fall fashions are arriving: outerwear and WKs!
Thanks!
I agree with queendiva. I love the silhouette and fit of the baseball jacket. Would love to see it in other fabrics as well. Maybe a fall version in 2018?
Louis,
I still wear your drawstring ponte pants from many seasons ago. You had a bodysuit that went with them? I have the pants in charcoal gray and brown. I adore these pants and wear them often. I would love more…perhaps in navy, black and a re- do of the charcoal gray? A nice sand color in these pants would be a wow. They drape beautifully. The draw string makes them casual while the Ponte looks so expensive. These pants are a gem. I was just in my closet putting away summer clothes and saw them. I am afraid these gems will wear out…will you consider doing them again? These pants were perfect leisure wear before the rest of the fashion world got the idea. Couldnt survive without you!
You and Jac are our fashion treasures!
Louis, I have to agree with Victoria — these are my all-time favorite pants. I have them in the black and grey and wear them all the time (have them on today!) The fit is perfect and they are so comfortable. I wear mine so often that I’m afraid of wearing them out. I would love for a re-do of these pants.
Adding my voice to the chorus. I have the drawstring knit pants with pockets in gray and a tan color. Sadly, I can no longer wear them following weight loss. They are classic, comfy, go (almost) anywhere pants that look SO designer- and they are! Would love to see them again in a similar style and fabric. It’s been about 5 or 6 years.
Me, too. I broke my wrist last year and wore a pair of those pants everyday until my hand was functional. So needless to say, mine are all worn out now. I have black, gray and taupe. Love those colors, but navy and chocolate would be good, too.
I don’t remember these pants, but they sound great. Does anyone have an item number?
I also have black, gray, and taupe in the drawstring pants. I LOVE these pants. The item number is A227577. I have worn them for years and would like to see more. Everything about them is perfect!
Dear Fairfax, every time I present a drawstring pant “they” say no, because they get high returns on that kind if style? I love the pant you are talking about, but it did go on clearance before it sold out.
Maybe a VERY similar style and fabrication of the pant as a pull on- minus the drawstring?
Louis, would the big deal blouse in Linea navy work with the fabulous pleated navy skirt in the same fabric from this summer, wearing the blouse jacket-style? Or do you think proportionally or volume-wise this would be a no-go?
Nancy, I was going to ask the same question. Thanks
I’m getting out my heavier pants for the colder weather. I love your super ponte fabric and would buy every color in a super ponte wide-leg style. I know trends change in pants, but my legs don’t change with them and wide-leg pants suit me best.
Good Morning, Louis!
I love my new Big Deal Tunic blouses. I’m so glad that Jayne wore it under the hooded snap front cardigan for a more casual, but put together look. What do you think of wearing the blouse under the long duster cardigans? The cuffs of the blouse would peek out of the bottom of the 3/4 sleeves on the duster. I have the matching tanks for the dusters, but I would never remove the duster and go sleeveless. If I wore the blouse underneath, I could remove the duster when I got too warm and my arms would still be covered.
Thank you!
Dear Chis they would look great together. The wing collar is perfect.
Hi Louis –
I just received a box of the most beautiful jewelry! I don’t know how to describe how they make me feel. I will surely leave good reviews for all of them. My favorite is the India necklace. So lovely an unusual. My question is when will A-287608 and A-287609, the Whisper knit long cardi and tank arrive in the new color Navy?
Dear Chrystene, the cardigan and tank are due in Jan.
To anyone planning on traveling and living out of a suitcase for two weeks, we just returned from a Norway fjord trip that was off the beaten track and taking my Linea was a pleasure. I took 4 pair of Linea pointe pants, 8 WK turtles, some Isaac scarves, and my favorite, the pebble crepe button down tunics. I was comfortable, looked good, and the Linea clothes held up perfectly. Louis, thanks for the “roll and go” fabrics and styles. I probably sound like a broken record, but please make more styles and colors in the pebble crepe. This year you have hit it out of the park!
I agree with you Jackie. I travel for business as well as pleasure. My suitcase is always full of Linea – sometimes exclusively. Louis’s clothing is so packable. When I arrive, there is barely a wrinkle. Besides benign flattering ,best part Louis’s clothing lends itself to wonderful accessorizing.
agree with the request for more pebble crepe
Ok to wear gunmetal earrings along with the shiny black pieces, or what would you recommend? Have the shiny black asymmetric necklace and shiny black bar necklace and shiny black cuff and I’m always wondering what earring to wear.
Since QVC hasn’t bought ant black earrings I do show the Demi or large hoop in GM. I have also shown the black barrel earring from the barrel necklace set.
Thank you Louis. I have all of those earrings but had not thought of using the black shiny barrel beads. Problem solved ☺
Dear Louis,
Is the Etruscan Russian Gold the same color as the wind chimes necklace from a few seasons ago? How long are the earrings? I am hoping that someday you come out with subtle hoops or studs in the Russian Gold. Thank you.
Dear Rochelle, they are both Russian gold, but Russian Gold can be shiny, semi sheen, satin, and matte finish….so you see there can be a great variation. Even though the plating color is the same the finish can effect the final “look”…..Rochelle, I offered a round stud in Russian Gold, Chocolate, Gunmetal, and Matte Silver as a set that lingered and lingered until it went on clearance. I kept telling everyone it was an important set to have because they would go with everything, but now it’s gone. That is one of the main reasons I’m now selling an earring with necklaces…..so the look will be complete, especially with different metal colors and finishes. “They” never seem to want to buy separate earrings because they don’t sell as well on their own.
I likely saw those before I took the risk to try your jewelry. Fashion earrings often make me nervous as I have a severe nickel allergy to jewelry (and knitting needles). I finally did get a pair of your earrings. I wasn’t aware Russian Gold was one of the choices, just that the studs were mostly matte finishes. I bought the circular ones and the Spirit Necklace. I may change the backs to large sterling or gold-filled butterflies. Disk back can sometimes be too irritating/too tight. Thank you for your reply.
Don’t know the length of the earrings it should say on the site. They are easily shortened from the top if need be.
I would still love to see another variation of your basic light weight pierced J-hoop. I lost one of my gunmetal J-Hoops and I seem to have a knack for misplacing the gold and silver sets. I have these in all colors offered, and wear them at least once a week. Perfection! I find the understated earrings sometimes are the best with the statement necklaces. I have the little ball set too, but like a little more presence like the J-Hoop. The larger hoop is heavier, and the clamp mechanism hurts if I try to wear them all day. I use them for dinner only… 🙂
As I recall, this earring flew out the door, and was restocked too. Shiny black, Russian Gold, Copper Ox, along with basics would be great!
Dear Susan…..they never seem to want to buy a separate earring, but I’ll try again
What a horrific hurricane season this year I too am heart broken for all the people I know in St. Maarten and Anguilla since we have been going there for over 20 years and my sister just got back to NY from visiting Antigua last weekend.
I heard Barbuda was destroyed. It was on that island that Imgot my inspiration for the fish pendant and the palm frond group!
Oh my, what an interesting peek into the history of those two pieces, Louis. Barbuda is “precious territory” for many reasons.
Hi Louis. Ever considered giving us a Lion head. Loved the AK one. Thanks for everything!
Dear Pamela, the lion was such a part of Anne Klein that I would never take that road again. It’s part of my past, and a good memory, but not something that has meaning for me now.
I understand. It’s no wonder that I have been obsessed with your designs since you began at QVC. I loved your designs when I didn’t even know it was you. I tried to count pieces of mine and mothers the other day, with jewelry, well over 300.One further request..somehow along the way I missed the seed bead cuff to match necklaces. Will it ever return? Prayers to all hurricane victims.
Dear Pamela……you didn’t miss the cuffs, because they weren’t offered!!! My jewelry team and I are really pushing the buyers to order them…..however, I am planning on offering three or four new colors so that would mean seven or eight cuff colors. I doubt they would ever buy that many separate cuffs. I am not planning to bring back the old necklace colors.
The photos from Anguilla are devastating. ❤️
Carol, we haven seen any, and I don’t know if I want too. I know so many people there our hearts are breaking for them.
Don’t look. The devastation is beyond imagining. And Hurricane Jose is right behind, with nowhere for these poor people to go. There aren’t enough prayers in the world for what is happening to the Earth’s climate now… I count my many blessings and am grateful for everything I have every day of my life in these dark and terrible times.
I’m looking at your upcoming programs on the 18th, and my Cable Guide says 2 hour show at 3-5 PM . Was there a change in the time? QVC program guide lists the same –3-5 PM.
Sorry to read Antigua is getting a direc hit from Irma.
Chris
Dear Chris yes there is a time change. Please let everyone know on the forum…thanks, Louis
YW!
Dear Louis,
I am one of your devoted who gave in to your jewelry debut show! (well prior, actually 😉 I got my spirit necklace in gray and Love it! The iridescence among the facets of the black and white stone remind me of labradorite – I love that it is a real stone and the double chain really supports it well along with the twinkle of the mini crystals in black and gray along the gold chain.
The new station necklace — well, I got gunmetal and hoped! I love Charcoal Gray and adore all of the wine and Scarlet Red from last year. The long duster cardigan in red and black were made to show off these long necklaces. I see that you have a Hematite color on waitlist, but I don’t know what the difference would be between that and Gunmetal? Is it the actual hematite stone stations? I always avoided “costume” jewelry for fine, but these are very fine indeed.
Really pleased with my purchase,
Best,
Debra
Dear Debra….totally ignore “hematite”. I have no idea why it’s listed since there is no such thing and it was never offered!
That is so funny!! Listings dropped off (and then I had to go back in later) for the necklace and now there is a color that doesn’t exist.
I added a few photos to my review of the necklace against your Scarlet Red whisper knit from last year, so for your intrepid fans, they can see what the gunmetal looks like.
Oh, and by the way – P O R T
I am in love with this luscious color – got my turtlenecks in Port and Charcoal Gray and waiting for the midi skirts. I know Blackberry is great, but I love the Port and would love to have that in more knits or options besides pants.
I am not a professional photographer by any means, but hopefully your fans will be able to get an idea of how gunmetal differs, from silver and black, and what a rich contrast it is. Thank you!!
More Port will be coming!
By all means, PLEASE tell me more!!
Louis, you mentioned that the wire cuff is coming in shiny black. Do you mean J335214 or the other older wire cuff? Looking forward to the black shiny cuff in any style. Thanks
Tylerpoo…..it’s the older one that went with the trapeze necklace, which is also coming back in shiny black
Thank You, I was hoping this was the one! I have the trapeze shiny black necklace.
Dear Louis,
I own the original glass necklaces in all the colors so I planned not to order the new ones. Favorable reviews changed my mind and I was lucky enough to snare one in alabaster. It just arrived and I’m awed.Absolutely magnificent. Thank you so much for bringing so many beautiful things into my life and
the lives of all the Linea Ladies.
Love to you and Jac,
Beryl
