Linea Leisure Classic Essential COTTON “T” SHIRT A225482 is the best and my absolute favorite T shirt. When will this item return in more colors and sizes?

Would you please consider doing this with long sleeves? Colors… Black, Navy, Charcoal and Burgundy.

    Thank You!!!

    1. louis dell'olio

It’s returning next spring…..not sure which month

      1. Michelle

        Louis

I would also like to put in a request for the cotton t-shirt in a long sleeve length. There have been several days this month (as we transition to Fall weather) that I have found myself wishing for a long sleeve version of the t-shirt to wear with my Linea blazers and jackets. I suspect many of the Linea ladies would agree.

Good luck with the upcoming shows. My credit card is getting ready for a work out!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I did sketch one last season but they passed it….I’ll keep trying

  2. luvitorleaveit

I totally forgot about the ponte knit pants new colors in the fawn and smoke how nice those colors will look with the rolled collar sweater and the smoke with my blue/grey cardigan. I have the grey short sleeve sweater too

  3. Kate

I’ve been looking for something different to wear over your sleeveless WK sweaters. Here in LA, sweaters are the deal in winter (though I keep buying your fabulous coats anyway!). I saw this bolero and thought it might work. My question is, will such a chunky cable knit, will it look “off” with your flat knit sweaters? And, I wish we could have this kind of sweater from you (even if it can’t be in cashmere.). https://www.zara.com/us/en/woman/new-in/cable-knit-bolero-c840002p5054039.html

Oh, just the bolero. The dress is interesting, but I don’t think so!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Kate the sleeveless TN with look great with the Bolero, especially in CA. The buyers would never buy a chunky sweater like that in any yarn from me. I have to make everything from XXS to 3X and I don’t think it would go over well will larger women. I’ve never had success with bolero sweaters and I’ve made some pretty ones. Do you remember the gauze knit bolero?

      1. kate

I guess I can see that. I do remember those boleros and I remember them because I have them in frequent rotation in my wardrobe.

Hi Louis. I hope QVC re-orders the new Midi Skirt next year.. I ordered 1 in each color but I should have ordered 2 in each. The Blackberry fit like a glove. I ordered the xxs as always but QVC sent me the Grey in the xs. I returned it for a credit due to the fact, of course sold out. I stalked QVC and an xxs showed up. I immediately ordered it. The label read xxs but it fit like the xs or even a small. QVC is getting so sloppy the past 2 years or so. Anyway, I hope they won’t hold the returns against you and they reorder the skirt next year and maybe, even in more colors. Looking forward to seeing you AND JAC! Fingers crossed.

    Hello,
I received the smoke Super ponte bootcut pants. I tried them with the grey and blue color block long cardigan. The smoke is a lighter grey than the grey in the cardigan, but it looks very nice together. Another lovely Linea outfit! I’m only sorry that I missed out on the grey short sleeve sweater to match the cardigan, but I have other things that work. I’m very happy to have pants in a more year round grey color than the heather charcoal.

    Thank you!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Chris……I should have mentioned that in Nov. I will have a slim leg Super Ponte pant coming in a Storm Grey which is darker. I don’t know if it will work any better with your cardigan, but i was remiss not letting you know. Sometimes it’s better to have an obvious paler color then one that looks like it should match but misses.I’m glad your happy with the pant.

      1. Chris S.

Thanks for the information about the slim leg pants coming in November, but I’m not a slim leg girl. I’m very happy with my growing collection of the super ponte boot cut pants.

        1. louis dell'olio

          Then you did well!

  6. Chrystene

    Louis –

Will the new leather jacket in Wine work with the Port sweaters and pants?

  7. Debra

    Dear Louis,

thank you for including the beret colors to match your new sweaters! Love it!
Did you discover a beret to match the new Port ~ and if so, what is it called? These are available through Ebay? or another source?

    thanks,
    Debra

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debra, my wine beret is old, but there are many wine berets avail on ebay and Amazon. You just have to make sure it’s dark. They don’t have to match exact….ebay is where I go these under the name Jedrzejko…..a Polish company.

      1. Mimi

I meant to thank you last year, when you mentioned the company that carries the berets that the models wear. I bought 4 last year and they are great. One was the dark grey which does have a blue hue to it. Thanks again. Looking forward to the shows. I’m hoping Jac will be able to join you. If not, as always, she will be greatly missed.

  8. Beryl

    Dear Louis,
Can we hope for more items in that beautiful Violet Haze?
Please tell Jac I hope she is on the road to reovery.
    Beryl

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Beryl….this is a one and only. First I want to see how the color is accepted before I use it for other garments.

  9. Judy

I’m so excited about the new slim leg ponte pants in blackberry (A297868). Please tell us these are at least 30 inch inseam and not as short as the other slim leg pants (A265615). I keeping my fingers crossed they are a 32 inch inseam but I can make do with a 30 inch inseam.

    1. louis dell'olio

      Judy, I measure 30 inches

      1. maryinCT

        Louis,
What colors will the new slim leg ponte pants come in? Is the bottom leg opening narrower than the straight leg ponte pant (A282511)? Thanks. MaryinCT

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Blackberry, Steel Grey (much darker then smoke), and black. The leg opening is wider, and the pant is a little longer.

          1. maryinCT

Thanks, Louis. Trying to make my choices for this season as you show your sneak peeks so I will be prepared as they post on the Q. Hope to see you and Jac both on your upcoming visit.

          2. Joanne

            Hi Louis
I am so happy you are bringing back super ponte straight leg pants in petite and regular.
I am not tall and the super ponte pants as flattering as they are, they require so much shortening. I hope they become a staple in your collection. I own multiples of your previous straight leg super ponte pants.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

It’s actually the boot cut pant that is coming back in petites.

      2. Judy

        Thank you, that will work!

      3. Ruth

I’m really glad you’re doing a super ponte in a slim leg with 30 inch inseam. I will be ordering these.

  10. Tricia

Received my stash at long last. Left comments already. The pants too large inspite of clink here measurements but an easy fix with straight sewing. I have them pinned but not sewn as yet. Recovering from hip surgery from few weeks ago so engery level is low. LOVE this fabric for winter!!!! Where I live these pants with a light coat will be perfect for warmth. Love all I received. Do you know when green patina fish will be available???

    1. louis dell'olio

I believe by my show date on the 20th

  11. name

Louis, the violet haze looks lovely. However, I have issues with colors in that family secondary to red hair. However, the colors in that family that have worked so well for me of yours are the cowl neck part cashmere sweater in a purple color many years ago, which I still wear. I treasure it and fear something might happen to it one day. It is such a classic.

The other is the scoop neck casual top with a white sewn-in inset. There was also a black one. I still have the two of them. I wore them to death and now I wear them with Natori leisure pants for night wear. They are so soft and fit so beautifully and the color worked. Do you even remember these? Those were the days. I want to know how close the violet haze is to the aforementioned top of violet with the sewn-in white yoke.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear name. I really don’t remember what garment that is, but I am sure I no longer have it. I would think this color would be perfect on red heads.

    2. Sheesh

If you look at the garment tag, the Item number is on the back side. You can put it in the QVC search bar and it may come up.

  12. Chris S.

    Good Morning,

What will be the color choices in the new floral and crackle bead necklace and earring set? Even though I have been stepping out of my box and trying some of your bolder jewelry, this one is soooo me!

    Have a lovely Sunday!

    1. louis dell'olio

One of the crackle beads is always clear. The colors are pink, aqua mist and lilac.

      1. Chris S.

        All three sound perfectly pretty!

  13. 1jac

    Louis,
Will the wine wk dress match the port collection ( pants, coat, tn,etc)

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No…wine is very different from Port. They do not match. You could wear a wine top over Port pants.

  14. diane

Ladies- Mardi Gras necklace is available on WL.

  15. judy l

Louis, I bought the midi skirt in blackberry. Will there be any new WK tops, NOT turtleneck, in blackberry?

    1. louis dell'olio

Judi all I can think of now is the printed floral blouse.

  16. Mimi

Just thinking about you and Jac. Hope all is well and she is feeling much better. As always, I hope her back is ok. Take care of each other.
    Stay well.

  17. Beryl

Wore the black floral print blouse as a jacket over black WK tank and Ponte pants. Got tons of compliments. Love those blouses.

  18. Ann

Louis – Are the boot cut pants ever coming in petite?

    1. louis dell'olio

Ann…..that was going to be my big surprise! Yes, the boot cut pant will be coming in petites in 2018

      1. Beryl

        hooray for petites

      2. Ann

Thank you. Thank you. Thank you. I will replenish my bootcut supply in petite!

  19. Joanne

    Hi Louis
Does your new smoke swing turtleneck match the Linea slim ankle pants in gray from last year also. I like column of color dressing.
    Thank you

  20. Chris S.

Oh my, Louis! The sneak peeks of the swing turtlenecks are so beautiful, but do I “need” any more colors??? I already have 7 colors in the t-neck, plus multiples of the original swing sweater. I’m trying to decide about the smoke. You describe that as a “warm” grey. That being said, is the heather grey considered a “cool” grey? I have so many pieces in the heather grey and it works really well for me. Also, I have the grey and blue combination color block long cardigan. How is the smoke color in the pants with the grey in the cardigan? Decisions, decisions!
    Thanks for your help!

    1. Sylvia Pickich

That is my question too! I have the grey and blue color block cardigan on today. Does the smoke work with that? ( and I have on my black fish pendant 😉

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Chris and Sylvia…..I no longer have the color block cardigans to compare. The only thing I could do was look at the new smoke with the WK heather grey skirt. The Skirt is much darker, but they seemed to look fine together. If you were wearing the matching smoke TN and pant and wore the color block cardigan over it I think it would be good….but….without having the cardigan I can’t be 100% sure.

      1. Chris S.

Thanks for trying for us. Since the smoke is a lighter grey, the pants may work better in the warmer months than the heather grey. I always look at the heather grey as a fall/winter color. Do you agree?

        1. Chris S.

I just typed “smoke” in the search bar on the right to see other items you’ve done in smoke. I have the pebble crepe tunic and the crushed gauze tunic in smoke. The shades of smoke vary in those 2 items, but seem to work with the grey in the color block cardigan. I love having past sneak peeks as references. Thank you for the time it takes to do them for us.

        2. louis dell'olio

Yes “heather” charcoal grey is more of a winter color. The heather makes it look more like a flannel to me.

    3. louis dell'olio

Chris…I can’t guarantee that they are the same colors. After a while you run out of names!…LOL..and i forget what color I name what garment…especially when they are a few years old…..but they are all med. greys

  21. Joyce Adams

Louis,I had to share the compliment I received today. I was wearing your print tunic A293757 in navy print with the hammered gold cross with chunky stone in red/purple from a few years ago. An expert from American Antiques noticed that my necklace was an antique or excellent reproduction, and how beautiful it complimented the lovely artistic print of my top. I just threw the two together, for an ordinary day out, and yet drew compliments. By the way, that top is a “sleeper”. It is so light, airy, and comfortable. I have all three colors and adore the print.

  22. Chris S.

Three new colors plus a reorder of black in the WK Swing Turtleneck A268137 are available to order. One of the new colors is smoke. I love grey with my white hair. I own and love several items in the heather grey. I’m wondering if there will be other pieces to come in the smoke to create an ensemble,or is this a stand alone color.

    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The Boot Cut pant will come in Smoke. I will be posting a sneak peek soon

  23. Sylvia Pickich

Louis, the copper tone and silver tone fish pendants are listed on QVC on waitlist.

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes, so I have been told…..I don’t know why they do that. As soon as an order is placed it shows up on the site, but it’s for Spring 2018 so it will not be avail for a while.

      1. Sylvia Pickich

        I’ll wait patiently 😉

      2. vickybliss

I remember you gave a sneak peak, but I can’t remember which item it was with. We certainly enjoy fishing with you.

        1. louis dell'olio

          I don’t remember either

  24. Carol B

Denim Shirt – I have been buying your design for several years. How about a denim shirt (I apologize if this has been done previously)? I was looking at denim shirts and thought I’m sure Louis could design a better one then is in the market place.

    1. louis dell'olio

They really don’t want to buy denim shirts from me. They buy them from “other” vendors. You can bet Denim and Co or Martha Stewart will have plenty

      1. Carol B

Thanks for responding. What a shame as you are one of the few TRUE, experienced designers on QVC. At least I can enjoy what you are permitted to provide.

  25. CR

    Thank you, Louis!

Yesterday, for the first time, I wore the midi skirt in blackberry to work with the blackberry wing collar Big Deal shirt. I received a ton of compliments. Thank you, Louis, for making me look and feel so good.

    1. louis dell'olio

      CR….That’s great!

  26. Shari

    Hey Louis
I’m thinking forward to next Spring. I have ALL of you boho skirts and crinkle tops, and what I would like are some chunky chain belts. You do jewelry so darn well, I thought this to be a great idea for next Spring.
I was on line and found many very pricey ones at Polyvore, which I think could be Linea-ized. Just food for thought. They would be great with the boho “sets”.

    1. louis dell'olio

Shari….I tried offering metal belts a while ago….they weren’t interested.

  27. Hudson Valley Nancy

    Hi Louis,

Thank you for all the the lovely Whisper KnitI I love it all so much, that I have a huge variety and in every color. Now I was wondering if you could advise how best to store this massive inventory so that you can find EXACTLY what you’re looking for. Should we store by color or by style? I’m sure you must have a system as you and Jac seem to be able to find exactly the right piece when you are styling your sneak peaks. Was wondering if you had any advice for how to store Whisper Knits for ease of selecting the piece you want. I think it is a given that we all know to always fold our pieces, but organizing them is another story and I know you must have one! Wishing you and Jac well. This will give us all something to do while we wait for your next pieces!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy, I store all of my WK sweaters in clear plastic bins I buy in the Container Store….they have a website. I store by style which is easier for me. If I have to re-show a sweater in another show I know where the style is in all the colors. I label the bin with the style # a brief description, like swing cardi, TN swing, ballet neck swing, V neck swing basic WK TN etc etc. I list the colors too. It’s a little work but it keeps me organized or I wouldn’t know where anything is, and once it’s done it’s done. Jac has her own system of storing things, but I wouldn’t recommend it….LOL

      1. vickybliss

How high is your container? Do you store the sweaters rolled? Good storage and easy access is key to making the most of our lovely linea clothes. Thank you for your designs

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Vickybliss….the containers range from 22″, 24″ and 27″ long, 15″ wide and 5″ deep approx. If you get them much bigger or deeper you run into problems. They get too heavy, a problem storing, and if they are too deep if you want one from the bottom, no matter how careful you are you will disrupt the others and have to refold them all! I stack them………I fold and roll. Smaller sweaters I roll like tanks and short sleeve sweaters……larger sweaters I fold, but I try to limit the amount of folds….for instance….for a straight bottom sweater, no matter the length. I fold it in half [bottom to top], and then fold the sleeves across with out folding them anymore. I find I can fit them in the containers with out folding anymore, and they aren’t so thick. With the swing bottom sweaters I lay them flat, fold the swing part in along the seam [the godets] and then fold the same way. One fold bottom to top, sleeves in and put in container. You should try to store your knits with the least amount of folds. Believe it or not I learned this way of folding in Italian factories where they store hundreds of sweaters!

          1. vickybliss

Thank you ao much for taking time to answer our questions. We learn so much and deeply appreciate it.

            1. louis dell'olio

              you’re very welcome….have a great Sunday

          2. Melissa

            Great info Louis. Thanks!

          3. Pecan Cookie

Invaluable! I’m putting this into practice as soon as I get to the container store this weekend, about 20 minutes from me. By next week I’ll be all set. Thank you for these tips, Louis!

        2. diane

Vickybliss – I buy my plastic containers at Target and WalMart. They usually
          have a good selection.

      2. WNYGAL/APRIL

I think Jac and I must share that system.

        1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

😊 I’ll bet she knows right where everything is too!

          1. louis dell'olio

You better believe it!Her system is in her brain! She’s very organized in her own way.

    2. Hudson Valley Nancy

Thanks Louis for the great ideas. I love the idea of shallow containers so I don’t have to go digging or re-fold. So helpful, figured you would have a system! I think I speak for most of us ladies that we love these pieces so much, we want to make the most use of them, be able to style them nicely and take care of them. Love when you showed us live how to fold sweaters especially different types of sweaters. I think we all have a wonderful secret….a personal stylist! Best to you and Jac, miss her!

  28. Joanne

    Hi Louis
My port tunic and port petite pants finally arrived. Based on your description of the gauge of the whisper knit, I decided to size down one size for both items. Though I own multiples of your slim ankle pants, ponte straight leg and boot cut pants, this was my first foray into your whisper knit pants. The fit for both pants and tunic was perfect. The port whisper knit pants and tunic are a lovely, slimming monochromatic outfit that looks very classy. Thank you for the good advice that is always included with your sneak peeks. I have already left my 5 star reviews for both the tunic and pants.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne….happy to hear you love your new pieces. You will find the tunic works over lots of different bottoms including jeans. With the matching pant it become a more special outfit. You will have fun accessorizing for different looks…..enjoy

  29. Debra

    Dear Louis,
Just another fan thank you for my obsession with collecting all the wonderful WK newness. I received my black tunic and the Port tunic A295878 yesterday. My size S is already sold out in Port, so I am glad that I didn’t wait. I love, love, love separates, accessories, jewelry and down to the shoes for an outfit that looks great together. These two new tunics are perfect to wear over the skinny fit poly/rayon/span pencil tube skirts coming out. It has the side slits so that you can see the pattern – plaid, houndstooth, etc. but modestly covers the bumps that skinny pencil skirts can emphasize. I think that these tunics are going to be another sleeper best seller. I know that you weren’t pleased from the initial showing, but I am sure that the volume of sales will continue to grow. The midi skirts are long gone, so it proves that the buyers are not always right about what people want.

Please tell me more about the WK big deal. It seems that you are not booked again until December 14 and 15 (the Thursday night show says QVC2 big deal and Friday on your impt dates says QVC2 big deal). Are they the same Big Deal or different?

So excited over my many purchases this season!
    thanks,
    Debra

  30. Chris S.

    Louis,
I know the swing turtleneck is coming in some new colors. I wonder if it has been reordered in black, as well. I hope so!
    Thank you!

    1. louis dell'olio

      I believe it has

  31. Beryl

Bizarre happenings. Your reply to my comments on the floral blouse came through to my e-mail not on this site.

    1. Goldie76

That happened to me once, Beryl. I think Louis hit our email rather than our Louis Blog link.

  32. Beryl

    Dear Louis,
After my black floral blouse arrived I knew I needed another one. The blackberry ( to go with my midi skirt ) just arrived. I am in love with those blouses. They are so painterly. I even like the new alabaster necklace with the blackberry. You are so talented.

  33. Maia

Louis, almost all your jewelry is on sale today! Because I bought 5 pieces in the last 30 days, customer service gave me a refund of nearly $35! Great time for Linea ladies to pick up a pieces they’ve been waiting for! Most on easy pay, too!

    1. maryinCT

Heads up on the price adjustment-the Q offers this adjustment for 30 days from the date you RECEIVE your item-not the order date! I was 2 days beyond my order date but got the adjustment because of my delivered date. Good Luck!

      1. Maia

Thanks, Mary! I called again and received an additional refund of $22 on four more pieces!

      2. Kathy/Wis

Thanks Mary, I just called and they credited me back some dollars too.

        1. Debra

Thanks — I too called in and got a price adjustment!! Awesome! especially since I already spent it on other WK Linea items. Love that!

My Port tunic came in today and I L O V E the Port color. I got the size Small and it is perfect so no need to size up or down.

I am really enjoying my Spirit necklace in the gray – it is so pretty with the black and white striations and little crystals along the length.

Now, just waiting for the Port reefer coat and – hopefully – a great sale price and easy pay – arriving soon.

I would love to know what the WK Big Deal is as well!! 😀

I have worn your clothing in five six different sizes (downward) and still obsessed.

          thanks Louis —-
          Best, Debra

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Maia…..it’s a MISTAKE! It was supposed to be a sale on fine jewelry ONLY, and somehow my jewelry and some Joan Rivers was accidentally added…so buy what you want now because it won’t last long…..a costly computer glitch!

      1. Maia

Thanks Louis. A happy mistake for us!

        1. Joanne

Believe me I asked for a refund on the prior purchase of the Russian Gold and Copper Ox Etruscan Bead set.

On another front I wore your Copper Ox Etruscan Beads today to work on your Linea Topaz Animal Jacquard Jacket. The beads brightened up the whole jacket. I love those jackets. I own all of the colors. I look like a sylph when I wear them. They are also so versatile. My two sister also own a couple of them and love them for work and especially business traveling.

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

It’s not going to last long…I believe they are working on fixing it.

      1. Sylvia Pickich

I got a refund on prior purchases, AND I bought a Spirit Pendant!!!

  34. luvitorleaveit

My goodies were waiting for me when I got home last night. Louis these WK pants are FANTABULOUS! I was in love with the earlier version but these and that port color stunning; hopefully I can still get the port tunic in my size I love the look of jeweltones in a column color it looks so rich and with your fabulous jewelry to accessorize. I also received the forest green WK swing sweater I want to see how that looks with my green WK pants from before and the dark cherry also a beautiful color to wear with my navy WK pants. I’ll be playing in my closet with these colors. Going now to leave my review.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

So happy you love everything…..hope the port is avail to you…it is selling out.

      1. luvitorleaveit

Yep my port tunic is processing now. I just wrote my review on the WK pants this morning and it’s already posted! That was Indy 500 fast!

  35. Grace

    Dear Louis,

I finally received my “show haul” today in a very large QVC box and enjoyed trying it all on–kinda felt like Christmas morning! I LOVE every single piece! The midi skirts (perfect length), WK pants (tailor-made fit), tunics, WK turtlenecks, Modernist print top, wing collar shirts…all worth waiting for and will be well worn and loved. After seeing Jac model the port and blackberry on her FB page, I knew I had to have those outfits and I’m so glad they work with my coloring. Gorgeous colors! I have every new jewelry piece–a few in multiple finishes– so I’m all set and ready for the season and any casual or dressy occasion. Looking forward to the new reefer coat, as well! Thanks for all you do to bring us joy and help us feel beautiful!

Dear Grace, I am very happy you FINALLY got your haul, and what a haul it is! enjoy!!

    2. Jan

How do you access Jac’s Facebook page? I have been unable to find it.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Her face book page is Jac Dell’Olio

  36. Debra

    Dear Louis,
Will the WK dusters be coming with matching sleeveless shells? or are there other sleeveless crewneck shells coming to go with the dusters besides the current selection of short sleeved WK tops?

Big Question: Are there any more WK items coming in the next three months?
    Are there more skirts coming?

The sleeveless shells, midi skirts, duster, and other WK items are sold out in smaller sizes and have been for awhile now.

I am crazy in love with my whisper knit scarf in the Charcoal Gray to go with all of your other WK items. I have such sensitive skin and it feels amazing on my neck!!!

I am awaiting the tunics A295878 in black and port (I swore I would not get another black sweater, then thought if I don’t get it, I will regret it when the midi skirt or other WK skirts in black come back).

Also, because I watched and re-watched your videos from the show, I saw Maria wearing the Wine color suede boot from Marc Fisher in “Kimmee” and that is a perfect pairing with the Port pieces.

    many thanks,
    Debra

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra…..I know there is a least one more WK and it’s a BIG DEAL….either in Nov. or Dec…..can’t remember….no more skirts…they trally were even hesitant about buying the one I just sold…that’s why it was just in two colors…..the WK duster will be back in Jan with the matching tank tunic…that’s it other than the short sleeve now avail in the P Pink and navy

      1. Kate

As it sold so very well, can that perhaps be Exhibit A as to why we need more skirts particularly in fall/winter?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Kate…it’s all up to the buyers…..I sketched at least 10 skirts for next fall. I think we will be lucky if they reorder this WK long skirt and maybe one or two others….They would rather buy TOPs and pants over skirts and dresses [which return very high]. If I never did another dress for QVC that would be OK with me…..none have been successful.

  37. Yoko

Dear Louis I am most happy with the blackberry turtleneck sweater. This blackberry is the most beautiful of colors in your knit. I hope you would please consider this color for your short sleeve sweater. I live in California and wear your short sleeve Whisper Knit sweaters all year long. I can only wear the turtle neck a few days a year. Thank you for your beautiful clothes.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Yoko….I doubt that the short sleeve sweater will be reordered again as sales this time around were very slow. Since there were many request for me to bring back alabaster I would have thought that color and black would have done better. Since the long Cardigan is coming in Feb in Perfectly pink and navy I thought those colors would have sold better too, but you never know?

      1. debra

        Dear Louis,
Will the dusters be coming with matching sleeveless shells? or are there other sleeveless crewneck shells coming to go with the dusters besides the short sleeved WK tops?
The sleeveless high necked shells are sold out in small sizes and have been for awhile now. Same, for the long duster, long midi skirt, and many of your pieces that we have all been acquiring for years in a variety of sizes and colors.
Find something you love and buy it in every color ~ the adage I was raised with and that has continued to get me in trouble 😉

        thanks,
        Debra

      2. Connie

I bought the alabaster and love it! People don’t know what they are missing. Very useful sweater under jackets and toppers.

  38. Debra

    Louis,
The midi skirts are a hit! I hope we won’t have to wait until next Fall for more skirts 🙂

But for those who may have been on waitlist for size small === keep your eyes open!
I actually received a duplicate order accidentally of my two midi skirts, one in each color, in size small. It would have been tempting to keep them as they are completely sold out, but not honest, so back they went today. Hopefully, we will hear of some lucky Linea fan receiving her WK midi skirt in Blackberry or Gray on waitlist. I know how it feels to wait for my Linea items and how quickly they sell out. So, hope to hear some happy news from some lucky lady very soon!
    Best,
    Debra

  39. Ruth

    Hi Louis,
I’m wondering if you could share the size that Jacque takes in the new WK tunic with straight bottom and side slits. The garment measurements on QVC.com seem too small. I usually do well if I order the size that has worked for Jac. Thank you.

    1. louis dell'olio

Jac was wearing the xxs….ENR garments stretch a lot so the measurements may sometimes seem small.

      1. Ruth

        Thanks for that information.
        You’re the best!

  40. Tricia

Thrilled to hear that verdigris necklaces on their way!!!! I have not received as yet my goodies from your last visit but they all should be here in a few days..Coming is both wk pants…I was afraid to order but desperate for some good pants…When one of the models pulled her pant out from thigh area that is when I ordered them…If a good fit I will order more…I have the blackberry and black flower blouses coming, and gray and blackberry shirt coming….LOVE the blackberry color!!!! I will order new coat coming but not sure what color to get. Decisions decisions………

    1. louis dell'olio

WOW Tricia…they are taking a long time to get to you!

      1. CarlyTwila (aka Susan)

Yes, mine are taking their good old time to get here too.

  41. Debra Kurtz

    Louis,
Since so many of us are looking towards the reefer costs — especially the Port – how many pieces have been ordered?

With the verdigris fish and chain, will unkinking it break it, or gentle twisting to straighten? I would think this would show beautifully on the Port and BlackBerry in addition to the aqua mist? Or would the contrast be eye blinding?
    Many thanks in advance,
    Debra

    1. louis dell'olio

Debra….I’m hoping that adjusting the chain will not be necessary….if it does do it gently…..I think the Green Patina will look splendid on the Port and Blackberry! and a zillion more colors.

    2. louis dell'olio

Debra not allowed to give that info, but the quantities are limited.

  42. luvitorleaveit

Louis I missed the Mardi Gras necklace the first time but I ordered it as soon as the ladies on the forum put out the alert that it was posted. How beautiful and colorful it is, I feel like brightens my complexion just like the alabaster necklace which by the way I wore today with my spice drawstring dress. It’s 90 degrees and sunny here in NYC and my alabaster necklace was just twinkling and sparkling to no end. I wore the India pendant last Sunday to church with my slate green chemise dress I was going to ask if there were any bracelets coming to go with these beauties but I see that you are designing a brass bracelet which would be excellent. I’m still looking for a bracelet to wear with my alabaster necklace too any suggestions. Your pieces definitely draw attention.

    1. louis dell'olio

I show the gold multi wire cuff and the fine wire cuff in gold or black coming soon with also work

      1. luvitorleaveit

Thanks Louis I will order it.

  43. gapeach57

I just read the posting of the great news that the green patina Fish and Eutruscain (sp?) necklaces, and am so excited they came out. It would have been a beg disappointment if they weren’t to be. Now, I will haunt the website to be there when they come up to buy. I had bought several items with the hope these necklaces would go with them. (I also really like the Autumn Mist sweater with them.) I am really looking forward to getting them. Thank you so much for going to bat for us on this.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear gapeach, this was really a group effort! The buyers could have easily cancelled it, and the factory could have said it’s too much trouble, but everyone hung in and gave it their best shot……sometimes good things do happen.

  44. Debby

What bracelet would go well with my gorgeous india pendent, do not see the black trapeze necklace posted? Missed it the last time!Have a good year everyone!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Debby….I’ve been showing the wide wire gold cuff, but it’s not ideal. I will have to come up with a brass ox bracelet!

      1. Debby

That would be perfect and snapped up by all of us that own and love the necklace! Thanks

  45. Debra

    Dear Louis,
My midi skirts have arrived and I LOVE them!! I have already written my 5 star review on the Q. I think I would love to get the skirt in Port but the blackberry is indeed a very rich color as well. The heather charcoal gray is going to get so much wear as it goes with all of your previous winter white, black and scarlet red whisper knit pieces. I did get the matching turtlenecks (charcoal gray in regular TN and blackberry in the Waist Whittling TN) and have ordered the charcoal gray scarf. Again, I am really looking forward to putting the Port and Charcoal gray together as well. I am 5’5″ and 137 lbs and the Small looks amazing – not too snug, doesn’t pull or accentuate, hangs smooth. So, I would say that the size small being for size 6 – 8 means that it runs true to size. Although it is in the 80’s and humid here, I wore it in the house last night and it is so soft and comfortable. I am spoiled by Whisper Knit; sweaters from other sources are scratchy. It’s a pity that the skirts have not been purchased by the buyers compared to pants/leggings, but I think that they are a great look and do hope that the returns will be low so that the reorder will be high (and soon). It is much too hot to wear these knits outside, but as others have said, and we have all seen, there is no way to delay on pieces like these.
    Best,
    Debra

  46. Mimi

Just received the blackberry skirt in xxs and the matching rib turtleneck in the xs. WOW! I’m speechless! The color is exquisite and the fit, to perfection. As I had said in the past, when I buy your pants or skirts I have to take them in. Not this time. The Midi skirt, you custom designed it and fitted it to my body. I truly do have my own designer. I don’t know how (actually I do) but you outdid yourself this time. I also picked up the mauve swing cardi. I now look as good as Kate, just not as tall. I also received the Alabaster necklace. Beautiful. Now, hopefully I’ll get the Blackberry. I don’t want to be greedy but in this case, I must.
I hope Jac is doing ok or better. Hopefully, she is somewhat back to her regular eating habits. As far as her back, day by day. Please tell her I missed her on your shows. The shows are not the same without her! Stay well.
    PS: Left reviews

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Mimi….it seems the clothes are arriving slowly one day at a time, but I’m happy everything worked out for you, and you are pleased with everything! I will definitely pass along your good wished to Jac…..and you’re right….the shows are not the same without her!

  47. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I just received my wk port petite pants and wk port matching tunic. It is a spectacular outfit by any measure. I also look like a sylph in the outfit. I cannot wait for the port reefer coat.

  48. Jeancp

    Good Morning, Louis.

I have it in my mind (not sure how) that you will be offering some pieces in velvet this season. If so, can you give a hint? I can only imagine how splendid the quality, colors and style that outfits in velvet designed by you would be!
Thanks, and best wishes to you and Jac,

    Jean

    1. louis dell'olio

No you must be dreaming…they did not select any of my velvet sketches.

      1. queendiva

Very disappointed that your sketches for anything in velvet were not selected.
I will continue to enjoy the Linea items I have from past seasons and hope for new next year.

      2. Joanne

I purchased a few seasons back your black sequin skirt and top. I love those pieces. I wish you could design some new black sequin pieces. Any possibility? I wear them a lot during the holiday season. Lately I have been wearing the black sequin skirt with your wk pointelle peplum cardigan sweater from two seasons ago with lots of pearls. I own both the black and white pointelle peplum cardigans. Fabulous outfit!

      3. Carol

I need a velvet tunic in ruby red, but I’d take any color. I still am wearing the green and black ones with the organza flower pin. I love your stretch velvet. Grrr I have only received the swing sweater in camel and green. Beautiful green.

        crdlb

  49. Beryl

It’s in the 90’s here in SE North Carolina but I bought the new WK tunic. Love it and will wait patiently to wear it. Probably not until November. The tunic is a winner.

    1. Linda

I too am a North Carolina “golden girl” who LOVES your designs and can’t wait to see the wine leather jacket (to match the pant and sweater I ordered earlier). But I would LOVE it if we could purchase the baret hat your lovely wife and models always wear. Is that possible? Thank you again for all you do for us!

      1. louis dell'olio

Dear Linda, I order my berets from e bay or amazon……also when ever I see an interesting color in the stores I pick it up…..so I’ve been collecting them for a long time.

  50. Pamela

Hi Louis. I received the Mardi Gras necklace , which I did not need but LOVE! Also very anxious for the verdigris trinkets! Louis, don’t fear..your WK tunics will go. Possibly..the ladies are like me,living in 92degree weather today. Can’t bear to think of a sweater right now although I know I risk snoozing and losing. You’re the best!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Pamela….where do you live? 92!…….I’ sure you can’t wait for a little fall.

      1. Pamela

Hi Louis. I live in the sunny south. Will be 94 next wk. But no complaints considering the wrath Mother Nature has taken on others this season. Prayers. I will absolutely be placing orders for fall. One of the Alabaster leather jackets/total look is calling MY name. A very sharp outfit Mr. LDO. My taste to a tee! Thank you.

      2. Teri

It was 99 and stormy here in Southwest Oklahoma this week. 70s next week! I will be putting my tunic order in, but I am washing all my whisper knits and making decisions on color. I love that Paradise, but my red wks covered a twin bed already! I did order the scarf to get a sample of the color. Will there be anything new to go with the olive ponte pant? Deciding on a coat color as I only need one.

        1. louis dell'olio

There will always be things in my collection to go with the olive pant.

          1. Teri

            That is a comforting thought!K

  51. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

I hope this message finds both you and Jac doing well. 😀

I was going thru some of you shows from the summer. I noticed on the show from July 10th with Katie and Angela was wearing a copper fishie!!! Will we see that one this year? I hope so.

    Thank you,
    Bernadette

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bernadette, the fCoppermfish is coming next year.

  52. CC

Louis the black enamel fish is a WOW! The enamel chain is perfect. I have been stopped two times by women wanting it! Enjoy the metallic colors also–but the black enamel is the unexpected star.

Please do more colors in the enamel fish. Also any chance of getting the fish bracelet reordered in new colors. Lois dreaming I’d fish tail earrings. Just a cute little tail swinging… Maybe, a combo fish bracelet with enticing tail earrings. (Hey a girl can dream*).

Louis the new ENR WK tunic with long sleeves is priceless. Going back for seconds. Here’s my last request–same WK tunic sweater with short sleeves — pretty please:)

    1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

CC, I second that motion. The tunic with short sleeves…swoon…

  53. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, my WK tunics and pants arrived today. I ordered just the port and paradise red in the tunic sweater thinking I have plenty of black ones. But, this tunic is so splendid, I went back and ordered the black even though I have a half dozen black WK tunics of various styles. Wow! I hope this sweater sells splendidly and gets reordered in many colors. I think this straight bottom tunic along with the swing tunics make the perfect foundation for one’s sweater wardrobe. I love the WK pants also. I ordered the petite 2X which is my usual size, but will need to stalk the pant in 1X. I won’t return the 2X. I like them so much that I’ll roll the waistband and wear high heels to accommodate the excess fabric, LOL. I think even in the 1X I will still have the loose vogue-ish fit. These pants are fantastic! I will be writing up rave reviews this evening. Thank you!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Deborah, I wish the tunic had sold better then it did. I doubt it will be a reorder. It’s avail in every color and every size, so it probably won’t make it unless there is a sudden burst of sales…..

      1. Kate

It will sell better (in port, for sure) when the new, matching reefer coat is available. It’s really unfortunate that you’re not allowed to do a real runway show with all the coordinates available at the same time.

      2. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Well, I hope as temperatures cool, eyes are opened to the glorious tunic. I can’t wear mine yet here in Florida, but first cool day I know what I’ll be wearing! I knew I’d love the port. I ordered the paradise red because red is our company color. I was surprised to discover how much I like this shade of red. I hope it’s not a one-time use of the color. I would love to see more of this particular red, especially in some summer options.

      3. Kate

Also, I think that if the new midi skirt came in port and in black to match back to the tunics, more would have sold. I know, as much as I love the WK pants, that I would have loved that particular skirt/tunic look.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I had to choose which bottom would be in Port and which in the Blackberry. So I threw the dice and decided the pant in port and the skirt in Raspberry……there will be a Ponte slim pant coming in Oct in Blackberry to go with the Tn with the waist whittling ribs….I tried to cover all bases with the minimum styles.

          1. Kate

While I have you, will there be a reorder at some point of A253411, the classic WK pull on skirt? Except for Scarlet red, it’s mostly gone!

            1. Michelle

Thanks Kate, I had the same question. It’s great to have WK skirts in different lengths.

              Michelle

            2. louis dell'olio

As of now no, but I keep asking them about it!

      4. Goldie76

I adore my tunics in Port and Paradise Red. I’m so in love with both colors! As I related earlier, the Paradise Red was a real surprise — not really a red (and, yet, a kind of red) but hovering over a fuchsia range.

The weight of the tunics is superb; quality speaks.

I absolutely love everything I received this season. Those Abstract Print tops are sublime.

  54. Beryl

    Any news on the vertigo?

      1. Beryl

        fingers and toes crossed.

    1. diane228

Beryl- Sorry to be nosy, but what’s “the vertigo?”

      1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Diane, I think she means the green patina pieces – the ones we’re all waiting for breathlessly.

      2. Yvette

She probably typed “verdigris” originally. Isn’t SPELLCHECK great?

Louis, does this mean that the 3rd time was the charm and we will indeed have verdigris jewelry?

          1. Yvette

OK, my fingers are still crossed!!

  55. Blinddogs

Louis, now that I have become a port-a-holic with all the wonderful new items in the port color, my closets full of greenies may get jealous. Will you be having any new or re-order items in a new green color???–Blinddogs

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Blinddogs….I have suggested green for many of my new spring garments and the buyers consistently drop the green choice. They keep telling me greens don’t sell? It’s very funny since Green, from Kelly to lime, is a must have color according to QVC’s fashion forecast.

  56. Connie

The Sienna top was my current purchase, but what really got my attention was the new reefer coat. I own all three colors in the last coat and have the trench in olive. I’ll be buying the reefer, at least in the beige . The fabric is superior and the fit is amazing. My question is, I wear a 12 in the trench and a 10 in the high collared one. Which should I order in the reefer? Thank you for your continued attention to detail and all of your faithful followers!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Connie….since the trench is an easier fit coat I would have guessed the opposite. If you got a 10 in the coat with the gold nugget buttons than I would say 10 in the Reefer Coat too

      1. Connie

Thanks for the advice. I’m looking forward to ordering it!

  57. Sylvia Pickich

Hi Louis! I purchased A267883, the Whisper Knit Color Block Cardigan in grey on clearance. I like the look in the presentation of the matching crew neck, which is not available now on QVC. I have Fog t shirt, and the Fog knit pants, but that is not the grey in the sweater. I have been looking on ebay for the crew neck. What is the name of the grey in the sweater, so I’ll know what to look for?

    1. Teri

Isn’t it heather grey? I have found lots of Louis’s blues that match that sweater. I wear it with the heather grey bootleg pants.

      1. Teri

Oops! I meant Charcoal Grey. I need to mind my own business.

        1. Sylvia Pickich

No, that’s fine! I think the model had heather grey pants on. I know Louis has several different blues on QVC right now. There’s that bluebell top.. You know how you see something a certain way, and you WANT it, even if it’s hard to find. I came upon the sweater, probably just as the colors in the whisper knit short sleeve top changed to the new colors. The QVC model for that sweater is in the grey still, even though it isn’t available anymore. I thought the color was fog, but my fog pieces are different.

          1. Grace

Sylvia, I hope you don’t mind my jumping in with my two cents…The only grey I’ve found to match the sweater is A267863, which Louis paired with it for the show (the video is still live on QVC). I own both pieces and they’re beautiful together. I have many Linea greys, but none match the sweater like this blouse does. That shirt is sold out, unfortunately, but you might get lucky on Ebay. I will be interested to hear what Louis says…

            1. Sylvia Pickich

I looked at the comments for the blouse, and they are calling that “pewter”. I’ll be on the lookout for that. After Teri talked about the heather grey, I realized I had on leggings that color at work today, with a animal print black/grey shirt. (and my black fish…) I came home and tried on the sweater with it, and it looked good. Thanks for all of your help and suggestions!

  58. Karen in WA

Looking at the heather WK v neck, It looks like Angela is wearing a port TN. Mary Beth states that TN is in the show. However there is no Port TN. Was she wearing a port TN or was she in the Blackberry TN?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Karen, Mary B was incorrect. The Tn Angela was wearing was not in the show. She confused it with the blackberry TN that was in the show. Angela was wearing the A72448 Port Th with the Heather Port V neck and port WK pant.

  59. Kate

As luck would have it, my WK pants arrived (paid for faster shipping and QVC turned around order in no time) just as temps dropped to the low seventies giving us a (short–just a few days) reprieve from a terrible SoCal heatwave.

I love them. Just love. The fit is so sleek, but also so slimming. I could have sized down (lots of stretch) but I like the looser look of my regular Linea pant size. I’m wearing the black ones to dinner tonight with a skinny tee and your denim jacket of many years ago (with the flouncy back detail. It will be like wearing really elegant pjs.

The matching tunics have not arrived but I’m sure they’ll be wonderful additions to my huge WK collection.

Now, about that new reefer coat…

  60. Eva

By the way , I was watching a cable channel called ‘Ovation ‘ & it has a series called “Year In Fashion” that is currently going thru all the shows from the 1980’s. I saw you & Jaque at the end of your fall ’87 show! You were designing for Anne Klein then. Though younger, obviously, you both looked fabulously in love! So darling. And the fashions are timeless.

  61. Eva

You have shown a wide woven gold belt with some of your creations. Do you have that available on QVC or another site? I have been looking for a similar belt for years. I’d love it in silver too!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Eva I found it on e bay years agodn3s

  62. Katie Lyles

The trapeze necklace is posted and taking a waiting list. I am only viewing the last 3 post so forgive me if this was already posted.

  63. Victoria1

Louis…will Mardi gras necklace ever make another appearance…missed it twice…dont want to wear my gorgeous print tunic without it😞

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      I honestly don’t know

    2. Tylerpoo

Try looking on Ebay for the Mardi Gras!

  64. Anonymous

I received my Mardi Gras necklace today. Thank you..Thank you!!! It’s as beautiful as everyone said it was. I can’t wait to wear it on my upcoming Mexican Cruise. Louis… thank you so much for making sure that another order for this gorgeous necklace was placed so the ladies who missed it the last time could own it too. I love it. 😍

  65. Beryl

Love that floral blouse so much I just ordered the blackberry to go with the midi skirt. I most likely will wear the shirts like a jacket. I consider my haul an early birthday present.
    Love
