    Hi Louis,

I received my celadon necklace yesterday. Wow! So beautiful. I wasn’t sure what to expect as I know seeing it online and tv wouldn’t do it justice. Simply beautiful. Wish it got more of a presentation.

Any more celadon pieces (like tops) coming? I’m tempted by the dress, I just don’t wear dresses much. I’m 5’5”, do you think it’d be ok to go with a petite if I want it a little shorter? Or will it fit differently in the body too?

Yesterday I wore my new swing top in bay leaf. Love!! I wasn’t sure how bay leaf and ginger would look in person but they are both beautiful rich colors. I knew I’d like the dark chocolate and black. Wishing I got the porcelain.

The top with the flounce hem is so cute! But in an adult way. Pretty and feminine, not cutesy. Love it! The red is such a pretty neutral red. Also got the black.

Since I live in WKs, I was excited to get the new tunic style with pockets. Camo and coral are beautiful!

I’m still waiting to order a few more pieces. I want that blouse with the fancy sleeves but can’t decide between black or ivory! I get so overwhelmed with choices sometimes, mainly because I want everything!

Anyway, thanks as always for the beautiful clothing. (((Hugs)))

Louis. I have been waiting for the Linked Faceted glass Bead Necklace, will it ever return? I just re-watched the presentation, and you said ” I will have some prints for this spring that these will go with.” I have the bright one and the black and blackberry blouse, and I am trying to decide to get the alabaster blouse, but i’d like to know if I can get the other necklace. They are very very pretty, and I get compliments on the one I have.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Karen all the colors were reordered and delivered. Have they sold out?

  3. Barbara Hoch

Louis, I love hearing all of your stories and memories as I have been a designer for many years for dog apparel of all things! So keep telling us– you have so many wonderful memories! Funny, too!

    1. louis dell'olio

Where do you sell you doggie attire? I need a fleece sweater for Annie….she gets cold.

Dearest Louis:. I haven’t written since Jac’s passing, no words felt enough at such a trying time. God bless you for continuing your work, and sharing your talents with all of us. Today I am compelled to write here and tell you that my husband and I were also married at the Little White Chapel, 18 years ago April 15th. There must’ve been a reason that I was supposed to read your post today. How amazing to find another person sharing that experience! We insisted upon being married in our car, heard it was possible! I don’t think I even removed the seat belt lol. Thank you for sharing your life with Jac with all of us. My thoughts are often drawn back to this page, hoping to find that you are still here, and surviving amidst such grief.

  5. Ruth

    Dear Louis,
I received my clothes from the January 31st show. Everything is amazing. The blazer and pants fit as though they were custom tailored for me. And the style, cut and proportions are ideal for this moment in time.
I really like the style and fit of the moss crepe tunics. I hope you bring more of this top maybe with a jewel neck or crew neck which I think looks very current too. I like the long sleeves because they sit nicely under a cardigan or jacket but can be pushed up if I wear the top alone and want the sleeves shorter. I wasn’t sure if I would like the color Porcelain Blue because my TV and monitors made it look much brighter and more blue than it is. In person, the shadowy turquoise that it is turns out to be is one of my favorite colors in a top because it brings out and deepens the color of my eyes to look almost teal. I’m wondering if you have other pieces in that color coming in your collection? I will love it if you do.
I hope you know how much we all appreciate you. You really are a treasure.
Continuing to hope and pray for all good things for you, Ruth

    1. Ruth

I fear I buried my question in my previous post.
Are you going to have more pieces in Porcelain Blue coming in your collection?

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Ruth. I test new colors to see how they are liked before I would redo it.

        1. Ruth

Oh well, I will hope for it to show up in the future…
          Thanks.

Hi Louis, As someone who lives right on the ocean, I’m wondering if you received the tsunami warning on your phone this morning?

    1. luvitorleaveit

I just heard on the radio that it’s not happening I never got a tsunami warning on my phone. They announced on the radio that the accu weather put out a tsunami “test” earlier then retracted it. Good grief I work two blocks from the East River in lower Manhattan basically surrounded by water!

      1. Ruth

        It was so bizarre!

    2. louis dell'olio

No…..I was in the city working and didn’t know about it until I turned the news on driving home. As if living isn’t difficult enough….now we get false nuclear bomb warnings and false tsunami warnings

      1. Ruth

        So true!

  7. Kate

    You just keep outdoing yourself!

My suits (I ordered both) arrived and I feel like an Armani model in them. And can we talk about the new dress with the side ruffle? So slimming and elegant–even in the ivory (how do you do that)– but also very cool and unexpected. Once the reviews come in, that dress is outta here. And the new triple strand bead necklace in celadon is like staring down into a tide pool–it’s just magical. I also ordered the new fancy sleeve blouse and honestly, I sort of thought I was over sleeve details by now, but this blouse is different due the fabric and to the drape. It looks like a 400.00 silk blouse. And the nude pink has to become one of “your” colors. Finally, I don’t do prints but I could not resist the new butterfly print top and skirt. I adore the fit of the top and when I wore the skirt today with a simple black tank, I felt well dressed but also totally comfortable. It’s a strange print in that it’s bold, but somehow also subtle–if that makes any sense at all.

Looking forward to the next wave!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Kate….I totally understand what you are saying about the print….It’s all the fine detail that subdues the boldness, and the balance of dark to light.

      1. Cathy in PA

Dear Louis, Just reporting in on my order from your show … as expected I love the cowl neck sweaters, and the Rhubarb one is my memories of Jac sweater now. Clove is a lovely color! (I’d ordered the sweaters on the last show but had to return and replace as I somehow got the wrong sizes) GINGER is as pretty of a shade as I envisioned, and the pleasant surprise of the box is the Black/Ivory Butterfly print set! Even for short, round plus sized me, this set is a winner! I was a bit worried when I showed Walter last night and saw that “look” on his face … and when I questioned him, his “it’s BOLD” answer, with a grin. But today I tried it all on, and asked for a second opinion … a big grin, and a solid “Oh, that looks NICE”! Such potential for separates when traveling is a terrific bonus! Skirt + simple black WK sweater = casual evening; top & black pants = done. Both pieces together, and a bunch of long ropes of pearls, pearl bracelets, pearl earrings = Party 🙂 I find myself tempted by the Delft Blue version … THANK YOU for making this all so easy for us !!!

  8. Joanne

    Hi Louis
My Linea Ivory pants suit arrived. I guessed right on the sizes. The suit is so flattering especially with last season’s whisper knit jersey tanks in black as well as ivory. The ivory tank is a perfect match. The suit is flattering as well as slimming. I will leave a 5 star approval on the QVC website for both pants and jacket.

    1. louis dell'olio

Joanne I am so happy you love your suit…..more then you could realize.

      1. Barbara C.

        Louis,

Is that tank, I believe the one she is referring to is A287618, coming back? Would love to buy in the ivory and black. Thank you.

        Barbara C.

        1. louis dell'olio

No it hasn’t been reordered, but another tank in WK is coming
. I don’t remember if Ivory is one of the colors…..black for sure.

          1. Barbara C.

            Thank you.

  9. Jules

    Dear Louis,
I wanted to say Thank You for showing up and doing your show. I cannot even imagine how hard it must have been, and the strength it took for you to be live on air. You didn’t try to pretend everything was fine but instead showed us your true heart. I believe that the most courageous thing you can do in life is to show up with an open heart. Thank you for sharing you and Jac’s beautiful love story. Not all of us will experience that and in this scary world seeing something so pure and filled with grace is both uplifting and life affirming. You will never know what you and Jac have meant to me and so many of us. Thank you Louis, for the years of beautiful clothes and shows, and the love you and Jac continue to inspire.
    Jules

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Jules, That you so much for your beautiful words. I know Jac would be so happy to know she has touch your lives in a loving positive way. That’s why she did what she did. She was a giving sharing lovely person. I can’t begin to tell you how much I miss her every second of every day……I still can’t believe it’s true.

  10. Terri (TexasMom1)

Hi Louis! New colors for next year? I would love to see you new top with the ruffle bottom from the last show in NAVY! I adore your navy! In anything!!!!

Sending you a hug and a kiss.

    Terri

    1. louis dell'olio

Well, Terri….I have no idea that any of the styles will be reordered since they are all, except the blazer, avail in almost every size and color, but navy is always one of my staple colors.

  11. Donna Aflague

    Louis,
Your account of the way the models and Jayne helped ease your transition back on air warmed my heart. What a gift friendship is! The remembrances you received were all thoughtful and special but the portrait of Jac is a one of a kind treasure. These women have earned new respect in my eyes.

    This quote seems most appropriate…
“The things we do outlast our mortality. The things we do are like monuments that people build to honor heroes after they’ve died. They’re like the pyramids that the Egyptians built to honor the pharaohs. Only instead of being made of stone, they’re made out of the memories people have of you.” ― R.J. Palacio

Louis! Oh my goodness , I received my new clothes, everything looks gorgeous! But my absolute favorite is the ivory suit. The jacket is beautiful and the pants fit amazing. I am 5’8 and I received the size 8 pants. I was afraid they would be too Short with heels. I tried the suit on and it looks custom made. I have just recently discovered your line and am so happy with the quality and design of each piece. I am recently retired and lost 20 pounds , I feel beautiful in your clothing . I’m off to write my reviews. Thank you!

  13. Karen

May the days ahead be kind to you and may your beautiful memories comfort you. Look for her in the things she loved, I know you will find her and maybe even feel a continued bond with her spirit. I was touched by your bravely sharing your grief and allowing all of us to share your sadness for just a little while. I don’t pretend to know either of you but your love for each other was obvious and your authenticity and candor that night was so touching. You have so much to continue to give to the world, may God grace you with continued success, the support of loved ones and small graces to ease your loss.

  14. Joanne

    Louis
On the QVC program guide, they have a one hour Linea show scheduled forI February 17 from 6:00 a.m. to 7:00 a.m. It is for their President’s Day Celebration. I hope this is true. I always enjoy buying presents for myself when you have a show. I am currently waiting for my new ivory suit. I intend to wear with the black as well as the ivory jersey whisper knit tanks you did last summer.

It is so wonderful of you to share your live with the graceful beautiful Jac on your website with us. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joanne….I just got the request for this show! I sent my buyer an e-mail to confirm, because she had told me something else…..a 4am to 6 am Show. I’m hoping this is taking it’s place. I will update when I know all the facts.

  15. Clacina

    Mr Dell’Olio

I have already received my items I ordered the items from the show, and I love every one of them.
I received the pull over top with sleeves in the Nude Pink and was hoping/wondering if we are to see this colour again?
My dress (Ivory) is fabulous! I wear an XL, and if fit perfectly – my husband is very impressed with all my items.
Oh and the faux wrap top – it gives a great hourglass shape. Well done!
Thank you so much for all your work.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Clacina, please don’t forget to leave your reviews. I’m so happy you love everything!

  16. queendiva

    Hello Louis,
My order arrived in NJ this afternoon. Super fast regular UPS!
The fabric and fit of the new boot cut pants- really special. I have no need for a pant suit, but I’ll bet when paired with the blazer the look is stunning!
I hope there are more items in Cypress coming our way- my new favorite neutral!
No one designs and tailors a pant like you do. The best!!

  17. Judy

    Louis,

You are so loved as well as Jac was. She is truly missed in all of our hearts.

I love your tunics. Please keep offering the great tunics in purples, golden yellow and blues.

Since, I’m tall and have trouble with length, I would like to see more midi skirts.

Your show with Jayne was so exquisite on all levels.

My blessing to you in this trying time.

  18. Ruth

Stayed up for your loving tribute. Purchased tops mostly. Please add soft pale 2grey colors and a pretty light green with the addition of oatmeal for your sweaters. I’m so proud of you, Louis. Best regards to you, Trish

  19. Jane J.

Hi Louis, I received my Jac blazers in black and white and the matching trousers. When I tried on the outfit, I thought, this is just lovely! I know there was some concern of the blazer fit on those with a fuller bust. I am plus size and full busted. I sized up to the larger of my numeric sizes and the fit is spot on — no pulling or gapping. I really like the fabric — such a great hand, soft and silky. The shoulder pads are just enough for the blazer to hang perfectly. I even love the lighter weight lining material in the jacket — again, perfect. The trouser pants are very nice. Even though I am 5’9″, I will have to hem them an inch or so (no problem). I am so very pleased in what you and Jac have created — thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Jane, that’s the fastest I’ve ever heard anyone getting something, but more important I’m so happy you are happy with your jacket and pant. Please let the ladies know. I’m sure everyone would like to hear how you liked the fit

  20. Ceicei

Bought 7 items, expedited jacket in black and black print top. Love both. I am curvey and the jacket fits great in the bust and looks great opened. The print top fits perfectly and the sleeve fits well especially with it cuffed. Going back for blue and hope my white jacket changes from wait list to in process. Need to go out but wanted to give you feedback. I will post reviews when I return.

  21. Sharon L

Louis, I was so heartened to see you back on qvc during this time. I’m hoping that the cowl neck sweater that was the December big deal is coming back. I originally ordered 2 and went back for a third. It’s my new favorite and I hope it did well. As to colors I would request moss green, just the color that is a nuisance in my backyard. Also, years ago you did a Caribbean blue that was the color of an oversized whisperknit- I think it didn’t sell well cause it was boxy and big. However the color was fabulous, I always get compliments.
    Be well.

  22. Irene

Louis, I hope you will consider someday having what you’ve written here in this blog published into a book about you and Jac and your wonderful relationship and life together. You write so beautifully.

  23. KathyJ

I would like to see more olive greens and camels for fall. Those colors seem to be forgotten.
The butterfly print in the skirt and top from your show this week is really special.

  24. carpentress

Louis, you were extraordinarily brave your first show back. I can’t imagine how hard that must have been. I’d be surprised if there was a dry eye in the audience…

Regarding colors, I’ve noticed no one has mentioned your perfectly pink. No one does pink like you and it always, always is the first to sell out. I don’t understand why more of the pink is not ordered…. Anyway, I hope you do something in that wonderful pink.

    1. louis dell'olio

I usually do it more for spring then fall. I believe it’s avail in one of the fall WK styles.

  25. Amanda Perkins

I wish I could write something so wonderful about Jac that it would make you feel so uplifted. Unfortunately I am no writer but I want you to know that my heart breaks for you. Your angel is watching over you and pushing you on to do what you do so well. You are a wonderful gentlemen and QVC is lucky to have you. God Bless You.

  26. Yoko

Louis my favorite Linea colors are the ones you call “blacken tones”. I feel appropriate and approachable in the blacken colors you create for us. The super ponte pants and matching whisper knits in blackberry this year are my happy outfit. Please consider creating more juicy blackened colors for next year. Pomegranate, Italian Plum, and Blueberry.

    1. Bobbie

I would agree! These colors are so flattering. I would also request a very deep, dark rose.

    2. Ruth

I agree! Please add “Blackened” teal to the list.

    3. Lisa

Agree that th blackened colors are great. Your blackberry is a wonderful color and I’d love some ponte pants in those dark colors.

    4. Gayle Maples

      Dear Louis,
The show was beautiful. You are so brave. You are such a kind man and so talented.I missed seeing Jac. She had such a beautiful glow and was so graceful. She lit up the screen when she was on wearing your beautiful clothes. I will wear her blazers and think of her.
As for colors for August and September, I like muted sage, dark muted olive, antique gold, soft grey, muted raspberry, and black. Anything you choose will be perfect.

    5. Teri

I replied with the very same suggestion this morning, and it did not go thru. Imagine my surprise when I found out I am now a part of a parade! I am learning to wear my blackberry pants as a neutral, I think successfully. The blackened colors of your leather motos a couple of seasons ago would be a dream. So good to see you again!

  27. Carol B

Louis you are a person of such courage continuing on as Jac wished for you to do. Your angel is watching over you now and you will hold her in your arms again some day. Until then take good care of yourself – surround yourself with those who are dear to you and remember to eat well (as my grandmother would have said). God bless

  28. Kathy

    Louis
So good to see you. I picked up a few things and am excited for future shows! Bless you! I am glad Jayne was with you. She is such a dear person.
As for colors—I always like red! And a good navy. Purples, obviously are another option. Hope that helps. As a petite, I can’t wear ypur long duster but would love a longer cardi that would work! Thanks
    Kathy

  29. Paula G Murray

I was so sad to hear the news of Jac’s death and felt compelled to contact you. Years ago you and Jac visited Hawaii to do a trunk show for Liberty House and if you remember I hosted a Tea for you at The Halekulani Hotel. It was a wonderful time and I still have that beautiful photo of you, me and Jac adorned in Hawaiian leis. That photo is proudly displayed on my desk and I think of you often. I have followed your brilliant career from the very beginning. I still wear some of your designs from the ’80s – they were made so well. Now I am living on the East Coast in Newport, RI and continue to follow you on QVC. Although the price points are so much more reasonable the quality and design is still amazing. I too have suffered some personal losses this year and there is no real easy way to get over them except to treasure all the happy and beautiful memories. Jac was truly an angel and you can take comfort in knowing she is right there by your side looking over you. Hopefully our paths will meet again as I will continue to keep you in my prayers and thoughts.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Paula….Thank you so much for reaching out to me!I remember that trip well since it was the one and only time we were in Hawaii. I also remember my luggage was lost and I had to go to Liberty house and get some clothes to wear. In those days I was very slim and could buy off the rack a 40 regular. I have a photo of Jac and I but it has faded. I just sent it to a place in NYC to have them try to bring it back to life. I would love to see your picture……regards, Louis

  30. Joyce Adams

Louis, it was so good to see you again. My heart broke to think of how difficult it was for you to “come back”. It was a wonderful, moving show with your usual fabulous fashion line up.

I would love to see jewel tones, purples, and dark greens for the next color season. Fuschia or magenta also.

    Love and hugs

  31. Ceicei

Beautiful show. Thank you. Also, I want to comment on what a wonderful group of loving, caring women the Linea ladies are. It gives me comfort to read their stories. It makes me proud to be a part of this group. You and Jac have brought out the best in all of us.

  32. TrishM

Hi Louis, I just loved the show, you did really well!! And I love Jayne. I was wondering, during the show you pronounced Jac as “Jack”, but I thought it was pronounced more French, like “Jock”. It of course doesn’t matter, just wanted to be pronouncing her name correctly (mostly now when I’m saying my prayers for you). Thanks! Trish

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Trish, both are correct. I would call her Jacques [actually the men pronunciation] even though she spelled it Jac…..She liked anything I called her, but Jack is what most called her. Professionally it was pronounced Jack….She like Jack.

  33. Abby

Thanks for the beautiful show. As difficult as I know it was, you and Jayne were great together and I love the new pieces. Regarding the new 3/4 sleeve whisper knit tunic…it appeared very fitted on the models (even a little small on Angela). I would normally wear a medium, but would appreciate your thoughts on sizing. My only concern about sizing up is that the neckline may be too big. Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Abby……I would stay true to size. Yes, it was small on Angela, but Angela has gained some weight which she is trying to work off. The stylists are still giving her her old size, but they should actually be giving her a size larger, which would be her correct size. Remember, ENR is very stretchy. The neckline in a larger size would only change 1/4 inch.

  34. Linda

Love you Louis. Thank you for coming back to us. I am sending you a virtual hug and praying for an easing of your pain with time.

  35. Nancy S

Hi Louis! In response to your request for color ideas…….jewel tones never seem to be a fad, but always flattering and well received. The ladies had some great ideas about the plums, purples and blues in different hues. Hope that helps. Your show was wonderful and I hope a great relief for you now that it’s over. Jayne was outstanding! The clothes were gorgeous (my credit card can attest to that). Please take care. As you always say………much love………..well, back at you from your Linea Ladies.

  36. Karen in WA

Louis. 10:00 PM here on the west coast was almost prime time, so I was with you, live all the way, crying of course. I think Jayne was the perfect host. So grounded and professional. I loved the show and all the clothes. A big hurdle and you did a great job.
I ordered the Pool “T” shirt in advance, and the color goes with the Aqua jeans outfit from a couple of years ago which is my favorite. I got the long navy WK I already have the black and winter white. Love them!
My favorite is the necklace with the little gold leaves and wood beads, anxious for that. With all of that, are you going to have a jewelry show?
One question; the wrap top you said alabaster/blue and black/cream. Is that alabaster as in your WK alabaster? It looks like blue and cream.
Lots of love from the PNW

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Karen…..I’m not sure if there will be a jewelry show. There was supposed too be one, but scheduling has gotten complicated due to my late availability.. As for the Alabaster/Blue and Black/Ivory…..Both the black and blue effect the Ivory and Alabaster so they aren’t exact matches to alabaster and Ivory but still work.

  37. Donna Aflague

    Hi Louis,
    You asked about colors…
    For tops:
Blue – The blue Jac has on in the Christmas tree picture is stunning. (Like Jac!) Her pants look interesting too.
    Mulberry
    Deep violet
    Rose
Bottoms: I always gravitate toward the same old thing (black, navy, gray) although I did try your wine pants. Could you do a lighter shade of say mulberry or violet and a much deeper shade of the same color on the bottom? I don’t know what people will buy.
What ever you come up with will be perfect. It always is.
    Donna from California

    COLORS
Published on January 31, 2018 in From Louis.
I have to do colors for next August and Sept….no rest for the weary! What colors would you all like to see for tops and bottoms and new sweaters?

You asked for our thoughts about colors and items. I have only one special request; whisper knit short sleeve version of A287609 the Wk Full Needle Tunic Tank only with Linea short sleeves. I totally adore this item and find it a must have. But,I So need it in a short sleeve version. Please A28709 with short sleeves: suggested colors— Lapis blue, deep mauve/rose color, and of course we MUST have this item in black.

Additional colors for WK or other Linea items: watery blue-green shade like the petroleum color you did before and plums

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The styles have already been chosen so adding another is too late, but the colors are what I have to decide on

  39. JBCinSD

    Dear Louis,

As so many others have said, you were wonderful on your show. Glad you have passed gotten through the first one so brilliantly.

Colors for next fall: I love dark chocolate and forest green. Also a warm, dark grey (not steel grey).

  40. JBCinSD

More advice about doing the laundry. I use a sheet of ColorCatcher (there are several brands) in every load of non-white wash. I’m always amazed how much dye it absorbs—dye that would otherwise have gotten on the other clothes. Keeps my colors true.

  41. Sheesh

Louis, Jac’s favorite poem by Robert Frost, “Stopping by Woods On A Snowy Evening”, is also my favorite poem. Who of us who saw him in 1961 can forget when he read “The Gift Outright” at JFK’s inauguration–which he wrote for the occasion. I was 11 years old and I still remember him reciting his poem–he was almost 87 years old.

“Stopping By Woods On a Snowy Evening”

Whose woods these are I think I know.
    His house is in the village, though;
He will not see me stopping here
To watch his woods fill up with snow.

My little horse must think it queer
To stop without a farmhouse near
Between the woods and frozen lake
The darkest evening of the year.

He gives his harness bells a shake
To ask if there is some mistake.
The only other sound’s the sweep
Of easy wind and downy flake.

The woods are lovely, dark and deep,
But I have promises to keep,
And miles to go before I sleep,
And miles to go before I sleep.

    Robert Frost

  42. Sheesh

Dear Louis, your show was fabulous and so poignant. We all cried along with you missing dear Jac.

As for laundry–use less soap then recommended–too much soap stays in the clothes and makes them dull. Always use an extra rinse, too.

As for temperature–use Hot for towels, and try your “whites” on Warm and see how they look. You could add an Oxy dose to wash to brighten the whites.

Wash your colors and darks on Cool or Cold, and do darks separately from the lighter colors. I take many of my things out out of the dryer before they are fully dry and hang them up.

    Hope that helps.

If you have liquids for the laundry, always do a full load & use 2 Ozs. each of liquid for your wash (detergent &. color safe bleach). I wash everything on cold & rinse on cold too. When I was pregnant with our 2nd son & gave birth to him I left written instructions for DH near the machines so he would know what to do. I spent 5 days in the hospital.

Louis, I am so proud of you. What a wonderful show…a beautiful tribute to Jac…fabulous clothes…and promises kept.
Lots of love, strength and hugs

  44. Sharon

Hello Louis, I can’t believe I stayed up for the whole show and you were wonderful considering it’s been such a short time since Jac’s passing. I have to tell you that your new jewelry collection put me in AFIB I am so excited to buy those new pieces. But I’m still waiting for the seed bead necklaces so please tell me they are still coming. PS the blazer and trousers set are Fabulous and I know Jac was smiling up there in heaven. So when do we expect jewelry because I need to start saving now.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Sharon…..The triple strand faceted glass beed necklace was just posted in the three colors. I do not have dates for the rest of the jewelry. All I can say is it was shipped to QVC, and from my understanding received. The seed bead necklaces in NEW colors will be in May.

      1. Sharon

Thank you are you feeling better today now that QVC show is over. Talking about movies does Phantom Thread sound interesting to you?

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Sharon we didn’t get much sleep. By the time we packed up my samples and accessories it was 3:34, and I couldn’t go right to sleep so i put on CNN…..not much else at 4am. Turned it off at 4:30….got up at eight and Aaron and I went for breakfast then I drove her home in NYC to pick up her Maltese Sweet Pea and the took her home and then I drove home to CT. I’m rather exhausted. I’m going to eat leftovers from Kate’s get together…YUM….light a fire, turn on a movie and probably fall asleep. Tomorrow I have to bring Lili to the chiropractor and do colors for next August and Sept!

      2. Sheesh

Louis, your faceted bead necklace and earring set was posted before your show started last night! It was there at the bottom of the page–despite sorting it on NEWEST FIRST, it stayed at the bottom of my page. Weird how that happened.

  45. Cathy in PA

    Dear Louis,

Walter and I were watching and cheering you on last night … and we thought you and Jayne did a magnificent job. You expressed your love with Jac so eloquently and heartfelt. I watched most of the show through a teary fog, blessing you for continuing to bring such beautiful clothing into our lives.

Here’s a little chuckle for you: My own dear Walter learned to take over the laundry a while back, for a number of reasons. It’s been a rather long learning experience, but mostly successful … so I know you can do it too. I must say though, Walter’s laundry explorations are one of the reasons I buy so much Linea … one is never quite sure of the results of those explorations 🙂 My new pieces from last night should be on the way shortly, lead by that lovely Ginger color!

    Hugs and Thanks and Love,
Cathy & Walter (currently missing in the basement with a couple baskets of laundry … he has a TV down there lol )

    1. louis dell'olio

I never know when to use the cold, warm and hot settings. When I do whites I’m afraid the hot will shrink my white tees!I need help from Walter!

      1. Clark55

Oh, Louis, you gave us both a hearty chuckle! Laundry Advice direct from Walter: “I always use Warm water (so I don’t have to make any decisions lol), use an unscented, uncolored laundry soap to avoid allergies (Free and Clear is one), and … I like oxyclean products to brighten the whites … BUT all my Tees are colors, not white so I don’t have to worry about keeping them white” …. My advice remains the same … When you have a Walter in the laundry, just have lots of extra clothes, preferrably Linea 😉

You’ll get better laundry advice from the ladies here; Walter’s will likely be funnier …

        Hugs and Love,

        Cathy & Walter

        1. Cathy in PA

Oh that’s SO odd … how ever did I become Clark55??? No, it’s just Cathy & Walter; there is only 1 Walter; he’s unique 🙂

You asked about new colors … I’m in love with that new Ginger, and have the new Moss Crepe top coming to me. So that’s my request; more Ginger; so flattering, and so wearable with Navy, Black, Espresso, Winter Whites, Summer Whites … a great travel color!

          Hugs,

          Cathy in PA

  46. Viki Barnes

    Dear Louis
I just watched your show and cried right with you your love for your dear wife is so beautiful I pray for your peace as you forge ahead and keep your proromises I am fighting my own cancer as I write this and my dear husband Gary has been so wonderful and an amazing caregiver. We have been married for 39 years and I say this often I have always loved my husband but I fell in love with him all over again this year! He has certainly shown that the word Love is a verb not a noun. Words can not express my condolences for you
Your true love was shown for Jac God Bless you Louis

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Viki….I will pray for miracles for you…..Jac’s only worry was leaving me, never about herself. She would say, “how can I leave you? You don’t know how to do anything.” and she was right. She always carried the load of taking care of EVERYTHING, and left me to my work. I can tell you I wish I was more of a partner where that was concerned. She spoiled me, and when she passed and was free, and in her Mommy’s arms….little did I know just how little I knew. It makes everything everyday a struggle to get through, because I never know what will be thrown at me that I don’t know how to handle. I joked on the show that now I have to do the laundry, and don’t know what settings to put the machine on. I do have someone to do this for me, but it was something Jac always did, and I now want to do it. I need to do it as part of the new routine I must create for myself. The best advise I could give you is to make sure you and Gary are partners in everything….even the most mundane tasks can become overwhelming and mentally exhausting……Viki…..miracles do happen…..My sister in law has had lung cancer for 9 1/2 years and her scans have been clean all of that time!. I will pray that you too will have Gods miracles coming your way….much Love, Louis

Louis it is hard to imagine you without Jac and even harder to imagine not being able to see her incredible sense of elegance, style and grace as she modeled your magnificent line of clothing. Jac was a timeless beauty, both inside and out, and for me a style icon. She could wear a paper bag and look gorgeous. I so admire your strength and courage during this difficult time and please know that you have the love and support of those of us women who have followed you both on QVC for the last 18 years. While it may never be the same I think I speak for others who want you to continue on your life’s mission to design real clothes for real women and continue to do it so brilliantly. My deepest and most heartfelt sympathy go out to you and to all of us ladies who shared the joy of your visits and now the sadness with Jac’s passing. You both are loved greatly and she will be missed enormously by so many.

  48. Judi

Congratulations on a wonderful show. I felt like it was poetry in motion, from your loving tribute to Jac, Robert Frost’s words, the amazing collection, Jac’s blazer, the warmth and kindness of Jayne, the models. And ending with “Promises to keep…”
You came through a difficult hurdle with true grace.
I hope you feel a sense of relief, gratitude and the spirit to continue forward.
I will continue to keep you in my thoughts.

  49. Judy M

Bravo Louis you cleared a Major hurdle which must have been so difficult, but you did it wonderfully. Jac must have been so proud watching over you. Take Care and GOD Bless!

  50. Rose Ann LaFisca

Dear Louis, “Promises to keep….” What a precious way to move forward and honor your commitment to Jac. She was definitely your muse, but you had to know you shared her elegance and sophistication with women like me who looked to her elegant style for direction and confirmation of our choices. She will surely be missed by all of us, but we are so grateful to her that she urged you to continue your work and carry her classic esthetic into your future designs. God bless and know we are with you.

  51. Carma Schultz

Dear Louis, So saddened to hear about Jac! I lost my dear Mother in August, and I know the emptyness their absence brings. Some people just can never be replaced, and they shouldn’t. I hold dear all the beauty she bestowed by her love, and the many treasures she left me from her journals and notes she was so good about writting. Sounds like you have some treasured written words you can reflect on from Jac. She will alwys be in your heart, and her beautiful smile will always bring one to your face when you think on her. I pray for God’s comfort upon you, as you grieve. She truly will be missed, as she was such a part of everything you did for all of us ladies. I purchased both the new blazers you presented last night, not only because they are exquisite, but also because you mentioned they were truly designed by Jac. I will think of her, whenever I wear them!

  52. Terri (TexasMom1)

Louis, the show in the early hours today was just amazing, and I am so glad I taped it. I hope you know we are all pulling for you. The upcoming jewelry is absolutely mind blowing. So happy for you that you are BACK! I am sure many of us felt Jac was there in spirit for you. God bless and take care.

  53. Kate

  54. pat

Dear Louis, I was so sad to hear of your loss of Jac. I always watch your show. Was always looking for Jac to see what she was wearing. I am 72 years old and love tailored clothing. Thank you for your class , not only in clothing but for the love showed for your wife. know that so many care and are praying for you.

  55. TourEiffel

What a wonderful tribute to your Wife last night. A special poem…also one of my favorites!
May God give you peace and comfort during this time. You were so gracious and loving during a very difficult presentation.
May your special talent continue to give us beautiful designs,

  56. Joyce

Recorded your show 1/31/18@1am, as it is past my bedtime. Just finished watching in the morning. You did your “ job” in honor of Jac. So brave of you, Sir. I send you prayers and a hugs. Your clothes are beautiful, Louis❤️

  58. Donna Aflague

    Louis,
Thank you for continuing the extremely helpful sneak peeks even as you are grieving. As always, the new clothing is beautiful and the jewelry just fabulous. I too was with you last night. You were so courageous and your love for Jac so evident. Please know that you did not cry alone, we were all with you. I think of you and Jac every day.
    Much love,
    Donna from California

  59. Carolyn Muse

    Dear Louis,

What a wonderful, wonderful show this morning. Thank you for your promises. We love and appreciate you so much! With tears flowing, my applauds were loud and from the heart. Thank you. I am continuing praying for your strength.

  60. Octavia

    Louis, I loved Jac ❤️
    Praying for you🙏🏽

  61. Pam George

I watched your show last night on QVC with Jayne. You and Jayne were the best during this time. Thank you so much for the beautiful fashions that I am sure are a reflection of your and Jac’s strength, courage and beauty. Heartfelt prayers are sent your way, now and always.

  62. Ruth

    Dear Louis,
How fitting that you opened and closed your presentation with a piece of favorite poetry, for the entire evening was poetic – a testament to your love for Jac and your courage to carry on without her.
Continuing to wish you all the best,
    Ruth

  63. Jackie

I was one of the ladies keeping you company during your show. Your opening message could not have been more heartfelt and touching. I must also add that Jane was an excellent host. She was respectful, sensitive, warm, and added some humor at just the right time. Well done. And the models, there is no doubt they love you. I greatly admire all the work you had to do to prepare for the show, including the sneak peeks, but you made it through this first hurdle of moving forward. I did my share of buying clothes, but I must say, the jewelry this spring is spectacular. The designs range from elegant to edgy and I am loving the options. I was happy to see you last evening (morning for me) and you made Jac proud.

    1. Connie

I echo what Jackie so beautifully said. I’m lucky to live on the West Coast, so was able to finally get some sleep! I will always wear Jac’s blazer remembering her and her wonderful sense of style and grace. Your new jewelry is amazing. I bought the chocolate bracelet in anticipation of the chocolate petal necklace set. Every time I thought I was through shopping, you presented something else that just made sense to have! Your courage and sensitivity left me with hope along with tears. You are so special to all of us. Much love, and now rest.

  64. Carpentress

Louis, you were very (VERY!!) brave last night. I’m sure there were very few dry eyes watching. You are an inspiration.

  65. Kate

The jacket and sneakers. Just so brilliant, and just so Jac. You did so well last night under the difficult circumstances. Very heroic. Rest and recover and know how grateful we are.
