Dear Louis, we are just back from Charleston and my lovely salsa skirts were waiting for me. They will be so much fun when this snow leaves in southern Wisconsin! Ordered the inca earrings this morning. Safe travels.

Louis, The Beach Glass Nugget Necklace J353997 is Posted on Q in the Rose – the Lilac and the Khaki. But the Aqua is not available! What happened to the Aqua?
    Seka.

    1. louis dell'olio

I’ve been told it’s not loaded yet. They really should have waited to post when all colors were loaded….not my business.

      1. Seka

Thank you, Louis! Have posted this info on the Linea Forum!

  3. Somersault

Louis, drive safe! Looking so forward to tonight’s presentation as well as the remaining ones and seeing Jennifer. You will be wonderful!!! oxoxo Cat

    1. Karen In WI

Yes, safe travels to you and Jennifer! We are buried in snow here, but I think it’s freezing rain there? I’m glad tonight’s show is a little earlier so I won’t have trouble staying up. Really looking forward to seeing the caneel blue boho set and that new beach glass nugget necklace!! Have a great day dear Louis. Hugs and love!

    2. louis dell'olio

      thank you!

  4. AZ-Donna

Hi Louis! I have a question about the new dress coming in the prune color. Does the fabric have much texture? I love the gauze crepe because it has such lovely texture so I was curious about this fabric.
I also wanted to mention that I enjoyed the story you posted about Jac and the zinnias! I will be planting pansies this summer, along with the many other Linea ladies, but I’ve already planted my zinnias for Jac, as their meaning is “thoughts of friends or thoughts of missing friends “. She is forever in our hearts, as are you.
    Best wishes and safe travels.
    Donna

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Donna….the fabric has the hand and surface of a silk Cady. which is a weighty silk as opposed to a silk crepe de Chine, so the surface is smoother than the crepe, and it is little heavier too.

      1. AZ-Donna

        Thank you!

  5. Debra

    Dear Louis,
Your new maxi dresses in the “prune” (dusty plum) and the blue look amazing…..also, I am waiting for the denim dress. I ordered some knee length rayon/span bodycon skirts to wear under it so that I will have the length and the coverage over my knees. (you could totally make these too, elastic waist, pull on rayon/span, 26 inches!! to wear under all of the tunic tops)
I do hope that the dresses will come this month. It is such a pleasure to have great dresses to choose from! I can already see how often I will be pulling my Linea “uniform” pieces to wear very often.

Be well and wishing you good memories,
    Debra

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debra, the denim dress WILL be in the shows. Only the items i mention will not be.

  6. Chris S.

Most of the things on my list this time are the ones not scripted for these shows. I guess I’ll have to wait for my Linea “to me from me” presents for my birthday next Sunday. Then again, every time I get a delivery of Linea items I feel like it is my birthday!

    Have a safe trip!

  7. Pat J

Hi Louis. Do you know when the stream pebble crepe crops will be available? Thanks and I love all of your new items. as always.

  8. Pamela

Good morning Louis. Can’t wait for new things, but a bit confused. I am most interested in tunic and bottoms with chiffon,…and denim, when are those available? And I believe you said the seed bead pieces would be a different month? Thanks so much. Pamela in the…yes we too are cloudy with rain today.oh well…

    1. louis dell'olio

The jeans will be on these upcoming shows, so watch out for the postings on QVC starting Monday night. I never know when they will post things. I would guess the tunic and crop pant will be avail for my next May shows, but again, i never know. They are delivered so I would think May. The seed beads are for May or June……can’t remember

      1. Pamela

Bless your heart!!! Thank you Louis. I know we must seem more trouble than we’re worth at times. Like a bunch of needy ,greedy children. Lol..(Should change that to I).but we love you.

  9. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

You probably have said the answer to my question but when will the floral boho be available?

    Thank you,
    Bernadette

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      May

  10. KathyJ

Love the new khaki color in the crinkle georgette blouse–will you ever do a WK tank in that color??

    1. louis dell'olio

don’t know…..I’ll have to wait and see how successful the color is first

  11. Jen

Louis I see the boho skirt is coming in a ceenel blue. Can you describe what shade of blue this is?

  12. Shari

    Louis
Would it be a posibilty to bring back the short sleeve WK sweater from the Fiesta group??
I think it would be a big seller and such a pivital piece. Especially in colors to go with all the Boho skirts. I would love to see the sleeve length a little longer for us senior citizens though.

    1. Shari

The short sleeve one shown on Cotia with lime boho skirt

    2. louis dell'olio

Shari….you and i would think it should be a pivotal piece, but it didn’t sell.

      1. Jane J.

Louis, The WK sweaters from the Fiesta group are some of my all-time favorites — great colors — LIME, AQUA, HOT PINK, NECTARINE. I have the mock necks, V-necks, open-front cardigans, etc. and doubles of those in Aqua. Even though these are from 2013 (!!) I still wear and love them.

        1. Carol in FL

I, too, wear that WK top several times a week. I have multiples, especially in black, but would love to have more in new colors. Maybe you could do the same v-neck and same weight whisper knit, but with a little longer length and the buyers may go for that. Please keep trying. It is a perfect little top! Thanks, Louis!

          Carol

          1. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

The V-neck WK from the Fiesta year – in black – is my “uniform” piece for rushed work days. I was fortunate to get 6 before they sold out. Add in the fiesta colors, my total of that top comes to 12. I’d say this is one of my all-time WK favorites. It was such a great in-between length. Not short but not tunic either. Those were in the original WK with the hemmed bottom. Would it be possible to do this classic in the ENR? I wore my robin egg blue tank today and was thinking how nice that type of hem lays under a cardigan or jacket.

      2. Yvette

I want to add to this Fiesta WK love fest! I have the sleeveless, short sleeve (V-neck and scoop neck), and cardigans, in all colors. For me, they’re perfect – sleeve length, overall length, weight. I’m able to wear them in all but our hottest months, with the exception of the sleeveless pieces that I can wear all year. The Fiesta colors are perfect for my coloring – all of them. Please don’t change anything if they ever allow you to bring them back.

      3. Shari

So sorry to hear that. So frustrating when there is such a good piece and “they” decide that it can’t be.
Well, one can hope that another will come along for all my Boho skirts (of which I own 12)

  13. Somersault

WOW! That’s all I can say! So much to chose from! Just, beautiful, Louis! All the best to Jennifer on her first time out. oxoxoxo Cat

  14. Chris S.

    Good Morning,
What is the sizing in the peasant shirt? Does the fit have some ease due to the peasant style?
    Thank you!

    1. louis dell'olio

XXS to 3X, and yes it is easy. I will add this to the post!

      1. Chris S.

Thank you. These should work for me. For some reason, I get a better fit in blouses that are letter size than number size.

  15. KathyJ

How wonderful that you will have a Brand Ambassador to give you more time to create and recharge your batteries! I will miss seeing you as much, but am glad you will have someone to help you through the hectic on-air schedules.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jennifer will be doing those weird hours….and some hits that I had to travel 6 hours for to sell one or two items. She lives relatively close by so it will be much easier for her to do. I’ve been doing it for EIGHTEEN YEARS…….It’s long overdo. Jac has wanted this for me , for us, for a long long time. I can’t help but think Jac arranged this…..All of a sudden…..out of nowhere…..there was Jennifer!

      1. Goldie76

You’re right, Louis. This was your dear Jac working things for you. I firmly believe this!

  16. Dawn

    Hi Louis,

The Caneel shirt and boho arrived today.Tried the alabaster bead necklace with the shirt and it looks great. I have the vintage ruffled sleeve paisley top/boho-A216530/1.Tried the caneel shirt with the paisley boho and added the mardi Grais necklace and the colors matched great with the older skirt. So happy when your older items work with new items.
Early this morning I asked whether purchasing the petite denim dress could be worn as a tunic topper with your leggings or capris. I’m 5’6″.

    Thanks, Dawn

    1. louis dell'olio

I thought I answered that….Maybe someone else asked the same thing? Since the reg is 38″ and a petite would be 3 to 4 inches shorter it would still be a long tunic, but I think it would look really cute over a legging. For my TALL ladies who think the dress is too short for them…..that could be a good solution. Since it’s a 3/4 sleeve already, buying the petite would be a great option as a long tunic over leggings. I will mention it when I sell the dress on my 10pm QVC2 show Tuesday night.

      1. Dawn

Louis, Didn’t mean to ask a question that was already answered.Don’t want to buy an item, send it back and it goes against you.
        Thanks again, Dawn

        1. louis dell'olio

No problem Dawn and I’m thankful for your consideration, but if something doesn’t work for you, never worry about sending it back.

      2. Grace

Louis, I’m one of your tall ladies who can’t wear this as a dress, so I’m intrigued about this option. I don’t wear leggings, but I do wear tunics over slim pants. Do you think this dress would work as a tunic without side slits?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Grace…..it’s not like it’s cut straight across. It does have the shirt tail bottom that I would have put on a tunic too. If you are considering this over slim pants like my A265615, I think it could work. I think it could even work over my new, white crop pant in the Super Lite Ponte, my new boot cut white jean or my new white Capri length jean coming next month. You should try the petite length which will give a more tunic look.If you decide to try it let me know how it works out.

          1. Grace

Thank you, Louis. I missed that detail of the shirttail bottom…sounds like this option is definitely worth a try. The fabric sounds wonderful & I love the style. I have all the pants you mentioned, except the jeans, but I suspect that will soon change 😉 I will let you know how it works out. Really loving all you’ve brought us this season!

  17. Joanne

    Hi Louis
I intend to buy the new dusk, ivory and black tunics and their matching crop pants with chiffon on bottom. Will they be offered on your QVC 1 show this April. Do you think they are packable if if roll in the suitcase? I love these outfits as they look to be quite versatile with the ability to dress up or down.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne….since I have not received the scripts for the shows as of now. I can’t answer when they will be presented. I would think if you roll them they should be fine.

      1. Carol

I notice your 4/19 show says 2 hours, but it’s 1-2pm? Normally it doesn’t matter, but I’m out of town, again! At least I’m not in India this time!

  18. Debra

Ooops – sorry – I see that it says the denim dress is 38 inches in length for the xxs, so yes it is above the knee.

Louis, have you ever considered creating a tube skirt, skinny fit, but just below the knee, to go under your tunics, denim and other dresses above the knee, — even with the tunic sweaters and the long cigarette coat? I know that your fabrics would totally work and you could do black, navy, gray, pink, light blue, – Port!! <3

That is what I will be looking for to go under the "bag" styles.

    many thanks,
    Debra

    1. louis dell'olio

A tube dress….no. I don’t think I could sell a tube successfully beyond a 10 maybe a 12. A pencil skirt…..always, but if you look you will see even those don’t sell out in the plus sizes.

  19. Debra

Welcome Jennifer!! Your smile Louis is marvelous – you both look so excited and happy about this new expansion of your designs and social media access.

By the way, the denim dress looks very cute – but I didn’t see a length. It looks like it is above the knee, but wanted to check with you.

    many thanks,
    Best on your new endeavors,

    Debra

  20. Donna Aflague

    Hi Louis,
Would the camp embroidered shirt work with desert crepe pants ?
    Love these shirts.
    Donna from California

    1. Donna Aflague

Make that camo shirt. Darn autocorrect!

  21. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

I’m hoping you can clear something up for me.

I ordered the green pompeii necklace as soon as it was available. It arrived broken. I sent it back with the appropriate QVC paper work and asked for an exchange. I waited about a week and a half, called, and they informed me that my money had been refunded because the item was on waitlist. I ordered another and I am still on waitlist.
Then I decided to call back and ask why when I had one and it broke because the crammed it into such a tiny box that they didn’t immediately waitlist me or better yet wht they don’t have a few set aside for such an instance and send out a replacement??? They told me that it isn’t their people that make those decisions. They said it was your vendor that decided not to send a replacement necklace.

Is that true? I feel like they were shifting the blame.

    Thank you,
    Bernadette

    1. louis dell'olio

Bernadette…what do you think. Every package that leaves the factory is in perfect condition, carefully wrapped in tissue. We know nothing about what goes on their. We certainly didn’t refuse. The complete order was shipped to QVC. If they placed another order we would ship it, Why not?

      1. Bernadette

I told them I would check with you. I knew they were fibbing but I had to check before I call them again. I just had to verify. I hope you understand.

        Thank you.

  22. Ingrid

    Hello Louis,

Would your sleeveless wing collar blouse in aqua go with the ruffle skirt in rhubarb?

    Many thanks.

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes….they may not be an exact match, but you can certainly wear them together.

  23. diane228

Louis-I think this spring/summer collection had been your best ever! Many thanks
for all your beautiful designs. Regarding the re-order of the original beach glass
necklace could you please tell us the colors? Thanks!

    1. louis dell'olio

Cantaloupe, Fern are new and the original Blue is coming back

      1. diane228

Good grief-too many beauties to choose from!

  24. Shari

    Louis
I was just looking at the video on Q of the Boho skirt. Cotia (spelled wrong I’m sure) was modeling the lime skirt and also had on a matching t-shirt. Can you tell me ,please, the number of this t-shirt?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Shari. It’s a vintage Linea WK sweater from the Fiesta Group I did a few years ago. I wanted the women who still own the sweater to know that it works together. It is no longer avail. E bay ?

      1. Shari

Bumber! How on earth did I miss them? Nothing on ebay.
Perhaps these would be something you could bring back in all
the Boho colors ?? And in an elbow sleeve?

  25. Joyce Adams

Welcome to Jennifer! I am sure she will become indispensable to you. I was the exec assistant to the president of a minor vendor on QVC and I remember the first time my boss went to Q alone to present our merchandise. She didn’t think she needed any help, but was shocked by everything she had to do herself before presenting. With that memory I am delighted you will have a helper going forward. Looking forward to seeing Jennifer on air, but hope we will still see our beloved Louis as well.

    1. louis dell'olio

Don’t worry Joyce. I will still be making all of the major presentations and “hits”

    2. Jennifer

Thank you, Joyce! Yes, my role is only to assist and supplement when he can’t be there, because, as you know from your background, there’s a lot that goes into Louis’ shows. 🙂

Wearing pansie earrings today and thinking of you and your lovely family. Always will.

I may have missed it but will you please tell us colors for that fabulous new beach glass jewelry set? Thanks.

    1. louis dell'olio

navy, turq, orange, passion fruit, grass green

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

I’m confused; is this the nugget beach glass or another completely different one from the Nantucket original set?

        1. louis dell'olio

I was describing the new Carnival necklace

          1. Chris/Jazzmom

            Thank you.

      2. By the C

Great! Thank you. Will any be silvertone please?

        1. louis dell'olio

          no….none are silver…..sorry

  27. WNYGAL/APRIL

    Louis,
I would be willing to bet good money and one of my rhubarb custard pies that there will not be a single patio, deck, or herbaceous border in Linea Land this spring that is NOT sporting at least one pot of pansies waving their smiling faces at the sky in honor of Jac. In fact, I’d lay odds that it will now become a tradition. That is how much we grateful and fortunate owners of your lovely designs appreciate & honor your open-heartedness in sharing your life with us and the opportunity you give us to share back. Never doubt your purpose; you made one woman feel happy and loved for many, many years, and any sensible person would say that’s more than enough, but to know that you continue with your creative gifts to make all of US feel beautiful and happy is just gravy. And we ALL love that gravy. xoxo April

    1. Karen in WA

      AMEN

      1. Sylvia

AND, when we look at pansies, we will think of Jac….

        1. Goldie76

          Yes, Sylvia and April.

          1. louis dell'olio

Jac would LOVE that, and it would be so unexpected to her.

            1. Ruth

The pansy is the official flower of my town. Now, when I see them, I find I think of Jac and what a lovely person she was.

            2. Saphira

              Agree, Pansies for Jac.

      2. Chris/Jazzmom

Pansy comes from the French term — pense à moi — think of me.

Try to locate the ones labeled ‘winter hardy’, they will get leggy in the heat of summer, but you can cut them back; keep them in partial sun/shade & they will rebloom once the weather cools in the fall again.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris, Jac has some very old greeting cards she saved with both the French saying and the translation. One is on her mothers white writing desk in her room. I see it every morning and every evening. Sometimes it brings tears to my eyes,. It’s as if she new, and is telling me to remember her.

  28. Somersault

Louis, you have no idea the effect you have. My husband is 86 and worked in the design field and was very creative. He delights in your designs and your sketches and always asks when you will be on QVC. He adores when you describe your details that sets you apart from every designer on QVC. He delights in your presentations that are complete from head to toe. He comments that all your presentations are mini runway shows. He,always, points out that you were in the most prestigious building on Seventh Avenue, the creme de la creme! I am the recipient of your bounty because he encourages me to purchase even more of your designs. We live of the west coast of Florida and I find the selection of clothes to be very difficult. I am a New York woman, regardless of where I live and because of you, I am able to be beautifully dressed. Because of you, my husband has gone back to sketching which he has not done in many years! He has so much admiration for your strength in the loss of Jac and the way in which you continue. You have given him a lovely gift, not only a beautfully dressed wife but a remembrance of a time when he was young and vital and a treasure trove of memories that come alive once again for him when he was young, vital and creative. You have awakened a wonderful spark within him. So have no doubt about your purpose in life! Gratefully, Cat

    1. Goldie76

What a fabulous appreciation of Louis, Somersault! Of course I was impressed that your husband encourages to spend even more on Louis’s elegant fashions. Now THAT’S a genuine tribute to Louis’s genius.

    2. louis dell'olio

I know it wasn’t your intent, but you made me cry. What you have written is so beautiful. Please send your Husband my very best wishes.

      1. Somersault

Louis, I wrap arms arms around you for a very big hug! You have the biggest, kindest heart in the whole wide world. My husband said to tell you: “Go get ’em, kid! Let your light shine.” oxoxoxo Cat

        1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Somersault, Thank you for sharing such an inspirational post! And Louis, hope you noticed he called you “kid”. Sometimes it’s all about perspective. 😉 I too will be planting pansies for Jac. Sending love.

  29. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

I think you have the same purpose but now it has a new aspect. I know I have said this to you before but you shaped my life even before I knew who you were/are. Because of your designs at Anne Klein I had a sense of style. Now are a middle aged woman (honestly though, I really don’t know many 100 year old folks so maybe a bit past middle age) I have a renewed sense of style. In this day and age where anything goes you remind us that that there is nothing wrong with being classy, modest ( which I love that your designs are not made to reveal everything), and graceful. It makes me feel good when someone compliments me on my Linea outfits. And some days when I created a look on my own I’m so proud that I want to shout it from the rooftop… Louis inspired me!!! You are a mentor.

So… with all my rambling after a very trying day where if it could go wrong it did for what it is worth, I think you are amazing and strong and doing a terrific job. I keep you in my prayers.

PS… with today being such a chaotic day I decided I needed a Dr Pepper at lunch. I sat at my desk eating while trying to work, went to open my soda, and bam… it spewed like Mt. St. Helens all over my new Linea ivory pants. Thank goodness for shout wipes. And don’t you know the pants still looked fabulous for the remainder of the day which helped to disguise the frazzled mess on the inside.
    Thank you for being wonderful!

    Hugs,
    Bernadette

  30. Debra

    Dear Louis,

I cannot presume to know how you will define your purpose going forward, so I will apologize in advance if I overstep in anyway.

What I was thinking though was that you have chosen some purpose for now. To look too far ahead is simply not possible right now, especially as you can only look back. When watching someone you love deteriorate with a terminal disease, you think that you are grieving. But, from personal experience, with your loved one’s passing, it begins all over again, fresh.

The sharing of your history and photographs, stories, and tidbits of your life with Jac, is a purpose. Keeping her memory alive and a legacy of a remarkable and achievement-filled life, for your family and friends, is a purpose. Whether you create a scrapbook, or a digital one that you later publish like a photo book, or a long-hand written journal, you will have a place to pour your energy, creativity, focus, and love.

Jac will always be part of your story – looking back or ahead – and will continue to inspire you and all that you do. Living up to her faith in you will be part of your purpose.

    Sincerely,
    Debra

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra. I will read your words many times over. They ring very true to me. You didn’t overstep at all, but took a very courageous step for writing them to me.

      1. Debra

        Dear Louis,
Thank you for such a compliment, I am most grateful if my words were meaningful.
        Debra

  31. Linda in Ca

Dear Louis, Please never think you don’t have purpose. You make such a difference in so many lives. Your clothes give me such confidence that I have the appropriate outfit to wear and that I look great in it. I get many compliments from my husband and others when I wear your clothes, and many of these people spend a LOT more than I do on clothes. My husband Bob and I also love your stories. Thank you for sharing so much of yourself with us, for inspiring us, and for entertaining us. I have been so busy I haven’t had the chance to let you know that I love my new petite short sleeve maxi’s, black and the blue. They just glide on, feel wonderful and hide all my flaws, you are a genius. They also look great with a variety of your jewelry, my favorite so far is with the Mardi Gras necklace. You make my life easier and give me more confidence. I greatly appreciate all that you do for us and I know it can’t be easy lately, but I am sure that Jac is very, very proud of you. Love and hugs, Linda Newman

  32. Seka

FYI – The Ombré Tunic is available in new colours – Guava, Mango and Yellow/Navy – A263353. No photos.

  33. Eileen Holden

Hi, Louis, Just want you to know how much I enjoy reading the things you write, and I know everyone else does too. I love your new maxi dresses, but I just don’t wear sleeveless clothes anymore (believe me, it is not a pretty sight). I am wondering if the shrugs you had a few years ago would look good with these dresses. I have the black one. Or do you think wearing the shrug would ruin the look of the dresses? Thanks, as always

    1. louis dell'olio

Eileen, I think shrugs were made for dresses like these. I know there are many women who would like to cover there arms. You might also consider one of the Crepe gauze open cardigans or one of the crinkle gauze safari shirts worn open or tied as a light jacket.

  34. Elizabeth Gabber

Louis you have changed my life. I feel elegant in your clothes, and I love your classic styles and beautiful finishes. Love and prayers to you. Jac is here with us in some way, I am sure. Elizabeth Gabber

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Elizabeth. You don’t know what meaning your words have for me. Ever since I’ve lost my Jac I have been trying to find purpose in my life…..Jac was my purpose……Then I thought designing clothes had to be my purpose, but that felt very hollow…..I have come to realize my new purpose must be to help all women feel better about themselves through my work. If I can do that in some small way then I have achieved something in my life. You have given me validation….I am sincerely grateful……I believe, even in my darkest moments, that Jac is with me every moment of every day. I must believe that to get through each day.

Oh Louis, you so under estimate your value. Not only do your designs make us feel better about ourselves, but your giving of yourself to us makes our lives better. Look at these threads and the number of people that just want to talk. You are answering so many needs, and making all of us feel better on so many levels. Jac is truly with you.

      2. Sheesh

Louis, we think of Jac, too, and keep her in our thoughts. I was at the store yesterday and they had some beautiful pots of pansys and I immediately thought of Jac. I’m going back today to get pansys for my window boxes–in Jac’s honor.

        1. louis dell'olio

Sheesh, that would be so nice! I know Jac would and is touched by you for remembering her in this way.

      3. Donna Aflague

        Dear Louis,
Never doubt that you still have purpose. You make a difference in my life daily. Your clothing gives me the confidence I need to face each day. The sneak peeks and talk of fashion provides a welcome diversion from my everyday life -gives me something to look forward to and brings me joy. The stories you share about Jac inspire me to be a better caregiver to my husband who has Alzheimer’s. When I cry after reading the stories you share, it helps me release the tears I am holding on to. Thank you for being in my life, you help me more than you can ever know.
        Donna from California

      4. Carol

Hugs to you, Louis. If they’d give you a LIVE show, you’d be crushed under the weight of Linea Ladies love! Just saying…..

  35. Chris S.

    Louis,
You used to style the boho skirts with the classic pebble crepe tunic. I’m wondering if the newer pebble crepe tunic with the pleat in the back would work with the boho skirt or would there be too much volume? The white boho skirt is on it’s way to me and I’m thinking of the pretty colors of the inverted pleat tunic to go on top.
    Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris….It depends on you. I know you are petite so it may be too much for you….that said…..with the right attitude you could pull it off. It it starts to look too much….roll up the sleeves. You would be surprised what that could do.

      1. Chris S.

Thank you for your ideas. I just saw the new tunics you posted. Perfect. I love the pink and of course the black and ivory! Thank you, thank you for the 3/4 sleeves!

  36. Elaine

    Hello Louis,
I went up to the Tartan Day Parade yesterday, it goes up Sixth Avenue. (Wearing Linea, of course).
The highlight was the Tartan Terriers! About 50+ little Scotties scampering up the avenue with their owners….so adorable.
I thought of your 3 girls!
    See you soon, Elaine

    1. louis dell'olio

How interesting! I’ve never heard of this parade, and We were dye hard New Yorkers!!

      1. Elaine

Louis, they have a whole week of “Tartan” activities. There is a website with info.
It’s held the first week of April, runs from about 44th to 56th on 6th. Not nearly as crowded as St. Paddy’s.
Lots of tartans and bagpipe! Those little puppies with their short legs got a rise out of the crowd and certainly put a big grin on my face.
Let me know if you need a “walker” for one of your girls next year!
        Elaine

          1. Elaine

See you there next year with your Girls!

  37. Debra

    Dear Louis,
I think of you so often, but have not written, and am sending you moments of peace and pleasure of your memories with Jac. This is a long process and your designs no doubt reflect your love…..

With a question to the photos that you just posted, you mentioned a tunic (and crop pant) in Dusk. Will there be other colors? when would this be presented? Would you please give some more information about the fabrication, etc.

    many thanks in advance,
    Debra

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debra…..I will answer ALL of your questions tomorrow when I post the sneak peeks of these pieces. As for when it will be avail., the best I can say is it is scheduled for this month…..I never know anymore when the Q will script items in my shows or post them before hand. Now with QVC2 and outside hits {Inspired Style, PM Style etc.] I never know for sure until I’m told……Thank you for your good wishes. As you said it’s a long process….I think one that will reach into eternity.

  38. Chris/Jazzmom

Will there be any tanks in the indigo or alabaster color coming to work with the faux wrap skirt for summer?

    Thanks again.
    Chris

    1. louis dell'olio

Other tnan the alabaster tank under the safari shirt, not this season.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

I was thinking of wearing the alabaster top with the chiffon bottom (A276293) with the faux wrap skirt in indigo/alabaster. It might work.

        1. louis dell'olio

I think that would work perfectly!

  39. Ruth

The A288395, scoop neck hi low knit top with snap front has some new colors listed – black, calypso pink and island blue. I’m wondering if you could describe the island blue? Thank you.

  40. KathyJ

After seeing the new khaki color in the safari shirt, I made my order on a no shipping charges day. I love khaki in the summer (or any time) paired with black. Good with white and tan for summer. You always have the best colors.

  41. Shari

    Louis
I must tell you. I wore the lace top in white with black tuxedo trousers on Easter Sunday when I performed on my ebony harp, for 450 people.
I was so comfortable. Everything went without a hitch.
Thankyou for creating such a lovely top. Many compliments were paid

  42. Dawn

    Hi Louis,

You’re really on a roll this season. The new colors in the safari & boho skirts in the Lilac and Caneel are so soft and feminine. Love the upcoming jewelry too! My question: Will the blue in the new blk wildflower skirt/cool shoulder go with the Caneel? Hard to tell since each monitor shows different.
    TIA, Dawn

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Dawn, there are little tiny blue flowers in the black floral. Most are more of a corn flower blue, and there are some little flowers with aqua. You could wear the Caneel with it, but it’s not a match since the blue flowers aren’t dominate. It actually works better with the Rhubarb skirt where the aqua flowers show up more and are closer to the Caneel color.

      1. Dawn

Hi Louis, I enlarged your sneek peek and put the blk skirt up to the screen to compare. I could maybe use the shell with one of your older boleros over it. Anyways, I did order the Caneel shirt & skirt yesterday because I can always find something in my closet to pair with it. Of course pairing it with the new white ponte crops will work and also the new white tank you made to go with the lace tops.

I always feel put together, comfortable and often get sideways glances when I wear your clothes. Thank you for all you do.

        Dawn

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Dawn, you are very welcome….FYI, the Caneel blue looks good with Navy, Ivory, White, the Linen crops…anything in the Khaki and Taupe family like my Dk. Sand gauze crepe pant, Greys, and of course Black…..PLAY!

  43. Joanne

    Hi Louis
This particular show is not listed on your blog list. QVC 1 has you scheduled for a show on April 27 from 6:00 a.m EST to 7:00 A.M. EST.

I love your super ponte slim leg pants A298446 Regular and A298447 Petite. I bought multiples in both lengths of gray and black.
I hope these are being reordered. They are very flattering pants.

    Thank you
    Joanne Conway

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne, that show is going to be canceled. This show was booked at the last minute, and I realized it was very close to my May 2nd and 3rd shows which means i would have to be in PA on the 1st. There was no physical way I could prepare for these shows if I was there on the 4/26 and 4/27. Now I am going to have a 5/31 at 2:00am after my 5/30 at 10am. Not great times, but I don’t do the scheduling.

  44. Melissa

    Good morning Louis,
I just found out it’s free shipping day at the Q. Ordering all three new safari shirts. My question is, I have the maxi in chocolate and admiral blue. The island fuchsia is really tempting me but in order to change it up, I was wondering how you think it would looked if I got it hemmed to about knee length for a little summer dress. Or would it not look right? I am a little clueless about such things so thought I’d ask the expert.

  45. Debbie M.

    Dear Louis,

What month are the ombré tunics expected? I just want to know when to begin stalking for them? Thank you and have a nice weekend.

  46. JBCinSD

    Hi, Louis,

Have the WK pants been reordered? I lived in them (petite length) last winter.

    1. louis dell'olio

No….now I’ve done them 5 times and not one was was a reorder….That’s it for WK pants. The returns were very high. They will not buy them again. I guess the vast majority simply doesn’t like pants made in WK.

      1. Chris S.

Sorry to hear this. I was hoping for Heather charcoal grey. I just ordered a back- up pair of black. I loved this year’s style and fit.

      2. luvitorleaveit

I am sorry to hear that the WK pants won’t be reordered too. I was hoping for a nice grey too. V75W

  47. Bernadette

    Hi Louis,

I’m so excited that they posted new colors in the boho skirt and white!!!

Is there any chance you could sneak peek those colors?

    Thank you,
    Bernadette

    1. Nancy law

Finally got to order my white!!

    2. louis dell'olio

Yes I will this week end

      1. Bernadette

        HUGS!!!

        Bernadette

  48. Beth

Louis, I just love my new maxi dresses, the colors and fit are terrific! I have a question about the moss crepe fabric. Would you suggest rolling up the dresses rather than hanging them on a hanger? I have the moss crepe V-neck swing tops (A302557) and I roll them up as you have suggested and store them in my dresser drawer. Should I do the same for the maxi dresses or is it okay to hang them on a hanger?

Thank you so much for everything!

    Beth

    1. Karen In WI

I was wondering the same thing, Beth. I am tempted to hang them, but feel that maybe they are just a tad heavy for that and will stretch? I have folded over and hung the moss crepe midi from the fall and think maybe I should with the short sleeve maxi. It’s just I have to check for wrinkles then when I go to wear.

  49. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

Is the new whisper knit tank (A302609) in candy apple red the same red as the safari shirt (A214117) firecracker red? I am looking to wear the WK tank under the safari shirt. Would this go together or will the reds fight? Thank you!

    Carol

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Carol. If they were I would have given them the same name. They are different.

  50. Seka

FYI – Boho Skirt A70208 New Colours Posted on Q – Caneel Blue – Dusty Lilac – Khaki – no photos yet – and I think the White has been re-stocked. This is one of my favourite Skirts!

    1. Seka

The same New Colours are Posted for the Safari Shirt A214117 – no photos yet!

  51. Kate

I love, love the new scarves! The size, the luxe fabric, the colors–just so much fun to wear. And, the new petal necklaces. Wow. More is more so I tried two of them together (gold and brown) and yes, it was bold, but I loved the look which I wore with your black whisper knit dress. I also tried the gold necklace with the brown earring and that was great too. As someone said (well, you), you have to play with your jewelry.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Kate, I’m so happy to hear your enjoying your things. Isn’t it fun to have FUN!

  52. Tylerpoo

Dear Louis, will the new floral Boho skirts have a matching top like the previous ones or is there a new floral Boho skirt that is different?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The Boho is a reorder in new colors. They did not order the matching floral shirt. So I will be putting solids with the skirts.

  53. Dawn

    Hi Louis,

Will the sequin pants leg be slim or wide.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      In between

  54. Marla Reames

Louis, I received my replacement earring today! Thank you so much for taking care of that! Marla Reames

  55. CC

Tuxedo jacket plus 2 pant options. WOW! We waited, waited and waited some more and because we were so patient and never gave up we got the jacket and the bonus of 2 marching pants. Even better than just the jacket. Ahhhhhhh so happy And something fantastic to look forward to enjoying. Louis you are the best—thank you for continuing to push for this outfit. We love ❤️ that you think of us and always remember.

  56. Carol

    Louis,
I’m so pleased see how successful all your new jewelry has been. One of my all time “best buys” in your line was the set of four metallic ball earrings you sold that came in gunmetal, bronze, matte gold and matte silver. I’d really LOVE a new set that came with the shiny black, copper ox, green patina and rose gold, to coordinate with your gorgeous necklaces. I don’t always want a statement earring with the statement necklace Anybody else?

    crdlb

    1. louis dell'olio

Carol, I’m not doing a ball stud, because frankly they were not successful. I have no idea why. I too thought they would be perfect to wear with statement necklaces when you just want a little something…..However in July I am doing the “WEAR WITH EVERYTHING HOOP”. It is very similar to the hoop that came with the Scythe Necklace set, only instead of hammered it will be smooth. It will be sold in two sets of 4. The “Classics” and the “Exotics” which will have your Oxidized colors. Shiny Black will be one of the colors, but don’t remember with set it’s in? I think they are perfect to wear with anything or nothing.

      1. Carol

Oh, that’s even better! I love, love, love that hoop. And I love the sets. You’re awesome, Louis! I can see some future holiday gifts with those, too. I gave several people the ball stud sets and they, too, wear them constantly.

        crdlb

        1. louis dell'olio

These would make perfect Holiday gifts. Perfect sets of 4.

  57. Ingrid

    Hello Louis,

Please, please add a large hem to the sequined pants. We tall ladies (5’9″) often miss out on your pants. I would love to own a pair. Thanks.

    1. louis dell'olio

They can’t have a large hem or they will hang funny. The inseam will be 32….that’s the longest they will let me go.

      1. Grace

I’m 5’9″ and the 32-inch inseam is a perfect length for me. No complaints here!

  58. Sylvia

Louis, I got the exotic floral print top in black yesterday, and am wearing it to work today. The print is amazingly beautiful! I just want to tell you how much I LOVE it! I’m wearing it with the blackberry beads and gunmetal bracelet and earrings. I may not get any work done today, because I keep staring at the print… 😉

    1. louis dell'olio

That’s wonderful Sylvia. I’m afraid you are going to outshine all the other ladies….LOL

  59. Karen in WA

I received the twilight scarf today, oh wow, I am overwhelmed. Beautiful. I am sorry if you have addressed this, but I want to order the admiral blue dress, will it go with the Twilight tiger Lily shirt?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Karen, I think the two silhouettes together might be a little overwhelming since the skirt of the dress flares out. If the shirt were shorter they would work better, but as they are I think the proportion would be difficult unless you are extremely tall, and even then I’m not sure. I’d have to see these two pieces on.

  60. Irene

    Hello Louis,

Thank you for the exciting news about the tuxedo jacket and slacks!

  61. Ruth

Now that you’ve set my heart all aflutter with the anticipation of the tuxedo jacket and pants, I’m wondering what your take on a tuxedo shirt would be and if you plan to make one? I love the pleated bib but would prefer a version that didn’t have to be pressed at the laundry. Is that possible?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ruth, they didn’t buy anything to go under the tuxedo, and honestly it buttons high enough that you really don’t need to wear anything…. I would recommend a lace trimmed camisole, a shell or a tank. I’m doing some really spectacular jewelry for the holidays so you would need something simple under the tuxedo and wear great jewelry.

      1. Ruth

        That sounds wonderful!

  62. louise jazz

BEST NEWS I HEARD ALL DAY
Hurrah for the TUXEDO SET AGAIN
The original was stolen oo a hotel after I left hanging on back of door
I am soon glad THEY, are finally.listening to you.LOVE LOVE ALL my purchases from last visit. WHAT CAN I SAY, don’t have a MILLION BUCKS, but they make me look like I do!
    Thanks. LOUIS

  63. Ann

Louis, I had pebble crepe boatneck tunic on waitlist since February in khaki and merlot they were new colors. Today I saw that they were cancelled. I was looking forward to owning these tunics. I have a health issue that makes anything touching my skin excruciatingly painful and these looked perfect. Will they ever come in for me to try and reorder A288390 Thank you for your beautiful clothes I love each piece I own Ann

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes, I don’t know why QVC posts styles 3 months out when they will automatically get canceled. They will be coming

  64. Louis Dell'Olio

    Too early Seka

    1. Seka

      Ok, Louis. Thank you.
      Seka.

  65. Pamela DiMarino

    Hi Louis,

My scarves (yes I ordered both), the blk pet. maxi, blk. wildflower blouse and skirt all arrived today. The scarves are so pretty and will go with a lot of things including an older turquoise sleeveless maxi you sold several years ago. I’m 5’6″ and decided to order the petite maxi and it is a good length for me. The wildflower pieces have so many colors and the options are endless. I would like to know what you think about pairing the WK swing tank – A288394- with the wildflower skirt. I’m looking at both the Tangerine and the turquoise.

Thanks for all you do and the wonderful stories you write on your blog.

    Dawn

    1. dawn

I don’t know how I did that. OOps me. Louis, my question went under Pamela DiMarino’s post.

      1. louis dell'olio

Dear Dawn…I think the WK swing tank would be too overpowering for the skirt. You need a straight leg or slim bottom for the WK tops.A pencil skirt too.

        1. Janice Hoffer

Dear Louis, will you be bringing the boho skirts out in petite. Will you be bringing more boho skirts out in more prints?

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Janice, no they have not ordered the Boho in petites. I guess after selling it for 8 years of selling they don’t see a need to bring it in petite sizes. There will be a Boho type skirt in a print, and the reorder floral in new colors.

            1. Seka

Louis, When you Sneak Peek’d the Aqua Pompeii Necklace you showed it with the Robin’s Egg Blue WK Tank and an Aqua and White print Boho Skirt – you mentioned it would be coming in 4 or 5 colour options – is it too early to ask which colours and when, please.
              Seka.

        2. Pamela

Louis, I had thought the swing would work because of how the sides are fashioned. I do have your black sleeveless bodysuit from years ago and of course a basic blk so tank. Again, Thank you for all you do!
          Dawn

          1. louis dell'olio

I was thinking the swing tank would be too long for the skirt
