Hi Louis, The A290929 pebble crepe tunic with pleated back has been listed with some new colors, one of which is “Stream” but there are no photos of the new colors. I’m wondering if you could describe “Stream” so I can have an idea of the hue of this blue. Thanks, Ruth
Dear Ruth look at the video of the Exotic Floral cold shoulder top. Kate is wearing the Stream crop pant with the Rhubarb top.. It’s a pale blue with a touch of Aqua and a slight touch of gray. A sky blue. It’s a blue I haven’t done before.

Louis! A total change of subject! What did you think of the Met Gala, last evening? Were there any gowns that you cared for? I thought the theme was a little on the strange side as well as most of the gowns. My favorite was Amal Clooney not that it related to the theme but I thought it to be very pretty. There was a photo of Brooke Shield and she looked, truly, lovely. She was in a Zac Posen, simple, regal, elegant. Like Anna Wintour, too. I thought Frances McDormand was hysterical, she was the one with the head and face covering. I was a little disappointed, I,normally, look forward to it. oxoxo Cat
Honestly, I haven’t seen much publicity. It has become a costume show. When Jac and i used to go it was elegant, and yes grand. The guest list has changed. It used to be about the beautiful people of NYC and the Fashion Designers. There aren’t any Socialites at these events anymore. Maybe I’m just getting older, but for me it’s lost all it’s glamour.

Dear Karen, when the pansies are finished we alway bought mixed colorful flowers to take their places. Jac remembered all of their names, unfortunately I do not, but when the time comes I will recognize them. Lobelia rings a bell if they are the blue delicate flowers.

Louis, what are the colours in the Navy Floral Boho Skirt , please – have seen the Port in some of your other Sneak Peeks and on air as well but there are no Q photos – just wondering! Have the Black and Poppy from last year – love – and will add either the Port or Navy.

nikki, the colors in the rhubard skirt are all softer then the V-neck tanks, but the rhubarb color is strong enough to handle these stronger top colors

As I was thinking of all of the Linea clothes that I have, I wondered what were some of the first items that you brought to QVC. I think the first Linea item I bought was a boxy, silk window pane check top. It came in many colors and was very pretty, timeless and versatile. I sometimes wear them as a jacket and other times as a blouse. Whoa, I have 5 of them!
Dear Frieda, that was a very popular timeless SILK shirt/jacket. The price of the fabric skyrocketed so we had to discontinue the style.
Frieda, I have 8! LOL Talk about timeless. They look as fresh today as they did years ago when we bought them. I think they were one of my first Linea purchases, too.
I got my new Carnival Necklaces yesterday, and they are even better looking than they show on QVC. I have the blue, green and aqua ones, and I can already tell they are going to be some of my go-to jewelry, like the Pompeii sets. I think lately, I am buying as much Linea jewelry as I am clothes. Just a tribute to your design creativity and beautiful styles. Can’t wait to see what’s coming up. Maybe the buyers are beginning to realize how much women who like gorgeous classics in what they wear, are selling out so many of your items.
I am very grateful you have your blog to let us know what you’re presenting ahead of time. I woke up May 2nd, went to the QVC website, and fortunately, they had put the upcoming items to buy, so I could do that, and then sit back and enjoy the show. (By the way, Jennifer is a natural to present your styles.)
I am on my way to the QVC forum to give my glowing reviews to all I bought–3 necklaces, embroidered striped shirt in blue, and the blue tie-dye skirt.
Now all I need to do is wait for your next presentations.

Many thanks, Louis! Sorry, it was A239321…a slim leg pull on pant that was more like a legging. It had a stitched down waistband, about an inch and a quarter, and the fabric content was your ponte knit. 78 poly, 18 rayon, 4 span. Label says RN90133, whatever that means. Love that pant, and it’s worn so well! Very versatile.
Margo….those pants are quite old. They are not coming back.
Oh, that’s a shame! They’re such a staple and still in style. Will the slim leg ponte pant that’s currently online be back in black? That’s the closest thing to it.

I have a question about the Wild flower ruffle skirt.
Do you think I could successfully make my skirt shorter without interrupting the lines or fit of the skirt? I’m thinking, if I took it up about 4″ from the top ,being it is a pull on style, this might work, but I don’t want the ruffles to get to high either, Any ideas?
I need to shorten, because my legs are so short and the skirt as is makes me look stumpy
Shari…I think you should roll the skirt or pull it up to the length you want and tie an elastic around your waist so you can get a true feeling of what it would look like. That way you don’t have to cut anything before you decide. Then if you like it bring it to a seamstress/tailor and have them shorten from the waist. That is actually an uncomplicated alteration

On another front great shows! So much fun when you show new seasons! I purchased the dusk, black, ivory of the tunic top/georgette border as well as the pull on pants/georgette border. I love monochromatic dressing. I believe these outfits can be dressier as well as more casual and perfect for traveling. I also purchased the new whisper knit v neck sleeveless top with ribbing in ivory and turquoise. I think the ivory sleeveless ribbed top as well as the ivory tunic with georgette border will look great with the ivory pants and ivory blazer sold by you about two months ago.
The Aztec will be in June.Your outfits sound perfect.
Hi Louis, your shows have been amazing as always, and I have been shopping with your for the past 15 years. While I love whisper knit and own an entire closet of it, I am hoping that you will bring back a fabric that you used on item # A203504 and A229714. I own the jacket in pink, black and eggplant and the skirt in black and eggplant. I love this fabric so much and have been hoping for years that it would return. Please let me know if it is a possibility.

Love the new maxi dress! I ordered all three colors, but couldn’t wait to get my hands on one, so sprung for expedited shipment of the blue fog! The fit is perfect in my usual size (medium) and that fabric is really wonderful…substantial, yet light and drapey. (Hope we’ll see more of it.) I’m really thrilled to see these longer lengths and I’ve scooped up every color in the two maxis you’ve created for us this year. And, if I heard you right…two more are on the way, so yippee. I dutifully wrote my reviews.

Of course you know this, but the new colors of the seed bead necklaces are truly spectacular. I ordered pink, amber and red–they arrived today. The pink is so etherial but just a bit edgy too (how DO you do that?). The red is the exact shade I was hoping for–a rich red that’s neither too blue nor too orange. Perfect and super classy. And the black and amber? If there were ever a necklace to throw over a pair of jeans and tee for that “just hopped off my private plane back from Italy” meme, this is it. I love them even more than the one’s from last year, which is really something. Thank you for all you do for us. (P.S. Do I need the blue? Well, Kate, of course you do. And so, she went off to order.)

The waist whittling top in green is so pretty! Got that and ivory. Debated too long which carnival necklace I wanted. When I decided I wanted orange, it was gone. Oh well. At least I have the Mardi Gras one. And at least I could still get the khaki nugget one.
Also caught the presentation of the dress at lunchtime. Can’t wait to get my prune. The night before I woke up about 3am so I logged into my phone to see if the dress was available yet. It was, so I ordered it and went back to bed. Glad I did because my size is now gone.

My last item from you ,a soft peplum knit top,came in triple folded in a plastic bag and so wrinkled that I felt i could have been given a returned item.Now I have to iron it before I wear it!
For $50 I can do better in shipping from Talbot’s,Macy’s and Lands End.

Dear Melanie, sorry about your experience. Honestly, I have heard this story repeatedly! I have told my many “buyers” about the complaints I have received, but nothing seems to happen. I can assure you we do not ship our apparel to QVC this way. They are very strict about the manner we ship to them. All I can say is they should practice what they preach. I will once again forward your comment, but I doubt very much that anything will change.
The shows are wonderful! I have ordered soooo much. But I wanted to tell you; We have a cable station here called Decades, it shows all old shows from the 60’s, 70’s, 80’s. last night I was watching Dick Cavette interviewing Dick VanDyke about a movie he released in 1974. (sad movie) He showed a film clip and the actress playing the wife was wearing “our” FISH! I didn’t get a real close look, but it was an articulated fish about the same size (maybe a little fatter). Could this have been yours? Maybe it was before your time. Did you have an AK fish? (I have him in every finish :-).

Karen, the Caneel Blue Necklace IS coming. The packages were miss marked and were not accepted by QVC. They were sent to RI to be re-labeled and are now back at the Q so they just have to be processed and photographed. Hopefully the end of this week or next. You never know with the Q.

I have been looking at the qvc website everyday to see if more ponte pants are back in stock (I missed them all last time and could only purchase the alabaster – which feels substantial and so comfortable.. i want more). Are they going to come back? And I also saw that the trench coat is on clearance and that means it isnt coming back? Are there going to be any coats this year? I love the trench that is sold out in my size!

My name – It’s actually Prathyusha, meaning – early morning light (am from India). Most people find it really hard to pronounce/read my name so I started using a short name Prat until I learned that Prat means foolish or a person’s derriere, haha. Hence added an extra t.

I was never really into fashion jewelry before Linea came into my life. I had a few pieces that were gifts, but it just wasn’t something I shopped for. In fact, I don’t really like to go shopping much at all anymore. Besides shopping on QVC for Linea, there are only a few stores I like to shop at. I avoid the malls. I digress…
Today I am wearing your dusty lilac safari shirt with the lilac nugget necklace and earrings. Love!!! I initially got the necklace to go with the upcoming prune dress, I don’t usually wear necklaces with the safari shirts. But not today, I love the combo! I’m stepping out of my box. I’m going to have to purchase the khaki one too. Maybe even the caneel blue…(love the latest colors of the safari shirt!)
All your jewelry is beautiful, but certain pieces speak to me and work better with my lifestyle. I don’t get to dress up much anymore. My weekends are devoted to where I can take the dogs. 🙂
These nugget necklaces are awesome! I also received the Arcadia necklace – wow! So cool. Loving the wood, looking forward to the Yosemite one. I have the gorgeous green patina Etruscan necklace, and the other three colors on their way. I was lucky to get the chocolate petal necklace. I can’t remember what else I’ve received lately, my Linea jewelry boxes are overflowing.

I love your copper pieces – have the scythe necklace. Was initially drawn to the brass Inca, but it’s hard to decide! I love having choices, but sometimes there are too many. I’m very indecisive!

This is a favorite of mine. You may think it unusual that I like this tshirt so much. But a very good tshirt is almost impossible to find. Thank you so very much for this top. I have it in every color and several black, navy and white ones. The navy from last year is sold out, hope you bring navy back next year.
Now I have one more wish—this exact top in a scoop/ballet neckline. I’d like the addition of a softer more feminine neckline to wear with skirts. A sweetheart neckline is actually my very favorite tshirt style. But I do not find them. Maybe this is too hard to make?

It’s not a pinky taupe, but it isn’t smoke which is grey. It’s more like a dark khaki.It’s hard to describe color.

Louis, do you have any information about whether the petal necklace will be reordered? I dithered around on this one, & was lucky enough to get the silver I wanted that I had on WL this week, but now want a chocolate for fall, and, of course, they’re all sold out. One more question: any chance that the Mayan necklace will be manufactured in the green patina as originally shown? I can’t get it out of my mind, & since the Etruscan & fish necklaces have worked out, I have held out hope for this one as well.
Dear April, I would guess no. There just isn’t money in the budget for Linea jewelry to bring back items. It really is a matter of reordering past styles or bring in new. I know it’s difficult to order items in more then one color, but unfortunately once it sells out it’s usually gone for good. There are the exceptions like the fish, but that’s rare.
Thanks. I was really hoping for that green patina Maya necklace at some point. That finish on that necklace was really the bomb. I have all the other pieces, though, so it’s all good. Jackie….it’s not that it’s too summery. It’s too blue green to work with olive. I will have an olive color Beach Glass necklace coming in June that will work perfectly. You will see it as a sneak peek on the Camo dress on the 5/2, QVC1, 6:00pm show.

What fabric? Port was my absolute favorite color of yours last season. I too purchased the steel gray and pink Cowl neck swing sweaters, WK in gray and blackberry pieces, WK scarves, and the split side hem/crew neck WK tunic in all 3 colors == but PORT was such an amazing color.
I would love to hear what else is coming in this marvelous color!

It is cold and dreary here today. There is frost expected tomorrow morning and I am just below the Mason Dixon line!
So, asking about Port doesn’t seem strange to me at all. I have no idea what to wear every morning when I get up to go to work. I actually wore a suede jacket yesterday when I went out. crazy!
By the way, what else would you recommend (or are more appropriate items coming?) to wear with the Robin Egg Blue WK tank? I bought it because I love the color although I don’t wear many pastels (although I did order the pink seed bead necklace because I think that it will go very quickly, the ballet pink is so pretty).
I do hope that more denim items will be coming. I love the new denim dress and it has been sold out already in size S in both the regular and petite sizes. I have been on waitlist on it since I got my first (which I ordered before it was shown). You know how grateful I am for the skirts and dresses.

Debra, it’s not a pretty day here either, but no frost! Next week they say 80 degrees so hold on. As for the Robins E.B. tank. let’s start with the new Carnival necklace in the Aqua, which works perfectly. Honestly, there isn’t a color that doesn’t look good with it….Let’s start with white and black…then grey, navy, khaki, olive, tan, chino, camo, brown etc. etc, etc……even Port looks wonderful with REB. If you have any print bottoms like my exotic print floral skirt or one of my floral Boho skirts, or print bottoms from the past….you may find lots of things in you closet that will look great with the Robin’s E. B. Explore and play.

So glad to see that the Etruscan necklace set is back in all of the colors. I have been waiting for the “green” for a while now to go with the “green” fish. That is a unique finish and nice to have something to match.
Louis, there was an event yesterday at my church and I wanted to be throw-it-on comfortable. I was already wearing the cowl neck swing sweater (LOVE THESE) in steel grey – would love a dress in this gorgeous color. As I picked out a skirt my mail woman arrived with my Lilac resin nugget necklace. I tossed it on over my cowl neck and put the earrings on as well, A quick check in the mirror on my way to the door stopped me cold. Wow what a show stopper and a chameleon as well is this wonderful necklace. My outfit was not anywhere purple but the necklace enhanced the steel grey and pumped up my cheek color and suddenly I was in a totally head-turning outfit. AND comfy! It gets no better than That! I’m adding “magician” to your imposing list of gifts and talents! Many compliments. Big thanks!

Hi Louis! I heard you mention that the seed bead bracelets will be in small and large. Would the small be the equivalent to a size 7 and the large an 8? It’s hard to tell by the pictures, are they a cuff or like a slip on bracelet? My pink necklace has shipped, I can’t wait to receive it. It will look smashing with the nude pink blouse. Last night I did wear the blouse with the copper scythe necklace. It looked lovely!
