Dear Louis, do you know how many women you are torturing right now? On top of all the wonderful new items you have in this show you went and Sneak Peeked those sweaters that I will have to order all colors and all styles. So please tell me so I can prepare my future list what colors are coming. I see orange, turquoise but what other colors.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon…….the colors are…….AQUA……..TANGERINE……..LIME……NAVY ………BLACK…….and a color I have been calling FLAMINGO, but I may be getting that color mixed up with another group of cloths coming in my new “FEATHER JERSEY”….. Premiering later this spring. When I get home I’ll have to double check the name. There are 6 colors.

      1. Sharon

Louis and now what does Feather Jersey mean, you are such a tease when you say things like that. We women see and hear everything and like an elephant we never forget. So if you give us an inch we will take a mile. Have fun TOMMORROW and watch how fast things sell. The Linea ladies are prepared with the exception of sizing which is always a problem.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

“Feather Jersey” is the same fabric as A 222262, the dress that blew out last year. I have done a complete group in this fabric in delicious solid colors and a variety of styles…..tunics, tee shirts, skirts, pants , cardigans etc. it is a wardrobe unto itself and the perfect travel pieces…..the only other thing you would need is a bathing suit . It will be sold “on line only”, it will come in a variety of colors…..neutrals like hemp, smoke, navy…..and yummy colors like sea foam, nectar, aqua, lilac etc. it is what everyone has been asking for ….clothes that can be supper casual, or perfect for balmy evenings in the tropics. It really is fabulous and I know if you lived the dress you are all going to love this group of clothing. It is cool and the perfect way to dress on the hottest days.

          1. Cathy in PA

This feather jersey has that light “faux linen” slub texture to it that A222262 dress I own and love has? Can’t wait! Would also love to see another dress in the future; similar pleats, slightly shorter than the maxi, scooped piped neckline, maybe a small “Provencal” floral print in lemon/lavendar/periwinkle … fun to dream. Look forward to this new group.

THANKS for all you and Jac do for us; can’t wait to “see” you both tomorrow 🙂

            Cathy in PA

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cathy…….it is the exact same fabric……..it will have a new label that says, “Feather Jersey”.

          2. designista

I am THRILLED! What month do you anticipate the Feather Jersey being available?

  2. Chris/Jazzmom

I know its crunch time now but can you answer how much stretch in the waist is the denim fitted pencil skirt AND the semi fitted crepe pants. This will determine which size for me best to order. Thanks again for all you do.

    Regards,
    Chris

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The denim fabric has stretch and there are nice elastic gores in the back at the sides only. The crepe is 4,6, 8 10 etc. There is stretch to the waist band but it’s not like a pull-on pant. there is a front zip and button. You really should check the on line measurements and compare them with things you won. I hate to give the wrong info especially when it comes to fit.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

Thank you for the denim stretchiness information. Crepe is going to be a little more difficult as depending on kind of fabric I am either a 10 or a 12 in these numbered sizes.I do keep items purchased in my wishlist with the pertinent info in the blank box. Thanks for your quick response.

  3. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Hi Louis: Know you are EXTREMELY busy right now getting ready for your shows tomorrow so get to this when you can. You’ve mentioned several times the term “Online Only” and “Online group” referring to things like coming WK pieces. What does that mean? Does it mean they will never be shown live and will only be available online but without being shown on a live model?

    Can’t wait for the shows!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Nancy…..”on Line Only” means these are styles bought specifically to sell on line only. They will not get any official “air time”, meaning they will not be sold on air, however, I will do my best to show them on the models when I am showing something that is being sold on air…..for instance…..when I sell the new blazer, I will put the new “On Line Only” WK sweaters under them so you will all be able to get some idea of what they look like. What ever I am not able to show this way….I will have my SNEAK PEEK pictures of them just before they are posted on my QVC Linea site. This is enabling Linea to expand without depending on a show. Actually, this is the way web site businesses are run…..”on line only”.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Got it. Thanks for the explanation. And with your sneak peeks – which are SO much better than what the Q does anyway – and with there being live model shows where they are sneak-peeked which we can see online at the Q as well – that gives awfully good coverage. I kind of like the whole idea.

I don’t know if I’m the only one – I doubt it – but I come back to this blog all the time and search back in history to see how you put an outfit together in the sneak peeks. I’ve hunted up items almost as far back as you have been doing the sneak peeks. It is SO extremely HELPFUL!

        1. Jean

I use the archived Sneak Peeks as well for styling tips… and on items that I didn’t see when they originally aired. Very helpful.

        2. Louis Dell'Olio

I am so glad that all the work that goes into these sneak peeks is being used…..that’s great to hear.

          1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

What’s so great Louis is that you include so many different views and ways to wear and style. After your recent excellent explanation about volume-on-top over narrow-on-bottom and narrow-shorter-fitted-or-shaped top over volume-on-bottom (except for the exceptions to that 😉 it was REALLY fun to go back over all the archived pictures and notice and observe the master-in-action showing just that. I always examine the item coming up for sale itself and carefully note how you have accessorized, but since that discussion I’ve looked at the archives in a new light and have gone back and learned a whole new block of info. Absolutely priceless treasure!!!

            1. Debbie Macy

I print all the sneak peeks and keep them in a binder. I have all the photos from when they started. It also helps me to know what I actually own since I have so much.

          2. Yvette

Louis, I’ve actually printed out all of the sneak peeks that include pieces I’ve bought (which is a LOT). They are in a booklet that I keep in my closet for reference. How’s that for appreciating your sneak peeks? Can’t wait to see some sneak peaks of the new online only whisperknits. I must have every one of the v-neck pieces and enough cardigans to mix and match with them. Definitely something to look forward to!

            1. Yvette

Didn’t notice Debbie’s reply until I had already posted. I guess we think alike!

          3. Judy

OMG, Louis! Soooo many times in the morning, I pull up the sneak peek on here plus the video of the sell on qvc.com to refresh my memory as to how you styled it, and for other details. It also comes in very handy when I am going back to purchase an older product that is being offered at a price reduction. Thank you for the effort you put into it. I love it!

  4. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

Will the Medallion tops be returning this year? I was fortunate enough to purchase the green/turquoise pattern, but I’d really like the olive now.

By the way, I, too enjoyed your explanation of the clipped dot process. In fact, before you presented your description of the production process for the clipped dot, I had given you a shout-out on a QVC Community thread, thanking you for educating me in fashion history, processes, etc. You are more, much more, than styling tips, that’s for sure. It’s been thrilling for me to learn so much in this new field, and I thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie…….the medallion is a retired design, and will not be returning.

      1. Goldie76

OH NO! I’m heartbroken. That design is masterful, a classic. It out-Puccis Pucci. I guess I’m lucky I have one of the Medallion tops.

  5. Sharon

Hi Louis, I just saw the new tunic and love to order but I have been having problems with my upper arms. I was wondering if I should go from 1x which is my normal size but I can’t stand of tightness because it is not flattering for tunic tops to grabbing on to my big body parts. It is much more flattering to give it the long smooth look for us bigger girls.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon….I would advise you to look at the click here measurements first. If there isn’t a big difference between the 1x and 2x….then size up one. Also compare the measurements to things you own and like the fit of.

  6. Ellen

Louis, first of all I hope you have totally healed from your car accident. I was so sorry to hear about it.

NOW, I am so excited about the denim jackets. I need them NOW. I will be purchasing the blue and the yellow. I am usually a size 8 or small in a jacket 35(D) inch bust measurement. Should I order these in small or go up a size to a medium. I cannot wait to get these jackets. Thank you for all you do for us Linear Ladies. We love you and Jac.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Do not….I repeat do not size up to a medium they will swim on you. The whole point is the shape. If you size up….that will be lost. Even if you keep it totally button up, which you probably won’t, I would still say the small.

      1. Ellen

Thank you so much, Louis. I will order the small.
Now I want the dress in red and the placement print tee in navy/green.
My credit card will burn up. Thanks for keeping me looking great.

  7. Victoria !

    Louis

On the tee shirt question…I prefer a cotton span blend. I found a great v neck tee from the Q’s Motto line which they discontinued …which is one of the most brilliant tees I’ve found to date. And was furious when they stopped it. It was a 95 cotton 5 span but did not cling while holding shape brilliantly. I love white tees, but love a great gray tee for white crops and I wear 3/4 sleeve year around. My problem with cotton is inevitably they get caught up with my visiting grandkids tees and are tossed in hot dryer and shrink. While I wash all tees in cold water and dry on cool… shrinkage in 100% cotton is always a worry I buy Stars and James Perse white tees which are costly. I do have a fabulous Italian tee, but removed the label because it is reversible with a round neckline or a high v neckline…perfect for jackets…the weight is impeccable. It might be Max Mara..the Gruppo care label says its 70%rayon, 29% nylon and 2 percent span..it’s machine wash cold…but looks and feels like the finest cotton jersey. I can photograph some of this stuff if you would like to see it. I also have a Givenchy turtleneck that is so brilliant and I think your ladies would adore in your WK…the design is so special. Bought it in Paris on St. Honore years ago when US dollar was king of the hill, but it is still cutting edge.

  8. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

I’m getting so excited for the shows and can’t wait to order the denim pieces and the crepe pants and jacket and of course the whisper knits!

I have a question about the pleated skirt and stripe cardigan jacket in the bamboo color. Does the bamboo have yellow undertones or does it have more pink undertones or something else????

Thanks again. Love the sneak peeks!

    Carol

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It is a heather so it’s hard to pin point but between the two I would say slightly yellow, but it really doesn’t look yellow…..it looks tan.

      1. Carol in FL

        Thanks, Louis!

By the way, I have worn your windchime necklace and earrings several times in the silver and just love it! Every time people come running across the room for a closer look at it and to compliment me. It’s definitely a show stopper! Thanks again.

        Carol

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….so glad your getting rave reviews…..actually I call it “The Wave ” necklace and earrings….someone else called it the wind chime. I have another necklace I call wind chime……hopefully it will get bought for next spring.

  9. Shari

Hmmmm. . . . . . Sounds like a lot of ladies are looking for garments in that Optic white.
Maybe its making its way to the top instead of ivory or creamy white.

    1. Kate

I know I am! I need a pure, clean, crisp white sweater set like nobody’s business!

      1. enjay

I need some pure, clean, crisp white T-shirts. And I know that if you did them they would be the best. Have you ever thought about including T’s in your essentials line? Classic style, not too long – the kind that look throw-away chic under blazers. Pretty please, Louis?!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have and I’m looking for the right fabric that isn’t too heavy. Do you mean like a classic men T or something heavier like the cotton/span I have used in the past, which has some weight to it. Also, do you all like cotton/span blends or cotton/poly/span. I have some Nike Ts that are 100 polyester, and are very light weight and more comfortable than my cotton ones.

          1. Jean

Personally, I prefer a 100% cotton tee, but heavier fabric than a classic men’s tee. Definitely nothing less than 60% cotton. I haven’t tried your cotton/span with some weight. Fabric, cut, color – that’s the order of importance for me in a tee.

          2. designista

I prefer the Poly/Span weight that you used in the flecked tank A224278. It’s light weight, doesn’t wrinkle, is cool in humidity and as a layering piece other fabrics just glide over it. I ordered two last year and am on waitlist for the two new colors. Cotton knits have a tendency to pull or stick to jackets or shirts so you need to keep adjusting them. When layering, I find A3825 the short sleeved crew which is 60%C/40% rayon way too heavy.

            1. Jean

Thank you for supplying the A3825 item number. I watched the video, read the reviews. Don’t know how I’ve missed this one. 60% cotton, great! Only two colors left in my size. I’m going to try one!

          3. Judi

I also prefer cotton or a cotton rich blend. I’m not a big fan of spandex. Unless your figure is perfect, IMO spandex seems to hug the body in the wrong places!
Would it be possible to do the beloved whisper knit in a crew neck style, similar to A3825? A lower neck than a mans’ tee, some shapping as to not look boxy.
Clean, crisp, optic white would be perfect, as well as other basic colors.
I’m looking forward to these denim jackets, especially the sunshine yellow.

          4. enjay

Under blazers, I like T’s with just a little weight to them. Actually, I prefer that in any “fashion” T. I’ve tried classic men’s T’s, and they always look thin, sloppy … and like men’s underwear. In theory, I like cotton/span blends – because I prefer to wear mostly natural fibers, and happily iron or send my shirts to the dry cleaners. But I agree that there are some cotton/poly/span blends that look great and are very comfortable. I admit to an anti-poly bias, but I’ve realized that the new poly can look and feel pretty darn good. Most important to me is the fit – I love T’s that are short enough and fitted enough to flatter the figure, instead of covering it up. It would be really great if you find a fabric you like and “Linea-ize” a basic T!

          5. Carol in FL

I would also like an optic white tee–one with a v-neck that is cotton rich and dense enough so that it is not see-through, and the hand of the fabric is very soft and breathes, and the shape is figure flattering. Some spandex to help it hold its shape would be nice. That would be perfect! Thanks for asking!

            Carol

          6. Cathy in PA

Well, I’ve come to appreciate some of the Louis Dell’Olio blended fabrics; I have the cotton/span Linea T Shirts and love them but they’re a little heavy for warmer weather and layering. For a classic T shirt, I still prefer 100% cotton, mid-weight, a little dressier than a man’s Tshire; more feminine, maybe a little bit of texture like the slub knits or a tiny lacy neckline edge, but NOT tissue thin and see through. A slightly lower neckline, scooped or lower than standard crew leaves room for a necklace and looks better under a jacket … I just still find the 100% cotton to be not as clingy and much cooler alone or layered when the thermometer climbs toward 100 degrees 🙂 Just my opinions of course … Cathy in PA

          7. Ann/snickster

As long as it is lightweight for summer and not see through, I am sure that you know which fabric would be best. Short sleeve/not cap sleeve, please. Thank you.

          8. Diamondscribe

I prefer a cotton/poly/span. I have your stone-embellished T from a few years back and all of the metallic trim Ts. But, my favorite is the one with the mesh inserts at the shoulder. I like the heavier fabric, although I have to agree the other gals that it is a bit warm for Florida July. However, it is still a great weight for under jackets and cardies for the rest of the year. I don’t like an all-cotton T. I think they tend to hold a food stain much more than poly or poly blends if one fights a loosing battle with pasta sauce, LOL. I think the idea of a T that reverses from round neck to v-neck is fantastic. I have your sweaters that reverse like that – the ones that came in indigo and spruce(?). I love the versatility. And, I vote for one in bright white as well.

            1. Cathy in PA

I also LOVE the idea of a reversible neckline; a v neck on one side, a slight scoop neck on the other!

              Cathy in PA

          9. upallnight1/Deborah

I’d love lightweight, all cotton tees with v-neck, scoop neck, and reversible necklines being my top choices. I love pale aqua and a pale coral/peach in the summer, and I’m normally not one who wears pastels. “Tags” that are printed inside the tee would be a big plus, too. Thank you for asking!

            1. Sherry

tag less would be a definite plus…

          10. Amy (aka Lacylass)

I like the rayon blend tees you have done … and the cotton span and 100 poly is fine with me too … All cotton is ok but over time find it does not look as nice … Prefer ELBOW sleeves! and OPTIC WHITE … and, as ALways for me Louis — BLACK!!! and by the way THANK YOU for ALL of the great black lately and the coming pieces!!! and the GORgeous Lipstick reds!! xoxo thank you for listening :)Amy (aka Lacylass)Northern California

      2. Shari

        Kate,

ME TOO! !!! I have been looking everywhere forever! !
        Shari

  10. njlady

    Hi Louis,
Can’t wait for the show. I saw the whisper knit tank, My weight is in middle – I usually get medium. Should I go up to a large
being its stretchy and will it not be big all over? What do you suggest.
    Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear njlady…..definitely DO NOT go up in size….the armholes will be too big and gap. Do not worry about the ribs. I’m telling you it’s the same ribs that were on the TSV up sell WK sweater that some worried about and sized up….only to regret it later!

  11. Victoria1

    Hi Louis,

I adore your new striped cardigans. One of my favorites are stripes in navy/white/ red/white gray/white green/white in a cotton stretch hoodie that zips. I have one that I wear under your white anorak when its chilly and I am walking on the beach at the Cape. This jacket gives a bit of spark to my yoga wear and when I want to throw on jeans and a camisole to do errands in town. You probably have completed your spring summer, but would love for you to consider the idea and come up a Louis Dello Olio version. The one I have is 95 cotton and 5% spandex and I bought in Italy 5 years ago. However I will need a replacement soon. Stripes on this jacket are just a teeny bit wider than 1/4 inch and very flattering.

Its a work horse but looks comfortable and chic at the same time:))

  12. diane

    Hi Louis,
I ve been looking everywhere for a good quality tank top to wear as a layering piece. I need White, charcoal gray and brown. Anything like that coming up? Do you do WK in white? thank you, Little D

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dianne……pure optic white…..no. I have the one coming up in black, my ivory white and tobacco, not an espresso or walnut brown. This fall I will have a classic tank, no ribbing b8ut that’s a ways off.

  13. Susan (aka CarlyTwila

    Louis,
A few weeks ago my gold sparkly watch stopped working. I had only worn it less than a handful of times, and all for dressy holiday occasions. I exchanged it and have received a new one, so all is well. I wanted to let you know though, that I think there is a problem with the packaging. If you only buy one watch, the box comes tightly packaged in a brown envelope, (like my new one), and everything is fine. But for the others that I purchased, I had bought multiple boxes of jewelry, and they were shipped in boxes instead of brown padded envelopes. In all cases the watches arrived with the top of the box off and the watch dangling outside the box. I even had one where the watch had slipped out of both wires. My theory is that my sparkly watch must have been pretty banged up in the shipping process. The lids fall off very easily on the long thin boxes, when packaged in boxes with other jewelry. Perhaps an elastic would help?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Susan,
I forwarded you message to my watch manufacturer. They make very good watches, and I’m sure they would like to know this.

  14. Debbie

    Dear Louis,
Love the first sneak peak! Thanks so much, cannot wait for the rest!

  15. tiffany

PLEASE BRING BACK THE JACKETS THAT ARE SIMULAR TO YOUR SWING JACKETS……I HAVE THEM IN THE BLUE AND HOT PINK………………HIGH COLAR AND WHITE INTERIOR – THE SLEEVES TURN UP WITH CONTRAST TO THE BLUE AND PINK……………..BEAUTIFUL ALSO WHAT COLOR IS IRIS? NOT SHOWN IN THE QVC COLORS………….YOUR JACKETS WERE ALWAYS VERY WELL MADE – BRING THEM BACK – I BET YOU WOULD MAKE A BLOW OUT OF SALES……………………TIFFANY

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I know the jacket well…..for some strange reason that jacket had very high returns, where as the swing is still reordering after four years. Iris is a purple color.

  16. Shari

    Good Morning Louis !

Well, I am going to apologize for my knit-pickiness and tell you I RE-ORDERED the Wave necklace and earrings.(I’m the one that sent them back-my bad) I thought the first time I ordered them the stamp on the back of the earrings would be bother some and show. BUT, I was wrong. I tried them on and they DO NOT show the stamp, even with my SUPER short white hair. I am a very happy camper and would like to say… Ladies, if this was a concern to you… be concerned no more. They are WONDERFUL and stylish.

I am waiting with baited breath for the “fish ensemble”. This I can’t wait for!
I would also like to put an idea in your head. I NEED a sleeveless, mandrin collar, PRISTINE WHITE blouse made of a chiffon-ie type fabric. Something girly.
I just can’t find any PRISTINE white blouses, except for the very very pricey ones.
I would sew it myself, but I really hate sewing on that slippery stuff ~*^# !!
    Thanks for listening !!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shari…..no need to apologize….we all have our own idiosyncrasies! I’m just happy you thought twice and realized it wasn’t as bad as you first thought. The earring and necklace is a powerful set and I am positive you will get compliments….at least stares when you wear them. The sleeveless shirt will be a challenge. Believe it or not there isn’t a big difference in price between one with sleeves and one without. Every time I do a sleeveless shirt it gets passed. I will keep trying. I think the women who don’t like sleeveless are a little louder than those who do….LOL

      1. Shari

I ‘m SURE i will get many compliments on the jewelry.

As for the sleeveless blouse, my loud thoughts are that it works so much better to have NO sleeves for the layering
concept than to have alot of bulk on my arms. AND I desparately NEED a pristene white blouse for my arsinal.
I have shopped on line, in catalogues, been to 4 different malls, even travel to two of tbose malls more than 200 miles away
and still no PRISTINE white. I have found ivory but no REAL white. Guess I get out the machine along with the talents of seamstress
and start creating. Although I’m sure it won’t have the thrill that I would get from the Linea line. I’ll see what I can come up with while I wait for the Q to climb on board and realize that it’s all about what a woman wants! Oh my- did I really say tht??!

Looking forward to watching and shopping the shows this week Thursday.
Give those fuzzy girls love and kisses. My Annie(shih-poo) is still among us even with lymphoma. Doing okay.
        Thankyou Louis
        Shari

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shari…..for the last three spring /summer seasons, which means 3 years…..I have pulled out the same sleeveless shirt sample to be considered. It is in the same white cotton as the Kate and Robyn shirts, and it was modeled after the Robyn shirt with princess seams. It always makes it through the first eliminations and then gets cut!I know it’s not what you are looking for, but it’s not that I haven’t tried…..I strongly believe in this as a layering piece and when it’s 110 in the shade, a MUST have. As I said I will keep trying.

  17. Jules/ciley

Hi Louis. Wanting to plant a little seed here in case you ever run out of ideas. lol I simply LOVE vests. I have both the pin stripe ones you did a few years ago but I would love a weskit type in a flannel type fabric for winter, (maybe a houndstooth?) and a linen type fabric for summer. I love them alone with pants but also under a jacket so chic and cooler than wearing a shirt. Also, several of the red carpet looks that have knocked me out lately have been of the 2 piece variety where the top is strapless but then is squared off at the bottom, I guess maybe a modified corset look? I’m horrible at describing clothes but I think you will know what I mean. I saw an old video of a fashion show of yours where you did a red/black combo weskit and I think maybe it laced up? Well it just knocked my socks off! Just something to think about on a rainy day. Thanks! 🙂

  18. Louis Dell'Olio

I can only say that everyone who has purchased it and has written a review has liked the fit……and this has come from many women of different sizes. So I would go with the med.

  19. njlady

    Hi Louis,
I didn’t purchase the Jacquard Ponte Jacket A230025 because I didn’t know whether the Medium would fit.
It says 40.5 for chest measurement. Usually you are a 41.5 or 42. Was nervous – I know it has stretch. What is your
    opinion??
Thanx – everyone seems to love it.
Can’t wait for your next show & sneak peaks

Hi Louis, the tortoise jacket is outstanding! Although I said in my review that it was so distinctive that I was only going to get one color; I ended up with three. I wish that I could go back and add a PS to my review. The 21% rayon in this fabric is so soft. Will you be doing any other items in this fabrication? Besides the fit, the almost abstract print and gunmetal zippers are what make it so designer. One was no enough.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I am not sure. Unfortunately this fabric is not the same in a solid color. I think it has to do with the “yarn dye” jacquard as opposed to a piece dye. If I find another pattern I like or come up with something, then perhaps I will, but yarn dye patterns are very difficult to design. I would definitely like to as I think the fabric is perfect.

  21. Seka

    Hello Louis!

I live in Canada – and I am thrilled to let you know that today, I received my 12 gorgeous Linea items ordered from your January 7th Shows. This was only possible because of the generosity of Loren – a Linea Lady in the U.S. who offered to have my Linea orders shipped to her home – and then Loren repacked everything into one box and shipped it to Canada. I have to say Loren did an amazing job!

Really had to do my homework regarding sizes – and I have to tell you, Louis, that your Sneak Peeks are priceless. Everything fits perfectly! Your Ponte Knit Pants for example (managed to grab the Black & Ivory) – are fabulous – and if it weren’t for your Sneak Peek pictures & details – they would have been gone by the time I read through QVC information once it was posted (they sold out before they could be presented)!

Now I have to get busy and do my Reviews.

Am very grateful to Loren for her willingness to help a perfect stranger.

Looking forward to more Sneak Peeks!

    Seka.

    1. Sharon Santourian-Holman

Seka, I am thrilled for you! Loren, you are an Angel!

  22. Debbie Macy

    Dear Louis,

My shirt jackets are out for delivery, which is very fast for them. However, I am suffering from sneak peek withdrawal. If you are not ready to post yet can you give me a hint of how many new items will be available for next week’s show? I have my eye on a second color of the tortoise jacket and a few other items but I will wait if this next show is heavy with new….Thank you….I know, no patience…LOL

    1. Anonymous

      Me too,Debbie

      1. Ann/snickster

Me three Debbie and Anonymous; I am so excited to see the Feb 7th shows, I have several items on my wishlist already, but will wait to see the new shows before ordering. I also want a second tortoise jacket ( have the cobalt, want the raspberry next). Louis, I am checking several times daily for sneak peaks. Thanks for all you do.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I will start my sneak peeks this Saturday. I definitely think , if you like the tortoise jacket, you should get another. I REALLY love that jacket….the fit, the pattern, the colors and the feel and weight of the fabric all came out SUPERB!You won’t be making a mistake!!

          1. Debbie Macy

will there be a lot of new items?

          2. Ann/snickster

Thank you Louis, I passed this info on to the ladies on the Q forum.

          3. Judi

            Louis-
I hold great stock in what you recommend. I originally hesitated to buy this jacket for several reasons…I have SO many knit, casual jackets, I wasn’t sure about the pattern, I didn’t see a presentation, on and on.
When you said you REALLY love the jacket I took the plunge. I rec’d it today and I’m thrilled!!! It’s everything you said and more. It fits like a dream, it’s slimming, the mottled color is very becoming, love the shoulder pads, the double zip. I think some of my other casual jackets will need to take a back seat to this stunner! I bought the gray and quickly went on line to order the brown/black.
I hope you get a chance to present this properly.
As much as I love the tortoise look I would also buy this in solid colors.
I should know not to second guess you!
            Thank you!

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judi, I didn’t recommend just because I LOVED it, which I do, but because so many women, of all different shapes and sizes, generously reported back that they loved the way it fit. So, for me, that put the double stamp of approval on it. I knew it was beautiful, but I also felt comfortable recommending it, because so many loved the comfort and fit. I am so glad you love it too!

  23. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Hi Louis, I’ve just ordered another color (red) in the GORGEOUS tortoise print 2-way-zip jacket. What a beauty! For summer I’m ordering the second color (Limoges blue) in the incredible light-as-a-feather printed top w/flounce detail.

My question: I’m still “mourning” the fact that I missed out on the chili pepper pebble crepe tunic. Is there the remotest chance they may reorder that top in chili pepper red? I need a 3X and absolutely NOTHING has shown up in returns in that size and color. That pebble crepe tunic is sheer HEAVEN in the heat!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy….I am so pleased you like the tortoise jacket enough to get another color. I know you will live the raspberry, and the digital print top0 is so cool and just flows…..the blue is gorgeous.
As for the chili pepper….not a chance for this season. It is now Chinese New Year vacation which means all of China is on Holiday, and when they reopen, in a few weeks, they will be very busy catching up with the later spring deliveries and then trans fall starts in July. I would think there would be a very strong possibility that it will be reordered for next year, but that won’t help you for now. Maybe you’ll be lucky and one will get returned? I will say that I will be doing a special group of ponte knit styles for on line selling only for this coming fall, and that top is one of the pieces we are planning to do. The group will be in the same ponte as the TSV jacket skirt and pant.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

I’ll hold that hope that it may be reordered – I like the sound of “a very strong possibility” – for next season as the pebble crepe in this top is to die for!

But FASCINATING about the fall group of ponte knit pieces! I don’t know the best way to describe this, but the CUT on that tunic is really something. It drapes over your shoulders in such a way as to give you breathing room in the HOT months (and of course it has to do this somewhat by exposing more skin – something I’m not crazy about) but it does it without seeming to overexpose. And with a nice necklace looks really senational. And then there are the “perfect” sleeves – roomy in the upper arm and allowing for good air circulation yet tailored looking! It just cuts such a sharp look from every angle. Just a design masterpiece really and so simple! Can’t wait to see how this turns out in the TSV ponte!

I wish I had discovered this pebble crepe piece sooner but I’m grateful I did get the navy and the black in this top! I’ll keep stalking for the red this season but I’m not hopeful. It would be wonderful if you are able to get QVC to bring this back in the chili pepper as well as any new color possibilities in the pebble crepe!

  24. Joan

i was stalking the drawstring pants in xs and they never had any available online. Today, they only have xxs in black left. you mentioned they had too many returns, yet there is nothing for sale and there are all 5 star reviews. Are they nuts over at QVC? What do they do with the returns if they don’t put them back online for sale?
I love the look of pants that remind me of Katherine Hepburn’s look who was so ahead of her time and looked fabulous in flowy trousers, jacket and oxford shoes, so Ralph Lauren IMO and these drawstring pants looked like they would fit the bill.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Joan……as you know when something gets returned you have to pay for it, but so does QVC with the handling and processing it back into the system. When a style gets returned over a certain percent, then it automatically gets discontinued, even if the women who then receive the returns keep them leaving little or no inventory. I also argue this point as many good styles get lost due to this. I will try to bring them back somehow but they will have a new style number. That is what I did with the classic WK cardigan sweater that will be avail. this spring. I don’t know why the women returned it since there were never any negative reviews which does not help me at all. I do appreciate helpful critics……not the ones that say I returned it because it has polyester, or wool???If they read the information they would have know the fiber content, or giving it less stars because QVC shipped the wrong garment??? Excuse my vent………. I love the drawstring pant and they will make a return some day, by hook or by crook.

      1. Jane

        Hi Louis,

I agree with you 100% and you have every right to vent (I read those reviews that gave lower ratings to the blazer with seaming detail because it had wool or the TSV because it has polyester – duh!). I have 3 pairs of the drawstring pants and just love them and still stalk for them. So, someday if, by hook or by crook, you can bring them back with a new number, your Linea ladies will be very happy.

        Jane

      2. Debbie Ellison

        Dear Louis,
Please do the drawstring pants in petites when you can get them back. They are great but petites would work so much better for a lot of us. thanks

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

          Dear Debbie,
I don’t make the decision whether a style is purchased in a petite size. That is up to the buyers.

    2. Jean

Tuni and Joan, I started a forum thread on the QVC Community page yesterday for Linea asking QVC to bring back these drawstring pants A227577, and there are already 23 replies from others who agree. Here’s the link if you want to add your comments as well. At least you’ll feel like you’ve been heard on the subject, because I think that Q does monitor the Community threads. They are the ones we need to make the request/complaint to.

      http://community.qvc.com/forums/linea/topic/354413/please-reorder-linea-drawstring-pants-a227577.aspx

      1. Joan

THANK YOU. QVC IS NOT MY FAVORITE VENDOR ONLINE SO I ONLY BUY WHAT I CAN’T BUY ELSEWHERE, LIKE LINEA. I CONTINUE TO VENT TO THEM AS WELL BUT SINCE THEY HOOKED UP WITH LI AND FUNG FOR SHIPPING, EVERYTHING IS MESSED UP.

  25. Tuni

I loved the look of the jacket with the drawstring pants this morning. Do you know if there are plans for QVC to reorder those pants? And also that wonderful shell in that beautiful neutral sand color? Love your clothes Louis!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Tuni, there are no reorders on the drawstring pants….the returns were too high. The shell with the black fleets is a reorder along with two new colors….later in the season.

  26. Jean

Louis, I really enjoyed your show this morning. That whole herringbone outfit referenced by the pants you showed predates when I discovered the Linea line. Love those pants and matching jacket! You called it sportswear in the videos. Your recent flyfront ponte skirt A231138 has inspired me to think that I could make a flyfront skirt out of an extra pair of pants. I checked your archived Sneak Peeks, and I’m not a boho or floral skirt person. Do you think a flyfront pencil skirt would look good with that herringbone jacket A226257? If you have a matching herringbone pencil skirt on the way, I’ll wait. Thank you.

  27. Judy

Good Morning Louis: I have been seeing QVC models such as Angela on this morning’s, January 28th, show with Jayne and Pat and other shows wearing gold doorknocker earrings. Are these gold doorknocker earrings in your jewelry collection and if so, when will they be available for sale on QVC.

    1. Louis dell'olio

Dear Judy, they are not my earrings . I have the chain hoop, the Demi hoop and the “wave” drops.

      1. Judy

Thank you very much, Louis, for letting me know. I will certainly check out your chain hoop and demi hoop earrings. I also love your beautiful fashions that you bring to QVC. You are a gracious gentleman, judy.

  28. Vivian

I’m off to London and Paris mid April and in need of a light weight jacket/coat that I can roll up to the size of a pencil and throw in my carry-on. Is there anything coming from you on the Q between now and then?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Vivian, honestly
I don’t think there is anything coming that fill that need.

  29. nikki

Louis, Can you please try to convince QVC buyers that not everyone loves animal/snake print fabrics. I love the design of the upcoming jacket and the animal print jacket with the 2 way zip, but am very hestitant about buying those fabrics with animal/snake designs. I wish there was an option for customers like me who Love your designs for those jackets but cannot buy due to limited options ( a solid color or different pattern would be lovely). I thankyou for everything to do and I realize it is in the hands of QVC, however as you speak to them maybe you can articulate it better ( I know some of us have noted this on the comments on QVC).

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear nikki,
It is not the QVC buyers who chose the fabrics, I do. The pattern that I call “Tortoise” is really not an animal print, like a leopard, or python, it is actually more of an abstract. Most of the jackets I do are in solid fabrics ,but there are many women who do like to wear a pattern of some kind. I try to please everyone. Personally, I love both the python and the tortoise patterns, but I can tell you there are plenty of solids coming this spring, and next fall there will be a whole ponte “on line only” group in many solid colors.

      1. Cathy in PA

        Dear Louis,

I’ve come to even like SOME animal print in my wardrobe, thanks to you … and will look forward to the upcoming solids this spring. I was reading that flowers are going to be big for spring and summer; are there any other Prints coming our way from you and Linea … flowers, stripes, etc. that are not animal related?

        Thanks! Cathy in PA

          1. Cathy in PA

Woo Hoo! Thanks for the quick reply; you looked great this morning, as did Jac 🙂 I look forward to SPRING options; meanwhile, it’s the new Purple Python shirt for me, along with my first jacquard Swing Jacket in the new Iris color that shipped today. And maybe the Tortoise patterned jacket in Cobalt … still no video, sigh …

            Thanks again, Cathy in PA

  30. Pamela in Anchorage

    Dear Louis:

Please visit my post below – before you archive. Take good care!!

  31. DeLois

Louis, I forgot to ask…… Will the snake patterned jacket scheduled for Monday be coming in any plain colors……??????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

By plain colors, I am assuming you mean solids and not a pattern. The answer to that is no.

  32. DeLois

Louis….. So sorry to hear of your accident…… what a shock to the body. Brings back memories of an accident my husband and I had once. We were lucky as well. I wish you a speedy recovery and drive carefully to QVC…..I am sure you always do… we look forward to your visits at the Q……

  33. Jana J

    Louis,
So sorry to read of your accident. Isn’t it a shame when texting comes before common sense and innocent people pay for the stupid actions of others? I hope there are no after effects. I love the python shirt jacket. The purple is calling my name, but I will order the putty. I already have the herringbone trousers and the flecked shell and like the look pictured. ( Besides, I got the iris in the TSV.) That shell is the most versatile Linea item I own and I may have to order another of the same color when it’s reordered as I never want to give it up!

  34. Michael Zhang

I relly want to find long coat like size 40,color is black,100% cashmere.because i had one before for over 10 years,it’s good quality.

    1. Loren

I know, Once you get used to having a Louis Dell Olio item in your wardrobe, it is tough to do without! Try Ebay or Etsy.

  35. njlady

    Louis,
Thankfully you weren’t hurt too badly.
what a shame, especially since the girl was texting – horrible.

the new jacket in Putty you just showed. Heard to tell colors,
Is it more beigy or is it more greyish??? Thanks and continue to heal

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Both….the black is more gray because of the jacquard knit, and the putty is sort of beige.

  36. Jean

Had to go to a Kickoff event on a Thursday, 5:30 to 8:00. Didn’t know these people well. Had no details except serving mocktails! Thought it was better to be a little overdressed. So I wore the black sunburst skirt A228339, belted the olive lace cardigan A229467, olive shell A229468, black tights and 2.5″ heels.

Turned out to be the perfect outfit. Dressy, but not too dressy! Felt great. Many compliments. Very comfortable when giving my presentation. I do have other clothes, but when I need that extra bit of confidence, I wear Linea! Works every time. Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sounds perfect to me! A classy look is never wrong….even if they were in overalls!

  37. carol

Louis……Is there a reorder in place for the A231143 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Drape Neck Tunic with Asymmetric Hem? I missed it and love it…..looking for black. Thanks Carol

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Carol……it takes three months before it is even decided if a style is a reorder candidate and then it has to go through the process of ordering, production, shipping and then processing once it gets to the QVC warehouse, so if it does get reordered expect the end of the year at the earliest….or early next year. They never place a rush reorder unless it is hugely oversold as the mushroom WK TN was, and they know returns will never cover the demand….especially on a proven item as the WK TN.

  38. Breee

A00140 is such a favorite. I like the thickness and quality on winter days . I tried to look at my order history but the only one it showed was the red one in 2008. Whenever I did buy the ivory one we were visiting relatives near Washington DC. I had taken two of my granddaughters with me. I had just gotten the ivory cardigan and had it with me on this trip. One of my granddaughters told me she was cold, so I let her wear the ivory cardigan. I think she was 6. When she returned it to me MOST of the buttons were gone. I could not believe it. This family had one of those huge bouncy things that parents usually rent for birthday parties in one of the rooms in the basement. Fortunately I found the buttons. I had to resew them back on. That was my worst experience with the buttons coming off. It is funny now and after asking you to recreate this design I remembered this!

  39. Pamela in Anchorage

    Hello Louis:

Any chance of more sneaks peeks come Friday as I’m leaving on a jet to carry me to Lake Tahoe, then Meso America. I’ll be going thru Linea withdrawal – Your fabulous fashions have become my strange addiction!

Also, not aware of timing on reorders, yet would love to see the return of the retro tie blouse in Ivory & Black that matches the pleated sunburst skirt(DREAM BLOUSE) as well as the Pebble Crepe tunic with pockets I ordered for my trip, but QVC screwed up. All are sellouts in my size. Ho hum….Trials & Tribs – yet a real bummer!

I love the fact that you keep your Linea line so cohesive, but QVC buyers don’t offer adequate inventory over a reasonable amount of time to give the investor of your beautiful clothing a chance in building their wardrobe of Linea!?

    1. Pamela in Anchorage

p.s. Strange=Good in my book. LoL

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

My shows aren’t until Feb 7th so I’m not ready with my sneak peeks. Will you be bring an I pad? I just posted sneak peek for Mondays Morning show and the python dress that will finally be on PM Style on Monday too.

        1. Pamela in Anchorage

No Ipad this trip meant for thrill seeking & adventure – besides too many banditos. Don’t & won’t even travel with stainless steel jewelry in that part of the world (learned the hard way.)

Hope your fortitude sees you thru a speedy recover my dear & darling fashion designer. Jac must be taking good care of you for sure. So silly to say, but drink lots of water!

Remember to count each blessing & take time to smell the rose!

p.s. I’ll be wearing Linea for the vow renewal tonite in Tahoe. You make my life so easy Louis – for that I’m so very grateful.

  40. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

Why was the goldtone option for the “Wave Bib Necklace” (a.k.a.,
“Wind Chime Necklace” – J274835)removed from your QVC site? Will it no longer be offered? Say it isn’t so. It wasn’t there when I looked a wee bit ago.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie, I don’t know. We just got home from our mini vacation….so I’ll look into this.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

I spoke to the manufacturer and they assured me the gold necklace is on order and unfortunately is being delivered late. Since these are on line sales only there is no cut off show date. I have no idea why QVC decided to remove the gold option. Sometimes they operate in mysterious ways, but the necklace is definitely coming and it will be beautiful.

      1. Goldie76

Thank you, Louis, for checking on this. I am waitlisted for the goldtone, and I would have been VERY disappointed if it had been abruptly removed as a choice. QVC… A mysterious enterprise, to be sure. Your necklace is beautifully done, Louis. You have that magic touch.

I’m wild over the faux wrap skirt and body suit, too. They are superb! Nothing more to be added. You do brilliant work. I’m eyeing the abstract V-neck and matching skirt, too. Can’t accommodate them now, but hope they stick around until I can.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

You will LOVE the abstract print……all the colors are equally beautiful and they all go back to black.

  41. nikki

Will there be any new things for the feb shows?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Oh yes…..quite a few……Sneaks peeks will come before shows. I will be on THIS MONDAY Jan. 27th on the morning show with Pat and Jane and again on that night PM Style. I will have one new thing on each show. In the morning will be the python jacquard shirt jacket and on PM Style will be the matching dress, which has already been posted on the Linea site……sneaks peeks coming

      1. Jean

I hope they let you show the items again that QVC messed up on during the original airing, particularly the ones that have no video attached to the item now due to the mix-up — A230883, A230025, A230027, A231145, A230026.

I’m sure many of the LLL use the video feature a great deal as we can’t always see the live shows. Then much later, I may watch the video again to see how you styled an item that I have purchased… or in deciding on another color! When you mentioned the Jacquard 2-way Zip Front Jacket yesterday, I was going to watch the video to decide (as I don’t have any animal print at all). But no video, so no sale. Even a short video is better than nothing.

  42. Quennie in Miami

    Louis:

I have to tell you that I received the TSV jacket and pants in Ivory and the quality, fit and design are perfection. LOVE LOVE LOVE

As always, thank you for all that you bring to us at such wonderful pricing.

    You are appreciated.

  43. Qulia

    Louis,

Will the tortoise zip front jacket in grey go with the steel grey knit riding skirt or steel grey knit pencil skirt? Just trying to decide which color to get and was wondering if it would work with those items. Thanks!

    Julia

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Qulia,
I checked my samples and they do NOT go. The tortoise jacket gray is a warm gray, while the steel grey knit is a coo0l gray, much bluer…..they are very different.

      1. Qulia

Thanks, Louis! Now how about the new safari knit jacket that goes with the dress? Will that go with the steel grey? Hope I’m not being a pest about this but I’m just looking for more options for my grey pieces and a way to add pattern.

        Julia

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

BINGO!!!!It looks great with each and every color. The steel grey is a terrific coordinate. Now, realize the pattern is black and color, but since it is a jacquard or knitted pattern the black is slightly crossed with the color, which makes the black more of a charcoal grey. SO, though it isn’t an exact match to the steel the “eye” blends it all together.

          1. Qulia

Excellent! I like that subtle coordinating of pieces sometimes rather than a perfect match. Of course, there are times when I want a perfect match to get a head-to-toe look. Now I just have to decide which one. Thank you!

            Julia

  44. Pamela in Anchorage

    Hi Louis!

Do you have future plans to expand your blog? WordPress offers so many free utilities (add-on’s) that would allow your followers to post their own pics & utilize their existing profiles that will display photo in the avatar (that’s the little square box of diff colors to the right of a comment – just in case you did not know)?

I really would like to see the WK’s that were custom died…very curious.

Welcome back – Trust you had a great trip.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Pamela,
Honestly, I have no plans to extend my site any further. It is working exactly as I intended. I am afraid if I were to do so it would take on a life of it’s own as my face book page has. It’s like a free for all and there are all kinds of ridiculous posts from people I don’t even know. I want my site to be very focused and intimate…….

      1. Pamela in Anchorage

I understand – I am not a Facebook Member for professional reasons & like to keep drama in my personal life to a minimum. I cook elaborate Indian curries from time to time, yet in all honesty, it’s the comfort foods that give the most joy! Simple is better for most folks.

I’m loving all my Spring Linea – the colors a marvelous! Thanks for your time & your talent.

      2. Gail

Thank you for keeping your site as tasteful as your designs. I visit this frequently, but if it began to resemble a Facebook page or even the QVC Community Site, I would have to stay away. Your description of ” . . . a free for all and there are all kinds of ridiculous posts. . .” was right on. I’m glad that you are trying to uphold civility in this wobbly world.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Gail……..I created this web site for one reason only….to be able to communicate directly with MY customers and MY customers only. A safe place, judgment free, where any fashion question or advise is freely exchanged. I would have loved to see the sweaters that were dyed in pastel colors, but if I open this site to allow that….who knows what else might get posted. I do have the ability to trash anything, but that is not what I want this site to become……so I am happy you are feel this is a site worth being a part of………..Louis

  45. Cheri

Louis, I was wondering when yournext show/shows will be. I do not want to miss them.

Much love to you, Jac and the girls.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

My next shows are Feb 7th. I will have two, one hour shows……2pm-3pm with Jill B., and 6pm-7pm with Leah W. You will always see a listing for my up coming shows at my QVC Linea site, just below my picture.I also, may have two appearances this Monday. one on the morn9ing show and one on PM Style, but that’s not confirmed so mums the word until I get a confirmation. I don’t want everyone to get excited and then it doesn’t happen……just to keep you informed.

    2. Cheri

Dear Louis, Thank you for getting back to mewith your scheduled programs. I look forward to seeing them and your clothes. I love your TSV and the matching pants. I got the teal and ivory jackets and the ivory and navy pants.
I also am looking forward to the sunshine yellow jacket and tops. Yellow is one of my favorite colros.

Much love to you, Jac and the girls

  46. Connie

    Hello Louie,

Where can I purchase your fabulous fashions ? QVC no longer is shipping to Canada.
    Please reply. Thank you, Connie

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Connie , unfortunately I sell exclusively to QVC. I do not sell to any other retailers

    2. Loren

      Hi Connie,
Just to let you know, I have been the go between for a few of the Canadian Linea ladies enabling them to still get the wonderful LINEA line.
So far so good. They are sending their items to me and I wait until the order has been completed and repacked to send on to them. Just sending off the first complete order (12 pieces) today UPS (it was the least expensive option this time including insurance) 12 lbs for $40.18. I do not charge to do this. Just the actual shipping costs. Wait a while and check back on the blog. I am confident the Linea Lady will post that she was happy with the arrangement. I understand it is a leap of faith. My email if you have any questions, lorencastleman@yahoo.com
Enjoy the day and looking forward to all the new items coming!
      Loren

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

        Dear Loren,
I can’t express enough how wonderful I think what you are doing for the Canadian Linea Ladies is. It is such an unselfish and giving thing to do for women who’s only connection to you is Linea. If only there were many more people like you……we would all live in a kinder, more peaceful world. I applaud you for all you are doing……………Best regards, Louis

    Dear Louis,
I was hoping you would give us a general list of things to come. For example, spring shopping is in the air (at least for me) and know I want/need a denim jacket and skirt. I remember you saying that is coming! I would rather buy yours! Loved the TSV, and WK tops. Sorry back to the original request-just a list of things to come so we can wait for yours.
    thanks so much
    Debbie

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debbie , I will have a new denim jacket and pencil skirt. I’m not home so I can’t check which month…..March or April. It is styled from a classic jean jacket……BUT……it has corset seaming so it isn’t boxy like a typical jean jacket. I call it a “Couture” jean jacket. It also has my gold “signature” buttons. It will be in INDIGO, WHITE and SUNSHINE YELLOW. It is unlined so it will be a great spring/summer casual/dressy jacket, depending how you put it together.

      1. Debbie Ellison

        Thanks Louis, that sounds great!

      2. JazzDiva

These pieces sound great. I have been wanting a denim pencil skirt and having a jacket is quite a bonus. Something to look forward to.

    Hello Louis,

To let you know there are 123 Five Star Reviews for your Gorgeous Linea TSV Jacket – and as I haven’t received my Black & Ivory Jackets as yet – my Review is still to come!

    Regards to you and Jac.

  49. Marilyn

Dear Louis, I would love your new panther link watch in gold, but need an 8 inch. Is there any chance a larger size will be in the works?
    Marilyn P.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Marilyn, there is no plan to make this watch in a bigger size.

      1. Qulia

Is it possible a Linea Lady with a smaller wrist who has to remove a link might give you her extra link? Always worth asking on the forum.

        Julia

  50. Jules/ciley

Just ordered the panther link in silver. This watch exceeded all my expectations and is simply perfect. Thank you so much for your quick reply.

  51. Jules/ciley

Louis, I am so in love with the new cowl neck tunic that I’ve been raving to anyone who will listen. You can read my review on the forums to see just how much I mean that! I’m also totally and madly in love with the new panther link watch and got it in gold. My immediate reaction was to go back for the silver but since you said there’s a new watch coming every month I hesitate to do so because I’m afraid I’m going to love the new ones even more. With anyone else I would say that that’s impossible but you continue to shock, awe, and delight me with every new design! Any idea when we will get sneak peeks on the new watches? Or will you give us a hint as to what style they will be? I don’t want to miss out on the silver panther link because I’m sure there will be no re-orders but I probably will want one of the new ones too. (I already have the bangle in gun metal and adore it). You are killing me over here Louis but what a way to go! Many Thanks 🙂 Jules

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi…..the watches are coming every other month, and there are no,other solid silver watches coming that look anything like the panther link….there will be a tortoise link watch that is mixed with gold. The other combos are blond tortoise and clear lucite look. Then there is a big single, link watch strap which is enameled…..so if you like the solid silver….honestly……I suggest you get it.

  52. Kathy

    Dear Louis
Will you be bringing back the leggings?

  53. DeLois

My 3rd TSV Jacket arrived yesterday in Iris…… Love it, however I did not order and top to coordinate with it and they are sold out in my size. Will there be anything else coming this spring in the Iris color???? A white shirt always goes, but wish I had a matching top or tank, even a print….. ??????????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

hi DeLois….unfortunately there are no other solid Iris tops coming. However, as part of my new Whisper Knit program, there will be many colors to wear with the Iris, such as lime, aqua, nectarine, hot pint, navy and black that all look great with the iris,

      1. DeLois

Thanks Louis, I ordered the ribbed short sleeve top in Deep Plum…….. Hope it goes with the Iris jacket as I have several scarfs to wear with the jacket and hope for a subtle top underneath…….

  54. Cela

    Dear Louis,
When will we get Talls. We have Petites, and I would think Tall lengths couldn’t be that far away.
    Please!
There’s just NO substitute for good pant tailoring, you know Louis that a pant is different than a skirt, it has to fit perfectly, and if it’s a half inch too short, or the rise isn’t long enough, no go.
When are we getting TALLS? TIA btw, THE COLORS OF THE tsv–“TO LIVE FOR”

  55. Pat Nichols

I am so very sorry to learn that you will no longer be on QVC UK – I have bought several of your garments and have been so happy with every one. The style, the quality, the fit have all been wonderful and in my opinion your brand is the very best one on QVC here in the UK, far better quality than Nina Leonard, George Simonton or Kim & Co.

Your sizes are true and consistent and are definitely the high-end fashion label on QVC.

I have bought as many items as I can from your line still available on QVC and just don’t know what I will do in the future without your fashion !

I wish you all the best for the future and thank you for the wonderful items I have managed to buy in the past.
    Kind regards ….Pat

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Pat,
Thank you for your kind words and I am very happy you you were pleased with the line. Unfortunately, it just wasn’t a viable option for me and my manufacturer. I always say….you never know what the future will bring……..regards, Louis

    2. Loren

      Hi Pat,
I am sorry that you will no longer be able to watch Louis and his Linea line on QVC UK. I liked to tune in and see him there while I am here in southern California listening to the accents! I made a offer to the Canadian ladies who no longer are able to have QVC ship directly to them. Some are having their orders shipped to my house, I am repackaging (normally QVC ships one or two items per bag, most ladies purchase more than that), and then I send on to them in Canada. So far a few ladies have taken me up on my offer. It is fun to see the clothes coming in styles that I did not order. TV is great or in my case QVC.com, but in person it is wonderful. So I am making an offer to you and your fellow UK Linea customers. If you would like to continue to order the Linea line from QVC, you can watch live on qvc.com (we are on live here 24/7) and I will make sure you get your order. My direct email is lorencastleman@yahoo.com if you have any questions. I am not charging for the service, only the actual postage costs. Just want to make sure the Linea line continues with lots and lots of sales!

      1. Claudia (chprsp)

What a terrific offer, Loren for those ladies living in the UK.

        1. Loren

Thank you but a little selfish really. The more sales for the Linea line, the longer it will be around and the happier we all will be!!

          1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Wow Loren. What a generous idea. I hope a lot of UK and Canadian fans can take advantage of your extra-mile help!

  56. Asymmetrical Dress

I really like the looks of the dress. Possible to lengthen a little? (My hubby is a fan of yours also, now.)

    1. HAPPY LADY

      Asymmetrical V Neck Dress

I purchased three of style A231141 and they all have a 1″ hem with an overcast hem stitching. I am 5’6″ hits me right below my knees. Hope this helps with your decision.

      1. Asymmetrical Dress

Thank you. Now it is a possibility.

  57. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mary Ann………that is TERRIFIC news. I read where the majority of reviews, so far, on the jacket have been very good, but I haven’t heard much on the companion pieces. I am happy to hear your are please with the fit. I will be bringing some new items of jewelry each month and I think a watch is scheduled every other month, so there is a lot coming. I am not sure if any of the pearl colors have been reordered??? I know we are doing new colors. You should say something on the community fashion board about wanting the navy pearls brought back…..”they” do read the boards………if you get enough support, maybe they will. I am learning that if you want a piece of my jewelry you shouldn’t hesitate, because jewelry rarely gets reordered.

    1. Pamela in Anchorage

New colors – hmmm – perhaps Copper – Coral? Love the Gray & the Navy! Please don’t change the specs.

    2. Qulia

I have all the pearls except the green. Missed out on those. I’d really love a deep purple, like a peacock pearl. Putting in my 2 cents.

Hope you are reading this on a magnificent beach somewhere. We just had our first snow in this part of Virginia and it was a wet, sloppy, mess. A large limb fell on the house that sent me, Chris and our two dogs running from our cozy spot by the fireplace. Our little Welsh Corgi circled back barking ready to fight whatever it was. Such a courageous and feisty spirt in that little dog (although she wouldn’t say she is small; she would say she is short). Our big dog (a 75 lb hound mix) with his usual sidekick “tell me what to do and I’m there” response. Fortunately, it was more noise than anything.

      Best to you and Jac!

      Julia

  58. Mary Ann

I wanted to express my love of the TSV and all it’s companion pieces. I received five of the jackets and all the matching pieces. They all fit like a dream and are all so well made. I am now set to mix and match. You are truly a wonderful designer and the BEST on the Q. I hope we have you there for years to come and I hope they allow you to have a summer TSV. You and your beautiful wife are such a great team and I enjoy seeing you both on the Q. I just wish you were on more!!!Please bring us more jewelry and please bring back the navy pearls. I need them!!!

  59. Quendiva

Dear Louis, It is clear from reading the reviews on the QVC site that your TSV jacket has won you a great many new fans. Congratulations! Our Linea Ladies sisterhood continues to grow.

  60. Waterbaby

    Louis,
I collect crosses and I was looking for the goldtone long cross station necklace of QVC and could not find it. Is this something that will return? Many thanks for your time. Best, Fran

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Fran….it is there under Linea Jewelry, but iy is completely sold out. I would suggest going on wait list. If the wait list is big enough, they may out in a wait list order…..you can’t loose anything.

  61. Jackie

    Louis,
I received my coral jacket today with the blue asymetrical knit top. Both are exceptional. I wrote rave reviews on the QVC site but wanted you to know that I am keeping all three jackets and knit top. No returns here!!!!!
I look forward to new arrivals.
    Jackie

  62. Chris/Jazzmom

Could you tell us when the leggings that Brenda wore (she wore white ones) on one of the recent shows will be coming? The last set that I have in black are terrific.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I believe April is the date,it could be May…..but I think April.

  63. Debbie Macy

    Dear Louis<

I received my bib necklace in silver and the earrings in both colors. The gold has been on waitlist since it was posted. Did it sell out or have they not received it yet? The are beautiful and went right in my carry on for vacation.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debbie, the gold hasn’t been delivered yet…..It is due at the end off the month……..just one of those unforeseen things

      1. Debbie Macy

That’s ok. I am on wait list for the gold. If I had received it it would be going on vacation too…

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry about that…..nothing is easy…..it seems we are always jumping through hoops! Enjoy your vacation!

          1. Debbie Macy

Not your fault, and my jewelry pouch is very heavy with all my other Linea Jewelry.

  64. Charrie

I have only one question? Do you sleep? What a wonderful new set of selections…..that fish is to die for amongst the other million things and ideas you have. you are truly a gift to us! LOL
    Charrie

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Charrie, so nice to hear from you………….hope you had a wonderful Holiday!

  65. diane

I received my new scoop neck WK today and it was huge! I ordered up one size because of click it size chart and i shouldnt have, the size chart is wrong. 🙁

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry to hear that….how frustrating….you should tell customer service what happen and you ordered the wrong size due to their misleading info. Don’t pay to return it.
