    Louis,

Would the bright blue boucle knit scarf (A239322) be a compatible tonal match with the lapis boucle jacket(A238159)? I saw a comment somewhere, I think, that they are, but I want to be certain. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Goldie…unfortunately no….the new cardigan and scarf is more of a purple blue compared to the Lapis.

Hi Louis: Just wondering if there are any plans this season to bring the WK sleeveless mock neck out in Ivory or in White? I already snagged the butter 🙂 Snowing in NH and wondering if you are getting that today also….

  3. Kathy

    Good morning Louis
Another vote for WK pants, I think they are a must. Oh that beautiful Morracan jewelry! Any chance you could bring it to us?
    Kathy/Wis

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No….I really don’t think I can reproduce them where they would look anything like the real thing…..Maybe eBay or google Moroccan jewelry.

  4. Jane

Good morning Louis, I have 3 questions for you this morning.

    1) Any chance of the drawstring pants coming back? There has been a lot of discussion on the forums about them and how the ladies love them. I just about live in them. They are so comfortable and the fit is just right. I have 3 pairs from when they were originally offered, but I wear them so often I’m afraid they will wear out! I think there may have been some questions at the beginning as to which size to buy, but now we all know what works for us and I know they would sell out in a heartbeat.

    2) Jac had on a multi-strand necklace in turquoise and it was also shown in red. Last summer you had shown it in a lime green (which coordinated beautifully with all the fiesta colors). Will it also be coming in that lime green?

    3) You always show such beautiful jewelry — new creations and also from your personal collections. A lot of it is very chunky. My question is how do you store your large collection? I have many of the chunky bead necklaces from Jacques Carcanagues and also your bead necklaces. It’s hard to find storage that “works” where you can actually see what you have. I am sure thru the years you must have developed some type of storage system that not only protects but displays all the goodies.

Thanks again for all your beautiful designs and for taking the time to answer our questions.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jane…the drawstring pant will be a hard sell for me…they really did not do well……the lime green was not bought, just the black, red, and turquoise……if they do well…..maybe I can add them, but jewelry doesn’t usually get reordered….sometimes, but not usually……I store the jewelry in plastic boxes that I get at the container store. Then I label them so I know what’s in them. I usually do it by color or type.

    Hi Louis.

Just bought the Ivory cardigan and it will look great with the ivory scoop neck wk I just received. I was reading the discussion you had with Lynn about embroidery and ebay and wanted to say that I got A89790 stand collar embroidery linen jacket in brown on ebay and it is stunning! I paired it with the sea green scoop neck wk. Its an amazing look! I also was able to pick up 2 of the zebra jaquard button front jackets in white and sapphire. At least there is a way to pick up your designs somewhere else when Q no longer has them.
    Thanks for all you do!
    Gayle

    Louis,

Would the Faux Silk Shantung Skirt A234433 in Midnight Blue coordinate/match the new Shadow Jacquard Jacket in Midnight blue?

    Thanks! Cathy in PA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I compared the shadow blue jacket with the midnight blue skirt, and I think they look good together.

      1. Cathy in PA

Thank you Louis! I have, and love that skirt in both colors, but I’m “blue challenged” and just couldn’t tell if the shadow jacket would work with the skirt. I’m thrilled, and will order the jacket now. Thanks again,

        Cathy in PA

  7. SF

Thank you, Louis, for a bit of encouragement on the French cuffs. I will be hopeful and vigilant. Extra cost, no problem, to be expected. Let’s get that fashion trend started–CUFF LINKS ARE CLASSY, GALS!! One other comment–back to the long-sleeved bodysuit–would you consider a scoop neck? A scoop neck is definitely sexier than a V-neck, Louis.

  8. Judi

    Hi Louis-
Wonderful shows and superb service by QVC (can you imagine!) All of my items arrived between yesterday and today, I spent all afternoon trying on, mixing, matching. They are all keepers! I’m crazy for the PrimaB’s (they satisfy my inner Stevie Nicks!). Ethereal, graceful…they are in the same spirit of your guazy assymetrical dresses and tops from last summer.
Of course the whisper knits are fabulous as always, I love the straight neckline on the shells. And wow, do I need to see that beautiful sunshine yellow at this time of year! I imagine I can wear the yellow shell with the mitered yellow skirt?
The ponte slacks are fabulous! The fit is perfect, I think these are the best fitting pants you have done so far. I’m hoping for more colors in the future. And the jackets….oh my, again, the fit is perfection.
It looks like this will be a banner year for you (and us!)
How would you feel about sandals or ballet flats with the PrimaB’s for summer, relaxed wear? For the most part, I’m planning to wear them dressed down, rather than dressy.
I’m off to write some glowing reviews. I’m eagerly awaiting the fish, palm and horsebit jewelry.
Thank you—and a big hello to Jac-
    Judi

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judi….I definitely see the PB tunics being worn with ballet flats, or flat sandals or banded wedges in the spring and summer.

      1. Judi

Great! I was hoping ballet flats wouldn’t look too “costumy”. I’ll be wearing this oceanside often….I can’t wait 🙂

  9. Lynne

    Dear Louis,

I love your boucle jackets. (own the Russian style embroidered in black & espresso,
the Indian style paisley border in black & spice….I would like it in the purple selection as well in small or extra small
Where can I find one? QVC no longer carriers them

    Love you!
    Lynne

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lynn…..I am sad to say they are “gone with the wind”. They have reached the collectors status. If I did those jackets today they would be close to $200….that’s how much prices have gone up….There was a time emb. was inexpensive and the boucle was reasonable, but those days are O.V.E.R……..sad to say…..the only thing I can suggest is ebay…..I have hears some have had luck, but they don’t show up too often

  10. nikki

Just rec’d the ENR cardigan. It is a wow. I cannot believe how beautiful the color is and I want more. MORE COLORS please. I just wrote my review and I hope you do more of these in your wonderful color choices. Thankyou once again for such beautiful pieces.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki….that’s great to hear, and the Q is shipping quicker it seems.

  11. Cela

Without a doubt Louis, the Prima B tunic had me spinning over the number of ways it could be worn, like over your new maxi skirt, Ooh. But I plan to wear it to the Walt Disney Music Hall with ankle pants, topped by your white linen beaded jacket with the black satin edging. It’s 90* here so I’m thinking the white looks fresh, yet warm for evening.

  12. SF

Another question, Louis. Do you offer ladies shirts with cufflink French cuffs? I am hoping you do–can’t find them for ladies anywhere. Just started my cufflink collection and I can’t wait to use them!–but I can’t find the shirts. I would be very happy to have a Louis Dell’Olio French cuff shirt, because I know it would be a quality garment, so I am hoping you have them available.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear SF…..I have in the past, but not recently…….I’ll suggest it, but they usually cost more.

      1. Cathy in PA

Oh, I second that request! Lately Walter’s been borrowing from my vintage gold cufflink collection … would like to grab them back LOL. Don’t mind a bit more cost; might suggest the blouse come with an included button cufflink so anyone can wear?

        1. Sherry

How about offering cufflinks in jewelry…an add on purchase?

  13. Jules

Well Louis I don’t know if you get tired of hearing you but you are a GENIUS! I just got my Prima B tops in and I am in LOVE. First of all thank you for jolting me out of my comfort zone over and over again. I would have never considered a piece like this unless it came from you but I know that you will never make me look or feel ridiculous. I’m a petite one and even on this 5’2 frame the black is absolutely to die for! I can’t tell you how happy I am that we finally get to show a little cleavage too! The top is sexy, feminine, and chic beyond words. It makes me want to stand up straight, grab the back of my chair, and see if I still remember 3rd position. Thank you so much! I’m going to a concert next week requiring a little rock and roll chic and this is what I’m wearing under a black leather jacket. Words cannot express the gratitude I feel for you always giving us something fabulous for every single occasion! A big hug and much love!
    Jules

  14. Barbara

    Louis,

I tried to order the Linea leather blazer with rib-knit sleeves in black, size large, but it sold out before I was able to get through to a sales rep. Will you be making any more of them, because I truly love it and was so disappointed to miss out on it.

    Regards,

    Barbara

    1. Goldie76

      Barbara,

Good news! Louis said on the show that the black and burgundy will be reordered for the fall. Often, he begins presenting his leather jackets (and other fall items) in late August, so be on alert at that time.

      1. Goldie76

I should have added that I have that jacket in a black, large, and I absolutely love it. It receives compliments all the time.

      2. Louis Dell'Olio

I think I may have to made a correction….originally they were going to order the wine, but I think it’s just the black and the new color.

        1. Goldie76

Once again I’m outsmarted by the system! After you stated that both would be reordered, I released my burgundy to buy spring fashions. When will I ever learn I can’t have it all?

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Barbara…..yes the black has been reordered along with the new luggage tan,

  15. Linda

    Dear Louis,
Thank you for creating beautiful clothing. I’ve enjoyed many of your whisper knits and jackets, but never tried a tailored blouse. Like many women, I’ve been searching for a quality, classic, woman’s white shirt… you know, the type of shirt that I’ve meticulously ironed for my husband each morning for the last 27 years. I’ve been disappointed many times.
I’ve just finished trying on your white, cotton shirt (A214116) and I’m literally in tears. It fits beautifully!!! I’ve finally found “the” shirt that I’ve been search for. Thank you!
    Linda

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Linda….it was my GOAL to make a beautiful white cotton shirt for women that looked as good as a mans shirt…..no see though….no chintzy fabric and ll the details men get to make a perfect white shirt….down to the collar stays which will always keep it looking perfect….yes, it will wrinkle a little but who cares…it’s real cotton!

      1. Linda

Louis, I love to iron! … let’s keep that a secret though. 😉

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I learned how to iron in school, and it really is an art if it’s done properly. We had many different contraptions…..like sleeve boards, velvet boards etc etc…..needless to say I do all the ironing when necessary.

          1. Linda

I learned to sew, iron & press from my grandmother and mom. At 8 yrs old I started pressing my Dad’s white cotton handkerchiefs. I have many of the tools you mention. I’ve taught my son (in college) how to press a shirt and pants… for special events and interviews.
I had the best compliment recently. My husband said a customer ask him who presses his shirts. He told her his wife does each morning. She told him, “She does a beautiful job. I know a little bit about pressing, I taught tailoring.”

  16. DeLois

Louis, I just ordered the crepe top A213621 in Olive. I could not help but notice that the other colors were shown on a model and looked good, but the olive top looks terrible in the online picture. I wonder how they do such a terrible job of presenting so many items on line. I took a chance and ordered the olive and I am sure it will be just as nice looking as the other colors. QVC could certainly improve their online pictures……. most things look awful…….

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Delois……….ALWAYS look at my sneak peeks if you want a truer feeling of what the garments look like…QVC is very hit & miss when it comes to photography…..there are getting better, but still have a long way to go.

  17. njlady

    Hi Louis,
Your shows were wonderful and informative as usual.
I was afraid to order the prima top because of sizing.
If weight in middle – would you size up or stay with your normal sizing?
    Thanx

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear njlady…..I would say to stay with your normal sizing!…your middle will be hidden by the georgette….the seam is above the waist so the georgette will float over your middle, which provides camouflage.

  18. Rosemary

Hello Louis! Will you be offering WK pants again? I love how well they look and feel, especially when traveling.
And will they have a petite length option?
    Thanks for your time.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Rosemary…we are having a meeting next week and I will be pushing really hard for them. I REALLY BELIEVE in the TOTAL LOOK of knit dressing and I think the WK pant is a MUST HAVE!

      1. Sherry

        Fingers crossed!!!

      2. Judy

I’m with you Louis. I love my WK pants. With so many beautiful WK sweaters in my collection I would love, love to have more colors and at least 2 more pair of them in black and 2 pair of walnut. I treasure my black ones as I wear them with all of my WK sweaters. I get sick just thinking about them wearing out and not being able to replace them. We need black but we also need colors to match all of our beautiful sweaters. You are totally correct, WK pants are a MUST HAVE!!!!!!!!!!! If we do get them back I can promise I will purchase in every color offered along with 2 blacks and 2 walnuts!!!!!!!!!!!

  19. Judy

Hi Louis, I just had to tell you how much I enjoyed all the new things you had in your last three shows. I really went overboard but boy am I going to look good! Is there any chance of seeing any new items in the feather jersey for the spring and summer? I love the cool flow of all the pieces I own and would love to have more! I live in the south and our summers are horrible and we love and need cool pieces with the flow of the lightweight feather jersey. Thank you for all you do!!!!!!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I will have one print dress in the FJ, but no separates…….I believe in the fabric even thought there were so many negative remarks….so I will continue to push it.

      1. Sherry

I for one really enjoy the fabric…it’s lightness and comfort in the heat…missed out on so many pieces last year. Very disappointed that so many were not reordered.

      2. Judy

I hope we can get more separates to go with the ones we have. The FJ is the bomb for summertime. Many of us love it and hope for more! It’s cool, hangs lovely and never a worry about wrinkles! I will keep my fingers crossed!

  20. Shan

Since the boucle open front cardigan and scarf are both posted online for ordering, will you be posting those here? I was going to order them on Wednesday but I was afraid to go by the QVC photo as my only indicator of color. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes…..I’m in NYC all day today, but as soon as I get a chance I will post.

      1. Shan

Thank you. That will give my Amex time to cool off. It is still smoking. I bought everything you offered in gray and navy ( ponte blazers, wide band pants, whisper knit tanks, the skirts, the elbow length sweaters). I work in Corporate America and you make the best clothes for the office. I wore Linea 3 of the 4 days this week. I had to work from home one day so I could catch the 2AM show. Your lovely clothes are staple for me.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shan…..I’m so happy you are pleased….at the risk of being piggy….did you get the Shadow jacket in either the blue or gray….it really is fabulous and will go with everything you bought.

          1. Shan

I had not but I just watched the segment from the 11pm on the jacket a few times. You are so right about the jacket with the items I bought. I just ordered the midnight blue! Thank you for the suggestion.

          2. Judy

Dear Louis, I ordered the Shadow jacket in the blue and I can’t wait to get it and start pairing it with all of my navy pieces and jeans of course! I love the style!

  21. SF

RE bodysuit A231145: Thank you for the quick response, Louis. Nevertheless,I’m going to keep my fingers crossed for fall and hope the red and truffle (and maybe additional colors!) return (especially the truffle–beautiful! I’m not giving up.

  22. RhondaRena

I love the new boyfriend whisper knit cardigan and it looks like some are left. I am between an xx small and x small. What would you suggest? I have the purple wool boyfriend cardigan from this past Fall and love the fit in the xx small. Thanks I wanted to order a couple of these.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

If you have broad shoulders I would say the xs if not than the xxs.

Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Whisper Knit tank (shell)

This item is understated elegance. Also, thank you for making the hem slightly larger. This is very helpful in it not rolling up. This hem length seems to be perfect.

  24. Mimi

Good evening! This is a request and does not require an answer from you. Yesterday on the Q, you had the OTO cardigan A251578 and Chantal was wearing an exquisite belt! I’m sure it is way out of QVC’s price range. I know your back is up against the wall with QVC but….. If you could try to duplicate that belt and sell it on QVC, I think it would fly out!!!! It is being discussed on the Q board. Thank you for your clothes but I also want to thank you for giving up your personal time answering these questions. You are one of a kind!
    Mimi

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I got the belt on Ebay at a very good price. I could never manufacture that belt at the price I bought it for. The buckles are brass and the side heavy chain is all brass. You would do much better checking e-bay once every two weeks. You can also look under designer belts on ebay……

      1. Mimi

        Thanks, as always. Stay well!

  25. CC

Louis your navy is the spot on perfect color!!! You get it– you listened during art class and learned what is a true clear navy. Thank you. So disappointed in all these designers that make these odd blue colored items and call them navy. I love true navy and yours rocks my world. Now bring more more pieces in navy and larger quantities, pretty please.

  26. Shari

The matching mockneck, elbow sleeve sweater to the Boyfriend cardigan has smaller measurements
on line i-e the click here chart.
Is it pretty forgiving or do I size up?

  27. Pamela

My Dear American Treasure – Your show times were perfect for Alaskan viewing. Got to watch before bedtime (10 pm) -closed my office door for a late lunch @ the strike of One & home to make White Clam Chowder w/Salmon croquettes enjoying your encore presentations in same swoop!

Especially enjoyed seeing Jac rock the patterned tights during the Gray Ponte segment – I take it as a “nod & wink”!

    Many thanks, Sincerely P

p.s. Can’t wait for my “Stevie Nick” Btop~luv

  28. Debbie M.

    Dear Louis,

I do not know how you do it but you never disappoint! The new ponte jackets came and I just adore them. I can’t wait to wear them!! Big Hugs!!!

      1. Debbie M.

I ordered them as soon as they were posted. I live across the Sound from you. Things get here fairly quickly if they don’t spend days processing.

  29. SF

Last evening I was watching your presentation with Jackie. When featuring the Louis Dell O’lio bodysuit, QVC Item No. A231145, Host Jackie commented that she definitely must have that in red–to which you quickly responded it’s not going to happen–you missed the boat. I discovered this bodysuit about a month ago, but it was sold out in in all colors in Size Small, so I have been anxiously waiting for it to restock. I managed to get it in the black and heather gray a couple of days ago, but I am extremely disappointed that I probably will never be able to get it in the red and mushroom and whatever additional colors it originally came in. The reviews are unbelievable–a 5-star item. Is there any possibility you will have this item back again? I HOPE SO!!! A garment like this is rare and almost impossible to find.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear SF, the ruby and the truffle were not reordered, only the black, and the gray was added as a new color. Quite frankly I was surprised the body suit was reordered at all. I don’t know if it will be reordered again, since I don’t know how well it did. I honestly think Jan was the wrong time of year to present it, but those are not my choices. I will have a tank body suit this summer in the same rayon/span and it’s fabulous

  30. Becky

    Re: Pebble Crepe Slacks
Was so excited to see item #A213621 (Pebble Crepe Tunic) back on QVC today but VERY DISAPPOINTED the matching slacks
were no longer available at all on QVC. This top with the matching slacks makes an absolutely fantastic set. I have emailed
QVC repeatedly to bring back this top in MANY COLORS and to give us matching slacks. I have the outfit in the only color I was able to find it on QVC – black. IF NOT ON QVC – IS THERE ANYWHERE ELSE YOU DO PRESENT THIS TUNIC IN ANY OTHER COLORS AND WITH THE PEBBLE CREPE SLACKS MATCHING SLACKS?????????
Love your line – own a great many items from your line – disappointed QVC seems to limit what you may bring to the show!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Becky. I only design the line for QVC….I will have a new pebble crepe top this summer with a matching sleeveless tunic, and you can certainly wear them with the tunic you are speaking of…but the colors won’t match the older tops.

  31. Nick O'Bradovich

Louis: I am 66 yrs old and since retiring have had time to “discover” your designs thru QVC. I missed out on the presentation of(Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Regular Pull-on Ponte Knit Pants) and am wondering if these will be presented or offered online as the item is completely sold out. My daughter enjoys your Linea line of clothing & cannot catch your shows as she has to work. I would like to order several of this item as she would be able to wear them to her work.. Thank-you — Nick

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nick…..you have to check the Linea QVC site and go to the Ponte Knit section to see what’s avail…..there may be some leggings avail and thy are great….read the reviews…if not the slim leg ponte pant has been reordered but won’t be avail until late summer….for early fall selling.

      1. Nick O'Bradovich

Louis: Thank-you for the reply and I will check out the Linea QVC site .

  33. Grace Ann

Hello Louis, My husband and I going to Italy, first time, this fall for a month. We will be in Rome and travel through Pulgia along the coast and down into Sicily. I purchased the Ponte knit pants and jacket yesterday and know that will be great for the flight but need clothes to sight see in and hang out in and am wondering if your whisper knits, 3/4 sleeves, would be too warm or dressy for what we hope to do. Also, which f your pants would you suggest for easy packing, tops and casual wear?

Also, when can I expect to see your next showing on QVC as I know you will be showing more of your spring/summer collection.

I am so glad you are back on the Q with regular shows.

    Ciao,

    Grace Ann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Grace…that sounds like a fabulous trip. You will be near the town my family is from….Bari, which is on the east coast of Italy…..across from Greece. It really depends what time of year you are traveling….Sept is still HOT…Oct can be hot too down south, but then it cools off at night, and November can get quite cool. Whisper knits are perfect to travel in. By the time you are ready to pack I can provide an entire wardrobe for you in Whisper knits alone. I will be offering many styles from now through the spring summer season in colors that will also be appropriate for fall but in styles that will work all year. For instance the classic cardigan and the kimono are returning in new colors,…the V-neck tank, the v-neck short sleeve and much much more plus the pencil skirt. The slim leg ponte legging that sold out has been reordered in all of three original colors so you will be set for pants……Just keep watching the shows and you will find everything you need. I used to go to Italy five times a year for almost 17 years so I know it very well……Just watch out for the food and wine! It’s SOOOOOO GOOD.

      1. Grace Ann

Thank you for your reply. We will be spending a few days in Bari . My family is from Naples and a very small village in Sicily.
Now. To to the clothes. We will be there in Sept through beginning of Oct and thought the weather might be very warm.
I look forward to your up coming show as I had hoped to wear your designs throughout our trip. What about your button down shirts, very traditional which I love, pratical to pack? I had no idea that the no iron ons I have are treated. Thank you for that information. I am “curvy” would the boyfriend sweater be too long, am short also, or would one of your cardigans work better. I have Maria’s curves but sadly not her height.

Again, Thank you for the information.

I look forward to the sooooo good wine,, food, people and sun.

        Ciao, Grace Ann

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Grace……Grace was my grandmother’s name and there are four Graces in my family. Yes that time of year will be summer weather and it can be very hot. I will have lots and lots of things for you that will be perfect, easy to pack, easy to wash and are great looking. I will have a terrific cotton/ span knit v-neck short sleeve A-Line dress and quite a few separates which are great for travel. I think your head will, spin with all of the possibilities from faux silk big shirts in great colors ( washable), and Capri. Leggings in the cotton span knit….so many choices.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

I will be on Pm Style on Jan 27th and then I have a show on the 14th Valentines Day at 4am and 1pm.

  34. Lenora

    Hello,
I watch all your shows and am always fascinated by your commentary on how you design your fabrics and garments and your career in general. I heard you say yesterday on QVC that the only fabric that can be permanently pleated is polyester, and it made me curious. Did Fortuny make his gowns from polyester, or another fabric and that’s part of the secret to how he made those crystal pleats?

    Best wishes,

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lenora….great question….no Fortuny’s fabrics were made in silk, but I believe he had a secret process of weaving the pleats right into the fabric. It is actually illegal to you “Fortuny” in describing anything that looks like Fortuny as it is to say Chanel-ish anything. They both own the rights.

      1. Lenora

Louis, thank you for the reply. Your designs are wonderful, your styling is impeccable. I wish your designs were offered in brick and mortar stores, too. And, i love the beard! Best wishes to your scotties, too; we have a Wheaton and a brindle, also!

  35. Amy

    Hi, Louis
I just wanted to tell you that I walked past Ralph Lauren on 72nd and Madison and your dance tunic/dress is in the window. The entire window is dedicated to the dance motif. Your clothes are nicer. I own so many of your whisper knit sweaters. I like when your long sleave sweaters are tight at the wrist since my arms are so short. It does not matter.
    My only request is that you make petite skirts. I wear them to work and yours are so long that it would cost me more than cost of the skirt to hem them; 22 inches in length would be great. I have the same problem with dresses;

    Louis,
Watched all your shows online from Portugal. My husband thought that he was taking me away from all Linea temptations but we Linea lovers always find away. Managed to purchase all I wanted and woke up at 4 am to catch the OLO and watch the show. Now need to wait until the end of March to try everything on. Thank you for a great Linea day. Now will be hunting off shore for all your pretty baubbles..
    Carol A

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Portugal! Hope you and your hubby are having lots of their delicious PORT!

  37. Seka

Your Shows are always such a pleasure to watch! Purchased several new items – and how wonderful to have the Boyfriend Cardigan as an OTO!

Your Jewellery is simply spectacular! Can’t wait for the Palm Frond Necklace (the short one & the long one) – and saw the earrings – will they be available in a clip option?

Thank you – appreciate all that you do to give us great affordable designs!

You are…as the song goes….Simply The Best!

  38. Sharon Anderson

Louis I just had to tell you that I was waiting for your show to air and I fell asleep and when I woke the show was over and I when on my IPad and all the long cardigans in 2x were gone. When you read the Fashion talk the ladies ordered all colors or at least three. Is there any chance more will come in this season?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry Sharon….no chance at all, but there will be the both cardigan reorders from last year ….the classic button front and the Kimono in new colors

  39. BCM

Congratulations on another sensational show! I look forward to receiving my goodies soon, As a woman married to a bearded hunk for 36 years, (he’s always had it) I was thrilled to see you still sporting yours. You cut a dashing figure. I hope that Jac has changed her mind. It only enhances your already good looks!

    1. chprsp

I like the beard too. I heard about beard oil and bought my husband some from Amazon. but wouldn’t you know he shaved the beard off at the end of muzzleloader season. I’ll have to wait till next year to see how it works.

      Terrific show.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

She hasn’t quite changed her mind, but she’s softening. It’s not so much that she doesn’t like it….it just scratches.

  40. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

With yesterday’s multiple shows (I recorded the first two), I had ample time to observe you with your beard. To me, it is attractive (and I hope I don’t upset Jac with this view). Your beard strikes an appealing balance between debonair and artistic. For however long you keep it, wear it with joy and enthusiasm, as you have been doing. The shows were a joy, particularly your shout-outs to “Sheesh” and “wish” (I think that’s her moniker).

I’ve bought many sale items lately, but I picked up the WK with the 3/4 length sleeves and the wide waist ponte knit skirt in grey. Will you be bringing back any of last year’s spring WK cardigans (A233950 and A233940) in navy this year?

Thank you for your wonderful self and unbelievably satisfying designs.

    1. Goldie76

And, oh yes, lately I have bought beaucoup of your bijoux, which are never on sale. Yesterday, two small boxes greeted my return from work. I knew one had the clear and grey earrings that coordinate with your glass faceted bead necklaces, but I was puzzled by the second. When I opened it, I literally gasped. It was my waitlisted order for the red hammered earrings (I already had the blue and green). Such a grand surprise! Really, I was overwhelmed by their attractiveness. Hurrah for Louis!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I can only guess that they were after Christmas returns…………..I have been told that there are some who wear the new things for the season and then, due to the long Christmas return policy, return before the deadline is over….so if there was something you missed out on…like the earrings….within the next two weeks is the time to check.

        1. Goldie76

Will the cardigans I asked about in the first comment be back in navy?

            1. Goldie76

I’m relieved and so,so happy! Thank you.

            2. Goldie76

Thank you. This news makes me very happy!

  41. gk27

Good morning Louis. Congratulations on another successful show. I don’t want to sound like sour grapes but I am trying to understand why Q won’t buy more of your clothing, particularly the whisper knits. As a business owner I understand the basic concept of making a profit. If you don’t order enough and you run out…like always…or made to feel like a fool at midnight…you don’t sell as many. Is there something I am missing? Why can’t a grown women with the means to purchase good clothing unable to do so? I suppose there is a good chance that I’ll have to wait a year to be able to purchase this cardigan. Does that make sense? I’m sure you’ve heard all this before and will hear it again, but I just needed to vent and was hoping maybe you could enlighten me about this situation. You deserve much more success than Q is giving you.
    Thank you,
    Gayle

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Gayle……I have no answer to your question. I know they purchased a few thousand of the cardigan and at show time they were all avail since it was made an OTO. When everyone likes one item there are never enough.

      1. Kate

All true, but they have no plausible defense when it comes to Linea pants! They get it wrong nearly every time.

I’m going to start yet another post on the Q pleading for not only deeper quantity, but also talls (and petites).

  42. nyc1

Congratulations on your shows… always filled with beautiful things. Louis… LOVE THE BEARD. Very handsome!
I purchased your Shadow Jacquard and 1 Button with Trim blazers. I already own so many of the other things… some in all colors!
Louis, would you consider making BALLET NECK sweaters? They are so flattering, and very hard to find. Gardensia mentioned show loves them too (on the Q Board), and I would guess there are plenty of other women who would love them. Also, any ORCHID colored sweaters in the future (bold orchid, with personality, not wimpy orchid!)?
Thanks much… it was wonderful watching you, and look forward to seeing you on PM Style…

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

NYC 1….. I would definitely consider making a ballet neck sweater. I have made Wk ballet neck sweaters in the past, and I certainly would do it again.

      1. nyc1

Yes you have, and they are in my armoir in several colors! Would love some new ones…. maybe with the elbow length sleeve, or other colors. Thanks so much for your consideration.

  43. Kate

I loved Jacque’s reaction to your jewelry as her jaw-dropped expression perfectly mirrored my own! My BF said I looked like Munch’s “The Scream” when the longer frond necklace was sneak peeked.

Fronds, horse bits, silvery fish, chunks of “glass”—and those unbelievably perfect new chubby hoops.

    Holy Smokes.

    Let the stalking begin.

  44. Shari

    Good morning Louis
What a fantastic suprise, to have the one cardigan I was waiting for turn out to be a
OTO. I got both yellow and red.
My question to you this morning is about the matching mockneck sweater.
The measurements on line are listing it to run quite small. Is the sweater real forgiving or do
we need to go up a size? And will it be to warm for the Spring months? Loved the whole
look on Brenda last night with the white pants ( which I own). But, thought I would do RED shoes and bag!!

Thankyou for the thoughts and prayers concerning my recovery from open heart surgery. Every
    little bit does help.

  45. Karen in WA

Oh Louis, What a wonderful day. I’ve enjoyed all of the shows. You look great in your beard, I hope you can wear it for a while. Loved your shout out to Sheesh! I feel we are all BFF’s

Of course we never have enough! I can’t tell you how much I love and wear my Posh Knit scarves. I am so sad I didn’t get the camel, and I’d like navy and red and any other color. Have you thought of making them in Whisper knit? The price point might be a little less and I am sure they would go fast. I will take them any way I can get them.

I am also getting very impatient about knowing when the new fishes , emerald cut, and palm necklaces will be available. Please keep us posted.

    Thanks again, Keep safe.

    Karen in WA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have actually had a sample of the scarf made in the WK. I should see it next week. I will try to get a better time frame on the deliveries of the jewelry.

      1. Karen in WA

Oh good, and I’d also like a scarf in Mushroom and pink 🙂

  46. Shelia

Louis – the beard looks great!

  47. wendy schell

    Dear Louis
I just love your clothes, especially your jackets. I miss your wonderful boucle jackets 28″ long. I didn’t see any this season, what happened.
    Keep up the good work
    Thank you
    Wendy Schell

  48. Sheesh

OMG, Louis, you slay me! Your Shout Out to me was fantastic—and no, did not reveal too much—it was just perfect, thank you. I loved it! Thanks so much for remembering me.

I’m just over the Connecticut border in Longmeadow, MA, directly north of Hartford…and it did NOT snow here or in CT today, so not to worry! Maybe elsewhere in MA, but I am not aware of it.

Looking forward to the finale…the shows flew by!

    Have a safe trip home.

  49. Mimi

I’m glad both you & Jac are doing well, especially since your car accident! I hope this year will be a great year for you and your family. I want to thank you for your new PK leggings (A239321). I bought 4 pairs in the xxs. I had asked you about 11/2 years ago to make a PK slim leg pant. This is pretty close for me. So again, thank you. I just bought your crepe pebble neck tunic in the new color, olive. I would like to buy several of the olive necklaces that Angela was wearing. My problem is, I’m not sure which necklaces they were. Online they have J278131 and J278132. The pictures on line looked different from what she was wearing. Customer service was not helpful. They we’re not sure. 2 were long and 2 were short. Are you also going to bring back, I think it was called Bamboo necklace? One of the models was wearing it in sliver today (I forgot her name but she was the pretty heavy set model). I would like the gold version. Long strips.
Thank you for your clothes. I only watch QVC when you are on. Their clothes, aside from your line, are not quality items. Stay well.
    Mimi

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mimi….those are the necklaces….I know the Q pictures are pretty bad, but what Angela was wearing it what they look, like. If you read the reviews some of the ladies say that.. The “Wave” necklace has not been reordered as of now but the returns were very low so it still may be.

  50. Sherry

Ladies, I called CS and the cardigan is the first item up tonight at 11pm.

    1. gk27

Thanks. I hope they post it sooner.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry. It is definitely on tonight’s 11pm show, but I don’t think it is the first item.

      1. Sherry

Maybe a OTO…the TSV is on waitlist in all but colors!!!

  51. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

BUTTER ????? Be still my beating heart! I just ordered on waitlist the new whisper knit mock turtle sleeveless top which will be coming in in BUTTER!!! Hurray! This is my kind of yellow 🙂 The lemony yellow is too much for my skin tone and taste. I’m THRILLED a Butter Yellow will be part of my Spring. Thank you Louis!

  52. gk27

Uh-oh, I just received my driftwood pearls…and they are mocha. Luckily for me, I was wishing I had ordered mocha instead!

  53. Becky

Oh WHEW! The Simulated Pearl Earring sets are available for ordering now! No pictures yet, but one knows their appearance from the necklaces:-)

  54. Kathy

    Ladies
Mock neck on line to order

  55. Jane

The boucle open front cardigan as well as the scarf are both up for ordering now!

  56. TexasBarb

The mock meck (A251584) just became available to order online.

    Enjoy everyone.

    1. gk

      THANK YOU!!!

  57. gk27

    Hi Louis.

I’m turning into a Nervous Nelly wondering when I’ll be able to purchase the boyfriend cardigan and mock neck wk (Navy). Please tell me they will post them before the show and not during!

    Take care,
    Gayle

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Since the cardigan is on one of the shows, it should be posted just before the shows, however the mock neck is an OLO piece somI have no idea when that will be posted. May not even be this week for all I know

      1. gk27

Thanks! I can’t wait. They are beautiful.

  58. Mary Jane

    Hi Louis,
Will your “Whisper Knit” pants ever come back? Have seen them on models at various times and you referred to them this morning as ‘VINTAGE’!!! I truly missed out on them, do you think they will come back?

    Thanks for your FABULOUS designs

    Mary Jane

      1. Mary Jane

Thanks Louis – will jump on them if they ever come back. In the mean time, will try the ponti knit. GREAT shows.

  59. Nancy

Hi Louis, I fell asleep just before your appearance last night and had to get up early this morning to review everything presented on the video view. Anyway, I ordered the Prima ballerina top in both Lapis Blue and Heather Gray and I’m am so, so excited. It really is feminine and flowing. I have ordered the heather gray leggings and am waiting for those to arrive and I’m wondering if you just “might” consider a pair of lapis blue leggings?! I love wearing one color and accessorizing with your jewelry. I have a lot of it and my choice for each day is which necklace, earrings I want to wear. I’ll be watching from work today (with volume on low) and can’t wait to see the models in “my” new tops!! I always learn so much when I listen to your comments. Hugs from my heart to you and your beautiful wife. What an inspiration to us all she is 🙂

    Red

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Red…….I would love to do the lapis legging, but this is the problem. Color bottoms are a very difficult sell. All of the basics sell, and the colors are always left. This makes it difficult to get reorders

      1. Nancy

What a shame! Would any of our other readers out there be interested in the blue leggings?? Ladies?

  60. BCM

    Hi Louis,

Will the new boucle scarf in green coordinate with my malachite boucle topper? Thanks.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      No….it’s a totally different color more like the sea,green……a blue/ turquoise/ green

  61. dee

    Hi Louis,
I am patiently waiting for the jean jacket to come back. Missed out on it last year. Do you know when it will be back in stock? and is there a new color?

    thank you Louis,

    Dee

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The jacket will be back in Mar or April…don’t remember. All the original colors will return plus the new Aqua which will go with last years Aqua Wk

  62. Kate

    LDO–Happy Show Day!

Can you tell me more about the new boucle scarf (239322)? Specifically is the start of a new grouping and will there be more coordinating pieces coming? That mango is calling out to me…

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It is the same yarn as the tunic from last fall ( 2 styles), in black walnut forest green etc. the difference is the yarn has been doubled up so the pieces are heavier….there is also a open front cardigan with a fold over ribbed tuxedo collar and ribbed sleeves….4 colors….PM Style on the 27th

      1. Kate

Thanks for the info. I’ll be all over this one.

        1. Debbie M.

          It is available yo order.

  63. Marcia

    Hi Louis

Hoping that you see this before airtime. I have a question with the jacquard shadow jacket. Click here measurements seem large. I do have the boucle topper- and even though the measurements also seemed large- stayed with my normal size (actually- I tried to size down and it was not the right fit). Should we stay with our usual size for the right porportion and fit?

    Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

This jacket has NO stretch so I would not recommend sizing down. If you own the topper and you are happy with the size that is what you should order.this type of jacket looks better, IMO, larger rather then too, skimpy.

  64. Sherry

Hi Louis, do you know who will be hosting each of your shows tomorrow? Shawn would really rock the Prima B tunic with the Shadow Jacket…just saying…just her style.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Shawn…..and your right….she would rock it. My hosts are Kirstin 2am, Jill 5pm ans Jacque Gonzales 11pm

      1. Sherry

Will there be a OTO on your last show?

          1. Sherry

Thanks, safe travels, see ya tomorrow…

  65. Parisa Javidi

    Hi Louis!

Just a quick question. Will the new Lapis Prima Tunic work over the Lapis sequin skirt?

Thanks so much for your beautiful clothes.

    Parisa

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

WOW…..Der Parisa….I should have thought of that. I tried them together and they are perfect together. I would recommend tucking in the bottom of the Rayon portion into the skirt with just the chiffon over the sequins….It really is a fabulous VERY EXPENSIVE LOOK…..great for a spring/summer special occasion in the LAPIS, and so different from everyone else…….of course it wouldn’t be bad in the BLACK TOO.

      1. Parisa Javidi

Thanks for such a quick reply! I am so excited to get this tunic!

Much love to you & Jac.

        Parisa
