I reviewed it on its webpage and loved all 3 color combinations. I most especially liked that the stripes matched on the sides at the seams. The work of a quality garment.

Thought of you today … while going through the mail, I found a Vermont Country Store catalog. Page 23: Scotty Dog Tin filled with black or red scotty dog licorice bites … made me smile: we know our dear Jac loves licorice 🙂
They feature them often in the catalog. We have ordered them in the past. We still have the tins but the licorice is long gone.We both LOVE licorice.
Ah, I’m not surprised … Did make me smile when I saw those little scottie dogs 🙂 My mother had a great fondness for real licorice. When we were in the Netherlands, our riverboat was diverted to the small town of Veere when the queen decided to celebrate her birthday in the town we were supposed to dock. Our tour director was so excited, and walked us all to a very special tiny candy shop, filled with old style licorice candies you can’t get anywhere else in Europe anymore; many were way to strong for most Americans LOL. None looked like scotty dogs …
The Q needs to give you a 2 hour show on the 16th…there’s all of these goodies and so little time…LOL. I saw where you said you are going to be on the Morning Show with Jane and Pat for several things…it’s gong to be fast and furious next Friday.

Dear Debbie………..the colors are very close, but the dress is a little warmer. The P. Pink is slightly bluer. I don’t know if the difference is enough but there is a difference.
Interesting. The Tee dress in pink looks cooler on my monitor! It does, however, look like it goes toward peach in the picture on the right hand side of my screen. Is that the more accurate color? Thanks so much!
The pink is very similar to the perfectly pink so if you can wear the P?P. you can wear this pink. It is slightly , and I mean slightly warmer.

Hi, Louis. A heads up—it appears the Black Glass Bead Necklace is SOLD OUT—AGAIN! I missed it AGAIN! Will they reorder it? I don’t know why I didn’t go on Waitlist—a definite screw up on my part. I think by the time they filled the Waitlist there were none left!!! Luckily I have a real JET 2 strand 36″ necklace with a lovely Silver and Marcasite Station on it, and matching earrings, so I have the look—and I’ve worn it with some of your clothes and it looks great, BUT, I want yours, of course, because it is more versatile without the Silver station and I can wear yours with Gold.
I did snag a Grey—so there’s that!
Dear Sheesh….that was fast….you should definitely go on wait list especially for the jewelry. They order enough to fill the wait list but not much more…..so the wait lis5t number is important. The grey is gorgeous and can take the place of black in some cases.

Not really…it’s a miss-match. The same color was sent to both factories, but the cardi is a little deeper and a little pinker…….I think you are better off with a contrast.

I would love to hear more about the new skirt and anything else modest and pretty coming for plus size!!! Also in the feather jersey skirts, I am a 1x but in the new striped cap sleeve I found the 1x top pulled too much across the lumpy areas, and am waiting for the exchanges in the 2 shirts in 2x. For the newly arriving rayon span items, would you recommend 2x if we are fruit salads( Apple and pear)? ;-))

Hi Louis, I’m hoping you can help me regarding sizing on the new t-shirt dress, the tunic from the same fabric was just a little clingy through the hips in my regular size small and it had to go back. I’ve a 36″ bust and 39″ish hips and will be heartbroken if the dress is also clingy through the hips, however sizing up would mean it would be quite large through the bust (41″ I believe). There is no hip measurement on the q size chart so I’m wondering if you can either provide a hip measurement or sizing advice. Essentially, if the tunic ran snug through my hips in my normal size, should I expect the same from the dress and size up?
Wanted to add that I loved the way the denim dress fit in my regular size due to the extra room through the hips. Also, I’ve ordered the t-shirt dress in all 5 colors so getting the right size is paramount for me.
Morning Louis, the Q has listed the t-shirt dress and they have a 5th color called Pink on waitlist…is there really a 5th color???
I tossed the pink into my cart when I was ordering black, blue and olive. What an awesome dress and a super good price. Love that it’s all cotton with plenty of stretch, and has a nicer pocket than the usual ones that are set into the side seam and bulge open. Can’t wait!

Hi, Louis. I just wanted you to know that I love the new printed crops, denim pants and the embroidered tunics. The fit for each is great, so I’m glad that I ordered all the colors. I can’t wait to receive the new peasant tops. They look so comfortable and summery. I do have a question that may have been asked before. I have most of the colors in your pearl jewelry collection and love them all. I was just wondering if you have considered having them made in black. I think black pearls are so beautiful, so exotic. The ones I have seen and coveted are not jet black but much darker than your gray pearls which I own. I would love a black pearl button earring with the teardrop ivory pearl. Then I could wear both black and ivory pearl strands and layer with your past black, gold bead with pearl necklace. You must think your ladies are never satisfied, but the truth is that we just can’t get enough of your designs!

Dear Louis: Earlier reply never recorded – I called QVC Customer Service and told them a Lady posted on your page that her “fish” shipped 5/5 and she was on waitlist. I told CS that I was on waitlist since 3/4 and mine did not ship. She said “if Louis brought in 50 and 500 are on waitlist, you won’t receive the pendant.” So I am again screwed by QVC – after my easy pays are paid up, I can close my account – tired of being duped by QVC and blaming everybody but themselves. thanks Louis.

Dear Toni….the next time someone answers you like that get their full name and I will report it. This person is obviously uninformed on how things are ordered by QVC.
Hi Louis, after seeing the video of the new cowl neck dress there is a long discussion on the QVC board. Many are cancelling their order or just passing after seeing the gray dress on Jackie. You said we needed to all wear our spanx. In the video Jackie’s back fat and rolls were very visible especially when she turned and walked away. Many on the board thought she was wearing the wrong size (too small). Did she not have on the right shaper (spanx) or would she have looked better in a larger size dress? Everyone including myself are concerned about the clinging to our rolls and back fat (above and below the bra). It looked to me like Jackie did not have a shaper on. What are your thoughts on this?
Dear Judy….thank you for making me aware of the post…..I looked at it. I would have preferred it if Jacqui had worn a size larger. Some of these shapers do more harm than good creating bulges where the shaper ends. I can not tell the models what to wear as far as under garments are concerned….it can be somewhat uncomfortable and even embarrassing. I do not believe Kerri was wearing any shaper under the dress, but I wasn’t present when they got dressed. Kerri was already dressed to give Josie Moran her cake and Jacqui changed from her Rene outfit to the dress while I was already out on the stage with Lisa. Getting the dress in the right size is paramount. Someone said the fabric I use is the same as Logo…..it is nothing like Lori’s…..Yes they are both Rayon\Span, but Lori uses a thinner lighter quality which is appropriate for her “layering”. My quality is heavier. With the proper undergarments I think this dress will be flattering on many women. I do fit on a 1x model for the plus sizes and the dress looked very good on her. Of course if one has rolls and bulges this may not be the best choice, but then what drapey jersey would be?

Louis, another piece of good news is that my BUTTER mock neck WK sleeveless top (on waitlist since January) is “in process” and should be on it’s way to me in a few hours. Other Linea Ladies have posted online at the Q that the kimono cardi in butter as well, I think, as a V-neck in Butter are now up for ordering.

It can look good. I have the pebble crepe crops coming in June that I know will look great with it. Wide pants can work too as long as you are not overwhelmed…..usually abetter look for tall women.

I just love your linen blazer and wide leg pants. As mine is a more casual lifestyle, I would like to request a more casual style if you can repeat this same wonderful fabric for spring/summer 2015: same pants in a capri or crop length and a v-neck unlined flyaway style cardigan jacket with a one large button closure to wear over a WK tank. I am not the biggest fan of jackets with lapels. Thanks!
Love the idea of a linen blend crop/capri pant for next year…I love to wear linen. Another idea for next year…a top similar to the pebble crepe top with the boat neck and 3/4 sleeves out of an almost sheer weight linen blend to wear over a tank/or not…easy breezy.
Louis, It may be too late to request colors for spring of 2015, but I would love to see your crepe jacket and pants in yellow, pale green and light pink. Your designs are so classic and beautiful, I wish I could get one of everything. I have this jacket in every color, absolutely love it and when the pants are available I get them too if not I have fun mixing and matching. If not the crepe, then maybe the ponte knit. But whatever colors come I will get them.

Dear Pamela……I can honestly say making a 90″ pearl necklace is very unlikely. The manufacturer already raised the price of the 72″, but the increase wasn’t passed along to the ladies, so I doubt QVC would ever consider a,90 inch length.

I own (4)colors of Linea 72″ & plan to collect more colors! By adding a 3″ extender – can wear as a 5 strand choker. Just recently wore my PP pearls with J264043 in Bronze as a twisted torsade & rec’d many compliments. The Black is still waitlisted – does this mean a reorder coming in this faceted design?

I believe I said the skirt was approx. 31 inches ( I’m not home to check). Yes the cap sleeve top will go with the Lapis….it will be a pale blue under the deep blue….the way the red boyfriend cardigan looks with the red cap sleeve top. Same with the black cardi…..pale gray under black.

I noticed that the cap sleeve top comes in the same three colorways as your linen tweed jacket and pant (I have the black tweed set) so I went for it and ordered the black cap sleeve top.
Actually, the red is nothing like the chili pepper, but the other colors will work well.

Hi Louis, A new item, #A254436, Cap Sleeve Knit Top is online this morning on QVC. I suspect that it’s just the QVC pictures, but the colors look strange — very pale — even though the descriptions say black, lapis and red. Can you tell us about these? Love that they have a cap sleeve. Thank you.

Good Morning Louis, Are there any more garments coming in your rayon/span jersey? It would be helpful if it had a name so that the matching pieces were eaiser to find. It is my favorite light weight knit right after the Feather Jersey.
The new A252354 skirt has become a workhorse in my wardrobe. I would love to have it in a shorter slim pull-on version as well, and straight leg pants, leggings, capris and maybe even shorts.Besides the A252353 matching tanks, it is the perfect finish for A299468 tanks in black, olive and magenta along with the A229467 drape front lace jackets from a couple of years ago. The A253378 jersey top with mesh sleeves is amazing, especially impressive that you were able to get that white of a white in rayon. I’m quite excited about this knit and look forward to more pieces. The Mambo dress is great as was the ballet tunic!
Also want to request white shorts for next year, perhaps in denim. Thanks.
Oh, Louis, I received my wisteria tunic. It is so lovely. I hope there is a re-order. Maybe you could do white with black trim along with any new color. I am sorry I didn’t get the black and tan, but as with your lovely things you have to order at midnight the day before and if you want more you are out of luck! No, it matches last years aqua, but you should check all of the styles especially the short sleeve V and scoop…..there maybe some aqua pieces left.

I received your wool coat, A229477, in black a long time ago when it was first offered (and I have enjoyed having it). A few days ago, on a whim, I ordered the same coat in rose quartz. It is absolutely fabulous. I live in the Pacific Northwest, so I often need a heavier coat, even in the warmer seasons, and sometimes a black, heavy coat just seems a bit much. I think this coat in the rose color will just be perfect. With tax and shipping the cost was about $150–amazing value. Thank you for such a lovely piece.

I understand totally what you mean by needing a coat for the north west weather, but black being to foreboding and heavy looking for this time of year. With the special misty light that your area of the country can sometime have….I think this color choice is perfect. You still look appropriate for this spring time of year, but can still stay warm for the cold weather. I’m glad you took a chance and I hope you will have great pleasure wearing it, besides the compliments I’m sure you will get wearing such a special piece.

I was referring to the color of the yellow denim. However I am a linea addict and if you make I will most likely buy it. LOL
Now I understand….Jac and I were in Saks 5th and Bergs the other day and they had the shortest dresses with the stiffest biggest skirts I’ve seen in a long time…..at least 4 to 5 inches above the knee, and these were “designer dresses all $1500 and above…….all I could think of was “mark downs” and even then I don’t know anyone over 25 who could or should wear them.

Hello Louis, I rec’d my denim pants/dress and vests, all beyond beautiful. I got the silver palm frond long necklace and am debating to get the gold one and thought about wearing them together as someone on Qvc forum suggested.( these pieces are so beautiful, I love them). I wanted your thoughts on what color earring one should wear when you wear the gold/silver palm frond necklace together, ( silver? gold or bicolor?). WOuld love your thoughts and your suggestions. Thankyou, I cannot believe how many beautiful pieces I have in my closet.

Dear nikki….first, if you are considering the gold palm frond…I wouldn’t wait too long…..second I would definitely put the two metals together…..third, you can wear any of the metal colors, they would both work. Are you suggesting one earring in each color or do you already own an earring that has the two metal colors in it?
I have an earring in two metal colors, although the finish might be off.
Since you already own it you should definitely try it. I also like the bold hoop in the gold with the necklaces if the palm earring is too much for you…..it is also a good change of pace when you don’t need something so dramatic.

I purchased your Linen Jacket #A253575 and Wide Leg Pant #A253577 from QVC in black. I received the jacket, but the pants were on wait list and I received them just the other day. HOWEVER, the zipper on the pants was sown incorrectly and could not be worn!!! I called QVC and I was advised to send back,and another pair would be sent right out to me! Now today, I received an email from QVC stating the pants were no longer available and I was given my money back!!! I just called and no one at QVC could help me get either my original pants back (which I will take to a tailor to have fixed) or get a new pair!!! PLEASE HELP! I am begging! I need these pants to match my jacket! Can someone PLEASE,PLEASE, PLEASE get me these pants in black in sixe 22?? I need them for a meeting! Thank you so much! Dear Jan…..I am so sorry you are going through this. There is nothing more I would like to do than help you, but I have absolutely zero inventory. QVC has or had every existing piece that was made. I can only suggest a solid pair of black pants. Is there no wait list? 9 times out of 10 the wait list orders get filled….especially pants.
QVC said there was NO wait list and would not even try to put me on any kind of list to get these pants. This is so upsetting! It is not my fault the pants were made wrong, so I just do not see why they will not help me at least get the pants back that I sent back so I can have them fixed. Will there be more of these pants made? If so, can I please be put at the top of the list to get my pants?? The pants fit just perfect and I was so excited to get them, just could not wear them due to the zipper not being sewed incorrectly. Can you at least help me get the pants back so I can get them repaired???
I just read what Sherry had posted and was able to purchase the pants!!! I am so excited! I took the CSR at her word when she said there were no pants left in stock. I am happy she was WRONG!!! Lets just hope the pants are shipped to me. I will advise when I receive them. Thank you for your follow up. It means a lot to me that you were trying to help, unlike QVC. (BTW, I purchase a LOT from QVC and am not happy even a Supervisor was not willing to help me get another pair of pants. I just feel they should have tried to help more.)

So pleased you were able to order them…a couple of suggestions for the future….
1. If you received a defective item that is fixable, wait till you have the NEW item in your hot little hands before sending the defective on back.
2. When the Q backorders something, or even if it is a NEW waitlist item…stalk, stalk, stalk…I get quite a few items that way…such as your pants.
These suggestions may help in getting what you want in the future.
Problem was that they said there was no wait list and they could not help me at all!! The Supervisor just said “Sorry, I have no way to help you get these pants”. What made me upset was that when I first got the defective pants and called QVC to make sure I could get another pair, I was told they had them in stock and they would send another pair right out as soon as I sent the defective pair back! This CSR may have not even check to see if there was any in stock. I would have never sent the pants back if I had been told they were no longer in stock, since I had to wait for them in the first place! I am just not sure if I will get the pants I just purchased. We shall see… Thanks for your advise. I was just so upset with the attitude the Supervisor gave to me. Just sorry I did not get her name. I got the first CSR’s name I spoke to but when I asked for a supervisor I was not able to get her name. Again thanks for your help!
The pants may have been in stock when the CSR spoke to you and someone else was purchasing the same pant at that very same moment and their order was processed first, leaving you holding an empty bag…(something their IT person needs to work on so that they don’t oversell an item)…AND when you spoke to the CSR after you received your email, the pants were most likely not in stock at that moment. Inventory comes in and out so quickly…that’s why if you want something you have to stalk…check as often as you can looking for the size and color you want. Not to defend the CSR actions, but, they have no way to pinpoint where your return pants are and retrieve them…can you imagine how many returns they get in a single day…WOW…and the CSR can not order a single item from the manufacturer. The Q does not hold extra stock in case something goes wrong with an order…it’s all up to the computer and their ordering system…hope this is helpful information to better understand the world we know as QVC.

I suggest that you keep checking back several times a day at the QVC website. (A QVC representative suggested this to me.) Sometimes checks don’t go through, people return things, etc. It definitely is worth a shot. I have had some luck finding items after they had been sold out. Most recently, I was able to get a brand new (not opened, still in original packaging) navy boyfriend sweater that sold out quite a while ago. Suddenly, it came back into stock. Persistence can sometimes pay off. I hope you get what you are looking for.

Just bought four of your skirts and two tops – great! Where can i buy those wonderful solid chunky black cuffs that your models wear to complete the look?
Some are from my collection that I have gotten over the years. I do have the J270118, black cuff which is much nicer than the QVC photo and the J278134, which isn’t black but looks great with black…..and it is chunky. I show both of them all the time.

Good morning Louis, I recently purchased on Ebay a “sample” of a Whisper Knit sweater. It had your Linea tag, but no A# or size. It is a jewel neck, long sleeves (no ribbing on the sleeves), and the length was just at the hip (not a tunic)and,again, no ribbing at the bottom. It is a lovely pale silver grey. I am wondering if this is a new style/color that will be coming with the new WKs this fall. I wore it on Easter Sunday with the Pewter suit and some labradorite necklaces and it looked beautiful.
Also, all my Palm Frond jewelry arrived yesterday. I bought all the pieces in both colors — I loved them that much! And, I definitely agree with you that for the workmanship and finishes on these pieces the price is actually quite reasonable. The earrings are a little long for me (I have a short neck) but I may add the fronds to my short necklaces (to make them the “original” seven fronds) or as another Linea lady has suggested, make them pendants. These are truly collectible pieces and I thank you for bringing them to us.

My palm jewelry arrived yesterday and I am astounded at their beauty. Thank you so much for getting these pushed through to production!!!! I have combed the blog this morning looking for outfits. It appears to me that you tend to pair this jewelry with the very basic black or deep navy solids, using either a high neck or a low neck. I have the black hi/low dress and also the navy tank/maxi skirt ready and waiting for this lovely jewelry. Did you have anything else in mind?
Dear Susan I am so pleased you love your Palm Frond pieces. I realize they are on the pricey side, but in order to do this kind of workmanship and detail….it cost a lot more. I love these pieces on ANY SOLID color. They look great on all the fiesta colors and all of the new colors like coffee bean and chili pepper. I can’t think of a color they wouldn’t look good on. Wearing hem with a print is possible too…it just has to be the right print……Really…..wear them with anything!
