    Good Morning Louis
I am very excited about the tights !1 What a stellar addition to your line.
I am wondering if you have any new maxi dresses coming this Fall .?
I really loved your Summer time maxi A233849. I own this dress in four of the colors.Fuschia, Aqua, Lime,Purple. And each one is a different look depending on jewelry and shrug put with them (I am older/ need the shrug).
Would love to see this style of dress in a Fall/Winter version.
Thankyou for all the wonderful designs I am sure are coming !

  2. Nancy

Hi Louis, Happy belated birthday. I hope this upcoming year of your life is the best yet!! When are the tights going to be available??? Wonderful selection!

    “Red”

  3. Jane

Louis, Just received the new Charcoal Grey color in the WK turtleneck — love, love, love it! This is that deep deep charcoal (and not heather!) the way I like it. Thank you! Just went back to order a second!

    1. Jane

Louis, I know there’s a cardigan coming in this charcoal color, but are there going to be any pants (Whisper Knit would be fantastic)?

  4. Writer with Flair (Patti)

    Dear Louis,
I am delighted that you had such a wonderful birthday. I cannot think of anyone who deserves it more. Your creativity, humility, flexibility, resilience, positive attitude, and commitment to bringing the absolute best quality designs, materials, and construction in your garments, jewelry, and now hosiery (yea!) is amazing. It is obvious that you love what you do—and so do all of your Linea Ladies! Thanks for everything and for being the wonderful, genuine person you are. May God continue to bless you, Jac, and the girls with all the best in life.
    All the best,
    Patti (Writer with Flair)

  6. Ellie

Happy birthday Louis! Hope you have a fabulous day!

  7. Carol

Feliz cumpleanos! I just returned from Mexico last night and your mambo dress was my salvation! It was like a sauna down there, but that dress performed perfectly, day and night. I also wore the brown Greek maxi, coffee bean shorts/blouse and the twig maxi/tank combo. You make travel so easy!

  8. Marta

    Dear Louis,
I hope you have a very happy birthday. You give us so much joy. I hope what you give comes back to you two fold.

  11. NJ Lady

    Dear Louis,
Happy Birthday – special wishes from NJ
I feel so honored to have found your clothing & this Blog.
You make us feel like a part of your extended family.
Your plans sound like such fun – enjoy the theatre.

  12. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Hope you do not mind this request, but with the very welcome inclusion of the tights into your line, I hope you won’t mind giving frequent pointers in the shows or here on the blog as to “how” to wear these. What goes with what. I’ve stepped “outside the box” while being a devotee of your line many times and largely with very good success. But the geometric patterned and the lace patterned tights, I’m going to need some “education” as to how and when to wear these. Obviously I’m a complete “go” with the opaque (Hey! I live in New England and wear these 8 months of the year 🙂 – and a “go” with the animal instincts as well even as the Lurex. The rest, I await your educating at least me, and I’m guessing some others, as we move forward in how not to “fail” wearing them. Many thanks!

  13. queendiva

Adding my voice to the choruses of Happy Birthday Louis!
Wishing many happy returns of the day to “MY” designer.

  14. Shari

    Louis
Hope your birthday is all that you want it to be! Happy Birthday

On another note– I have an idea. Would it be possible to design the
A233849 in a long sleeve version for the Fall/ Winter seasons?
Maybe in a jersey type fabric .In Black, navy, chocolate, some kind of print??
I just LOVE this dress and I have four different colors. I really am going to hate putting
them away in about a month. Thought this would be great in a medium weight jersey
fabric with tapered sleeves that could be pushed up or not.
    What do ya’ think??

  15. Chris/Jazzmom

    Have a wonderful birthday!!

Maybe Jac will let you have another hot dog?

    Regards,

    Louis,

I just got your scoop neck tank in ROYAL PURPLE!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This color is absolutely incredibly GORGEOUS!!!! Please confirm that this will be coming with a matching drape cardigan or other matching piece.

FABULOUS color ~ more, more, more!!

    thanks,
    Debra

      1. Debra

        Hooray!! Thank
you and have a very happy and healthy BIRTHDAY year to come!

      2. Goldie76

I was hoping for this, too. Hurrah! I know, I know, I’ve been known to be critical of drape fronts, but YOUR cardigan in the WK I can handle. The drape is not exaggerated. Yay! I was so hoping for a royal purple cardi for the tank.

        Enjoy your celebration today!

  35. nicklaus

The Leather Blazer with Knit Sleeves in “Luggage Tan” A228554, is now available for ordering on the Q.

  36. Chris/Jazzmom

Love the new colors in the V neck tanks (A237404)!! Looks like the purple one is tonal to the purple boho skirt. The nutmeg brown looks like the topaz color in the L/S WK sweaters of last year and the Petrol Blue reminds me of the previous color Mallard Blue only it looks brighter!

Thanks for the colors in these tanks– now will there be matching cardigans in these colors moving forward into fall?

    Regards,
    Chris

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris…these three tanks are the tip of the iceberg, and you are wise to get them while they are avail. By the way….it’s not a V neck.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

Oops, I knew that!! Its a scoop neck!

      2. Debra

        Louis,

I just got my scoop neck tank in Royal Purple!! PLEASE bring this in DRAPE CARDIGAN.
This color is incredible, absolutely, completely, fabulously GORGEOUS!!!

Please ~~ I hope this is coming in the drape cardigan? Any other colors in the drape cardigan and matching tank?????

        Thanks so very much,
        Debra

  37. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

I have a request. Would you please consider doing a knee length legging in your cotton/span fabric? You have done the ankle length and crop length, which I have purchased, but a knee length would be great for my work out times at the gym. Knee length would come just to the top of the knees, but no shorter than your bermuda shorts of this season. Thanks for your consideration.

    Carol

P.S. I am loving your coffee bean whisper knits and cotton shirts–what a perfect shade of brown!

  38. Sherry

Will you start the sneak peeks for Aug 1st before your appearance on PM Style, or will you wait until after that day??? Hopefully before…just love looking at the clothing and how you have styled it. I’m a Diva in training and learn a lot from how you put things together…LOL. Looking forward to the sneak peeks…

      1. Sherry

Enjoy, it’s well deserved. I can wait on the sneak peeks. I think I can, I think I can…LOL.

  39. Pamela

    Dear Louis:

Been taking advantage of this typically “slow” fashion season – stocking up on Linea WK’s, Online Only’s & clearance items before your Fall Showings. In fact, rec’d my latest shipment today from the Q – they came early to my surprise. We are having a beautiful Summer (somewhat cool) fishing has been great – sailing too~!

First thing I noticed arriving home tonite was that my hollyhocks bloomed since early a.m. They look spectacular next to my delphiniums along our back fence line. I immediately thought of you of far away Long Island Sound.

See ya & Jac soon on the tele. . . Be good, but naughty when you feel like it – HA!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela….it has been an unseasonably cool July for us too…..those W Knits may come in handy!

  40. Orlando Barb

    Louis!!

Love you, love you, love you! Aside from your beautiful clothes that monopolize my closet, I’m going to thank you for your “dates page”! I am like a hawk when it comes time to hunt QVC for your next show! Thank you for being such a sweetheart and keeping your ladies up to date!

  41. Ginny

Hi Dennis, is there going to be a TSV from you this year? Fingers crossed that the answer is Yes!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ginny…..I think you’re on the wrong web site. I’m Louis….not Dennis, but you are welcome to my website anytime…..and no I do not have a TSV scheduled this year.

      1. Ginny

Thanks for your response. I am so sorry to hear you aren’t having a TSV and I’m sorry about the name mix up……I guess I need another cup of coffee! Enjoy your day!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

No problem Ginny…..Dennis is a friend and a terrific guy………..enjoy your day too!

  42. Kate

I’ve noticed that you’ve not done much for us in plaid, particularly for winter. I think the houndstooth pieces were the last. May I make a request for next year?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have steered away from them because they are very hit or miss, but if I see one I really like I will definitely consider it.

      1. Kate

Thank you! I guess houndstooth isn’t really a “plaid” is it?

  43. ceodih

Louis your new beaded v neck tunic A255672 is up on QVC. Got mine in chocolate.

  44. ceicei

Love your “important dates” addition to your website. Now I can make sure I catch all your shows. Thanks to Kate for suggesting it.

  45. designista

Dear Louis and Jac, totally enjoyed the Fourth of July photos of you and your lovely home and garden…beautiful. The house if very interesting and although it appears to be a Colonial Revival, the chimney placements are a puzzle. The one on the gambrel roof end is typical, but the second off-center one is not. Was this original or part of the addition? I’m assuming the dormer on the older part of the house is original, but was the first floor under the addition original? The window proportions on the gabrel end are sectacular! If you don’t have time to respond, I won’t be offended…just curious about the history.

  46. Sherry

Afternoon Louis, may I ask what and when is the next Linea jewelry coming for us to enjoy? Please…and thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry…..that’s an excellent question! I have no idea. When it comes to OLO product I never know how long it will take to process through the system since on air product gets priority.

  47. Deborah

    Dear Louis,

Will A237404, the whisper knit tank in the new royal purple, go with A229474, the pleat front boot skirt in violet? I think wearing the nutmeg tank with the same skirt in teal, while playing with coordinating scarves and jewelry, will add a fall look to outfits that can be still be worn on the hottest, Indian summer days.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Deborah….”go with” is very relative. I looked at the two together, and I personally like the colors together….but that’s me. They do not match and are quite different, but if you are clever with accessories, belts, scarves etc they can look very interesting together. They are both red purples, but the skirt is more red and deeper. I am sure there are women who would look at the two together and say no way. For me, I look at colors like this and it becomes a challenge to see how I can make them look wonderfully unexpected together.

  48. Sherry

Good afternoon Louis…will the August 1st show have ALL NEW FALL items for us to enjoy??? Fall/Winter is my favorite time of year…I can finally wear clothes, layer as I wish and not sweat my makeup off…LOL. I think it is much easier to stay warm than to stay cool…The Hubby completely disagrees with that statement and would love to move to an area that has no Fall/Winter to speak of…What would a girl do without a Fall/Winter wardrobe?…LOL. Thanks as always.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry…..I’m with you….I much prefer cool over hot. I do not know what the Q Planners will script for the Aug 1 show. There is certainly more than enough product for two shows and since this is “Fashion Day” I would assume it will be all or mostly all new.

      1. Sherry

WOW…they haven’t told you what is on the show yet??? Looking forward to all the Fall goodies coming our way.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

There is a lot of new product for Aug and two shows planned plus a PM Style so I they haven’t “planned” what product will go on which show. When I get the “script” of the show I will have to scramble.

          1. Sherry

In the Inside Q magazine they have you listed for 3–1 hour shows…Aug 1st at 5am, Aug 18th at 6pm, and Aug 19th at 6am. Have they changed something since the magazine was printed?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry….As far as I know my show on Aug 1 is at 5PM, not 5AM…..I will check this out. The other dates and times are correct. I will also be on PM Style on the 18th, but they never list appearances….only shows.

            2. Sherry

Oopps!!! My mistake, yes Aug 1st at 5pm…WOW, there must be a boatload of stuff for Aug with 3 one hour shows plus appearances…love that you are on more than one time next month…however, the funds have to be stretched out to cover the whole month…LOL. Can’t wait for the sneak peeks to start.

  49. Sheesh

Hi, Louis, I know it is late in the ordering game for a request—-but I did pull out A215166 yesterday—the short Boho Skirt that came in Black, Aqua and Yellow—and I wore the Black with the Perfectly Pink WK Tank from the Twofer Pack—it’s a great length—short and sexy for the tall gals and a great length for those of us who are height challenged, like me! Please think about bringing that back with the “oldies But Goodies” Thanks much. You and Jac have a great weekend—weather is stunning here in Longmeadow, MA today.

    1. nikki

I would love this also. I missed out on this and love the look. It is the same as the silk chiffon ikat print skirt, which I love and want you to bring back also.
      Thankyou

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki, unfortunately, neither this pebble crepe or the silk crinkle Ikat print did well enough to reorder, so I probably will not go down that road again. Many have made requests, and I will research each one to see if they are viable, but if they returned high or were not best sellers I will not bring them back.

    2. Deborah

I love A215166, too, Sheesh! I’d love another in black, because I think I am wearing mine out! I’ve even worn it, along with Louis’s jewelry, (and a top, LOL) to dressy occasions in the spring. It has enough movement and was short enough to be sassy, but is long enough to still be ladylike. It packs better than the short, pleated, boho, A227575. Luckily, the tile skirts have taken it’s place this summer.I own at least 7 of the traditional boho skirts, two of them in prints, as well as last year’s silk-like ikat skirt, the pleat front knit boot skirt A229474, the shorter, pleated boho, the fall pull on, long pleated skirt A227575, and the long, abstract patterned skirt in brown, A23003, (LOVE,) but, like Louis’s dear mother, I think the knee length skirts are more flattering on me. Louis, thank you SO MUCH FOR the tile print skirts. These skirts are my hands down favorite skirts of all time. I don’t often buy multiples in patterns, but I have always loved playing with putting different, unexpected colors together. With the gorgeous and unusual color combinations of this skirt, the art deco influence in the flowers that reminds me of Tiffany’s stained glass panels, the fact that they are light as a feather, don’t wrinkle when packed, and that all match with anything black or white, as well as a plethora of other colors, these are the easiest and most flattering skirts to pack and wear. The pattern and colors are so beautiful, the fabric is worthy of being framed in a shadow box and hung as art. Thank you!!!

      1. Sheesh

Deborah, I adore the Tile Print Skirt, too and I got it in all three colors—wore the Wisteria today! Get compliments every time I wear them! Thanks, Louis, for bringing this great print skirt to us. How about bringing us solids in this skirt to wear with all of our print poly span tops?!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi….as I have said on air…..the tile print is my all time favorite print on so many levels, and I am so happy you like it, but alas it did not do as well as I thought it would. You never know what people will like or dislike…..no crystal balls.

  50. Mimi G

Hi Louis! I hope all is well with you and Jac, Will you be bringing back the ponte knit leggings in black xxs or even xs, A239321? I bought three colors originally, 2 of each. But I would like to buy more black. I hope all is well and you are enjoying your summer. Stay well.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mimi, the ponte knit legging has not been reordered. I seems the only color that sold well was black. The walnut, gray and wine are still avail. However the A252344, cotton span legging has been reordered in black.

      1. Pamela

That’s wonderful news Louis. Own many, many leggings & hands down – those are a favorite. Another standout is the T Shirt dress – purchased in ALL colors available! UR simply the BEST! Enjoy your day.

      2. Pat

Such a shame Louis … only black…these leggings are so beautiful, but as usual mediums sold at so quickly. I was wishing the buyers would bring back the twig or at least the navy.. Will you have a different legging? Is black going to be the only color?

        Thank You,

        Pat

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pat….I think Black and navy are coming back in the cotton/span knit. I will be doing a “legging” for fall, but it is not your typical legging in your typical fabric. It is strictly a winter legging. I will have leggings as part of my new “Linea Body” line, but that’s a whole different thing.

          1. Pat

            Yippie …….yeah!!!!… Thank You !!!!

  51. Carol

Louis, I hope you’re off on a relaxing vacation, but if not maybe you can help to solve another QVC Linea mystery.

Item A253359, the floral print peasant blouse, is now showing blk/wht and why/blk as color choices, but there is not picture of the “new color” which is almost sold out, while the original color shows all sizes in stock.

Is there a new reorder of this blouse in the existing color way, or is there a reorder for next year in the reverse color way and they’ve just mixed up which is which?

It’s always “fun” to try to figure things out, isn’t it?

Anyway, I love that blouse/crops and would definitely like a reverse print, just in case you’re thinking about new colors for next spring.

    crdlb

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….just a QVC mystery/mistake….there is no wht/black and there are no reorders on this shirt

      1. Sherry

I saw that some time ago and the only size available in the “Mystery” color has been the XL. I just don’t know about the people that work at QVC…LOL.

  52. DeLois

I would love a Kate shirt in a blended fabric…… the cotton takes a lot of time to iron, hence I find I don’t wear them as much as I would like to…… A little poly in the cotton would help so much…….

    1. CJ

I agree. I don’t wear mine much either. I also need it to be a little longer.

  53. nikki

Louis, how does the pewter t-shirt and cardigan look with the grey ponte knit skirt? Thankyou

    1. Sherry

Yes, I would also like to know how the Pewter Flecked tee and cardi look with the Gray Ponte knit pants/leggings/skirt…Inquiring minds what to know…LOL.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry…..I looked at them together and the sweaters has lavender cast compared with the ponte and the pewter crepe pant. I prefer it with black.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki…..the sweater has a lavender cast next to the ponte…..I prefer the sweater with black

  54. Jan

Louis, forgive me if this has already been asked but could the “Kate” shirt be made with a “silky” fabric? I own several cotton ones but the same shirt in silk would be lovely.

    Best to you,
    Jan

    1. Diane

I second that request. The Kate shirt in real silk would be fabulous!

      Hopefully, Diane

      1. Karen in WA

I am still wishing for a pink Kate shirt in any fabric.

        K

        1. Yvette

          And I second that request!

  55. Susan (aka carlytwila)

I hope I am not too late with this request for next spring/summer…. I am packing for a 5day long weekend in upstate NY. I know it can be reallhot and sticky so my first layer will be dresses and tile skirt. I went searching for something to throw on over the dresses and found things that worked but are not perfect….thus my next challenge for you: 1)Solid color including black, white, navy, 2) short sleeve 3) Cool and travel worthy..no wrinkling 4) short length that wont “take over” a dress, Basically a little wisp of a jacket. My short sleeve whisper knit jacket one button at neckline is a great style but too heavy. Feather jersey shrug doesnt cover enough, 2nd wk shrug emphasizes large chest and is only apprpriate for some occasions. The lace jacket is too busy for most of my printed dresses. The blush and black floral faux crepe de chine is perfect weight. The georgette safari jacket is usually what I wind up packing but it does not look as polished as the short wk jacket. I would greatly appreciate your inventive mi.d on this dilemma! I have a great array of Linea ready to go! Thanks for all you do!!
    Susan

  56. Shan

    Louis

Will my favorite ponte knit pants with the elastic waist be coming back this year? It is #A233639. I hope so!

    Thanks

  57. Pamela

    Dear Louis:

Forgive if you have previously addressed – any chance of a reorder on the Ottoman Jacket & Skirt suit? – if so, colors?

Also, may I add to the “Encore” list on the Home Page for your consideration (& your buyer)?

    TIA

      1. Pamela

Oh well, feel lucky to own in the Spruce & my Gray Ottoman skirt IS a terrific stand-alone. Great soft suiting for travel – So causal Chic. Hope you’ll find some “like” fabric for your future designs, Dear Designer!

p.s. Will make sure to check my visiting middle Sis’ luggage before she departs as she loves all things Linea too! & wants my green Ottoman suit – LoL!

      2. Enjay

So sorry to hear this. I own the black and grey skirts – love them – but missed out on the jacket. It sold out quickly and never came back!

        Anything similar coming for Fall?

        1. Goldie76

I bought all three jackets. That is one snappy number, I’d like to say. My body could not successfully carry off the skirt, but I think the jacket’s interesting fabric and simple yet innovative style flattered many body types. It was a supreme success in my book and represents the sort of fashion excitement you provide to us. Thank you, Louis!

    Louis,

QVC notified me today that they were canceling my waitlist orders for two of the new turtleneck colors, Item#A72448. Hunter green and clay were the colors they canceled.
Are those colors still being made but just canceled by QVC? I was able to order these colors on May 27 so am hoping these were canceled because they reached the 45 day timeframe and not because they weren’t being made.

    Thanks as always

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear TexasBarb….the colors are definitely coming….I really don’t understand how their system works or why they continue to have such a confusing program….but “mine is not to question why?”…they will be coming for this fall season…..and you will be pleased with the colors.

      1. TexasBarb

I am glad to hear they will still be available. I agree their system is hard to understand. I’ve had two other colors on waitlist for the same item and they haven’t canceled them yet. I will put the hunter green and clay turtlenecks on my list to watch for.

Thanks again for all your beautidul clothes and jewelry

    Hi,
Just received the new flecked knit top. Its soft and beautiful.

Just wanting to know if you could hang in closet or do you think it needs to be folded?
    Thanks again

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear NJ Lady….they are very light and I don’t think there would be any problem with hanging them on the proper hangers….other wise be safe and fold. I usually only fold them in half once [length wise] and then fold the sleeve in. The less folds the better. I never fold the sides in to make them narrower.

Well, count me as another who DVR’d your show and just planned to “watch.” After all, I thought that my closet was already full of summer Linea. Ha! It turns out that I couldn’t resist ordering the ikat print shirt jacket in both colors and the printed drape front jacket, which I had managed to resist up to this point. Oh, and the cap sleeve knit tops somehow jumped into my cart, too – all three colors. Obviously, I really enjoyed the show!

  61. Karen in WA

I really enjoyed your show. In the Pacific Northwest, I couldnt stay up that late, or get up that early, so I DVR’d it. Sat at my leisure and just loved it. I knew I wouldn’t buy anything, just get ideas. Ya, right! I finally caved on the hydrangia top, I too, have several in my yard. Also got the red ikat jacket. When Karen from Texas called you asked if it was the Karen who writes on this blog, and I choose to believe you were thinking of me. I couldn’t stop smiling. I also love Hollyhocks, and for some reason I can’t grow them in my yard. I got a Hollyhock bush from QVC, and the flowers are simular, so it satisfies me, with pretty oldfashion pink flowers. Happy summer Louis!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Karen….I did think it was you, but I should have realized the Karen on the phone was from Texas and I knew you live in the PNW….just got too excited to realize it!….Maybe next time and if they do ever put you through you have to say “I’m Karen from the PNW” and I’ll know for sure….LOL

    Hi,
So happy I saw your show this am.
I bought the boho skirt in smoke
Didn’t realize it matched the Gorgeotte top & tank which I allready own.
    Can’t wait to get it
Love to see how you style things.

Waiting for the new pewter top

LDO–a website design suggestion? Please consider adding a “showtimes” tab to your nav bar so we can easily keep track of when you’re on the Q, particularly the non-Linea shows such as PMS, AMS, or the early morning fashion show. I know things change in terms of your appearances and this would be an ideal way to let us know.

    1. Anne Laskin

      Great Idea Kate!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate it sounds like a great idea, but at the risk of seeming totally stupid….I have no idea what you’re talking about or how to do it????…..LOL

      1. Kate

Sorry–that was too much unnecessary tech speak. What I mean is for your web designer to add another page to your site similar to Ask Louis or Home. On the page you could list all the dates for your upcoming shows. It would be the third tab on your navigation bar (which currently has only Ask Louis and Home).

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I forwarded your message to my webbie and asked him to do this……let’s see what happens.

Such a fun, lively, upbeat show this morning despite the early hours. As always I have new ideas for how to wear my Linea and am starting a list for fall based on the (too few!) sneak peaks you gave us. That new turtleneck looks pretty interesting! Glad I bought all my tile print tops already as they’re mostly gone!

Dear Louis: Got a house full of Lower 48-er’s & forgot to record today’s show. On Q website – listed as “Recently On Air” A252347 Lace Skirt – No Video! The BIG question – How did you style this lovely? I so wanted to see this skirt & top presented. . . .

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sounds like fun!…..I showed the aqua lace skirt with the poly v-neck short sleeve white T shirt and the Aqua denim vest…..wanted to give it a more casual look, because this lace skirt should be worn both ways.

      1. Pamela

I’ve got the Aqua vest! That’s how I would wear it to the office on casual Friday’s. Will add the Aqua Lace skirt to my current order. Thanks for your reply.

p.s. Are those old fashion Hollyhocks in your July 4th pics? Mine won’t be blooming until late this month or early August as I grow them from seed collected the prior year (Winter’s too cold to reseed on their own). Hydrangea, Peonies & Hollyhocks are childhood favorites.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela…..yes those are old fashion Holly Hocks….and I love them and grow them every summer. I was lucky this year because these happen to be from reseeding from last year….I didn’t do a think, but I’m not always so lucky. With all the cold and snow we had this winter I was sure they wouldn’t come back, but they are the hardiest ones I’ve had with multi stems and lots of blooms. Thy are such unique plants. You really can’t see all of them in the photo…..The almost black/burgundy ones are further back.

          1. Pamela

The Black/Burgundy are so very mystical & a great contrast to the “happy” colors. I grow Alaskan Chocolate Lilies (a wildflower native) that cast the same spell in early Spring!

            Stay cool. . . !
