Louis– I WL ordered three of the pebble crepe tunics in the new colors back in June. I just noticed that my order
has been cancelled. Do you have any information as to when these might be available again for ordering. THANKS!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They will be avail in Feb…….when a new reorder item isn’t due for 3 months and it’s posted as a wait list item they get automatically canceled. It’s a strange glitch in their computer program. I’m sure you won’t be the only one being cancelled

      1. diane bloch

Louis- Thanks for taking the time to address this matter. I guess that means the pink cardi I have on WL might get cancelled also. By the way I purchased both colors in the super ponte leggings and they are fantastic. I feel I will be able to wear them here in LA year round.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

diane….I don’t know why the new reorder colors are posted as soon as the order is placed even thought it may be anywhere from 4 to 6 months before they are avail. The computer will not hold a reorder that long and automatically cancels it. It’s a strange program, and I have had many conversations about it, but it seems to be a very complicated fix……so I don’t discuss it anymore and eventually you all will realize when it happens…this is the reason.

Hi Louis, Just want you to know that I received the lace print top yesterday. It’s gorgeous, drapes beautifully and fabric seems of very high quality, but it is humongous. It was out in my size M, so I got the L. It still seemed huge so I compared it to measurements of the Hydrangea top–I have all 5 colors, and a M matches the S measurements in the Lace Print. Why aren’t women’s clothing sizes standardized?
Also, when I do reviews for Linea, I always add accessories. When you search for Linea jewelry it’s not a complete list. I tried many ways to bring up the jet jewelry to “add” to this top, but I could not find the Long Necklaces or the Station Jet necklace still in stock. Maybe you can ask why the list is incomplete.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cela…..I have no answer for your sizing question, as it always seems to be a discussion I have with QVC and my manufacturer. Why would you order a L when you are a M? If anything the clothes run generous so the L would definitely be too big for you. I have forwarded your note to both my manufacturer and my buyers……….As for the jewelry……the long necklace is sold out so it wouldn’t show up, but I looked and the station jet necklace, J291535 has the picture listed.

      1. Anonymous

The lace print and the summer tile print both ran a size larger than the hydrangea. It seems to be the fuller cut in the hips and the bust darts that made it larger. I had to size down from xl to large for a fit that looks and feels the same. Love them all!

    Hi Louis:

I purchased the Whisper Knit Sweater w/ Rib Detail(A210360)in the “Berry” color a few seasons ago. Is this the same color as the Whisper Knit Pencil Skirt(A237412)in the “Aubergine”? Also, will the “Berry”/”Aubergine” coordinate with the Fully Lined Button Front Tweed Jacket (A237642)in the “Raspberry”?

    Thanks and God bless,

    Soldout

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kimparker….sorry for the delay…I had to find the sweater. The berry is nothing like the aubergine. The berry is much redder. The berry does work with the tweed jacket.

  4. Shari

    Hey Louis,
I was wondering and have a question. Not only for you, but maybe some of the Linea Ladies could chime in as well.
When wearing the shooties, short boots, what length of skirt looks best? And what style?
I’ve looked on line trying to get an idea, but there is nothing for referance.
Would it be possible to have some of the models wear them on your next show with the proper outfit so we can get an idea?
That way we could actually see how it looks.
    Thankyou Louis

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shari….Shoe boots work with every length skirt. What’s going to make the difference is the leg…..that’s one of the main reasons for the new Linea Body Tights. A nude leg works sometimes for short skirts, but anything below the knee by 3 inches looks better with opaque tights. It it’s an open toe sleek shoe boot than a nude leg is OK, but anything else…a tight of some kind….any of my tights, sol8id or pattern will look great.

      1. Shari

Looks like I’m all set then, because I have ALL of your tights.
        Bring on Fall.
        Thankyou for the insight

  5. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

Adore your new funnel neck sweater. I originally purchased the white and then I went back for the other two colors. It is so soft and the neckline is amazing – so many options and they all stay in place. I also like the length – almost tunic and looks so chic (long and lean).

I also wanted you to know that many homes and businesses are red-tagged in Napa(have structural damage} but we still want everyone to come visit the Napa Valley – we are open for business and need support.

    Thanks,
    Dariann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dariann…I am glad you said that about Napa being “open”. Friends of mine have had a trip to San Fan and Napa planned for months and were so worried many of the restaurants and wineries would be closed…..they decided to go anyway.

  6. queendiva

    Hello Louis,
A request for a future WK color: smoky blue.
I think that color is neutral enough to compliment the coloring of many women, and goes so well with my staples of black, walnut, denim and navy.
Thanks for the consideration of my request and for being MY designer.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Just to be clear….what’s the difference between a “smoky blue and the “cadet blue” I did in the Posh Knits….which I consider a smoky grayed blue?

      1. LauraL

        Hi

I’m not queendiva but I for one couldn’t do the Posh Knit due to allergies so I would love a cadet blue in Whisper Knit. Although when I read her request I was thinking of a lighter hue than the cadet blue.

P.S. I love the tights that I have received so far. The fit and feel of the tights is great. I ordered all of the solid colors. I have put in my order for the lace and the herringbone as soon as they were posted. Also can’t wait for the sheer version.

        Laura

      2. queendiva

For me, smoky blue would be a bit lighter than your cadet blue.

  7. Seka

    Louis,
O.K. Well, then, how ’bout the new Suede/Knit Jacket – PLEASE – Style, Colours (there’s a RUMOUR that Olive is one option – Love Olive with Navy – especially Linea Navy)! Love Linea!

      1. Seka

Thank You! It is almost impossible to find an Olive Suede or Leather Jacket!
Years ago I purchased an Olive Suede Jacket (with Navy Leather Lapels and trim) by Laurel (a ‘sister’ Brand to Escada by Margaretha Ley from Germany). It was very beautiful – even the lining – an Olive, Navy stripe – and after a several years of wearing it – I gave it away. Have been looking for a replacement ever since – and I think I just found one!

        1. Seka

BTW – forgot to mention – I already purchased the WK Shawl in Olive! And I have the WK Pants and T Neck in Linea Navy!

  8. Kathy

Hi Louis. Saw your recent shows. I am interested in two items. The side button whisper knit tunic is great looking. Not familiar with whisper knit fabric. Is that actually a sweater, and would a tailor be able to make alterations to shorten the sleeves? Some reviews indicate the sleeves are pretty long, and my arms are definitely not long. Never asked my tailor to shorten a sweater.

Other question relates to the new tights. First of all, Bravo to you for bringing in tights up to a size “G.” I am 5′ 3″ tall and weigh over 200 lbs, with a majority of my weight from waist to low hip area. I am on waitlist for the tights. If these fit me, it will be a first. I’ve made numerous attempts up to size E in the past and failed. Even though weight range on that size was way above mine, they still did not fit. I know you cannot magically determine if they will fit; but would sure appreciate an opinion from you.

    Thank you so much.

PS love the white tunic with front bottom pockets I got earlier this summer.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kathy……whisper knit is one of my most successful sweater knits…..yes all Whisper Knits (WK) are fully fashioned sweaters. Yes, a tailor can shorten the sleeves. I can’t say whether or not the tights will fit you, but so far everyone who has purchased the tights is more than happy with the tights and the way they fit. I would suggest you try the new tights with the lace going up the back….the front is opaque. These will, give you a good idea whether they fit or not. Once the tights are sold out…they are sold out . If there any any returns they will not ship them to any one on wait list for obvious reasons. If they do well they will be restocked.

      1. Kathy

Thanks so much. Will order the side button sweater. Love anything that is sort of edgy/stylish and that sweater fits the bill.

Guess I’ll just take a chance on wait list order I have for tights in 2 colors and see what happens. I am confident from reviews that these will do well. Even if they do not fit me properly, there are so many women who will not have my particular issues and they are loving them. Never saw anything above size “E” and they were not plentiful on QVC. Yes, I saw those lace back tights on Jaq. Of course they look awesome on her, everything does.

Will keep my fingers crossed that tights fit. Will be a great replacement for just wearing knee socks in winter.

You are awesome for taking time to answer our questions personally. What a difference this makes.

        Best to you.

        Kathy

      2. Kathy

Sorry to be a pest. Not sure I am understanding your reply correctly regarding the tights. Is there a question about whether or not waitlist orders will actually be filled based upon popularity of the tights? For many years now, waitlist has not been done unless there is a strong possibility that they will be filled. I don’t want to miss an opportunity to try the tights. However, I never wear skirts/dresses so would prefer tights without lace or any other decorations.

        Thanks again for advice.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kathy….in order to reorder a color, or style minimums have to be met. They can’t reorder one or two sizes in one or two colors….that won’t meet the manufactures min. So when the inventories get low they will reorder. I have no idea when that will be. It totally depends on how they sell.

          1. Kathy

Thanks for explaining to me. I was thrilled about waitlist because I had confidence that I would eventually receive the item. You are the only designer on QVC offering sizes F and G. They really meed to give your tights actual presentations on their own so that more women are aware of the availability of these previously unavailable sizes, and also beautiful and special tights. Every review is 5 stars on the ones received by customers thus far.

I will go on Community board and campaign for this to happen. Am sure all of your Linea ladies will participate. Thanks so much.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kathy…..there will be no formal presentation….It will have to sell by word of mouth which is much more difficult. There are so many women who are just discovering Linea after almost 15 years….so how are they to know I am doing this wonderful quality line of tights for all of you? It will have to be done by word of mouth….so all of you help is much appreciated.

  9. Kathy

New tights are on line to order ladies.

  10. Pamela

    Dear Louis:

I’m an instant Super Fan of your ‘new’ Super Ponte – Love it! The jacket, the leggings – ahhh, simply wonderful.

Have many reviews to write as soon as my current guests leave after the long weekend. All 5 Star, of course.

Very happy woman in Alaska – Thanks Dear Designer . . .

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela…so happy you like the new Super Ponte. I appreciate the reviews.

      1. Pamela

I would love, love a sleeveless sheath dress with a matching jacket in the super ponte – yes a Winter sleeveless dress! Don’t you think with the amount of stretch, a fitted sheath would work for all sizes?

Simple sheath – retro, but modern. . . .just wishing.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela….do you really think a sheath dress will fit all sizes and shapes??? I think not. Since the Q is required to buy a style in all sizes it makes it difficult to design certain items. Though I would love to do a sheath dress in the super ponte, I could almost guarantee high returns. Just the fact that most women are two different sizes top and bottom is a challenge to get a dress to fit in the first place…..

  11. Shari

    Hi Louis
Just received my two WK sweaters with the collar. I so love them.Would love to see more colors in this type of style.
It’s really feminine and looks great with the longer mid calf skirt and tights. I did go out and get some killer shooties.
Can’t wait to wear all my LDO collection, as soon as the weather cools. With all that I purchased on the last show– I will indeed be ready.
Looking forward to your next show and the sneak peeks can’t come soon enough!!!
    I know— patience.

  12. Seka

    Louis,
Any ‘HINTS’ about the Faux Fur Reversible Coat – Style, type of Faux Fur, Colour options…….Please!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Here’s a hint…..it’s due in November…..LOL

      1. Cela

LOL, good for YOU, Louis !!! HA HA HA !!!!! NOW, What kind of “skirt” does the new WK dress have, please ????

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

          Same to you!

          1. Cela

Drats ! rolling on the floor laughing! ROTFLOL

      2. Sharon Santourian Holman

        Awwww…come on.:)

  13. Kate

Hey, I’m in withdrawal here! Any news on new OLO offerings such as tights, jewelry, WK coming our way between now and your next show in late, late, late September?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Checking.?.probably in Sept.

      1. Carol

        Tights are up NOW! Woohoo!

        1. Kate

I didn’t mess around and ordered two black lace, one navy lace, and a black in the herringbone and pinstripe. Betcha back for more colors.

          1. Enjay

I’m not messing around either. I’m getting the three new styles in black … although that walnut herringbone has me pretty interested!

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

They look really good with the walnut WK or Ponte knit skirts!!

            2. Enjay

I agree … and got the walnut too! These are killer tights, Louis!

  14. Eve

Louis, Love your Ponte Knit Leggings- they are all you promised and more. I wanted to let you know, about your warning for the southern state ladies and the ponte material being too heavy. You forgot the air conditioning we have in the South, especially in the offices. I wore the leggings proudly with your flowing Big Shirt — hot humid East Texas 98 degrees, no problem at all. Thank you for all you do.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Eve….that’s good to know. I really did think they might be too heavy for my southern ladies.

  15. Pepper

    Dear Louis,
I love my new mid calf skirt suits in all three colors! I am reminded a few years ago I asked about bringing back the midi length riding skirt in whisper knit like the one you used to sell in the acrylic blend. I loved mine and it’s flowing a- line but alas after many years a replacement would be welcome, perhaps something to consider?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Pepper….what suit is this? I don’t remember a suit in THREE colors….two yes….three?

      1. Pepper

Sorry to confuse,I’m calling the new nutmeg, black and blue whisper knit skirt, cardigan and tank ensembles a suit. I have your whisper knit in every color and form, except need another of the illusive black flared knit midi riding skirts from years ago. It was the same weight as whisper knit but in the acrylic blend.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

          I believe it was a cotton/acrylic blend

          1. Pepper

Right you are, so would that same style succeed in whisper knit?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think so. It would be lighter in weight, and more expensive because the duty on cotton garments coming into the states is much lower than rayon, poly etc.

  16. Enjay

    Hi Louis,

Will there be any more whisper knit sweaters coming in raspberry this season? I got the shawl and love the color – but the raspberry funnel neck sweater is sold out in my size. I’m stalking and hoping!

      1. Sheesh

Hi, Louis, can we get the Raspberry in WK next year to go with the shawl—a T-Neck, a V-neck—to go with our shawls for those of us who missed out on the funnel collar in this color? Is it too late for 2015? Thanks.

        Sheesh/Sheila

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

          For you…..the moon!

  17. Shari

    Hi Louis
Any Fall/Winter maxi dresses for this season?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      No…….no maxi dresses this fall

  18. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Amidst all the wonderful Fall/Winter Linea items we’ve been enjoying – far and away my favorites have been the mid-calf WK skirt which I purchased one size down from my usual Linea skirt size. I love it so much I’ve slowly acquired 2 in black, 1 in petrol blue and 1 in process of shipping in Nutmeg. And I’ve paired the two bright colors up with favorite # 2 for me – the open front cardigan, which I also was lucky enough to get in black! Just a fabulous chic looking outfit – achieved in seconds. # 3 have been the pants. I wrote you a year or two ago about my problems with fit in Linea pants. I’m SO happy that the petite sizes have solved this problem completely for me. I received the 2nd of the 2 pairs of ponte knit pants I ordered in petite today and it is completely novel for me to be able to open a package of pants, pull them on, have everything perfect about them and I’m ready to go. I’m extremely happy with that. Now I’m stalking more ponte knit pants in petite. With the Farmer’s Almanac predictions for the north east – NH in particular for me – I’m thrilled to have been able to get 3 pairs of perfectly fitting whisper knit pants this year – all in the petite. # 4 have been the tights of COURSE. I think I have them in every color so far 🙂 # 5 – just a given – the latest WK turtlenecks in charcoal and navy and waiting on the hunter green. Thanks for bolstering up my winter 2014/15 wardrobe. Extra pieces like the new WK scarves we’re waiting to see – are just plain GRAVY! Kudos and much appreciation!

  19. SOLDOUT

    Soldout

  20. Dana

Just wanted you to know how much I love your style and quality. I recently bought your black ponte knit jacket (I prefer the longer length on me), love it and went back for the taupe. Now I wish I had bought the leggings but I hesitated with the 28″ inseam (I’m tall). I also bought my first WK skirt–so comfortable, will be buying more and the WK shawl is in process. On the horizon are several pieces of jewelry, sweaters and cardigans (longer lengths preferred) and a few more skirts. Count me in as new member of your Linea ladies…I’m checking your website regularly so I won’t miss out on your next fabulous item.

Thank you for styling your pieces as a complete outfit with several options, it helps to be able to visualize how a piece will fit into one’s personal style and existing wardrobe. Excellent work!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dana…….I’m very happy you discovered Linea. Welcome to my website home.

  21. Becky

I am back!! Do not see a reply yet – did I miss it??
When, if ever, will I see a slack available in “Chili Pepper”???????????????????????????????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Becky…..I didn’t see a question from you? am I blind? Color pants are a hard sell….they are always left over….so I have no plans for a C.P. pant.

  22. Chris S.

    Dear Louis,
Last fall and winter I lived in your ponte knit tunics: Scoop neck tunic A237398, V-neck tunic A237391, and Hooded zip front tunic A239315. I have multiples of each style. They were perfect for my retired lifestyle. Can we look forward to more colors in these styles or other styles in this more casual look? I felt so “pulled together,” yet comfy, by adding a scarf or some jewelry.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris….the only style that has been reordered is the scoop neck, which is basically the same body as the pebble crepe….It is planned for Jan. selling. There are no additional styles planned in thew ponte knit for this fall.

  23. SullyPat

    Hi Louis,
First thank you for all of your beautiful styles. I have several closets full! I just can’t help myself. I am probably too late for the 2015 spring/summer season but was wondering if you could make the classic long sleeve v neck sweater (A 217629) in some of your beautiful spring colors. I have found myself needing a long sleeve sweater this summer and would love to have it in a lighter color. I have worn my navy and black every where.

      1. Sheesh

Dear Louis, I second that request for a WK Long Sleeved V-Neck in lighter summer colors—softer than the Brights—especially a soft Aqua, a Coral and the same soft Pink as the Cotton/Poly/Span Tee Shirt Dress—what a fabulous Pink that is! We’ve had a beautiful summer this year in New England and I have worn my Black WK V-neck to evening concerts at Tanglewood as it got quite chilly when the sun set. It’s also a great sweater to wear when I go sailing on my brother’s boat in Newport/Narragansett Bay–it can get chilly out on the water and the sweater is perfect. Thanks Louis.

        Sheila/Sheesh

  24. Natalie

Hi Louis, I love the Kate, Robyn & I have the Poet in every color..the other day I was thinking I would love to have a Kate as a bodysuit to wear with skirts. This idea may be too unique for the Q.. but you do create wonderful bodysuits! Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I sketched that a while ago as I did many shirts with body suit bottoms at Anne Klein, but they thought it would be too hard to sell. I guess with all the sizes they do,it’s true. I only made them to a size 12 at AK.

  25. Sharon L

It sounds like the ladies are requesting the “Robyn” shirt you did a few years ago. I have it in navy and it hasn’t faded at all. I prefer it to the Kate shirt cause it’s longer and is great with leggings. Are you bringing the poet shirt back? Would love it in olive or black. If the q hasn’t reordered the poet shirt maybe you can do the poet shirt with a cuffed button sleeve. Thanks for listening to our requests.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon….the poet shirt has not been reordered, and you know the Robyn shirt only made it one time around. It does sound like what they are asking for is the Robyn shirt, but unfortunately it had hig returns wear as the Kate shirt keeps selling and reordering. I loved the Robyn shirt, but it did not do well enough to be reordered. Since the basic difference was the length I don’t know if I can repeat this style. Why do you all think it had such high returns.

      1. Cela

Do you still have the measurements for the Robyn, compare it with the Kate shirt. If women couldn’t button it, that would be a reason for returning.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

From my recollections the Robyn was a little bigger. I no longer have that sample.

          1. Carol

How about a sleeveless Robyn for summer? I’d love that.

I think the Kate and Robyn had different fits–if you ordered the Kate first, you’d think the Robyn was oversized, hence the high returns.

I have both styles and love them both, although I do like the Robyn better.

          2. Cela

Maybe the Kate is just a prettier shirt. I don’t remember the Robyn, but I have two Kates, and it’s the most gorgeous shirt collar shirt I’ve ever owned.

P.S. So looking forward to the fashion TN. Louis is there a chance for this in a sleeveless style?
Can you drop any hints for the WK dress coming? Details, Louis !

      2. Sharon L

I can only guess that the reason for the returns is that pants were wider and flared a few years ago–no one was wearing leggings or slim pants so the longer shirts were not in vogue. When I first got the shirt I wore it like a jacket. When I started wearing closer fitting bottoms the shirt came out of the back of the closet. Also the q is better about giving measurements on line now so it’s easier to figure what will fit. Maybe you can talk them into it.

      3. Maia

Louis, I wasn’t aware of your clothes when the Robyn was available although I was able to get a poly (moleskin?) version on clearance. I have no data, but I suspect that you have more tall customers than you did a few years ago. The Robyn may go over much better now. Sharon L also has a good point about women needing longer clothes to wear with the now popular leggings & slim pants.

        1. Grits

Sharon and Maia both make excellent points regarding possible reasons for returns in the past. I’m 5’8″ and adore the Robyn and would love to have it in more colors in both the cotton and the faux suede versions. The Robyn fits like a dream with the princess seaming, the perfect length and the oh so flattering cut of the shirt tails. I also own the Kate but it is a closer fit than the forgiving Robyn. Robyn is my “go to” when the weather cools. I have three cotton (white, navy, khaki) but only one suede (purple). Please bring more!

      4. Judy

I too own and like the Robin but the square cut bottom is just not as cute and flattering when worn untucked over skinny jeans and leggings. I think what most of us want is an easy fitting, long shirt tail hem (at least 30 to 32 inches). I think more of an easy fitting, longer length Kate shirt in the same fabric. I did find the Robin to run larger and more boxy. A long tailed boyfriend shirt in your fabric would be a dream!

        1. Kate

I agree that it was boxy and big on me whereas the Kate isn’t (and yet I can still button it. Kudos to you for figuring that one out!). I bought several and still wear them, though I did have 2 of 4 that I own shortened for versatility.

      5. Holly

        A214116
Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Button Front Shirt with Pocket — really want this shirt made into a easier fitting tunic length — like 32 inches. Pretty please

  26. Sherry

Morning Louis…do you know which items are reorders for the Sept show?

  27. Toni

    Dear Louis,
Thank you so much for all your beautiful fashions that are timeless. One thing that you repeatedly show so beautifully is the variety of colorful berets that complete the perfect fall/winter look. I have tried and tried to duplicate your hats and cannot find them anywhere that equal what you have in color and shape and quality.

Please please find a way to make them so we may look as finished as the models on QVC
If it is too late now then perhaps next year. Would gratefully appreciate it.
    PS Happy birthday late
    Toni

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Toni…..I have tried and tried to get the Q to buy berets, but so far no luck….I do recommend you google berets….you can get all the basic colors you will need and some fashion colors. Mine came from all over. When ever I see them in a store I just pick up colors I don’t have.

      1. jmarie

I’m not a hat person, but for those who are, if the WK shawls/scarfs are successful (hope so!), I wonder if a WK beret might be an up-sell option? I don’t recall ever seeing such a combo on QVC. I would think an ENR WK would have enough body to fashion a beret.

  28. Judy

I like a good white shirt and I love the fabric you use for (A214116) the button down shirt and (A213626) the poet shirt. I have a request for a longer length, button down shirt such as a boyfriend shirt. I love this look over leggings (covering the bum) and slim fit jeans. A long white shirt, slim leg pants and a pair of (Tieks) flats is such a cute retro look! I know, I know, another request but you can style a shirt to fit a woman (with curves). Thank you for the beautiful designs and fabrics you bring us.

    1. CC

I second that request! Louis really would love a plain and strip boyfriend Linea shirt. Very long – mid thigh. Think the Kate shirt only longer and roomy. Want it tailored with all that Linea shirt details and stretch cotton. OMG I really want this in pink, blue, and white. Have actually been looking all over for this shirt. Can’t be found. The long shirts out there just don’t have the details or perfect mens tailoring of your shirts. Finger and toes crossed;).

      1. Jazzbabe

I third this request. Your shirts are the best and it would be great to have a tunic length one to wear with leggings or slim jeans. I also love my Tieks.

        1. Sharon Santourian Holman

          I 4th this request!

          1. Yoko

I agree, very much want one if your shirts in a long tunic length. With shirt tail hem. Not as fitted as your regular linea shirts–relaxed tunic that Burton’s all the way down. I would like it in coral please or any of the colors already mentioned thank you.

            1. Pat

Me too, longer in the back shorter in the front with your fabulous figure enhancing cut would be wonderful!!!!

  29. Connie

Hi Louis, Saw that you were already into fall of next year. I have a request.
I already own all colors A228554 and A238539. Love your leathers, please
consider a dark navy in either. As always, thanks for all you do for us.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Connie….if any of the leather jackets gets reordered….a dark rich Linea navy is yours!

  30. Kim

Hello Louis, I’m new to your line. I just purchased the funnel neck sweater and the rib knit pencil skirt. I have a question: why is heather grey so much more common than solid grey? My preference is solid grey and I’m usually disappointed. Is there a dyeing issue with grey? Thank you so much. I can’t wait to receive your pieces.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kim….Welcome. I am very happy you have decided to try one of my designs. Heather grays are really no easier to dye than solid grays. However, when dying a solid there are more variables on how the color can turn out. Some solid grays can have blue, yellow, or pink casts, so in that respect I guess it is a little harder to achieve the desired color. The white in the heather sort of unifies the over all color. Heathers are usually more expensive if they are yarn dyed, meaning you dye the gray yarn and white yarn separately and then twist them before knitting. In the end it’s just the choice of the designer.

  31. Sharon L

Just got my order from your august show. Followed your advice to size down on both the ponte and super ponte and the fit is perfect. I wear a 14 in the pebble crepe pants but went with the medium petite in the ponte. Love them. Got the black in the super ponte and walnut in the ponte. If it helps any of the ladies, I’m an apple shape and wear a 14 in most brick and mortar stores

  32. Grace

Louis, I heard you say on one of the recent shows that you’re working on the fall 2015 collection. I’ve also noticed in the past, you’ve asked the ladies for their “wish list” of clothing and I just wanted to add my “wouldn’t-it-be-nice” item to the list, if that’s okay…I’d love a maxi version of the wonderful sequin skirt A238538 you did last year, with a side or back slit. I’d probably wear it all holiday season with a black cashmere turtleneck! St. John did one years ago priced around $700, but I’m guessing yours would be just as fabulous, but at a fraction of the cost! I own your sequin skirt and matching top in black and wear it to both dressy and more casual events (I throw a black blazer over the skirt). Having a long version for the holidays, travel & black tie events would be the icing on the cake. Just my two cents…Thanks for all you do!

    1. Kate

What she said! I’d love a sexy, long sequin skirt. Wearing the short red one to an event on Monday but would adore a long version for more formal events. What a great idea!

      1. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

And if you could make it the same shape as your maxi ponte skirt (which I just recently discovered I love!), that would make it even better!

        1. Grace

Susan, I adore that maxi skirt, too, and the tulip shape would be amazing in a long sequin knit. Be still my heart.

      2. Carol

        Me three!

        crdlb

      3. Sheesh

Oh my, a long sequined skirt would be fabulous—with a WK T-neck or a White Kate Shirt, worn out and belted, collar turned up!

        Sheesh

  33. Chris S.

    Hello,
I’ve been purchasing your lovely clothes for several years now, but this is my first time writing to you. Among other things this month, I ordered 3 pairs of the reorder pull-on ponte knit pants. I was so glad they had been reordered. I had one pair last year and loved them. I ordered them on August 13th knowing they would again sell out during the show, which they did! I checked UPS tracking today and found out they had been damaged in transit and had been discarded by UPS. Of course, QVC will credit my account, but I really wanted those pants! I thought I was set for the fall and winter. Is there any chance they will be reordered this year? It would be wonderful if your buyers would keep some basics like these pants in stock.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chris…that’s a terrible story! I am so sorry that has happened to you. Unfortunately, the factories are producing spring, and the pants will not be produced any more this season.

    2. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Chris S. Please consider “stalking” ~ checking every day when you think of it on the sold out pants ~ to see if someone has returned a pair, or more, in your size. I know it sounds SO futile but I was kicking myself about not ordering 2 pairs of the black WK pant in the petite size that ended up working well for me. I figured black would NEVER come back. And this morning there is was ~ 1 pair only ~ but I was able to get it ordered. I never caught this ponte knit pant last year and was able to get 1 pair in black in the petite this year which turned out to fit me like someone waved a “perfection” wand and of course my size is gone. I’m not giving up though. When you love something and you know the size you need – it’s worth a try! And I’m with you 100% on keeping this basic pant in stock. Even if that’s only wishful thinking!

      1. Chris S.

Nancy, I also have picked up items when I’ve “stalked” the website. As a matter of fact, I was able to get a second pair of the black crinkle crepe cropped pants just this morning! I’ll keep trying for any returns of the pull on ponte pants. Thanks.

        1. Nancy (AKA TheOwl)

Good luck on that Chris S 🙂 Those WK pants I grabbed up in the petite sizing – instead of shipping are now described as being on “backorder”. I’m not giving up though and I too keep on checking the Ponte Knit pants every day 🙂 Here’s to successful “stalking” all around!

    3. Lyn

Chris, I’m not sure what size you ordered, but someone has 3 pairs of Petite Medium ponte pants listed for sale on the Linea Lovers Delphi forum.

      1. Chris S.

Lyn, Thanks for the info on the pants. Unfortunately, they are not my size.

  34. Lyn

Louis, I really enjoyed both of your recent shows. I bought the new super ponte jacket in black, the ponte pull-on pants in black and navy (lost out on the charcoal, and hope these will be a reorder, with perhaps more colors), and the Missoni-like top in brick.

I already have the Petrol Blue and Purple OTO cardigans and matching tanks. I almost got the zip front cardigan, but I’m pretty thin on top, and can’t wear anything too fitted. So now I’m thinking of going back and ordering the Nutmeg cardigan and tank that was a OTO, but unsure if the color would be right for me. Petrol Blue and Purple are gorgeous colors. I have auburn hair, light skin and hazel eyes.

Also, do you have any idea when the animal jacquard zip front jackets (that are a reorder) will be available to purchase? I want to buy several!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lyn….It’s really hard to tell if a color will look good on someone without seeing them. The Nutmeg will certainly go with Auburn hair and Hazel eyes……your skin color can always be adjusted with the right color blush and lip stick. So I think it can work. You also can always mix nutmeg with black, navy and charcoal….it doesn’t always have to be worn as a set….that goes for your Pet5rl Blue and Royal Purple. I think the animal jackets are for Oct, but I never know for sure. Sometimes they decide to sell things earlier than planned, but I will always give you a heads up.

  35. Sunny

    Dear Louis:

I just received the super ponte leggings, the super ponte jacket and the funnel neck sweater. I love funnel neck sweaters but they never seem to work for me. They just never seem to want to lay properly and just look bunched up. Yours is perfect! It just fell correctly on my shoulders right away – no fussing with it at all as I have in the past. I’m glad I ordered more than one. Also I have many of your leggings but these are the absolute best yet. The super ponte is one of your best fabrics. And the jacket fits perfectly in my size (I am busty so I can see they might be roomy for a smaller bust). I also wanted to mention that I live in Houston and on your show you said the super ponte might be too heavy for there, possibly even in winter. While I totally agree they are too heavy to wear right now (110 heat index at 9 in the morning), I think they are the perfect weight for here later in the year and look forward to wearing them often in fall and winter.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sunny….I am glad to hear the Super Ponte will work for you….110 degrees…that’s unbelievable. I think I used the air conditioner 3 or 4 times this whole summer. Jac has a blanket on her as we watch TV! It’s quite cool here.

  36. Sharon

Hello Louis, just received my tunic whisper knit with the side button in Olive and I love perfect for my body. I also got the new shawl collar but the arm are a little tighter on me. My question is are there any new whisper knit tunic’s coming for fall winter. I really would like more colors in the side button tunic if possible. In fall and winter all I wear is whisper knit pants and whisper knit sweaters.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, there will be a few more…some in Jan.too Do you mean Hunter Green? I didn’t do the side button in Olive.

      1. Sharon

Yes your right the color is hunter green rather than Olive. Now I have the black side button tunic coming too. I like wearing the whisper knits as sets so a navy would be good for the new whisper knit to match the pants.

      2. Cela

Hooray ! for the fashion TN, which I’ll be able to tuck or not. At any rate,
it’ll be a tad bit longer and length is what I need! Now for the short sleeve and sleeveless versions !!! Maybe ???

  37. Sonia

Louis, the mahogany color of the collar sweater (A257383)is the most beautiful, exotic, color you’ve ever offered. PLEASE bring more in that color. Broken hearted, I will have to return the sweater because the ribbing at the bottom is very unflattering on my very plump, large busted body (size 1x). While the ribbing is loose, it still clings to the body, showing off my saddle bag thighs. It also puts more emphasis on a large bust. I prefer loose, but not oversized, clothes that conceal all my rolls of fat. I love the top of the sweater with the very cute collar.

While I’m commenting, I wish the sleeve and body length were not longer as the sizes go up. When one chunks up, we don’t get taller and grow longer arms.

Thank you for bringing for the work you do in styling outfits. I have learned a great deal from you, especially about mixing colors and patterns.

    1. Karen in WA

Oh dear Sonia. I have been trying to say ” When one chunks up, we don’t get taller and grow longer arms”, in a delicate way, but you said it all!!

  38. Dariann

    Dear Louis,
PLEASE tell us more about your new black turtleneck that you previewed on QVC with A257288. You said that the bottom is ribbed but are the sleeves and t-neck ribbed as well? Is it the same length and material as your other turtlenecks? I know that I will NEED at least 2 in black!
    Thanks,
    Dariann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dariann….I will give all the info with the sneak peak in about 2 weeks…..well before the showing….but yes it does have a ribbed turtleneck, sleeve border and, and wide bottom border. I call this the “Fashion TN”, as opposed to the Classic TN that you all have been buying. It is in the WK jersey.

      1. Dariann

Sounds fabulous and I know I NEED 2 in black!

      2. Cela

The problem I HAVE with greys is coordinating the warm tones with the cool bluish tones–which just doesn’t work, as far as I know. Then, you hve to go searching for a cool to go with this, or a warm to go with that…..but I LOVE grey, in fact, just got the TSV Earth ankle boots ! So interesting, in that, they COMBINE grey and taupe. Ha, ha, we’ll see. Any ideas, Louis ?

  39. Debbie M

    Dear Louis,

You are a class act. Have Jac give you a big hug from me. 🙂

PS. I have zero patience when it comes to Linea. I want it and I want it now! Have a great weekend!

  40. BCM

    Hi Louis,

What wonderful items are coming in olive? I am waitlisted for the animal jacquard jacket, and wondering what other pieces we can expect to coordinate in this color. I love all things green, and am enjoying your WK pants, v neck, flame stitch top, etc. But am anxiously anticipating your olives. Thanks.

      1. Sherry

awwwwg!!! There’s that word again…”Patience”…I don’t think that word is part of a Linea Lady’s vocabulary…he,he,he…LOL.

AND, you don’t have a show now until Sept 29th…there’s going to be a lot of “sneak peek” withdrawal going on around here in that time span…LOL.

  41. Beryl

    Dear, dear Louis,
just want to say how wonderful it is that you take the time out of your busy schedule to make such careful replies to all of your fans e-mails. Your mother would be proud of what a gentleman she raised.

    1. Goldie76

      Beryl,

I fully agree with your sentiments. Louis is responsive to the feelings of others, and there are not enough of such people in the world.

Being polite and kind are golden.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I fear civility is disappearing with being a gentleman and a gentlewoman. I am sure there are parents who are bring their children up well, but that’s not what you see or hear, and the comments people make are truly shocking. I guess manners are going the same route as civility..My parents were not strict….my brothers and I learned by example.

  42. Judi

    Louis-
The “super” ponte is the hit of the season! I loved your description but after I saw the models wearing the leggings/pants I knew I would need to send them back. WRONG!!! They are perfect. Although I’m not as thin as I once was, these are so flattering and the fabric is TDF. My only regret is that I missed out on the jacket. I will be hoping for a return.
I love the hunter green and am so looking forward to the cardi with your signature buttons, and the WK scarves.
I’m supposed to keep off the computer….pinched nerve which is affecting my neck and shoulder badly, but I had to let you know.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy…..thank you for the message….I so happy you like the leggings….now stay off the computer

  43. Barbara C

    Dear Louis,

I purchased several (many) items during your last visits. Have received the funnel neck sweater in wine and black; so beautiful. Also the new ponte leggings in black and taupe. They are wonderful–hope they don’t stretch out after a few wearings because then they would be too big; but I don’t think that will happen with this substantial fabric. The matching super ponte jackets in black and taupe are so beautiful. I ordered a 4–could possibly have worn a 2 due to my small shoulders. May take them in for alterations so they fit perfectly. Such beautiful clothing should fit perfectly. I will post reviews on the QVC website. Thank you to you and Jac.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Barbara…first if you wash the WK properly it will not shrink. You can get washing and drying tips from the Ladies who have owned them for years. Of course was in cold water. These pants should not lose their shape with all of the spandex in them, Again, wash properly. Hot waster can effect spandex after a while. Enjoy the ponte pieces and your new sweaters!

  44. NJ Lady

    Dear Louis,
You are a genius & wonderful designer.
I wrote earlier about ordering the new ponte leggings. I gave you my measurements & you said to size down to the Small.
I listened & after seeing the live presentation – I figured I’d be returning them. You were right, they fit perfectly, are substantial
weight & will be super this fall, winter season. The best part is the 28″ are perfect and I am all legs. I will be writing my review
    after this.
My question, I also bought the One Time Only whisper knit top with long ribbing in front in Medium – Purple.
Bought the matching tank in Medium. The top is perfect but the Tank is perfect on top but tight in the middle. If I wear spanx – its good. Will the Large be too big and just wear spanx? New to whisper knit – these don’t shrink – correct?

I know I am writing a lot but need your opinion
Also – can I hang in closet?
    Thanks again,

  45. Pat

Do you have any fashion tips for a woman with scoliosis? I’m 56, formerly 5’7″ but am now a little over 5’4 from the curvature getting worse. My weight is 146 and I try hard to stay in shape, so I hate the thought of just “hiding under a sack.” I have long legs and to me, anyway, look a little warped from having shrunk in the midsection only. Any comments would be appreciated!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pat…there aren’t any pull-on pants coming that I can remember

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pat…the advice I can give is all about attitude. Dress in whatever makes you HAPPY. Don’t ever give in to the condition you have and don’t try to dress in any way that you never would have because of it. Don’t you dare ever feel you have to “wear a sac”. It’s all about what makes YOU happy, don’t worry about anyone else. Don’t ever forget….you’re the leading lady in your life. Please keep in touch with me….I want to hear from you!

      1. PatB

Thank you so much – that is great advice! ♥ I truly appreciate your response. (Taking Sherry’s advice – didn’t realize there were two Pats and I’m new, so I’ll be PatB)

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pat”B”…you are very welcome. I know I didn’t give you any “fashion tips”, but I don’t think there are any tips. We all have our own woes and miseries. The tip is to thank God for each and every day we have, and to learn to enjoy it and forget as much as we can about our problems….so wear what ever you like and forget about the rest…..I always love to see little girls with their mothers and or fathers in the stores dressing like a princess or wearing their tutus for absolutely no reason other than they like it, and it makes them happy. Jac always comments, “when I was a little girl I would have been all over that look”. I think sometimes all of you have to capture that feeling again.

          1. PatB

I am so appreciative of your feedback and for taking the time. I walked on my lunch break and was thinking of your words, and I walked tall and proud! You are so true – each of us is dealing with something, even the people who seem perfect have something going on somewhere, we have to make the best of it! ♥

    3. Sherry

There appears to be 2 Linea ladies with the name “Pat”…it would be helpful to Louis if one or both of you would use a last initial or a from somewhere place to signify the difference so that the answers always go to the right person.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Never thought of that thanks….last name initial would be good.

  46. Pat

    Hi Louis,

Love the new ponte jackets and so many of your other items. My favorites are your pull on pants. Will you be offering anymore pull on pants in the near future?

I am hoping for some pull on pants to match the new colors shown in your new shawls.

Thanks to you and Jac for all you bring us.

    1. Sherry

There appears to be 2 Linea ladies with the name “Pat”…it would be helpful to Louis if one or both of you would use a last initial or a from somewhere place to signify the difference so that the answers always go to the right person.

  47. Beryl

    Hey Louis,
I usually don’t like patterned tops but ordered the Missoni print in brick. Well, when it arrived I almost didn’t open the bag. So much glitz definately not for this old lady and then I tried it on. The glitz became subtle and I love it. I should always trust your suggestions. Love my tons of Linea. WK and Posh Knits the Shadow jacket and the Anourak have a special place in my heart.
    Love ya

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Beryl…I am so glad you gave it a chance. So many would have just retuned without trying it on. If you read the label it doesn’t mention lures at all so I was a,little bewildered, because I could have sworn there was lured in it. It is subtle when you hold it up or wear it. It really only sparkles when the light hits it a certain way. I’m glad you like it, because I really like it a lot. Once you wear it in public I want to hear about the reactions you get!y9s

  48. Mimi

Hi Louis. As always, I hope you, Jac and the dogs are well. I just received your new super ponte leggings, 3 pairs, xxs. YOU WERE RIGHT! The fabric is phenomenal. They are a bit big in the hips, thighs and crotch but I am going to fold the waistband over. I love them! Maybe next year, you could make them in brown, navy and grey. I am waiting for the matching jacket and 2 more of the slim leg pants and 2 of the regular straight pull on pants. Again, thank you for making such quality clothing. QVC does not realize what they have in you. Your clothing is the only quality line that they have. I don’t go anywhere near Bloomingdales or L&T anymore. Thanks again and stay well!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mimi….I’m so happy you love this fabric as much as I do. I’m sure when you fold the waist band everything fit’s better. If you want to…it really is an easy alteration to shorten from the top. Usually to shorten this way it’s a nightmare, but because there is no waist band, and the elastic is sewn only at the top, it is easy to remove the waist band cut off whats necessary and replace the elastic….BUT whoever does the alteration must be able to sew stretch fabrics.

  49. BCM

Louis, one final comment about Kate’s necklace. I’m not surprised that it is not inexpensive. I expected that. It does have a very Grecian feel to it, especially the enamel detail. This will be a showstopper. Cannot wait.

  50. Cela

    Dear Louis,
Loved the way everything was styled on the shows, especially the NEW PEACOAT in Prussian blue. Love it with the Walnut. Do you think it will be too heavy for the West, what are the other colors?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cela…what do you mean the WEST? There’s a lot of west out there and some of it can get very cold. It is a tight boucle outerwear jacket…it almost has the feel of a boiled wool. If you ever have the need for an outerwear jacket than I think this will work for you. How cold does it get in your neck of the west?

        1. jmarie

RASPBERRY!!! Are you serious??? I’m going to assume it’s the same raspberry as the shawl, so I may just die and go to Heaven now (and be among the best dressed there!)

Now the fit: In that quick peak it looked to me as though it’s the same body style as the brushed cotton pea coat with the signature buttons of a few seasons ago. Am I correct? I sure hope so because I bought that jacket in multiples and it fits me as though tailored just for me. And it’s incredibly flattering and lengthening even though one might think a double-breasted might be a no-no.

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear JMarie……the Raspberry colors are exactly the same…..However the fit is nothing like the brushed cotton. This is closer to a B&M fit…it fits the way a “true” pea jacket should fit. I can only go by my sample which is an xs, but I would say it fits closer to the body for a younger fit and look.

            1. jmarie

Thanks for replying. I’ll just have to check the measurements, but that is worrisome because it usually means for me that the shoulder and armhole are too close in my usual size, and sizing up makes the bust and sweep way too big. We’ll see…

      1. Cela

Ventura County, Mandalay Bay which is about 70 year around, since it’s close to the Pacific Ocean, but winter nights can be chilly, dropping to about 50. I would say a camel hair coat is over the top here, that’s why I love WK so much. The boyfriend cardi, with it’s extra length is ideal year around. I’ve also ordered the Super Ponte jacket and legging in both colors and I already have the hammered anorak, both colors. I think the Peacoat is more appropriate for Tahoe and Vegas trips during the winter. Is it coming in a camel or grey? It is BEAUTIFULLY cut ! Thanks Louis.

        1. Cela

Ha. “Hammered” sounds bizarre when referring to a fabric. Textured is a better word. What are we calling that one?

        2. Louis Dell'Olio

Maybe when it gets to 50 you can wear it, but this is a true outerwear piece. Yes it comes in the same camel that I did last year in the pant and jacket with the asym. zipper. It also matched the camel Posh Knits.

  51. BrendaS

    Hi Louis,

    Love your sophisticated designs.

I recently let my hair go silver. Actually, it’s very similar in tone to yours. What are some good color suggestions for grey/silver hair? I’m thinking shades grey, navy and black but would love to venture outside my comfort zone. By the way, I have dark skin (a shade to two darker than Brenda on QVC).

One more thing – are the berets worn by your model yours? They’re fantastic.

    Cheers,
    Brenda

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear BrendaS….There are many colors a silver haired woman can wear….It’s more about the skin color that can be limiting. Brenda has a beautiful complexion and I rarely worry about what colors to put on her when I am choosing what model will wear which outfit. Grey, navy and black are just the tip of the iceberg for you…..You are one of the lucky ones that can wear all kinds of bright colors like turquoise, hot pink, lime, tangerine, lapis blue etc. etc. White and ivory will be your fried and very flattering…..you can wear, if you like them…any pastel from butter , pale blue, lilac, to Perfectly pink. I can’t think of a pastel that wouldn’t look good on you. Brenda looks wonderful in olives and browns too….from the coffee bean and mocha colors, which are lighter, to the dark walnut……Also, Brenda is a whiz with makeup and foundation colors to even out her skin tone.I would say go for it where color is concerned…The Petrol Blue, Nutmeg, Royal purple , Raspberry and my new taupe should all look gr4eat on you.

        Dear Louis,

Thanks for your prompt answer. I mostly wore St. John Knits in a former life for work and I started buying your line a few years ago. ($300 for a pair of pull on pants – what was I thinking?) Your designs are amazing, and now that I’ll be going back to work in a less corporate environment I need to still look and feel great. Going online to shop now. I don’t know how you do it for the price but I’m awfully grateful. By the way, I did a video audition wearing one of your tops and got the job…

        Cheers

Louis, I rec’d my leggings yesterday in the super ponte knit. They’re fabulous. I got them in black (2) and I love them. They are a dark black which I love and don’t look like they will lose their color. I am waiting for the jacket and sure wish i had ordered the taupe jacket ( I will keep looking on qvc for it). For now, the leggings are just perfect for nyc and the upcoming fall/winter season. I sure will look chic.I sure hope you will do other pieces in this fabric. Thankyou

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki….I am so happy you like the fabric….I took a big chance with this fabric because of the weight, but I knew it was fabulous and Jac LOVED it. I was sure there would be women who agreed. I knew it was not for everyone, but not everything can be for everyone…it’s impossible to please everyone. Please don’t forget to write your reviews….they are important and they are read.

  53. Jane

Good morning, Louis, Last week I wrote you asking about the sweep measurement on the new WK zip cardigan. I thought I’d report back to you that I received my zip cardigans yesterday and the fit is perfect! I sized down (as I normally do in WK) and the fit across the hips is great with plenty of stretch. Whisper Knit is great for being so forgiving! I also received my mahogany collared sweater and I love the color — between a deep wine and a brown — I would also call it Raisin. Very nice! Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jane….now you have a point of reference for any other sweater that I may do wit.H a wide ribbed bottom. The measurement will always seem small. If it was the same measurement as your hip it would be very big on you.

  54. rita donovan

I wore your gold fish necklace and 4 yes 4 different people commented how lovely
it was. I also have it in silver.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Rita…..it is definitely an attention getter.

  55. Birdie

Hi Louis! How many pieces in the “nutmeg” color will you be showing this season? Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Birdie….I am finished with nutmeg. Four styles…the draped front cardigan, the zip front cardigan, the skirt and scarf.

  56. Sharon

Hello Louis, I’m loving the new jewelry pieces coming. The Pave cross and the long earrings I would love to have. My question is did I see small colored crosses on the models on yesterday’s show? Could you please tell me what jewelry pieces are coming so I can put them on my list. I must say that no one designs jackets and blazers like you so I hope in the future the Q lets you design more jackets and blazers. I was hoping the new Pea jacket would be the one in the past because I love the design and buttons and would love in a wool blend.

    1. Carol

I’m particularly interested in the colored stone bracelet that Kate was wearing with the green cheetah textured top in the morning show. Is that coming our way?

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

No Carol…that is part of my collection…BUT…I am doing another cuff with set in color stones, that I think is actually prettier. I don’t know the delivery date.

        1. Carol

I’m always pleased with whatever you bring to us. A colored stone cuff sounds perfect!

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon…as much as I love blazers they have very high return percentages. the next jewelry to come is the 3 strand pearl necklace in ivory and gray pearls with a matching oblong button matching earring…clip and pierced.

      1. Anonymous

So sorry to hear about returns because when you look at the inventory a lot of the sizes are sold out.

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

No there weren’t any color crosses. Kate work a choker necklace with crosses and center color stones with enameled oval beads.

      1. BCM

Louis the cross necklace that KATE wore on today’s show – is that coming to us or is it part of your private collection? I hope its coming because we all love it. Please add it to your QVC collection, pretty please!!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

It is part of my private collection….and yes….it will be coming….Kate was indeed wearing it!

          1. BCM

That is wonderful news! I look forward to its arrival. Was Kate wearing the original and we will see a necklace inspired by it, similar to the palm frond collection?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

She actually wore both. One was on PM Style and one was on the 6am show? I don’t remember which was on which….They look very very close. You should know…this is not an inexpensive necklace. Each cross has a different color stone and the oval beads between each cross are ribbed and each bead is enameled in a different color. There is lots of hand work and hand polishing with this piece. It is extremely special and the Q did not buy man so it will be very exclusive….

            2. Goldie76

Dear me! Now we will all be on 24-hour watch, Louis.

  57. Kate

My loot arrived (flame stitch pieces, zip cardigan in all colors, both color leggings, funnel in all colors) and I’m already wearing the black zip front cardigan because it’s chilly in the office! I think the cardigan, the shawls, the raspberry funnel, and the black leggings are my favorites from this time around. The leggings feel like pants and not workout wear and are very flattering. I’m 5’7″+ and they have plenty of length just as you promised. Even with 4″ heels there’s some puddle around the ankle. Love!! My only request, and I know it will add to the cost is a double zip on the cardigan! Let the fall season begin. I am ready.

  58. Ethel Price

I really love the berets your wife wears on most shows. Do you offer them. It is very hard to find a quality beret.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ethel…I have been collecting berets for years. Google has a good assortment

  59. NJ Lady

    Loved your shows.
You mentioned that you were coming out with a 3/4 sleeve assymmetrical tank top like A254439.
You weren’t referring to the ballerina tops showed today – were you?
Thanks again for your hard work and caring

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No it’s anew one coming in Jan…it’s all one fabric……..a ne jersey.

      1. NJ Lady

        great – can’t wait
is it 3/4 sleeve & a scoop neck?

need to cover the ponte knit pants
        what colors?

  60. Carol

Great show today, Louis. That new wing collar blouse sneak blew my socks off. Will that be coming in any other color? Cannot wait!

      1. Carol

Love those colors. I’m in for every single one of them.

  61. Mary K

Louis, any possibility in a super ponte skirt in a 24″ length…long jacket over shorter skirt=gorgeous outfit..

    Just wishful thinking perhaps!

      1. Sheesh

Louis, my Super Ponte jacket came today and the fabric is TDF! A short skirt would be fantastic! I wear a Medium in a jacket and I didn’t know whether to get a Size 10 or a Size 12 (the Medium range). I opted for the 10 since it was a roomy fit–but not room enough for my hips—can only button the top button, the second button–almost, and the third button–fuggedahboutit!! Fits great in the shoulders and bust, though. So, I either lose 10 lbs (which I need to and will) or go for a 12, but I fear it will look sloppy in the bust. One way or another, I will make this topper work! Off to the gym…LOL!

        Sheila/Sheesh

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Shelia….I think it looks great with just the two top buttons as long as the jacket lays correctly. If the top fits don’t size up.

  62. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Susan…the pin isn’t due until much later, but always check my web site and I will always let you know when it has been delivered to QVC….the problem is I never know when they process the OLO items and post them…I’ll let you know as much as I know.

  63. Marilyn

One of the models today on QVC was wearing your gunmetal long cross necklace – if I remember correctly it was originally reversible. Since it is not on QVC.com, how can I purchase that cross?4MU2

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Marilyn…as of now the cross is sold out, but it has. Been reordered in all the different color. It will be avail later this year, but I don’t know when….sorry.

  64. lisa

how can I order the black peek-a-boo lace tights. I have to have those!!!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They will be avail Sept/Oct…not sure of the exact date. They will be avail in Black and Dk Navy. I so glad you like them they really are fabulous.

      1. Pamela

They certainly are FAB! I have lace tights, but not like those sexy little numbers. Multiples of both for me – Just my style. Thanks Louis, much to look forward to . . .

btw – just watched today’s show – You & the Girls were great.

p.s. Animal Instincts are also must haves!

  65. Susan

Saw your new pin today on QVC. Your jewelry sells out so fast I always miss out. Any way of any notice. Your clothing is great. My closet is full.
