Dear Chris….yes there will be LL pants in the three colors, but I don’t know if they will be OLO. I will try if possible to at least have the models wearing them and i will point it out if that comes to pass.

Just thought you would like to know that my raspberry color WK swing sweater was worn twice, laundered once, and the neck banding has unraveled three inches. I have a front end washer and washed it in a laundry bag. I am sad I had such little wear from a pricey sweater. I guess I will have to toss it.

Don’t toss it…return it. They will take it back. We make thousands of sweaters with necklines finished the same way with tubular finishing s which is the best way you can finish a neckline. There obviously was something amiss in the linking. Call customer service and tell them the neck band came off and you want to return it at their expense.

Dear monika…that seems to always be the question…LOL. I think you have to wait until the measurement are posted, but I would guess stay with your medium.
Dear Mr. Dell’Olio – I don’t know if anyone has advised you of this, but last year I bought one of your posh knit turtlenecks from QVC. I was so impressed with the delicious quality of the fabric – the thickness, the drape, the softness and warmth that I went back and got another tnevk and 2 cardigans! Delicious! Over this past year I have lost 110 lbs. and the first thing I did when the weather turned cooler was order a small posh turtleneck to restart my collection. It was the smell when I opened the package that first alerted me that I had been sent something very inferior. The shirt was so thin I could see my hand thru it, it was not soft, and, of course, the smell. QVC blamed you, and then backtracked and said maybe I had gotten a bad one, but the 2nd one was no better, and this time I tried a cardigan just to make sure it was the whole line that was ruined. I was so dsappointed it made me cry. I don’t know how this happened…but in case you’ve been taken for a ride I thought you needed to know.Are all your clothes like this now? Do you have any “cashmere” that really is cashmere and not some stinking polyblend fake? I would pull these “Posh” things if I were you. blech.
Dear Teresa, I am sorry to hear you weren’t happy with the Posh knit. Frankly, I am surprised you saw such a quality difference from one cardigan to another since they were all produced at the same time, and all came from the same yarn order. As for the smell, I have no idea where that came from, since you are the first complaint I have heard about a bad smell. These sweaters have now been sitting for quite some time in the warehouse, so who knows where is came from. I can also assure this yarn was not a poly blend. As it states on the label it is silk/nylon/cashmere and lycra blend. It would be illegal to state something it isn’t and all yarns and fabrics are pretested for fiber content. CS was wrong to place the blame on anyone since they are sitting at phone stations and have no idea what the product is. Again I am sorry you weren’t pleased and had to return it. I hope this experience doesn’t sour you to the brand and you will try something else.

No….the WK pants once again did not sell well….I did black and Ivory might be too see through. Anyway…as the saying goes…..three strikes. I don’t think I could ever get the buyers to buy them again. I feel badly for those of you who love them as I do, but I can’t fight the lack of sales and the returns. If there are any navy in your size. I would recommend them with the Ivory tunic….that will be very chic.

Oh Louis you sure know how to torture your Linea Ladies . These new tunics are to die for and then you bring us more of the good knits in fantastic colors. So now after ordering multiples of the swing sweater I have to order every color of this new ENR tunic sweaters. I’m loving the green and of course the fushia. Then there is the other tunics coming. Will they all be coming on the 30th of January or will some be released earlier?
Louis- Just received the pink and gray cardigans–A plus on both. The new tunic is great. My question is regarding
size. Do you feel the sizing runs similar to the swing tunic? I’m undecided if I should get a M or a L. Sorry if this is a repeat

Dear Diane…they are very different silhouettes. The shoulder and sleeve will fit the same, and the bust will be close, but the swing is much bigger at the bottom, so you really should check the hope measurement. What do you usually buy in a classic WK?

Dear Diane….if you are a pear, I happen to love poached pears, I would go with the Med. It may be a little big on the top but you don’t want it tight over the hip. That said….this sweater is not tight at the hip, so before you purchase look at the QVC click here measurements and see what the hip measurement is….make your decision from that.
Hi Louis, I was just checking your “Important Dates” so as not to miss any of your Q appearances. For Jan 19, you said you’ll be on Fashionably Late with Jayne and Pat at 7PM. Both on my TV Guide and online on the QVC Guide it says that Fashionably Early with Jayne and Pat is on that day at 7AM, and that PM Style is on that date at 7 PM. Which will you be on?
Dear Carol, the “On air appearance request” I received said Fashionably Late with Pat and Jayne at 7pm. What ever they are calling it in the guide, that’s when I’m showing up….LOL
I see that the Kate shirt is offered in the Butter Yellow…will there be specific items to go with that color or is it an accent color?
There already is the open front cardigan in butter….other than that it’s a soft accent.
Hi Louis. Would you please consider a sleeveless version of the wing collar shirt in white? Same fabric, same body, but without the sleeves–that would be perfect for summer and most of the other months in Florida and other warm weather areas. Love your clothes! Thank you.

I posted this question under the “black ponte dress,” but perhaps you didn’t see it. My question was whether or not providing a hem on dresses/skirts for your tall customers is possible? And, I’ll add this question, because there’s been a little discussion about it…Do the QVC buyers decide the length of garments, amount of fabric used, etc.? Thanks in advance, for your response.
Dear Grace….There is a separate “production fit” department who decides measurements and lengths. The buyers do not decide on lengths or amount of fabric used….that said there is a price limit so that can prohibit the use of too much fabric, but they don’t decide that. We basically know from the amount of yardage a garment takes how much it will cost. Making wide hems is a production problem….especially on anything with a tapered bottom like a slim pant or a circular bottom like the dress. It’s all very technical, and would require a lot of hand work.
Seeing how they are more likely to purchase Petite over Talls…I was wondering if they would go for a Petite dress of course in the shorter length and then have the Regular length be longer….but if there is a cost/fabric limit on each piece I suppose that is out as well…just thinking out loud…LOL.
Dear Sherry…it really has nothing to do with saving fabric. When you add a petite or tall length that is like buying two separate items, because a whole size run, [xxs-3x] has to be ordered. That is a big commitment dollar wise. Therefore, some other style has to be dropped. I do agree that when a petite is ordered the regular should be longer….it has nothing to do with fabric cost….it’s an on going battle.
Louis, thank you for the detail–it’s helpful to fully understand the background. I read on the Forum that Linea Talls were offered in the past–is there any hope for a comeback at some point, or has that ship sailed for good?
Dear Grace…every single time I do a pant I say why can’t we offer it in tall, and they never want to do it. I’m on your side in this. I won’t give. Up. maybe if I have a very successful pant they will consider it, but it’s tough to get a pant reorder unless it’s an elastic wait pull on!
Louis, the Linea pants with at least a 31/32″ inseam actually fit me perfectly, but I know there are tall Linea Ladies who’d like to see longer inseams. My challenge is dress length, especially when it’s shorter than 39 inches. Opaque tights help, but not always. That’s why I was hoping hems might be an option, or even Sherry’s suggestion to make petites & (longer) regulars. There’s no doubt you are a champion for your customers and we are very grateful for all you do to advocate for us. Please know how much it’s appreciated.

I have 8 of your necklaces and receive many compliments on them- but- the extenders on the J 291535 turned copper color. I keep your necklaces in the tissue paper in the bag and then the box – tried jewelry cleaner and jewelry cleaner cloth – did not really help – how can I bring back the silver shine Help! Dear Debby….I don’t know why this happens to the extenders. I have discussed it with my manufacturer. They did say that jewelry clears are a no no on plated jewelry and they wear the plating off. Also, hair spray, perfume, and natural body chemicals can also do it. Not everyone is the same and for some it may effect the jewelry and some not, but to tell you the truth it all sounds like blah, blah, blah to me.I don’t know if the extenders and lobsters claws are purchased separately and attached, which could mean they are plated separately, but I really have no good answer. I definitely will make a point of it again. If it really disturbs you….you can send it back to my manufacturer and they can probably replace the LC and extender, but it might happen again.This should not happen to the earring, as they are plated as one piece.

Dear Debbie….if you only saw how I store my samples…in plastic boxes from the container store, but I wouldn’t recommend it. I’m sure the ladies could give you better ideas than that…..You would have to send it back to my manufacturer for them to change the extenders. QVC would only replace it…if it’s still avail. If you want to send it to my manufacturer let me know

The top with the pockets that has been very popular in black, navy, coffee bean, etc etc will be coming in Feb. in white and gray….I think it looks great….you may have to wear something under the white….but then again….maybe not.

I have a request for your famous BOHO skirt. Perfectly Pink is being offered in several tops now but Perfectly Pink in this BOHO skirt has been sold out in many sizes for quite awhile. Hope they never put the WK pencils skirts on the no-reorder list! Loving the 27 inchers in my collection with tall boots as well as the mid-calf WK pencils. Know you already indicated the mid-calf wasn’t reordered yet and may not likely be. These and the bohos have become wardrobe staples for me.
The WK pencil skirts are my staples, too. I have four colors, and I started wearing them just since you came out with your tights, Louis! Looking forward to more colors in this skirt as time goes on.

Patti, I’m not Louis but just wanted to say that the turtleneck (A72448) was sold in perfectly pink a few years ago. I was fortunate enough to snag one at that time. Perhaps QVC will decide to reorder this popular color since it has been a while?
Dear Patti…..Yvette is correct….the WK TN did come in PP, it has sold out and I haven’t heard that it is coming back. The A87423 does work, but remember they are two different yarns….so the colors could vary. The PP Cardigan and dress work well together and the colors are very very close. I think both necklaces would work. It would depend on the occasion…what kind of belt were you thinking?

I just wanted to tell you how much I love A262037 Raglan Sleeve tunic. The fabric is luscious and soft, it repels wrinkles, and it was so warm on this 20 degree day!! The neckline is divine, and is perfect for scarves, necklaces, or just by itself. I hope that it will be a repeat sell. If so, my request is for raspberry, deep plum, or another lovely darker color. Dear Judie there unfortunately are no plans to repeat that fabric for this coming fall, but I will definitely work on it and present new things, a slim pant included, for Fall 2016.
Louis, great to hear about you working on another pant in the super ponte for Fall 2016. Please do your best to convince the buyers that it must come with a 32-inch inseam at minimum in regular sizes! Thanks!
It’s a long way off, and that doesn’t mean they are going to buy it.
I will keep my fingers crossed for 2016. In the meantime, I will stock up on additional pairs of the leggings.

I agree, Judie. I love the super ponte knit. They wash and wear beautifully. Also, I do not find them too heavy or hot…quite the contrary. I have worn them on below freezing evenings in Toronto, and they kept me toasty warm, yet when wearing them in Houston on a warm, humid day in the fall (I know, it’s awful!), they were fine. I just love them. No lumps or bumps show with this fabric. I hope that you can bring this fabric back for other designs. I know that I will have these pants and the matching jacket for a long time. They have become my favorite outfit this season.

Looks like 2015 is off to a good start. It’s always great to see your sneak peeks and I’ve ordered my WK cardis in perfectly pink and charcoal — that charcoal is to die for! So sophisticated. Some greys don’t work on my skin tone but this one is amazing. I do have a question about your Body by Linea tights and leggings. Will they be reordered? I’m glad I got some but I need more. Keeping my fingers crossed that the original colors are coming back plus new colors (olive, espresso, charcoal…) I don’t know if I’ve missed this question, but had to ask.

Forty years ago when I opened my first gallery I would travel from Boston to NY.I would announce myself and Jacques would send the freight elevator down so I could get to his showroom. I dealt with him for many years and always found wonderful treasures. I’m sorry I didn’t keep some of them for myself.

I know Jacque very well and followed him in SOHO from store to store, most recently on Spring off Delancy. I posted about him here many times, and I turned on many of the Linea Ladies to his jewelry, much of which I use in my shows. Unfortunately for all of us he has retired and closed his wonderful store. I was able to buy many things I had my eye on for a long time in his final sale days.

For me, they are very different. The yarn is different…yours is a heather and the new charcoal is solid…yours is longer more of a boyfriend and this is more classic

Yes it is off white…but it can take on a light beige look too…depending what you wear it with. I wouldn’t say it’s very fitted, but if that area is a concern than you should pay attention to the waist measurement on the click here measurement chart.

Dear Sharon…..there is a “twofer” being offered in the P PINK, A255153. It is a tank and a V-neck short sleeve sweater. For some strange reason it isn’t posted under sweaters or WK. I’ve e-mailed the buyer about this. The sizes in P.Pink are broken, but there may be your size still avail. This is all I have planned for the P.P right now. The cardigan and the twofer were actually originally supposed to be avail at the same time, but things always change!

So I may be miserable but I look good in my whisper knits and thank goodness in have every color summer and winter. Dear Louis, I’m loving the looks for the new Linea Leisure line. I ordered 3 of the new tunics and can’t wait for the new pants. There has been a lot of guessing if they will be long enough for some of us in the regular length. I know there is a petite length. Please give us the inseam length of both the regular and petites. These are Leisure pants…meant to be worn with flats or sneakers, not heels… I happen to like Chuck Taylor/ Converse sneakers.
Even with flats 30inch inseam is too short for many of us. We can always shorten pants but no way to add any length. We beg you to consider this with all pants. Thank you

Thank you Louis, if at least the regular length were 32 inches it would help so many of us long legged ladies. The 30 inch inseam is just too short even with flats for so many of us. We love you and your fashions and really grateful for all the wonderful things you bring us. I wish the buyers would read the Q forums. There was a discussion about the super ponte leggings not being reordered due to returns. Many petite ordered the regular sizes and the regular size people returned them due to being too short! We love that you listen to us, now if only the buyers would listen to their customers!
I totally agree with everything Judy said. I’m just sick that I missed out on the super ponte leggings and will miss out on Linea Leisure pants.
Love the new Leisure Line but will there be so much spandex in all the tops? Hope not as your first tunic was beautiful but for me cannot wear that much 8% spandex. Looking forward to new pieces.
Dear Jean…..this is the fabric that we have been most successful with, so for the first go around , yes everything is in this fabric. There are two jackets, a pant and skirt plus a tank for layering in this fabric…for next fall we are adding additional fabrics and not all have 8% span. When I make jacket and pants it’s important to have at least that amount so they don’t stretch out. My legging, Capri pants and many Ts and tops from the past were all made in this fabric. It has been very successful and that is why we chose it to launch the Leisure line……As I said in the future I will be adding other fabrics. Louis hope the wing collar shirt is reordered. Only got the pink, white was gone immediately. Also may I request for yor next button front shirt would you please consider a covered shirt placket and length 2 inches longer than the wing collar shirt. Thank you for your lovely clothes.
Dear Ta….the wing shirt has been reordered in the white, pale blue and a new light tan. Thanks for the shirt suggestion. I will certainly keep it in mind. I have two new longer shirts in new fabrics planned for fall, I don’t know if both will be bought, but I think they are fabulous.

Louis you look fabulous in the WK black turtleneck sweater. Fits you perfectly and very flattering. Think you should get multiples and several colors. May I also recommend the WK vneck sweater to you. I believe it would be very nice on you. From one who knows–WK is the best and duplicates are required for the true Linea lover. P.S. I just ordered a neck for my husband after seeing how handsome you looked in it today.
If your husbands arms aren’t too long it should fit fine. I have a 34 sleeve length in dress shirts and the sleeves just make it.
Hello Louis, I have to tell you that you made my day by giving me my pastel colors of pink and blue. I’m always bothering you by begging you for pastel colors and now I got some and did you notice it’s sold out so its nice to know others feel the same as I do so thanks for listening. Now whisper knits in those colors please. I went ahead and ordered all the colors because with pants coming the black and navy will match the tops. I must have been naughty this year because I fell in the house and broke my shoulder thanks to my dancing dogs and ended up hugging my cocktail table. So now I’m happy I have a pink and blue tunic coming. Thanks for listening.

Oh Louis, I’m dying to order the new Linea Leisure tunic but at 5’2″ I know that it would have to be shortened. Can you tell me how many inches the bottom of the pockets are from the bottom of the tunic, ie. how many inches will be available for shortening? I need to get an idea as to whether I can make this work as a tunic, and not as a short dress, lol. Just sign me “Short but hopeful.”

A217629 the whisper knit V-neck is my very favorite of all the whisper knits. That sweater is just so comfortable, not too fitted and not too baggy. I also like the marled knit cowl neck even though it is a little wide in the hip area for me. I wish to suggest changing the V-neck on this top to the cowl neck and maybe adding an inch to the length. Thanks.

Debra, that hunter green is a good color. I do not like olive, even Linea olive, but I do like this hunter green. I have this top as well as the tank and cardigan that is available in the hunter green.

The V-neck WK sweater.
The WK v-neck is my favorite WK piece of all time. LOVE that sweater – it is perfect! V-neck is not too high nor too low. Length is perfect. Colors are perfect (and I have many). Hope you will be able to continue to offer this exact style in new colors as seasons change.

The Pontes are the same heather charcoal grey no matter what they are called. I only use one heather gray in the Ponte.

Dear Patti….there is no plan to bring that necklace back. The thinking 8is to put the limited budget to new items. There are a few item that were reordered and I posted the list by month if you would like to know what they are.

Dear Patti, as they did not sell out, I doubt if they will be reordered, which is a real shame, because they are great accessories. They were our Christmas presents to friends and they were a BIG hit. Our female friends LOVE scarves, and especially the shawls, and the guys really liked the scarves for all the reasons we do.
We both love the scarves as well…have all colors…maybe it was the color selection that caused them not to sell out??? just thinking…I was looking forward to some new colors…oh well.
This news makes me unhappy. I love scarves and shawls, and I love Whisper Knit. Your garments were a fusion of everything wonderful. Wish the news were different.

Dear Nanc…the quilted jacket has tiny ivory diamonds where the lines of the diamonds cross. Basically it is solid, but it does have this tiny patten. There are two mocks…one in Wk and one in Cotton / acrylic. The Cotton/acrylic has been reordered.

Dear Mariko…no it is still avail in almost every size in three color, so it has not been reordered, but the animal jacquard version has been and there will be others coming that are similar.

So delighted with everything. Love, love, love all 4 colors in the coats …the raspberry is yummy – bought everything available in this color! And the Persian blue is also stunning. I use the nutmeg pieces as an accent to the greens as in your sneak peeks – awesome with the brushed buttons. Well you just tell the buyers if they don’t order those the Linea ladies will be after them. I keep on buying all the new ones that show up. I even bought a beautiful painted chest to store all my Linea whisper sweaters and pants. I really wish that you could make a thicker tighter knit pant that doesn’t bag at the knees. I had some many years and wore them out. Now what about a pink sweater, we older need color for a more youthful look.
