Welcome home! That was some marathon for you and Jac…4 shows in 2 days. I’m tired from the strange hours, and all I did was watch. The 2 hour show with you and Antonella was outstanding; it was like an old friend stopped by your studio to chat about your collection, and she actually let you talk! It was certainly miles apart from the other presentations. One show in particular was so difficult to watch that I broke out laughing. I’ll let you guess which one. You are indeed a gentleman. It’s interesting that Antonella is certified by the American Society of Clinical Pathology…interesting woman!

This morning you sneak-peaked a tunic on FEW coming in July…beautiful cut…was that in the faux washed silk?

    1. louis dell'olio

It’s a new fabric, and there is a surprise bottom coming in it to match….but since it won’t be avail until July 22nd….my lips are sealed……..shut!

  2. Sharon

Hello Louis, that was a great show and so funny watching Antonella , she like shopping with my girlfriend and so serious . I heard the word perfectly pink skirt is coming which must means there might be other new items to match in perfectly pink. What other items would be coming?

  3. Luvitorleaveit

Louis the show was fabulous and everything was beautiful like eye candy. Thanks for showing the white lace jacket with the white textured skirt that I ordered earlier…it looked fabulous together very upscale indeed I’ll have to add the white lace jacket to my collection number three I have the basic colors already black and ivory….I missed out on the moss and from what I read on the Q forum that color is not coming back sadly. I am heading home to get ready to watch QVC Plus on my 55 inch screen. I wish all your shows were two hours.

  4. Ann

Louis, you know how much I love your clothes, but I don’t think I can live without your classic cardigan. My 3 season wardrobe is this cardigan with your matching turtleneck. I buy a couple of new colors each year. Please tell me there is something similar coming this fall. By the way I just got home from a meeting. I was wearing your navy sailor sweater, white pants and fish necklace. I bought your new tunic sweater and two pair of pants. I wanted to get the cardigan but I have the two colors that were in my size. Hope you and Jacque have a wonderful summer!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ann….have no fear….there will always be a new cardigan in one shape or another on the horizon.

  5. NJlady

    Hi Louis,
It was a quick 2 hours – everything was done beautifully.
You and Jac did a super job. Can’t wait to get the eyelet top.
I was able to also lucky to get the flame hi-low top. I love my flamingo. It is sold out. Can’t believe how beautiful Maria looked in the black asymmetrical top – I own 3 of them – one of my favorites.
    Thanks for all you do

  6. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,

What a great show this afternoon! I was thrilled to hear that the Perfectly Pink Whisper Knit skirt will be coming. Thank you, thank you, thank you!

I was also amazed at how the print in the Regular Tropical Print Maxi Dress (A266303) and Petite Tropical Print Maxi Dress (A266304) coordinated so well with all the Palm Leaf Jewelry (J290363, J290364, and J290362). The palm leaf in the print looks like a perfect match for the palm leaf in the jewelry. Once again, your attention to detail absolutely knocks my socks off. There simply is no one else out there like you.

Please tell Jac she looked fabulous as always.

  7. WENDY ASHMORE

    Dear Luis,
I am a newcomer to Linea and have fallen in love. Your fit is exquisite, and the quality is superb…where have I been? I am the proud owner of 5 pcs and now shopping for more. I wore my new navy knit crop pants & matching navy patch pockets top to work today & felt like a million! I love this fabric-so comfortable. My first purchase was your Whisper Knit swing sweater which is wonderful. Thank you for your lovely designs, colors & tailoring.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Wendy, welcome to the world of Linea and to my website. I always invite women who have never been to the site to join us, so it is great to hear from you. Enjoy your new purchases and again, welcome to the site!

  8. Happy Lady

Morning Louis, What colors will the animal print cardigan come in? You peeked the topaz/blk; are we going to have white/blk and moss/blk to coordinate with the diagonal stripped maxi? Love this dress! Thanks

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear HP, the cardigan does come in black/ivory and black/moss, but the colors don’t match. That’s what happens when garments are made in different factories and different countries. They are in the same families..,..cousins so to speak, but not identical twins.

  9. Anonymous

Hello Louis, I just ordered the braided skirts and tunics and I noticed the stripe dress is avail also. I have a question, would you put the eyelet jacket in black over the topaz horizontal stripe dress? If not, would you put the eylet jacket in black over any of the other colors of the horizontal stripe dress? I need my arms covered so I was wondering I that would work. Please let me know. Thank you

    1. louis dell'olio

Honestly I think it would be too busy. With the stripes a solid option would be better.

  10. Andrew Hyde

    Dear Louis.
I have followed your collections a long time. I am happy to be able to correspond with you.
I am being polite and considerate while I say I was introduced to you by Helen Andros. This was in 1973. Yes, it is a long time. I was thinking that maybe you have pictures and stories of yourselves during those times of 1971, 1972,…
Helen opened a lingerie shoppe at 46st and hollywood blvd.(Hwd,Fl.) called Androsia. She was batting 1000. Next door was a gift shoppe called Papillion. Helen did her own windows and Papillion, also.
I am looking at the lovely dresses on the ‘Louis DEll’Olio’ site.
    Thank You.
    Andrew.

    1. louis dell'olio

Hi Andrew….WOW Helen Andros……did she work at Ginori or Giorgini….I don’t remember. Did you know Maurice Antaya?

  11. Renee

    Dear Louis
A few months ago one of the Ladies was asking about a printed cardigan I thought you told her we would get one in June? Or is it the new animal print ones that will be coming in July?

    1. louis dell'olio

it’s the animal print coming in July.

      1. Goldie76

        Louis,

Did you see page 117 of the June issue of “Vogue?” There is a zebra print coat that looks similar to the sweater you created.

        1. louis dell'olio

I did….Did you see the new “W” with Jane Fonda on the cover. She looks incredible. Jac and I are catching up with “Grace and Frankie” on net flicks….lots of fun….but inside there is a “French Sailor Sweater” in ivory and black that looks exactly like mine minus the buttons on the shoulder.

          1. Goldie76

No,I haven’t seen the new “W,” but Jane Fonda has been knocking off everybody’s socks lately. All I can say is that she is an incredibly beautiful woman. Age? Fuhgeddaboudit!

Going to pick up “W” to see Miss Jane and your “French Sailor Sweater.”

            Enjoy your movie!

          2. Goldie76

Earth to Goldie, Earth to Goldie. I had read about the new sitcom “Grace and Frankie” and forgotten the title. Fonda and Lily Tomlin have to be a hoot together. Will have to watch it. I totally drew a blank last night. The premise for the show was interesting. What I read a while back, a “pre-report” and not review, was a bit skeptical that it would be that good. I hope it seems as though it will make it.

  12. Debbie B

Hi Louis, I have your new school of fish necklace. I like it alot. However, I remember the original one with all the fishes together. I was wondering, if I was crazy enough to purchase another, and put the fishes head to tail, do you think it would be too heavy?

    1. louis dell'olio

Yes I do. I really used the fish with the heads and tails attached as a belt.

    2. louis dell'olio

Dear Debby….I think you asked a question about the chest measurements of the braided top, but I can’t find your question….so I putting it here in hopes that you see it?! Do not size down you do not want the top pulling in any way over your chest. You do not want the pattern to be distorted. This top, if anything should be on the easier larger side…..that’s MHO.

  13. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Profound apologies if I asked this on one of the threads under an item ~ I can’t remember if I did or not this morning 🙂 Are there any plans to bring the logo earrings to us in gunmetal? J320884 These simple earrings have proven remarkably great to wear with various of your other jewelry pieces – not just the logo pieces – as well as on their own – and I’m wishing for a gunmetal version.

    1. louis dell'olio

No plans to have the earring in GM

  14. Joanne

I really like the new pants A265616 ankle pull on pants. I already purchased on black. I would like to go back for Light Khaki as well as Navy. Is the Navy your usual dark navy? Also does the light khaki pants match your whisper knit pieces in Latte?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Joanne….This is a brand new fabric for me and of course I did give the fabric mill my dark navy…but as does happen with different fibers the did not achieve my navy. The Lt Khaki does not match my latte, but I think they are fine together. I do have a color coming in the fall in the reorder classic V-neck that is very close….next spring I am planning on using this color even more and in tops so it would be a good investment.

      1. Sheesh

Hi, Louis, I just wanted to let you know that the new Slim Ankle Pant in Navy is a perfect match with the Navy Pebble Crepe Tunic Top. I wore those pieces yesterday with the long Linea Palm Frond Necklace and the matching Silver Palm Earrings—looked great. Those pants are killer. I’m 5’3″, so they are a perfect full length on me. Now, dear Louis, can we have them in Charcoal, Ivory—and even pure White—I think they are year round pants and I’d like Ivory for the Winter and White for the Summer—I know, I know—I’m greedy for Linea—LOL!

Loved the show with Antonella—she is as enthusiastic about the Linea Line as we are—it was a fun show and so nice to have you on for two full hours for a change.

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Shelia….I would love to offer the pants in Charcoal and white or Ivory…but there are two problems…..1- I have no idea if these will even be reordered. Even though the immediate reaction has been incredible….you never know what the returns will be…..sometimes what I have thought was going to be a sure thing turns out disappointing due to high returns…..2-I could never offer anything that might have the potential of being see through without seeing a sample and showing it to the fit teams and buyers at the Q…..rightly so. The trouble is the fabric is knitted and dyed to order, and we would have to order 1600 yards in either the ivory or white just as a test to see if it would work. That would be a very costly experiment…….but never say never!…..I also LOVED working with Antonella. She may not be the most savvy “fashion” person, but that’s OK because I am!…It’s a pleasure and a joy to have her by my side and give out the relative info lengths, washing instructions etc etc, while I talk about the inspiration, details, fit accessories etc etc. She is one of the sweetest people I know, and literally does not have a single mean bone in her body. I adore her.

  15. Chris S.

    Hi Louis,
What is the sleeve length of the new bolero? Is it an elbow length sleeve like the ENR mock neck or is it shorter?
    Thanks!

    1. louis dell'olio

It’s approx. 11 inches from sleeve cap, but that will change with each size

  16. Terri

    Good morning Louis!
I think my question got lost in the crowd. I am putting in my plug for this to be done in your fabulous navy. I am anxiously waiting for this coming Friday so I can order my boleros I already have your purple and green from a couple of years ago. Yours are such wonderful styling and the quality of the ENR knit is the best! Thanks again!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Terri….was it a question or a request? I may have misunderstood….!!!!!My shows are on THURSDAY…..NOT FRIDAY….I will be on Friday FEW show with the Casablanca dress, but my 2am and 1pm shows are Thursday!

    2. Terri

      Louis,
Sorry for the confusion to you! I would love to request your whisper knit bolero to be available in your wonderful dark navy! Looking forward to your upcoming black and ivory ones!

      Terri

      1. louis dell'olio

First things first….this has to sell and if it does well…and gets reordered…navy would be a good choice foe a new color.

  17. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

Several years ago, I purchased A223658, a Linea sleeveless black maxi dress with princess seams(it also came in 2 other colors). My question is, are any of your new maxis similar in design? I really like the way the dress skims the body.
    Thanks,
    Dariann

  18. Anonymous

Louis, i love the cotton ikat print skirt and jacket and plan to wear the skirt today. WIll there be more cotton items coming this summer. I would absolutely love that

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear A….that fabric sold only fairly in any style I did it in….so I’m not in a rush to bring it back. I don’t know why it received such mixed reactions…it was either love or hate? Some thought because it was thin it was cheap….they missed the whole point that thin means COOL to wear.

  19. Happy Lady

Casablanca Dress..I love the design and colors in this new maxi and ask you to do a waist comparison to the ombre midi. The waist was too high on the ombre midi for me. Is this waist lower? I so wish you would do a regular length or drop length waist; I understand your reasoning for doing more empire waists but sure doesn’t do me any favors. The green is so calling to me, but the waist location is my concern and I didn’t see the location in the description. I could belt but I would prefer not to. Thanks, Louis.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Gear HL….you won’t be happy with my answer. The empire seam is not lower, so if the Ombre didn’t work for you this probably won’t either.

  20. Nancy from CT

    Hi Louis,

I just wanted to tell you that I never order anything in poly/span because I just don’t care for the feel of the fabric; however, I did order your light khaki slim pants and they are wonderful. They’re light, figure flattering (I bought the xs) and so comfortable. I went back and ordered the navy and black. It really is nice to have different styles of pants. I particularly love the waistband. I’m 5’6 1/4″ and they’re a perfect length on me. Thank you for offering so many different and beautiful options.

  21. Carol

Louis,I know you said that there is no more jewelry coming soon, but we could not help but notice that must have logo charm bracelet Angela was wearing with the watermelon wk sweater you sold this morning. Is this coming our way? Do we need to start a campaign on the Linea forum to get it? It’s awesome! Loved your show. Can’t wait for next week.

    crdlb

    1. Goldie76

Just viewed it and thought I was seeing things. Glad to know that I’m not fully delusional.

      Lovely.

    2. louis dell'olio

I totally forgot she was wearing it….no campaign necessary…it will be here end July early Aug.

      1. Carol

Is it coming in only the gold? Or are we getting silver or two tone also? I just love the logo jewelry.

        1. louis dell'olio

          Gold or Silver….no two tone.

  22. Elaine

    Good morning Louis,
    Enjoyed your show this a.m.
“Clams on the Half-Shell” was my first concert. The great Bette Midler is still performing!
Missed Jac. Looking forward to next week.
    Thank you, Elaine

  23. Happy Lady

HI, just want to say all 5 of my necklaces arrived this afternoon.
J321803 Frosted “sea glass” in both colors, aqua and pink
J321804 Bead Drop “waterfall” necklace in black, cobalt and white

Looks like fashion jewelry you offered in your AK couture line. Like in the good old days of fabulous clothes and outrageously expensive jewelry. Think there should be a 3 in front of the sea glass necklace price. Just fabulous. The brushed gold fluted beads are the devil is in the details. I’m even happy with both styles of earrings to match and will wear them; they are not too small and are nice enough to wear on their own. Thanks, Louis

  24. Terri

Louis, hope you see this when you get back from the Q! I am anxiously awaiting your WK boleros and I am hoping in the future you can get the Q buyer to agree to a reorder color of your wonderful dark navy! As much as I wish I had scuplted upper arms, well, that isn’t going to happen any time soon! LOL! Your shrugs and boleros are staples in my wardrobe! I wear a lot of your navy and a WK navy bolero would be just the ticket! Safe travels and many thanks for all you do for us.

  25. NJlady

    Hi Louis,
Looking forward to your June show. Concerning your beautiful eyelet shirt in 100% cotton.
Can you find out if it is pre-shrunk or not. Otherwise, I might shrink

    Thanks,

  26. Luvitorleaveit

Louis did I read your June 4th schedule correctly; in addition to the 2am show you have a 2 hour show starting at 1pm! This is so exciting bummer that I’ll be at work but I will be watching from my computer (LOL) and I just checked my calendar no meetings either that day for me….yeah.

    1. Carol

Butting in here since LDO is probably on his way to QVC already: “I will be on “Fashionably Early With”, [FEW], this coming Friday, May 29th at 6:00am.” Not sure about a 2am show on 6/4.

Didn’t want you to miss out!

      crdlb

      1. Luvitorleaveit

Thanks Carol/crdlb your probably right that he is on his way to QVC for the early morning show I’m up at 5:30am to get ready for work so there is no way I’ll miss his show unless there is a blackout (lol). I got the June schedule when I went to the Important Dates tab at the top of this page.

    2. louis dell'olio

Dear luvitorleaveit…that’s correct and a one hour show at 8:00pm on QVC Plus

      1. Luvitorleaveit

Fantastic! I get QVC Plus too with Direct TV!

  27. debby

Saw A234434 on special! What is the bust measurement in the small and medium QVC did not know . Love the free form necklace in grey that I just bought ,can’t wait to see new clothing! Thanks Debby

    1. louis dell'olio

Sorry debby, I don’t have that information.

  28. Debbie M.

    Dear Louis,

I am wearing my beautiful white waterfall necklace today. I received the blue and white yesterday along with both of the frosted necklaces. They are spectacular!!! Any other little gems coming soon?

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Debbie….I am so happy you love the necklaces…You are my first review! Please don’t forget to leave your reviews on the Linea forum so the ladies know what you received and also on the Linea jewelry site…..The Waterfall necklace and the Frosted Drop necklace were my finale for the Spring/Summer season. The next jewelry being offered will be coming this July. All I will say is it is very very different from what you have just received.

  29. Trish M

Hi Louis, I LOVE everything you design!!! I’ve learned to order if I’m interested, and I almost always LOVE the item, and then if it doesn’t work out, I’ll return, but it almost always works out!!! My question is this: I’m sometimes XS, sometimes S, and sometimes I’ll order both sizes just to see the fit, or I’ll order 2 colors and maybe decide to keep one size or the other or one color or the other (often I keep both). But then I might return one. Does this negatively impact you – meaning you mention “high returns” but it could just be people like me checking out different sizes and colors..is it better to just order one…I want the Q to reorder your items and expand your air time!!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Trish. Whether an item is reordered depends on the return percentage. It doesn’t matter why the return….it’s all about the numbers. If the percentage of returns on an item goes above a certain number than the item is not considered a reorder candidate. The costs of reprocessing become too much and the item is dropped. All that said I would not ask you to change your buying habits if it has worked for you. I would only ask that you look at the “click here measurements” so you can make the best choice possible. I do realize that sometimes they are not as accurate as they should be or a garment can be mislabeled, but there is nothing you or I can do about those situations. All I am interested in is that you are happy with what you are buying….at least most of the time…LOL

  30. nikki

Louis, I am loving the new braided tops and skirts. might have to splurge for all. I wanted to know if there are any off the shoulder tops coming. I know many years ago you did the peasant top that could be worn off the shoulder, any new ones on the horizon. Thank you

    1. louis dell'olio

      No peasant tops coming

      1. nikki

maybe next season a request for an off the shoulder top please

        1. nikki

just to add more, one with three quarter/full sleeves, which can be pushed up.
          thankyou

          1. Goldie76

I like this thought, nikki. Soft, off the shoulder, with sleeves that are 3/4 and can be pushed up. Ever since the beautiful funnel-neck sweater (A259109), I have been enamored of this look. How magnificent to have it for the warmer months of the year. Meryl Streep wore something similar in “The Devil Wears Prada” and looked so sensational.

  31. Brenda Harmeling

So sorry for my confusion, Louis…here is the number of the dress I am hoping for: It is waitlisted on QVC in Medium Black and I just want to be sure you are making MORE, PLEASE?…Linea Louis Dell’Olio V-Neck Short Sleeve Knit Dress Pockets Black M NEW A254472
    THX AGAIN,
    BRENDA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry to disappoint but that dress was not reordered….too many returns. I thought when I did it…it was sure to be reordered…..it’s a good thing I didn’t bet my house on it….there is no such thing as a SURE THING!

      1. Brenda Harmeling

But if I am on the CONFIRMED QVC waitlist…does that mean I will get a dress?

        1. Karen in WA

Brenda, I thought I’d add my 2 cents. When ever I have been on the waitlist 99% of the time I did receive my item. Add the fact that Louis said there were many returns, your chances are good. There is a good chance someone will return your size and you will get it. No guarentee.

          1. louis dell'olio

Dear Karan that is very true except for one thing. This dress is from last year so they should not be accepting returns on it any longer. If you haven’t received it by now I think the chance of you getting it are slim….but you never know with QVC.

  32. Brenda Harmeling

I hope I am asking my question in the right place here. I am hoping that you are going to continue to make this amazing dress:Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Sz MEDIUM Short Sleeve Knit Black Dress…a dress that is flattering to very BODY! I have 1 now and am on the waitlist for a second black one….I have never done a QVC waitlist before…and hope that I will in fact really receive this dress? Perhaps you can let me know if you are in fact making more of this dress to that I can be assured of getting it very soon?
Thank you for your fine style, beautiful clothing and service.
    Warmest Regards,
    Brenda

  33. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Honestly, I do not know how you do it….continue to roll out gorgeous design after design – many SO unique – but all workable with other items in your (and now my) ever-expanding retinue! My latest I-can’t-believe-it item are the knit pull-on slim ankle pants ~ A265615. Some of it is your very obvious brilliance in fabrics that are complete “finds”. Certainly the case with these beautiful pants! But then to know how to make that fabric “sing” – that’s the case here also. Brilliance the way you designed those two triangles over the hip just down from the waist. I had to take my pants in a titch in 2X but only between the bottom point of that triangle and to just above the knee area. It was extremely easy to slightly taper there. I wore them all day yesterday and there is not the whisper of a wrinkle anywhere on them and the gentle taper of the leg down to the slim ankle is absolute perfection! All this from an insanely comfortable pull-on???? Really???? For the umpteenth time over the years, I found myself thinking “Where on earth could I ever have gone to even START to look for something this perfect?” And for the umpteenth time ~ the answer is “nowhere but “here” with Linea in Louis’ incredible collection!” Ongoing thank yous Louis!

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Nancy….I am really sincerely happy to be able to do this for you, after all you are my runway!

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

        I LOVE that!!!

  34. Chris S.

    Hi Louis,
I want to “pick your brain” for advice about fit. I am interested in the new striped maxi. I am 5’4″ tall and sometimes a large and sometimes an XL in your clothing, but leaning more toward XL lately. When I order XL in sleeveless items, I have trouble with the armholes being huge and the neckline drooping, although I need the XL in the rest of the garment for my pear shaped body. I see that this dress is offered in petite which might be okay for my height, especially since I don’t wear heels. Do you think the petite size might help with the problem I am having with armholes and neckline? I guess I’m wondering if the upper body is shorter in a petite size. I don’t know if this makes sense. With sleeveless tanks, etc. I always wear them under another item of clothing and never remove the top garment so the armholes don’t show. I’ve passed on the other beautiful sleeveless dresses this spring for that reason. Sometimes it is just too warm to wear something over the top.

    Thanks!

  35. Happy Lady

Tonight (Memorial Day) all your jewelry is on 3 easy pays from 8 to 11:59 PM EST. QVC has 3 easy pays on everything (I think). I ordered all 5 of your new necklaces last week and since they haven’t shipped I called to see if I could amend my order and get 3 easy pays on each since I spend a lot of money at QVC (good customer since the beginning of time and all that jazz). NOPE, can’t do. Oh well, I posted on the Forum and maybe some of the ladies who wanted to splurge a little more on your beautiful fashion jewelry can now buy what they really want.

  36. Goldie76

I am not suggesting that you not do your classic boho at all; rather, my thought is that if you are able to do something similar that would work for the shorter set, design a skirt that will work for all — the “broomstick.” In other words, please do the broomstick as the “almost boho” for the shorter ladies, but it would be a look that can work for all others, too.

  37. NJlady

    Hi Louis,
Happy Memorial Day to you & Jac,
I love the eyelet shirt, you threw me with numerical sizes.
I am usually a medium – what size do you recommend?
My weight is in middle – but you said it was straight so unsure
    Thanx for all you do

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Have you ever bought something with a numerical size. I would think a med is a 10, but maybe one of the other ladies can help. Be sure to look at the click hear measurements for the shoulder and bust.

  38. SusanGray

Thank you for your response. It might be a challenge, but I work with a wonderful seamstress who could do the replacement. I would be willing to look in to a more “local” source to find a substitute.
Thank again for your help, now please enjoy your holiday…

    1. Teri

Perhaps you could just replace the pull itself. I know it is possible to buy decorative zipper pulls. It might be a task to find one without bling but that would be my first attempt. Could you get a pull off a new zipper? Even a non-expensive charm can be a zipper pull. Our HS dance team customizes their zippers all the time.

      1. Teri

Also, I have owned sweaters with a short piece of grograin ribbon as a tie.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear SusanGray…..my manufacturer has gotten back to me and the factory in China was able to procure another gold zipper pull, not the whole zipper just the pull…..That’s what you wanted correct? Now you will have to tell me where to mail it when it arrives in the States.

      1. SusanGray

That would be great-yes ths lower pull cracked and fell off, so now the zipper opens on its own with very little movement. Is there a spot I should post my home address?
Thank you again for your diligence !

        1. louis dell'olio

Dear Susan….you can post it here and I will delete as soon as I write it down, or is there a way to post something private on my face book page…..don’t use face book much so I’m not sure how that works.

          1. louis dell'olio

Got it….now I will delete your post

          2. Rochelle

She could send Jac a private message on Facebook if they are Facebook friends. Jac has been very gracious in private messaging. I am certain she would pass on the contact information if asked.

  39. SusanGray

    Dear Louis,
I was thrilled to be wearing my new pink lace sleeve cardigan for the first time (I have all 3 colors).I lightly shook it to loosen the folds, and the lower zipper pull flew off the bottom of the sweater, cracked. I contacted QVC to see if any replacement parts were available to order- of course the size M is sold out.
Would it be possible to purchase the pull or complete zipper? It could be worn open, but I love the options available with the double zipper. Please help, I drooled over this piece till the day it finally posted.
Everything I own of yours is treasured, my key pieces to assemble any outfit. TH
Hank you for your beautiful, timeless designs.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear SusanGray…..since it’s a Holiday I can’t even find out if it’s possible. I have forwarded your request and I’m sure I will get an answer soon. Since these are produced in China I don’t expect an immediate answer. If I had to guess I would say no. When they get the orders they order the zippers accordingly. Since these are not inexpensive zippers, believe it or not, I would doubt they have extras, but I will ask. Are you capable of replacing it? It won’t be so easy with the gros grain ribbon.

    2. Kate

I needed a new zipper pull for a pair of jeans and ordered from this site: http://www.zippershipper.com/sliders-for-metal-zippers

I think I paid under a dollar for the part and watched a video on youtube to learn how to replace the broken one. I’m think they have two-way zipper pulls. Might be worth a try before attempting to replace the entire zipper.

  40. andrea

I’d kill for another short boho. I have the black and purple. I understand that you can’t reorder it but could you design something that would have the same effect?

Lots of us under 5’4” can’t wear the boho and some of the taller women preferred the shorter skirt.

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Andrea….Every year I submit new sketches of a short boho style, and they never pick them. It’s not that I’m not listening to all of your requests, but they buy what they want. I will keep trying.

      1. Goldie76

What if you do a broomstick skirt instead of a multi-tiered skirt like your classic boho? Use the same fabric, but fashion it into a midi-skirt, and then everyone can buy it. The broomstick is a slimming silhouette on nearly everyone. Definitely do a black and white and then some colors, particularly your fabulous aqua.

  41. Becki Hawkins

I REALLY need that new jacket – the eyelet one – to wear to my 50th High School reunion. Please, do we know when it will be available?

    TY

    Becki

    1. louis dell'olio

Dear Becky….it is scheduled to be on my June 4th show……fingers crossed.

  42. luvitorleaveit

Louis I must say I received my maxi dresses in the goldenrod and the blue and omg first off I love the material is there any other pieces coming or already at QVC like this? Back to the dresses the goldenrod which was my fav is gorgeous I just love the transition of the colors and it would look stunning with my wide brim straw hat when I decide to wear my hat with it. Now that I see the bottom colors it looks perfect with my Cole Haan slingbacks that are a goldish/yellow color. I also ordered your crop knit leggings in the navy so of course I must get that tunic top with the pockets are these being reordered?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear luvitorleaveit, as i said I have been using theis poly blend fabric for years so there are quite a few things avail in the fabric, and more to come. Pencil ready? A222275, A232516, A263353, A259107, A252352, A255147, A255118, A213615, A259615, A257302, and A255181 are all of the items now avail in this exact fabric. Now some are on clearance so many of the colors and sizes are broken, but it should only take a few minutes to go through them.

      1. luvitorleaveit

Louis thank you so much for going out of your way to give me those item numbers that jarred my memory so it was an aha moment since I already own several of those items already and I just ordered the v neck printed tunic in blue which I am glad my size is available.

  43. TexasBarb

YAY!The beautiful frosted necklaces(J321803) have been posted. I can’t wait to get them.

    1. Carol

The waterfall necklace is also posted but the colors are mixed up. If you want white, you have to order with the black color button, and vice versa. Leave it to QVC. Louis, you might want to ask them to change it. Customer Service doesn’t seem to have the power to do that, and their suggestion is to exchange it if you get the wrong color. So now my order says WHITE, but the photo is black and the button I selected was black.

      crdlb

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thanks Carol….we always have to be police men….I check into this.

      2. Happy Lady

I called C/S and was told to order by the color I wanted instead of what the picture showed. So,I wanted black and clicked on white. In my order cart it reads correctly black and there is no picture. C/S rep said the actual order process goes by words not by colors in pictures. So if everyone checks their order selection and the correct color is listed that’s the color that will be shipped. Guess we’ll have to wait and open the box. My blue is at least safe..

    2. Happy Lady

THE BLUE COLOR LISTED FOR J321803 IS SAGE INSTEAD OF AQUA???

        1. Happy Lady

Guess I should have stated in the description list the colors are listed as sage and perfectly pink. I’m getting the aqua; who knows? Perhaps the holiday weekend started too early and whomever is in charge of logging in jewelry info is taking too many swigs of the good old brewski…

  44. Deborah (a.k.a. Diamondscribe)

Louis, I am enjoying you Linea Leisure pull on pants so much that I went to order duplicates as backups. I can see I will be relying on these as a “go to” in my wardrobe this summer. However, except for white, the pants are sold out in every size except one. Personally, I love the white and am surprised they didn’t sell out also. Are there plans to re-order these pants, A262072 / A262070 ? Will there be new colors?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Deborah…..it is too early to know whether these will be reorder candidates. I too was surprised the white hasn’t sold out considering they aren’t see through, the pockets lay flat and aren’t see through, and in the past all of my white and ivory pants sold out?…..If you want more pants….you may want to consider this……check the inseam of the petite….they may make a great cropped pant??!!

      1. Diamondscribe

I actually did plan to do that, which is why I went back to see about ordering the second and third in each color. If I like a pant, I buy three – one to wear with flats (petite), one to wear with heels (regular) and one to crop to 20″ or 21″ length for Florida summers. Sadly, I waited too long. The only duplicates I could get was one navy petite and the additional whites. BTW, I love the embroidered tops (A265607) that arrived. I ordered that item in multiples and ordered the new colors in the patch-pocket top (A255145). I already had the previous colors. These with the LL pull-on pants are great “business casual” wear.

  45. debbie macy

    Dear Louis,

I am aquiring a nice collection of Linea magenta and could use a couple of items. I need a wk shrug, cardigan or kimono cardi, and a boho for starters. My favorite item from the last show are the dresses, and I am not much of a dress wearer. Go figure. Have a great Memorial Day!

  46. Chris S.

    Hi,
I had the same problem as Jackie regarding the fit of the boho tunic…too tight in the upper arms and across the back. It was so odd that I even checked to see if I had the sleeves twisted somehow. I am usually between Large and XL. I thought the large would work. I am exchanging the large for XL, but I fear the XL will be too big, but I’m taking a chance because I really like the top. It is a beautiful top!

  47. Jackie

I am writing about A264621 the BEAUTIFUL, BEAUTIFUL Boho Aqua Top. The color is magnificent! It looks great on me and oh I wish so much that I did not have to return it. I am writing to tell you that my medium size fit perfectly in the bust – no gapping on the button at all however the sleeves from the elbow up and across the back was tight – like a sausage tight. I don’t understand how the bust can fit but the back and across the back too tight but that is the fit problem for me. I have tried it on several times admiring it. Even if I wear it open as a “cardigan” I cannot reach with my arm. Dang! If the sizing problem did not exist I would order every color. I know there have been other reviews on the Q expressing the same. I thought it may help if I detailed the problem area. I know it is not possible but I would love the manufacturer to “re-do”.
    Thanks for listening.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jacqui thank you for notifying me…..I will pass this along to my team and the QVC fit team.

  48. Neena

Louis, this has probably already been asked, but will you have any more dresses coming our way for the summer? Your dresses are absolutely fabulous!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Neena….YES….there are two more dresses coming….one in June and one in July.

  49. nikki

Louis, I wanted to know if you would put the zig zag skirt in brown with A253384- black and tobacco tunic ? Thankyou for all you do. I absolutely love the new pants that i rec’d. I ordered every color and ordered 2 of black. They are great.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki…I tried them together and I don’t think it works….and not because I didn’t like the patterns together. I actually thought they were kind of wonderful mixing two somewhat ethnic pattern, but the emb. was too taupe for the tobacco which is more sienna.Searching through the sample I saw the A237559, tobacco floral burn out top and the colors are perfect together. Granted the two patterns are a little unorthodox together, but that’s what fashion is today……so for anyone who owns the top and skirt you may want to give it a try. It certainly will give the skirt a longer life into fall,

  50. Melissa

    Louis,

I am usually not a statement necklace kind of girl, but I was drawn to the short palm leaf necklace in gunmetal. Wore it the day after I received it with the black moss crepe v-neck top, jeans and black wedges. I received several compliments on it! One was from a tough ex-marine who you wouldn’t think would notice such a thing, but he did. Said it was very cool and that he likes metal art…

I love your fashions and know when I see a piece that is me. Sometimes I step out of the box and get something I’m unsure of. Like the zigzag dress. I am so glad I took the chance on it. When I got to see it and feel it in person, and then try it on…wow! Stunning.

I just want to thank you for your beautiful creations – for the ones that are my comfy go-to pieces (the safari shirt) and for the ones that take me out of my comfort zone and get me noticed. 🙂

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Melissa….we all want to live in our comfort zone, but stepping out of the box and trying new things is what brings excitement into our lives……That’s the FUN ZONE!The ex marine, I’m sure, knows all about excitement, and knows a good thing when he sees it.

  51. Lisa

hello, two questions—on the 3/4 sleeve hi-low hem tunic recently on QVC I wasn’t sure on size as I am a 12-14 so should I order a M or L. I so have a tummy and wide hips. Will QVC be ordering more of the midi dresses as I wanted the blue in L.
    Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Lisa….I’m really not sure myself….I would say a large, but that depends if you have wide shoulders or not. your best bet is to ask this question on the Linea QVC forum, or maybe some of the ladies right here can give you better advise since they own it. The dress will not be coming back this season unless someone returns one in your size.

      1. Lisa

        Thank you for your help.

  52. Frieda

For the Kate shirt, I would like a cream, camel, and light periwinkle. (A lively, light periwinkle that does not have a gray).

Because I live in a very hot climate, I do like long and 3/4 sleeves and cotton shirts. They look so good and provide some sun protection.

I love your clothes and have many of your linens, and several of the window pane check silk shirts.

  53. Carol

I can hear you now, Louis–“Let the whining begin”, but I cannot resist asking whether we are getting a tuxedo pant suit from you this year. I’ve been eyeing all the runway “tuxedo” looks. I’m especially attracted by the white with black trim looks. Someone had a TDF sleeveless double breasted tuxedo dress that was fitted like a sheath in that color combo that I’m hoping to see off the runway someday. It would be great in summer for weddings, or in black on black for winter. In my ideal world, it would have a cute long sleeve jacket to wear with it, too.

  54. Athena

Louis, Thank you for your wonderful designs. In response to color choices.
I would love to see everything in a baby pink. The color of your new beach glass necklace.
I also love everything in true camel.

I still have all my AK jewelry and purses from the AK collections. Because of my uncommon
name I was thrilled to get them with my initials on them.

Thank You again I feel secure and confident in your cloths.

  55. Cheri

Louis, thank you for asking for our suggestions on colors. I would love the pebble crepe tunic with pockets in Butter yellow, pale pink, pale blue, teal, aqua, and a dark green. dah

  56. Goldie76

    Dear Louis,

Please think about doing several items in your “Linea Aqua” for next year’s warm weather. Not only would I like your Pebble Crepe top and Safari Shirt & Tank in your inimitable watery blue, but I’d love some new knits, not unlike what you have done in previous seasons. Maybe even a poly/span top with that beautiful shade figuring in.

Lately, I’ve been of the mind that YOUR aqua is more flattering on all complexions than the traditional coral most of us usually think of when choosing a universally flattering shade.

Please crank out that aqua to help beautify the ladies in Linea Land.

    Thank you so much!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

As you see Goldie, I seldom use coral because if it’s not just the right color or if it has too much yellow or brown it can look old and even matronly. It hard to do a coral that glows from within if you know what I mean. When it’s done right it can be beautiful, but I still haven done one that I have been 100% pleased with…..close, but no cigar.

      1. Goldie76

Wow! You amaze more and more, Louis. You know your colors like no one else, that is for sure. You have a sixth sense, or a gut feeling, or just the most refined sensibility for colors that I’ve ever encountered. If you have not yet found the “right” shade of coral, no one has.

(Now I understand why I do not think coral flatters as much as aqua. Thank you so much.)

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Goldie…..when I was a kid….I had the biggest collection of crayons, and NOBODY was permitted to touch them. I have been studying color since then.

      1. Goldie76

You are a color master — probably one of the most talented “mixers” who ever lived. (I mean that.) It all makes sense. I love that you would not let anyone go near your crayons. Deep down, you knew they were a key to your best, most creative self. 🙂

      2. Sheesh

Louis, there are great sites to check out the history of the Crayola Crayon which began in 1903 with eight colors–Black, Blue, Brown, Green, Orange, Red, Violet & Yellow. In 1940, they added 40 colors. In 1958, they came out with the revolutionary box of 64—your childhood heaven! I remember getting mine, too—I was 8 years old! Here’s a good link to the history—it’s a 40 part article that I think you will enjoy.

        http://www.crayoncollecting.com/ccolor0.htm

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I will be sure to look it up!…..I died and went to heaven when the box of 64 came out…….I would do anything for those crayons!

  57. Victoria1

    Louis

    Kate shirt…the palest of lavender
Crepe….palest of orange ( your talk about the orange cardigan has me wanting the color)
I don’t wear the other items…so will leave to women who do!

  58. Grace

    Dear Louis,

I just wanted to add my praise for the new knit pants (A265615). At first, I was doubtful I’d order them thinking the 28-inch inseam would be too short. But, then I read your post about Jac saying how great they fit her and knew I had to at least try them. I’m so glad I did!! I LOVE, LOVE the fabric and fit and they hit at the top of the ankle bone (a 29-inch inseam would be perfect). Even my daughter gave me a thumbs-up saying they looked “very Audrey Hepburn”! The fabric reminds me of a vintage Anne Klein black double-breasted pants suit you did in wool crepe that still hangs in my closet…I adore the drape of that fabric and refuse to part with it. It’s a timeless classic. I hope we’ll see more pants & skirts (knee-length & midi hopefully?) in this knit fabric next season. In the meantime, I’m ordering the navy & pale khaki and duplicates of the black. And, I’ve already ordered two pairs for my daughter! I think I’ll be able to wear these pants year round. Best pant ever.

  59. Bobbie

Hi, Louis. I would love to have the pebble crepe tunic with pockets in a color similar to your cobalt blue, hot pink, a deep, saturated turquoise color, and maybe a spring green. I love this fabric, and the tunic is my favorite for the warmer months, so I’d be happy with any new colors, really. I love the boho top, by the way, with skinny ankle pants and your your jewelry. Very fashionable! I also just received all colors of the new hombre print tops. I love the high/low hem. The tops look really cute with crop pants, and as we have all said, the fabric is actually very cool. Regarding colors for the boho skirt, I have most of the colors that you have offered over the years, but I would like to have a purple shade and a cobalt blue. I wear them year round and find lots of your tops to wear with them. I have two of them in black, because they go with me whenever I travel, in case i feel like wearing a skirt. As with all of your basic pieces, I would buy more in any color. The same goes for the Kate shirt: I would love any new colors, but a deeper pink (rose color) and jewel tone colors would be fabulous. Thank your for the opportunity for input.

  60. Lee in Minnesota

Kate shirt color suggestions — a brilliant rose, dark emerald green and (yes, boring but a basic) off-white/cream. Thanks for asking!

  61. Writer with Flair

    Dear Louis,

As per your request, I would love to see the Boho Skirt, the Crinkle Georgette Safari Shirt and Tank, and the “Kate” Cotton Classic Shirt in the following colors:

    Teal
    Raspberry
    Camel
    Salmon Pink

    Thank you for your consideration.

  62. Leslie C

I am a huge fan of your denim which is perfect for warm climates. I own the boot cut denim and capris in every color. Please consider an above the knee denim skirt or something similar.

  63. NJlady

WOW – just received the peacock tunic. It is more beautiful and vibrant than on TV
The fit it perfect and seems cool like you said.

I also lucked out – they are sending me the navy capris I had on waitlist.
    Thanks again,

    1. NJlady

I wrote a review on QVC – love this piece of art

  64. Judy

I would dearly love a true fire engine RED Kate shirt!

  65. Patricia (a.k.a. unpeudemoi)

This is a request to please bring back A224718 Linea by Louis Dell’Olio Tiered Boho Skirt with Pleat Detail. As a Petite, 5′ 2 3/4, the length was perfect for me, however, my size was never available in a color I could use. I particularly liked the pleated flounce ’cause it didn’t puff out in the same way as your longer length “Boho” skirt which I personally would never wear. Color-wise, I’m a fan of Olive and other warm tones and in recent years have become somewhat of a fanatic for bright pink and Fuchsia. Thank you for your exquisite taste and designs.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I can’t bring back an item that hasn’t been reordered, and so far they have passes on anything that looks like a short boho, but I will try again, because I believe in them too.
