April Whisper Knit Sneak Peek #6 is A233944, the V-NECK SHORT SLEEVE sweater. It is approx. 25 inches long for the XS. This is the last style in the group of six “ON LINE ONLY” [OLO], Whisper Knit sweaters and it is a beauty in it’s SIMPLICITY. We often talk about TIMELESS, AGELESS, CLASSIC, well this sweater is the  epitome of all those adjectives. Why is this sweater different from any other….if you can find one!…………it’s the fit……… the proportions……….the depth of the “V” the length of the sleeve, the slight shaping of the body….the way the sleeves are shaped and set into the body of the sweater……and of course the YARN…..all those things come into play when you put it on and say……..YES…………….Not all sweaters are equal…………… I went to Italy for 20 years……three to four times a year, creating the sweaters for the Anne Klein Couture line, so I know of what I speak. Believe me when I say……going to the sweater mills and working directly with the knitters and the people in charge of the hand work and those in charge of setting up the machines….every aspect of what it takes to make all kinds of sweaters……. gave me an incredible education. Glamorous….it was not, but the experience and the knowledge I acquired was priceless……………..So……when you put a Linea sweater on…..remember it’s just not a sweater, but a world of knowledge that went into making each garment……………..These sweaters are to be COLLECTED!!!!!………….to be worn year after year, season after season……..with the knowledge that they will always be OF THE MOMENT………………..that you will always look …………CHIC…… SOPHISTICATED……and…….CLASSY……………………………………………………….enjoy…………..much Love…………….Louis

Whisper Knit Sneak Peek #5,  A233952, is the SCOOP NECK SHORT SLEEVED sweater. It is approx. 24 1/2 inches for the XS. With each increased size the length will also get longer. FYI….all of the sweaters on my size 6 form are size XS so you can see the proportions of the sweater…..the, length down from the waist, and the depth of the neckline are all accurate. You can see that the neckline isn’t too low nor is it too high. By the way….the mold of my form was made on a living person…..so it is anatomically correct. The virtues of a SHORT SLEEVE SCOOP NECK SWEATER……it sounds like the title of a short story………..this is probably one of the most USEFUL sweaters you could own…..it is the PERFECT LAYERING PIECE, and on it’s own….works with any bottom you can put with it. The colors…….once again………….LIME, [as pictured above]…………..AQUA…….BLACK……NAVY……………….

….HOT PINK …………………….NECTARINE…………………….These are the colors you will be looking for to pick up just the right accent color in a print or in a scarf you may own. The NECTARINE is the color that I showed with the TOBACCO PHOENIX BIRD PRINT. I will be showing many of these colors with my new Ikat print, faux de Chine long skirt. Whisper Knit Sneak Peek #4, A233947, is the SLEEVELESS MOCK NECK sweater. The length is approx. 26 inches for the XS. In your collection of ESSENTIAL WHISPER KNIT pieces, a sleeveless mock neck holds a special place. This is a truly season-less piece, and looks great both dressed up and casual. I particularly like the sleeveless mock neck paired with the KIMONO, but honestly looks just a fabulous with the CLASSIC CARDIGAN. In all BLACK , the set can take you from the office to drinks after work, and with the right bottom…..say a black lace skirt or a long jersey skirt…..it would be appropriate for any “special occasion”. With a pair of black leggings or white Capri pants and the silver or gold wave necklace….it’s a spectacular look…..you can’t get any more modern than that…..and on top of it all…..it’s SUPER COMFORTABLE! With my simple WHITE or INDIGO DENIM PENCIL SKIRT, a pair of the newest POINTY flats or TEA CUP heels…..a great TOTE in a third accent color……. all eyes will be on you. Of course the NECTARINE mock neck, pictured above is the perfect color to wear with your new FISH PENDANT!……make sure the ORANGE EYE is up!! All you really need for this sweater is a pair of suntanned arms………faux tans will do too. Whisper Knit Sneak Peek #3, A223942, is the ESSENTIAL SLEEVELESS V-NECK. The sweater is approx. 24 1/2 inches long for the XS, and with each size up it gets  a little longer. These are your CORE pieces……your building blocks. Pieces you will collect and wear season after season, year after year. This V-neck sleeveless tank is the PERFECT LAYERING PIECE. You can see from the “Linea NAVY” tank above that the sweater sits well below the waist, and the V neckline isn’t TOO HIGH……….. nor is it TOO LOW. The armholes are in the perfect place and are bra friendly……as is the width of the band at the shoulder. Come fall, wear it as a vest over your KATE shirts and a blazer over it. Won’t it be great to have a shot of color under your black or navy blazers when Oct., Nov., Dec. etc. rolls around.
