“A HOLIDAY TOP”

buys1

…………………Many of you may own this SEQUIN V-NECK TOP, A238537, already. I was browsing the Linea site and my eye stopped on this top….knowing some have asked if any new Holiday tops were coming. The answer to that was no….they keep passing over my sketches. I guess they feel they have that category covered with other vendors???? That aside, I thought I should bring this top to your attention. As you can see…it’s on CLEARANCE, but it’s also very limited…..so I think you should give it “another Look”. I have been told the red works well with the new Scarlet Red. Maybe those who own both and confirm this…………………….Happy Holidays ALL

I managed to get the lapis and ruby top and skirt but was too late in getting the black top and skirt. I really hope that QVC selects some holiday wear from Louis soon.

Thank you for the heads up Mr. D — scored one in red which will be great under my black velvet suit jacket!

Although I don’t have either of these tops, I do have the sequin dresses. They are made of the same fabrics as the tops and skirts and come in black and purple. I recently snapped them up on ebay. They are lovely. I always regretted not ordering them when they were on a few years ago,so when I saw them I pounced on them. The sequins are done correctly and provide a little sparkle. You won’t go wrong with these tops. I highly recommend them.

I too have all three colors in both the skirt and the top. I’ve worn them as a “dress” but more often than not toss the top over a black slim skirt with heels and the skirt with a sweater and boots. And, yes, I agree with Sheila that ruby and scarlett are so close, they almost exactly match.

Thanks for reminding me to pull out these classic collectables.

Yes, Louis, this Ruby Sequined Top does go perfectly with the Scarlet Red pieces. As soon as I got the Scarlet Red T-neck I put it with the Ruby Sequined Skirt and it looked fabulous. The Sequined fabric actually has a bit of a tonal effect with some of the raised threads being more Scarlet in color (I’m in a conference room in Fort Worth, so I can’t look at these pieces in person again at the moment). So while it goes with the Ruby, it also goes with the Scarlet. I posted about this on the Q site when I first got the Scarlet T-neck.

I have the Sequined top and Skirt and all the Ruby and Scarlet pieces—so I can mix and match like crazy! You can tell I’m a Red Girl!

    All the best, Sheesh/Sheila

Red and green are your two favorite colors? With all the traveling you do are you sure you don’t work for Santa…LOL

This top clearly got a way from me I didn’t even think how the lapis color would look with my WK drape front cardigan in the same color that must be stunning. All the larger sizes are on waitlist sadly and I’m sure it’s very limited. All the ladies that own this will look very festive indeed.

Luv, this is how I wear my lapis. The WK drape front cardigan looks so sophisticated with the sequin top.

Louis you are such a doll! Thank you so much for being our advisor and “tip master”! Thanks to you I picked up both the ruby and lapis blue! Then to my surprise I found (on clearance) your Whisper Knit Drape Front Cardigan A237402 in lapis blue. No ruby unfortunately, but now I’m ready for our first Christmas party.

    Hugs and be well!

Barb, that’s terrific. The lapis cardigan and top look fantastic together! And you will look stunning in them!!

I picked up the red. Can’t wait to see it with my Scarlet Red cardigan.

I have this top in all 3 colors. Love this Holiday option. I can wear it under one of the swing cardigans and feel festive yet cool and comfortable. I have the skirts to match, but I find I opt more often for your black kimono cardigan, black slim pants, and your black “jet” beads with any of the three colorways. I personally think they don’t order Holiday from you because they look at that season as an opportunity to push their in-house brands. But that’s me. I’ve been in marketing over 20 years, so I always tend look for strategies behind the orders, LOL.

If any Linea Ladies don’t have this top in their wardrobes, they need to add it to their fashion resources. I even wear the red or blue to July 4 events. They’re so year-round.
