Will your new watch fit my 8′ wrist, and if not can I purchase extra links from you manufacture? Still love your gold watch but again need extra links. Thanks. 🙂

      1. Marilyn P

Thanks Louis, keeping my fingers crossed!

        1. Cathy

Perhaps we can set up an exchange of links between those of us with 8″ wrists and those with small wrists who need to remove links 🙂

  2. nikki

Hello Louis, I love all the new colors of the whisper knits, and wanted to narrow it down. Which color whisper knit and style will work best with the chili pepper side ruffle skirt. Thanks for your input.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Honestly nikki, I don’t like any of the new Whisper Knit Fiesta colors with the chili pepper skirt. The colors in the skirt are deeper and more earth tone and the fiesta colors are sunny and bright. None of the colors appear in the skirt. I actually like the new pale caramel tweed tank or the natural one better with the skirt. Of course the Tobacco tank and shrug go perfectly with the skirt.

      1. nikki

Thanks i will look into that.

    Dear Louis,

I was lucky enough to get two pairs of the drawstring pants last year and LOVE them, but while the black pair work with everything, I went a little out of my comfort zone with the taupe pair instead of my usual navy, black, gray, denim or white. I’d really like to pair them with something else besides a black or brown top for Spring. Navy, hot pink and nectarine are on my wish list for the upcoming WK orders but any other suggestions are welcome.

BTW, I get SO many compliments on your pieces from the ladies at work. “I like the look today”, “Very chic”, and “What a great jacket” are the things I hear a lot and while I tell them who you are, sometimes I think to myself, “I literally just threw this on and walked out the door”. Thank you for making it so easy to be a size L/XL and look this good all the time.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The taupe color looks very good with pale colors such as my Pink turtleneck or my blue cotton “Kate ” shirt.

      1. Pauline

The blue cotton shirt I can do 🙂 – thanks and looking forward to the show on Wednesday!

  4. Jeanie

Hi Louis! I LOVE the sneak peek of the drawstring pants and am wondering if you can talk to us about the white ones…. will they be lined? If not, are they see-through? How do you envision these being worn? Can’t wait for these in both the white and the black! Thank you for keeping your more casual dressers in mind 🙂

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Jeanie…..they aren’t drawstring pants, only the skirt has a drawstring. The pant has an elastic waist. The pant is not lined or they would be to hot to wear and that would have defeated the purpose……it’s a lot different for a short skirt. They really aren’t see through, but I wouldn’t suggest tucking a dark color into them. I see them worn with things on the outside anyway. All of the Whisper knit sweaters, any jacket…….the “Kate” cotton shirts, the new bird print shirt will all look great with these pants…… Really there isn’t anything I don’t see them worn with!……… I will shortly have a whole new group of “FEATHER JERSEY ” pieces which will all look great with these pants. This is a brand new group of clothes all done in the same jersey as the floral print maxi dress from last summer, to be sold ON LINE ONLY.

    Hi Louis:

Want to add the Pythone Print dress (A226255)in STONE to my travel wardrobe. Will the bolero in TOBACCO & the Seamed Blouce’ Blazer(A229475)in TOPAZ blend well with the STONE colorway? The weight of the knit will make this a great transitional piece!

We’re still approx. 60 days from pushin’ tulips, but our Alaskan “Spring” will come…..as always, your time is much appreciated.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela….the stone Python dress will work with both the Topaz jacket and the Tobacco shrug, which are close in color anyway. Since the Topaz color in the dress is an accent and not very dominate….I would play that color up with your accessories. I will have a group of Amber beads, bracelet and an earring that all would work perfectly [they did not name the color Amber, but brown something?]…..they are true amber. I believe they will ll be posted on Weds. and I will have a sneak peek of all before then.

      1. Pamela in Anchorage

So much to look forward 2! Hope to catch your upcoming show on April 3rd during my lunch hour since our Spring Ski to Banff has been rescheduled for the weekend of the 5th. Can’t hardly wait to see NEW Linea & your smiling face on the tele!

        Be good……

        1. Pamela in Anchorage

And OH, will this be a One Hour Show with ALL ‘new’ Linea? It’s great that you & Jac won’t be req’d to be in the studio @ the crack-of-dawn for a change! I’ll record the show, no matter…..

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

It’s all new and reorders like the tie dye sweater, the lace emb. sweater, and the
leopard print jacket, but there are 5 or 6 new things plus 4 new jewelry pieces will be listed plus a new watch!

            1. Pamela in Anchorage

Please forgive if you find my questions a bit exhausting. Any plans for presenting the upcoming Lace dress with the Lace embroidered Cardi? Very excited to receive in the Black/Bamboo colorway!!

              Have a fun, relaxing weekend.

            2. Louis Dell'Olio

No….I plan to show it over the dress when I present the dress, so women know what they can put over it…..The lace reorder jacket in the new black also looks outrageous over the lace dress in bamboo. It really looks like a page in Vogue. The unmatched laces are just off enough too look very right!

  6. Karen

Louis: In the picture of the taupe animal print blazer you are showing it with a taupe colored blouse with the triangle cut out. Is that something new coming or an older item?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It was new back when the picture was taken, but it is long gone.

  7. Tuni

    Louis,
I just wanted to say Thanks for keeping an archive of your sneak peeks online. I so often refer back to the photos to get ideas for combining Linea pieces and of many occassion it has inspired me to order an item that I might not have ordinarily purchased. And always with great results of course! I also am trying new accessory ideas as a result of your photos. Bottom line–your sneak peeks have pushed me a little outof my usual comfort zone, encouraged me to be a bit more daring in my choices, given me ideas to compliment my exisiting wardrobe with some new Linea items and to make some new combinations. And I love it all! Thanks for providing a bit of a tutuorial from a Master!

    1. Karen in WA

AMEN to that! I am new to this forum, and yesterday I did just that. I went back and looked at some pieces from a season ot two ago and found how Louis pared them and waH-laa, I have a “new” outfit. I have also ordered a few things that are left in my size. Thank You, Thank You.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Tuni…..what I am trying to express to all of you is…..dressing should be a fun thing not a chore……you have to allow yourself to be free and not worry what others may think….WHO CARES!! It’s not about money either, because most of the accessories I use, that aren’t Linea, are very reasonable if not down right inexpensive………….open up to the possibilities and you will see the compliments you get!

      1. Susan (aka CarlyTwila

        Louis,
For those of us that were not blessed with a lot of talent in the creativity department, you have been an absolute Godsend. Your sneak peeks and shows give me the spark I need to get out of my analytical head. I use the videos and this blog ALL the time to get my brain fired up on the other side! I am so happy I found your line and that I have invested in many pieces. I am delighted when I can go to my closet and actually try on a suggestion that includes pieces from seasons past. Today I’m in the olive fleck tank, sage crinkle blouse, and sage animal print jacket! VOILA – is right! I know that many ladies have recorded show libraries. Unfortunately I have not been doing this, but would pay QVC if they would publish such an animal! In the mean time, I am happy that many videos remain on the website. Thank you and love to you and Jac!

    3. Jeanie

I TOTALLY agree with this and have been wondering lately if there’s a way that the older pics could be accessible for this very reason. I frequently find myself going back to the sneak peeks (and videos when available) to remind myself how a particular item was styled when it was presented and sometimes even feel lost when I can’t access one. Louis, have you ever considered putting a link in your sidebar with just sneak peek pics?

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

Not terribly clever with the computer and wouldn’t know how to do it. Can’t you see them from the archives on the side for each month. I have all of the sneak peek collages saved so if there is a particular one you want to see again, but can’t find I would be happy to post it again.

  8. DeLois

Louis, Will the short sleeved sweater with lace applique in navy match the navy skirt and top that were sold with the TSV jacket?
That is, are these the same navy color? Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Match is a tricky word….Even though the same color standard was given to the sweater yarn supplier and the ponte knit people…..in two different areas of the country….they came out pretty close, but there will always be a variation…..you can definitely wear them together as they “blend” well.

  9. new york karan

Looking forward to your april shows. I have questions about the nectarine WKs. Will this color be too strong of a color for the stone herringbone pants and jacket, or should I choose different color (lime or aqua)? I wonder if a nectarine kimino and a v-neck would go with my taupe boho skirt, or would the set be better with the darker mocha skirt. Any suggestions on what colors go best with the nectarine?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think everything you mentioned above are all good. I love the aqua, lime and nectarine with the stone….if I like them with white, why shouldn’t they work with stone?……key word ….accessories! Again the nectarine works with the taupe as well as the mocha as well as the new white and navy bohos that are coming. Again the right accessories will play a major role…..maybe think wood and straw totes with straw or cork sole wedges…….my new tortoise jewelry will look great with the nectarine and the mocha.

  10. Kate

Will your new drawstring skirt be part of the April 3rd show?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I don’t know yet how they are dividing the clothes between the two April shows on the 3rd and the 18th.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Just found out this will be on the April 3rd show……along with a new totally un-constructed, unlined ponte jacket……it’s a hybrid…..combining a blazer nd a sweat shirt.

      1. Kate

Thanks for the update. I love that skirt and the jacket is intriguing.

        Colors?

  11. Kristen/spagal

    Hi Louis,

Knowing now that the ikat will be in May, will there be something to coordinate either with the lime or aqua WK? Those are my best colors, but will get another color if need be. Good thing I saved my Birthday money for just these knits! Thank you.

    Kristen/Spagal

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Did I say the Ikat print was in May???? That’s a mistake….it will be on one of the two shows I have in April either the 3rd or the 18th. Kristen, you don’t need anything to “coordinate” with these colors. Honestly they are beautiful co9lors and they stand on their own. Just pick a solid bottom…..almost any color and they will look great…….you don’t need a print to make the colors work for you…….just some fabulous accessories and they will look great with anything!

  12. Seka

    Hello Louis,

Am excited to let you know that I have recently received my second package from my Linea Lady – Loren – another successful shipment to Canada! Had 14 clothing items – and I was fortunate to catch all 3 Fish jewellery Items (Gorgeous!). These clothing items were from the February Show – Love them all. Have become an expert in determining what size to order. Am very thankful for Loren – it is very gracious of her to do this – so I am able to continue to enjoy my Linea! Am just about finished writing my Reviews.

Looking forward to the April Shows – and the WK Online Program.

    Regards,
    Seka

  13. Sharon

Hello Louis, so sorry to bother you but I was wondering if there is a large inventory on the upcoming sweater sets. Do we need to buy all at once or will there there be enough that we can wait. I would imagine that they will be at least 40.00 each and I want all of them as a set so I’m trying to FIQURE it out. Thankyou

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon…..I honestly do not know how many were bought per style per color. My interest only goes as far as what styles were bought and in what colors….the actual amounts are between my manufacturer. and the buyers. Since this is a first time experiment with the OLO purchasing…. I would not think the buy is huge since these will never, as far as I understand, go on air……that would defeat the purpose.

      1. Yvette

My observations and ordering experiences have led me to believe that they order about 5 of each item in XXS. It’s “order at midnight or perish” when it comes to my size. So I shudder to think that they might order fewer than usual of these sweaters!

  14. Bcm

    Dear Louis,

Have you ever considered the possibility of using Jac in your Sneak Peeks instead of the forms? I’m sure everyone would enjoy seeing how put together all your coming fashions would look, especially since they are such an improvement over the QVC pictures. Just wondering………

  15. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

Thanks for the sneak peeks of the WK sweaters. My favorite is the v-neck short sleeve version.

I noticed on the QVC web site that the animal print lined jacket (A201016) is available to order in the new gray/black colorway. When you have time would you please give us a sneak peek? Is the gray light or dark and does it match the “steel gray” of earlier seasons? Thanks! Looking forward to the April shows!

  16. Susan (aka CarlyTwila

    Hi Louis!
I have been making my chart for my Whisper Knit order and have a few questions. 1)
Is the scoopneck short-sleeved T (A233952), similar in fit/design to the cotton blend shell (A3825) that has been offered for many years?
    2) Can you share your thoughts for which situations do you reach most for a scoop-neck versus v-neck? (Example – Model is busty vs not, Certain jewelry looks better on one versus the other, certain base necklines look better under specific sweaters/jackets, etc.)
Thanks in advance for sharing your amazing talent! 🙂

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Susan…..I really can’t compare the two sweaters because the yarn is very different. The WK has more stretch than the cotton rayon. I don’t know the difference in the measurements, but I would guess the A3825 is a little more relaxed and straighter in the body. In general I would say a scoop neck is more versatile, but I am sure there are many who would disagree with me…..it is really a personal preference. I like V-necks under the classic cardigan when the cardigan is worn open, otherwise the two V-s may, or may not, clash…..Under the Kimono they both work equally as well. While accessorizing both styles, I have not had any difficulty with either neckline even though I do think a scoop is more accommodating…………… I think they give off different messages……the scoop is softer and more feminine…..the V is a little more daring and edgier…..both can be very sexy…..that’s up to the wearer. I hope I have helped and not confused.

      1. Susan (aka CarlyTwila

        Thank you! Yes, this helps!!

    Dear Louis,

I pasted what I just now posted my message below on the Community QVC site. Thank you so much for standing behind your work. I’m so happy to have my necklace back — and it is perfect!

On Friday I received my restrung Black Bead & Goldtone Necklace (J153875) from the manufacturer. Boy was I overjoyed that this beautiful piece was repaired wonderfully and ready to be worn again.

Because Louis Dell’Olio stands behind his work, I am able to enjoy this gorgeous, though now unavailable, necklace once more — at no cost to me other than shipping the broken adornment to the manufacturer. Thank you so much, Louis! It is a pleasure to deal with such a highly principled vendor.

I believe one other person wrote in saying that she, too, had a shredded string and beads spilling all over the place with this particular necklace. Others returned their jet or purple beads from the winter shows, and, I believe, had them restrung.

We are truly lucky to have Louis on our side. Again, thank you for your generous nature, Louis. We appreciate you.

    1. Goldie 76

Apparently I was a bit garbled in my thinking in my opening line, but you know what I meant, I am sure.

  18. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

The Staying Power of Linea. Louis, one of the many, many reasons I love Linea is the timeless quality of your pieces. To Church this cold March morning I wore your black turtleneck, black long pleated skirt from this past winter, black boots and topped it off with the gorgeous marine blue long ottoman knit sweater from yesteryear with the very beautiful gold textured buttons. Add the wave necklace in gold and shezam! Recently Boyne Valley weavers came out with a ruana – A231307 – in the marine blue and the emerald green of this same ottoman knit sweater. I toss that over my outfit – it matches beautifully – and I get the warmth I need while outside. I have that same sweater is black and in red. My husband said “Wow!” when I came downstairs ready to go and I explained the “age” or current nature of each piece – AND the extremely reasonable prices. [I know how to “speak” to my man ;)] He was even MORE impressed 🙂 Thank you for my wardrobe!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy ……..you are very very welcome! Your outfit sounds beautiful…..There is nothing like an all black outfit with a shot of BOLD color……I loved those ottoman sweaters and I’m happy to hear you have them in a few colors. I can’t imagine how much they would cost it I repeated them today. Since I made those everything has gotten so much more expensive.

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

I love them too! I snapped up all 4 colors at the time. I also snapped up all colors in the shorter versions with the 3/4 length sleeves and the same-color buttons with the Audrey Hepburn neck treatment – remember those? Just gorgeous! And since I’m a gal in the northeast who has to find warmth in her clothing 9 months out of the year – they are a TREASURE! I can’t even guess what they would cost now. I take VERY good care of them all 🙂

  19. Pamela in Anchorage

    Dear Louis:

You’ve teased with a ‘new’ Sleeveless Lace dress (Black/Bamboo & Black/Ivory?)coming soon. On my current list of WANTS is A221793 Embroidered Lace Cardi. Would this sweater compliment the Lace dress or would it be a bit TOO much? At any rate, it’s a planned purchase – just difficult to decide between the Black or the Ivory!

    TIA

p.s. My list is LONG, but WoW – what a fantastic Renewal of my current Spring/Summer wardrobe THANKS to YOU!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The black cardi with the lace works with the black bamboo lace dress and the ivory black works with the black/ivory lace dress so it’s just a matter of which cardi you like best or which dress?

      1. Pamela in Anchorage

I was hoping the Lace Cardi with Lace Dress would make a nice ensemble. Just placed my order for the Black – I find the contrast between the color of it’s Lace embroidery so sophisticated….Enjoy your weekend!

        1. Kate

Just wanted to let you know that I received the ivory/black and navy/ivory embroidered lace sweaters and they are ridiculously fabulous. I would normally order an XS but took the S in the ivory to wear over this dress. I ordered the navy in my usual XS for a closer fit. I thought the navy would be my favorite, but the ivory is so elegant and useful–revitalizes all my black skirts, pants and even black skinny jeans. I’m packing away winter clothes but wanted to wear the black/ivory houndstooth skirt one last time and topped it with this sweater. So pretty! This is bound to be another sell out, so if it comes back next season (you never know!) can I begin now to lobby for a grey and white combo?

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate…..Happy to hear you are pleased with the lace sweaters…….since you are requesting grey….you may as well tell me what kind of grey….a warm gray [which has yellow], a cool grey [which has blue], a light, med. or dark gray? In this yarn it can’t be a heather. If it does get reordered and I decide to do a grey, which sounds pretty to me, you may as well let me know your preference……………no promises………..to think this sweater almost wasn’t reordered because two of the three colors were slow to sell. The only color that did really well, of the original three, was the black. The returns were very low, so even though the pastels didn’t “blow” out, they decided to try it in new colors…….sometimes that happens….not usually.

            1. Kate

Well, since this is a spring sweater I’d have to go with a cool, medium gray like the color of a deep fog rolling in. Benjamin Moore’s “Stonington Gray” is a good example. Looks so good with white.

That said, it would not disappoint me if you did a darker, almost charcoal gray. I think the pink was slow to sell initially because of the image on the Q–it’s a sophisticated pink nude but appears peachy online, but now most of the its pretty much gone.

            2. Pamela in Anchorage

I rally for more of your Steel Grey. Tres Chic!

  20. Bcm

    Dear Louis,

I like the idea of the crease in the crepe ( I purchased the black)- it is a dressier look. For the stone slacks I will leave the pants “languid” per your suggestion! Thanks again.

  21. Dodie

Not sure where “Nathan” came from… That was supposed to be ” thanks”………?????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It happens to me all the time….I’m not sure which skirt you are referring to because I don’t have a “cotton” drawstring skirt. What I have coming is a ponte drawstring skirt. If you wear the drawstring at the natural waist the skirt will be approx 22 1/2 inches long. You can however, wear it lower which will give you some more length. You are right when you say this type of style should not be too long.

  22. Dodie

Hi Louis: is it possible for you to give a guesstimate on the length of the new drawstring cotton skirts? As an “older” ( much “older”) lady am hoping they aren’t above the knee although they would look young and “kicky” that way. Realize how hard it is for you to please everyone and still maintain your design concepts… So, if they don’t work for me I’m sure something else will Nathan’s, Dodie

  23. Eileen

Hi, Louis. Hope you are well, and I am looking forward to the new whisper knits. I noticed someone asked you if the jacket A229475 will be coming back this fall. I bought the violet jacket and skirt and was all set to order a violet whisper knit turtleneck when the warehouse was flooded. Will you be having that color this fall?
    I hope, I hope. Thanks.

      1. nikki

So will the violet cardigan come back also? I love the look with the wrap top. I would love that

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

There is a NEW cardigan coming for fall, but I’m not sure what colors were bought for this style.

          1. nikki

Thanks Louis, I never cared for violet until I tried your violet color. IT is georgous. I hope that the cardigan gets picked up in that color as it fits my lifestyle better than the jacket( although I do have it in the violet jacket). I would love to create the column look.

  24. janet

    Louis:
I got your new spring/summer sweater tan and coral…love it! I want to layer a coral sleeveless top under it. Will your new whisperknit necatrine shell work? I am thinking it may be too bright….your opinion please! I want to thank you for all the great clothes….my closet is swiftly turning over to all of your designs. Timeless, classy, sophiscated and sexy chic that is your line and that is me, too! thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Janet…..the nectarine is too strong for the tie dye sweater. The best I can offer, other than an ivory tank, is the A224278, natural tank with the black flecks……it isn’t perfect, but they do work together.

  25. Judy

Hi, Louis! Do you know if the blazer A229475 will be reordered for next winter? I love it, but have gone down in size :), and need to know whether or not to scoop what I see in stock now, or if I can hold out? Thank you soooo much!

Along the same lines, as far as having things altered, since many of your items, including the tailored jackets, come in letter sizes (which are really 2 number sizes different from the next size up or down), do you recommend only changing them by one letter/two number sizes at the maximum? Also, does it matter which size you are starting from, because the number of inches between the smaller sizes is less than the number of inches between the larger sizes?

I am leaning towards just gradually buying new stuff, but there are some things–especially my favorite Linea jackets–that aren’t available anymore. (The red hunting jacket! Love!) I know you will have wonderful things going forward, of course!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy……………….the blazer is going to be reordered……..all the colors are returning except Topaz……and one new. For your info you can alter a garment that is one size bigger but not more……..of course jackets are much more difficult.

  26. Jen

    Dear Louis,
Between the v-neck and scoop neck short sleeve WKs coming soon, which one has a lower neckline?
    Thankyou!
    Jen

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Jen……the V-neck is slightly lower. They were both fit to be comfortable for women to wear without being self conscious of exposing anything….hope that helps

      1. Jen

Thankyou! I’m actually looking for the lower of the two, expose me Louis! But of course what I really mean is that I want to expose my jewelry, being a married woman and all. 🙂

  27. Tylerpoo

    Hello Louis,

I’m on wait list for the crepe jacket A232344, will there be a reorder or we have to wait until next year?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Tylerpoo……….I think you know the answer to that. The reason it is very rare for an item to be reordered within the season is…..there are strict production schedules for the year. Right now they are producing garments for June and July selling. The factories can not stop what they are doing to star producing a jacket that would have to be shipped in April for May selling the latest. The fabric for the blazer would have to be reordered, dyed and shipped to the factory. It would also throw the fabric mills schedule off….so you see it would be highly unlikely that any garment is reordered and made within the same season…..that’s why it takes a year….and that’s if it gets reordered in the first place.Your only hope is a return….but don’t give up….there are many women who procrastinate and return at the last minute.

  28. Shari

    Louis
I know you are bringing those yummy colors in the whisper knit cardi,
which I already have plans to order. Lime, aqua, fushcia
I am wondering if there will be a “lime” boho skirt.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No plans for one…..I love lime, though it is not the most popular color in this country, so when you see something in lime, it’s best to get it while it’s around. I haven’t done a solid lime since the Kiwi and that’s a while ago.

      1. Pamela in Anchorage

Just know the WK’s in LIME will go great with my A214115 Safari Jacket in KIWI. I’m I wrong Louis? It’s a super fun Summer jacket!

      2. Shari

Oh—–,I must disagree about your statement that lime is not popular in this country.
It is EXTREMELY popular where I come from. In fact it is one of the main colors at our Macy’s,and Lord and Taylor.
I see it in other stores as well along with all the fabric shops.
So sorry to hear there won’t be a lime boho from your line.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

That’s good to hear. I guess I will have to get out more! Now I didn’t say I would never do a lime boho, but I usually can only do one new color a season. When the time comes I will have a pole and see what everyone wants.

  29. Kristen/Spagal

    Louis,

Loving the kimono in the colors. Will the pink cardi match the trim on the espresso/pink Greek maxi? Looks to be a perfect coverup for this dress.

    Thanks!

    Kristen/Spagal

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I checked the samples and the pink in the dress is darker but the same family so ….YES, they can be worn together.

      1. Kristen/Spagal

        Hooray! I’m making my list!

  30. Bobbie

    Dear Louis,
I just wanted you to know how much I am enjoying the new jacket (A232344) and matching pants. I was able to purchase the black as a suit, but was only able to obtain the ivory in the pants but am happy to get those. The cut of the jacket and pants are perfect for a beautiful tailored look What I am amazed by is the fabric. During lengthy travel, I have noticed the comfort of the weight in varying temperatures and the fact that it resists wrinkles. The quality and design reminds me of suits I used to buy years ago for about $1,300. There’s no telling what they cost now! Anyway, it feels and looks very expensive. Whenever you are inspired to offer another suit for your ladies, I hope that you will consider using this design again. If so, I will try to use better strategies next time to purchase more in different colors, like navy, charcoal pinstripe, or taupe. Simply stunning!

  31. Sharon

Dear Louis, I was waiting patiently to find out when the sweaters become available and tortured as to what colors I will order. I just got through reading your description and found out they are not long enough for my body. I must know if the length of sweaters and jacket are determined by you or QVC. Again I say that it is not flattering for a heavy set woman such as myself to not cover the mid and back section . It’s must very difficult to design for plus size ladies and I remember when it was impossible to find nice clothes because designers would not design for the plus size, so thank goodness that has changed. Will the kimono style be any longer than 27 inchs?

    1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Sharon: Don’t know what size you wear but on the cardigan that Louis says this is modeled after – A217628 – the XS is 27 ish long but it graduates up in length to the 3X which is 30 in length. Perhaps that could help.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon the cardigan and the kimono sweater will be longer in the plus sizes. For each size up the sweaters get a little longer like the jackets I’m not sure but I can let you know..

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sharon…….the 1x is 29 inches, the 2x is 29 7/8 inches and the 3x is 30 inches long……hope this is good for you.

      1. Sharon

Thank you so much I’m so happy I can go back and plan the colors I want. Thank you Louis for covering my you know what..

  32. Cathy

Louis, when will you be introducing the additional colors of your bohos? Love you, and love them.

  33. Judy

Louis- You mentioned an IKAT print. What colors will it be in
and will it go with the WK’s in hot pink, lime, turquoise, etc.?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Judy,
There are three different color combinations and too many colors to list, but yes they will all go with WK colors

      1. Kristen/spagal

What month do we get Ikat, Louis? I am so ready for the sneak peeks. It’s Spring tomorrow, can you tease us ;)?

          1. new york karan

By the time the ikat comes out in May, the WK’s will be gone. Hopefully you’ll give us a tease by sneaking something in with the WK sneakpeeks.

          2. Kristen/Spagal

Thanks Louis, Karan is right – we need a peek on those to see what other wk we may want to order. Better on the budget, though!

  34. John Tillinghast

    Dear Louis,
I am a big fan of your suits. They are manufactured very much similar to my old Pal Zileri suits. They are impeccably tailored. For a man with broad shoulders your suits tend to fit me very well in that area. Also lots of room in the armholes.
I am finding it very hard to find your garments and was wondering who carries more then a few pieces? I live in Philadelphia but frequent NYC monthly. Please let me know where I can purchase more of these wonderful garments

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear John,
I am no longer in the mens wear business. I had created a line of mens wear for Sy Syms, who was a close friend of mine, however when he died, the business fell apart and closed. I have no plans to re-enter the mens market, but I am very pleased to know you liked the suits we made.

  35. Dodie

WHAT NEW CARDIGAN.??? WHAT NEW CARDIGAN??? A boucle cardigan? Did I miss something?? How could I have possibly missed something? I take my pills and then read Louis every morning…how could it be I missed a new boucle cardigan???

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Put it out of your MIND!!!! it won’t be here until May….there is a lot more coming before that I have TWO BIG SHOWS in April on the 3rd at 4:00pm and on the 18th at 11:00PM….YES…. 11:00PM!!!

      1. Cathy

        Dear Louis,

LOL … You know us so well … The only way to get something out of our Linea minds is to replace it with something else NEW … eagerly awaiting the April show sneak peeks when you are ready.

        Cathy in PA

      2. Pecan Cookie

11:00 PM you say? Do tell!!! What will happen @ Midnight?

  36. Pamela in Anchorage

    Hello Louis:

I’ve learned it’s best to take a moment to read your blog on a daily basis. There’s always meaty info on things to come! Will this new boucle cardi be offered in the same Blue to match the drawstring dress? I’ll be wearing (A232339) to work come Monday with my Lightening Ridge Black Opal jewels. The silohoutte is so flattering & looks great with so many of my Black jackets/sweater options, yet a NEW cardi in Blue would be wonderful.

Like all my shoes, I no longer play favorites to my growing Linea wardrobe! LoL

      1. Pamela in Anchorage

Thanks for the reply – Eager for April.

  37. Miriam (bubbiem)

    Dear Louis,
I have a question about availability of the indigo/yellow/white denim jackets and skirts from February. I needed to exchange all my items for smaller sizes. I had to go on waitlist for all items because nothing was left. Now there is no stock on the jacket and limited choices on the skirt. Any news as to whether more stock is coming?
    Thanks
    Miriam

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Miriam,
Unfortunately there is only one shipment per style per season, and there are no additional quantities of these styles coming in. All I can suggest is to go on wait list and perhaps someone who also received the wrong size, which may be yours, will also return it.

      1. Miriam Plax (bubbiem)

Thanks, Louis. I’ve become an expert stalker, at least for Linea.

  38. Judy

Oooooo! Linea skinny jeans and/or any type of Linea skinny leg pants would be wonderful, and the tighter at the ankle, the better for me. Thank you!!

  39. Grits

Hello, Louis! I’d appreciate your thoughts on taking the terragon sunburst pleated skirt into the spring and summer in a business casual workplace.

I also have this skirt in black and will be wearing it with the black elbow-sleeve cardi with the natural lace embroidery. I plan to throw your faux silk shantung jacket over top for the cool mornings and conference rooms with an over abundance of air conditioning. I love all of these pieces!

    Thank you,
    Grits

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Grits, the weight of that skirt can easily transition into spring and summer and so can the tarragon color. First I would suggest thinking of it in terms of “SAFARI”. Any kind of tan , sage or chino jacket or top will work. I would suggest A213216 in chino, A213327, the khaki jacket with the zipper trims or the A226256 in the wheat looks great with the tarragon…….even that jacket in chili pepper works. Continuing with the safari theme…..the safari crinkle georgette shirt in sage or the A213617″, Robyn shirt in the khaki also looks great. Some other suggestions are the A227572, scarf top in olive and the A226254, pale olive scarf top. Another way to go is the herringbone jacket in stone, A226257, with the tank in natural A224278………still another way to go is mixing it with solid WK sweaters……the new lime and nectarine look wonderful with the tarragon. I will also have some new things in April, a THYME BOUCLE CARDIGAN and a new IKAT PRINT that will work. It really is easy and the right accessories will make all the difference.

      1. Grits

Oh, Louis, I love so many of these ideas. I already have several of those pieces and look forward to the new as well. I frequently reference your sneak peek pictures for inspirations; but also being able to consult one-on-one with you is an amazing treat! Have a lovely Easter season!

        1. Pamela in Anchorage

Dear Grits: I enjoy (A232343)Swiss-Dot Blouse in Blush (a soft, feminine Pink) with my Tarragon sunburst skirt. A great leather belt & a pretty pump makes the outfit. I add a lace bustier in Pink to wear under the blouse. Color combo is perfect for Spring! JMHO

          1. Susan (aka CarlyTwila)

Silly me – It did not even occur to me to wear my tarragon skirt this spring. Louis – you’re a genius! Look at how you rattled off so many great new ideas! I love this skirt, and now I love it even more! Thank you!

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Silly you!………think cork sole wedges….raffia, straw….anything natural that looks great with tarragon and olives.

          2. Grits

Pamela, thank you so much for sharing such a pretty option! I love that blouse and frankly hadn’t thought of pairing these two. And you’re right…how perfect for Spring!

            1. Pamela in Anchorage

              You’re welcome!

Inspiration came from my Nevada Lapis necklace & earring set(opaque gemstone of grassy greens, pinks & ivory). Somedays I let my jewelry dictate my closet selection. Totally agree with Louis – It’s ALL in the accessories………………..!

            2. Louis Dell'Olio

Elizabeth Taylor always had evening gowns made to go with her jewels…….

  40. Susan (aka carlytwila)

Hi Louis! I have been catching up on all the discussion on new denim pieces. Here are my thoughts: Shorts – Yes! Slim would be best and
an 11″ inseam would be great. Be generous in the ‘give’ in the waist so they are comfy in high heat. A shorter rise is my preference as well.
Skinny jeans! – would love these in measurements exactly like A217972 with 32″ inseam. Actually I would buy that pant in every color and every
fabric if you offered it. I do not need any more denim skirts unless you would be offering this year’s pencil version in new colors.

    1. Jane

      Hi Louis,

Here’s my two cents in the discussion: please don’t make a shorter rise! I have always had difficulty getting the proper rise in my pants. Your pants have always had the perfect rise, front, and, particularly in the back. Please don’t mess with the formula!

      Thanks,
      Jane

  41. Pamela in Anchorage

    Dear Louis:

On the subject of walking shorts – I love my trail & cargo pants that convert to 10″ shorts by means of a zipper. Own several brands in various fabrics designed for active outdoor wear – favorites are with pockets above & below the knee, so when you unzip/convert to shorts – there are still side leg pockets (on the shorts). I’ve never seen this design done in Denim! Maybe not your design aesthetic – Just a thought…….btw, my understanding is that any pant with a bottom opening of more than 12″ is considered a Bootcut?! Linea skinny jeans would be GREAT!

Hope your designing next year’s Spring Collection in the Sunshine!

  42. Joan

Louis – Please tell me when the new white Boho skirt will be in. Thanks.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

The navy and the white are due in May, but since it’s a reorder and not a new item, they have been shipping out the wait list customers as soon as they are processed into the warehouse…..so it could be sooner

  43. Cathy in PA

Even I would buy Skinny Jeans. Petite if possible. Being only 5’1″ short, I have to hem everything, even the petites, with the exception of actual ankle pants or crops, and often the pant leg is then just too wide and has to be narrowed. 12 – 13″ works for me, as legs are the slimmest part of me LOL. And THANK YOU for making garments relatively easy to tailor. Sometimes it’s an absolute necessity, sometimes it just makes the garment look so much better and well worth the time/money/energy to get a custom fit.

  44. Maia

I request a 34″ inseam for jeans and for your pants. You have tall women like me who are your fans and would love to have our pants match your lovely tops and jackets. Please, please do everything you can to offer talls in pants on QVC. Thank you for my well-stocked and beautiful closet!

  45. Kathy

    Louis
Here is another vote for skinny jeans with a 12 inch opening. I would also love to have walk shorts! Your denim is just the perfect weight. I have the jean jacket in yellow and the skirts in denim and white
Is there any chance the fish pendant will be back?
    Thanks for all hard work.
    Kathy

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

They never, to my knowledge, reorder in the same season………so it will probably be a year IF it gets reordered…….you never know. What kin of leg do you all like for walking shorts…..slim, straight or a slight flare?

      1. designista

        Slim please.

        1. Kate

I’d prefer slim, but betting straight would be a better fit for the majority of women?

      2. Kathy

        Slim and straight.
        Thanks

      3. Kathy

The inseam on my walking shorts are all 11 or 11 1/2 inch size 12. I like the skirt length above the knee too
        Thanks
        Kathy

      4. Carol in FL

        Hi Louis,

Denim walking shorts–SLIM for me that come to the top of the knee. (I’m 5’8″ tall.) Another option would be capri pants that have the option of being rolled up to become walking shorts. Would love either one. Thanks for asking!

        Carol

      5. enjay

I would prefer slim, but would be content with straight and maybe slim-ish 🙂

      6. Qulia

My vote is for slim/straight leg with an inseam of no shorter than 8″ and no longer than 10″ so they hit a couple of inches above my knee but not too short. Your light weight denim would be great as well as a cotton khaki weight with stretch. I don’t want too high of a rise but not too low of one either. I prefer a slight dip in the front so a shorter rise in the front. Thank you for asking and I look forward to the results!

        Julia

  46. designista

Chiming in here on the skinny jeans…12″ leg opening or less works for me in a Petite size.

  47. Carol

    Dear, dear Louis!
I had to let you know how much in love I am with all the denim pieces I’ve collected! Your denim is so comfortable, so forgiving and so grown up. I have every piece you’ve made, with doubles of all the bootcut jeans. Can we hope for more denim next year? Or maybe for fall? In case you need ideas (LOL), I’d like a boot length slim skirt, a knee length a-line skirt and skinny jeans. More colors, too!

I’m also loving the phoenix print. I’d go for a new print in that fabric next spring big time!

    Love you!
    crdlb

    1. Kate

      Skinny jeans!!!!

        1. Kate

12″ is how skinny I like my skinny. Guessing that’s a bit tight for the Q customer? I noticed Lisa Rinna is offering a pair of white skinny jeans next month. Will be interesting to see the measurements on hers.

These jeans from the Gap are the ones that always garner compliments. http://www.gap.com/browse/product.do?vid=1&pid=673938002

          1. enjay

I would be in for skinny jeans, too! And I agree – 12″ is perfect. (I would also LOVE a shorter, slimmer denim skirt. Pretty please?)

            1. Kate

And maybe some denim walking shorts?

            2. enjay

              Yes! Great idea!

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Enjay….I would like a shorter slimmer skirt too…like around 21 1/2 inches, I can suggest doing a skirt two lengths 24 inches and the 21 1/2, but I doubt will they will go for it. As for slimmer……we have to stay with their measurements which I also think are generous…..certainly bigger 5than what I did at AK. If we don’t it will be rejected, so that is something we must do…..that’s why I try to keep the pencils skirts as simple as possible….just in case someone has to slim them down which is an easy alteration….I know who wants to alter, but those are the facts.

            4. Louis Dell'Olio

What do you consider a good inseam length.. I know where I like a short to hit on the leg, but I’m curious where all of you like your shorts. When I hear discussions on QVC about shorts it’s like…..OMG, heaven forbid anyone should show a knee….it’s like showing cleavage.!!!!..

    2. Debbie

      skinny jeans.. Yes!

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

How skinny is skinny? I asked Kate the same question….lets see if you are both on the same page!

        1. Debbie

I liked the picture and that is what I am thinking as well. With your normal regular and petite sizes.. They work well year around!

        2. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

As a plus size lady I would like to chime in with a 14 inch leg opening at the hem and with a 30 to 31 inch inseam length. I’m 5′ 7″.

        3. Yvette

Chiming in here….. I just measured, and some of my skinny jeans are 12″, some are 13″ – probably more are 13″. I like them to skim my leg, but not so tight that they look like leggings. As someone said, not sure how this fit would suit the QVC majority.

    3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….I plan on using both fabrics next spring…Glad you like them!

      1. Carol

Great news! I like skinny, but maybe 13-14″ leg openings. I have a pair of 12″ that I also like, so I would go for those if that’s the consensus. I’d be interested in hearing Jac’s ideas on the leg opening.

So glad to hear we’re getting more of your denim and cotton shirting.

        crdlb

  48. Cheryl

    Dear Louis,

I bought the silver bib wave necklace as soon as it became available, and it has been my go-to piece of jewelry ever since I took it out of the envelope and put it right on to go out to dinner. What really amazes me is that I have never worn it without receiving compliments from complete strangers, even from men. I wore it yesterday when I was serving as a docent at a local art museum, and the compliments came all day. Several people had to know where I had gotten it. Thank you so much for this beautiful piece.

    Cheryl

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cheryl…..I’m so happy you are enjoying your necklace…..did you get the earring too?

      1. Cheryl

        Dear Louis,

Alas, I am too short for the earrings. I generally wear a small silver or white gold hoop with the necklace, which probably serves to put even more emphasis on the necklace itself. There are so many of your longer earrings I can’t wear, but I love the J-hoops and wear the black ones often. I always look forward to your newest designs in both clothing and jewelry and have my eye on many new things to come.

        Cheryl

        1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

My neck is too short for almost all of your earrings – except the demi hoops of which I have all 3 color-ways – but I too wish to chime in with my DELIGHT over the wave necklaces. I received my goldtone this week and am thrilled with everything about both the silver and the goldtone! They so perfectly fill the neckline of all your TSV jackets – of which I also have a “collection” 🙂 When I first saw the necklace I thought it would be too short for the plus sized curvaceous lady. Oh so not so!!! (Well honestly I do wear it on the absolutely last little link of the extender)…Just perfect. I can even wear it over a turtleneck! As to the earrings, the largest I “go” in for is a 1 1/4 inch hoop.

  49. Judi

    Hello Louis-
I can finally stop holding my breath! Pisces, the fish pendant, finally arrived! He must have been swimming from the China Seas! It’s all you said it would be, the artistry and workmanship is magnificant. This is a real collector’s piece…thank you!!
Your recent collection and the reorders are fantastic. I love the phoenix print and fabric, it’s not too “busy” at all, and very high end. I tried the tweed caramel tank on with it and like the look. Will the upcoming orange wk pieces go with it?
I tried the peach/tan tie die sweater on with the original tweed tank and taupe drawstring pants, I like the look. When it warms up I’ll be wearing it with crops and the taupe boho.
Kudos on the mitered skirt and top, so comfortable and classy. It looks great with the yellow denim jkt. and some navy accents. I also love the turq/yellow hydrangea top with the yellow denim.
I so appreciate the masterful way your collections work with each other.
    Regards
    Judi

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judi….that’s great news that you were able to reel in a fish pendant.!. I am assuming you are asking about the nectarine WK with the tobacco print??? They look great together…..that’s the way I showed the Tobacco shirt in the show.

      1. Judi

        Yes, I meant the nectarine.
If you’re taking suggestions on skinny jeans, 12″ opening at the hem would be perfect!
I love the Georgette blouse, this is gonna be a guessing game!

  50. Debbie

Hi Louis, Is there a reorder coming of A228338, the blouse with removable tie? The reason I am asking is that I have been on waitlist for months, and just received an email from QVC that they expect more in September. I have the black and really like it, I hope you bring it back in more colors like white and red (for holidays).

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debbie. I am happy to report that the shirt has been reordered for either Sept or Oct…..not sure which month. The black and ivory is returning with one new color, but it isn’t red. The color will coordinate with the group being delivered for the same delivery.

      1. Carol

Louis, you are such a tease! That blouse is so gorgeous, I can’t wait to see the new color. I want navy, of course, since I’m a total navy girl, but espresso would be fabulous, too.

        crdlb

          1. Pamela in Anchorage

That blouse in Camel would be MY dream come true. Switching the ties with the Black & Ivory would create alot of new looks within my Linea wardrobe! I own it in Tarragon too.

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

You all better stop guessing because it’s way too early to tell you and ….so far you are all wrong. Now I’m going to feel like I disappointed you with the color I chose.

            2. Pamela in Anchorage

              disappointment – Never!

            3. Judi

              Louis-
You never disappoint! It would be interesting to know the color palette you are planning for Fall, but we need to concentrate on enjoying the Spring and Summer in your fashions 🙂

            4. Cathy in PA

Ruby or Aubergine shade, or possibly the much touted emerald, better known as Malachite? Sorry, I couldn’t resist, and NO, I don’t expect an answer 🙂

  51. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

I couldn’t agree more with Designsita about your phoenix print ensemble. The design and fabric are exceptional- I purchased the tobacco but will be returning for the yellow. Please bring us more fashions in this new fabric.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

So Happy you like the FABRIC and the print. Prints are so personal, I never know what the reaction will be.

  52. designsita

OKAY LOUIS, keep that fabric you used for the Phoenix ensemble coming! The fabric is wonderful, has a great hand and doesn’t wrinkle easily. It is perfect for the South and tropics. The fabric in the Kate shirt is too heavy except for a couple of months in winter. I’d love to see some variegated stripes. I have posted my reviews on the fabric, but it will be a couple of days before they show up. You’ve got another winner! Thank you!!!!

    1. designsita

The Phoenix print is phenomenal, bought it in all colors, especially love the pants.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I am very happy you like both the print and especially the fabric. It’s not easy to find a light weight cotton that isn’t some what see through. Of course in white it may be another story.

  53. Shari

    Louis,
I have been looking high and low for the longer tunic top that was worn by Rachel (host) in the morning show
when you had your last shows. It was like a blue/periwinkle and she had it on with the fish necklace and earrings.
I believe it was a double layer with the top layer being of a sheerer fabric.
Any clues to the number on that top? It also came in red? and maybe black?
I tried to go back into the shows but it won’t go back that far anymore.
    Any help would be fantastic

    Shari

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hi Shari….it’s on the Linea site….the number is A224711. It is mostly avail in red.

      1. Shari

Great! Thats the color I wanted. Already ordered!
        Thanks for the info

  54. nikki

    Hello Louis,
I just rec’d the tobacco pants. They are wonderful and i will love wearing them. This is coming from someone who never thought they would wear printed bottoms. I wanted to know if the tobacco shirt will coordinate with the upcoming nectarine skirt? I love the tobacco color and looking forward to all my new combinations.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear nikki………..here’s the story………..there is no nectarine in the print….it is actually more of a red orange. All that said…..I personally like the nectarine skirt with the tobacco blouse…..I am sure some will say I’m crazy….so be it….I like them together.

The yellow Phoenix print blouse is GORGEOUS!! I was afraid after all I’m a large, what would I look like? I loved the red accents you used here, so I found some red belts, got a big red watch and it’s fantastic. I just posted in the Forum and my formal review. For a woman who never did prints, I’m getting some great pieces to blend into my wardrobe, this one really adds punch and says Spring is finally coming to Chicago at last, LOL. Thank you, feel like a million bucks.

  56. Ginny in New York

Louis, I ordered and received the gorgeous fish pendant AND the earrings – and I considered myself lucky to have gotten them. I had searched for – and then waited for – that pendant for about a year, after initially seeing it on beautiful Jac when she modeled your great pebble crepe tunic w/pockets (that I bought in every color you make BTW!) I especially love the pendant which could not have further exceeded my expectations in every possible way…just amazing. That is, until the fish tail broke off upon my second wearing! Louis, I was so careful with it, even carefully hanging the pendant at night rather than putting in a jewelry box. And I never “fiddle” with my jewelry…but, still, the tail appears to have snapped right off. Now there are no more on the Q. Is there some way you can arrange for a replacement? I am beyond heartbroken after having waited SO long for it!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Ginny…..so sorry to hear about the tail??? I can’t understand it just breaking off like that. The original AK fish had a more delicate chain connecting the parts and we made sure to use a thicker and stronger for the new version. All I can do is forward your post to my manufacturer. I will see what they have to say, but they do not have inventory. The product goes straight from China to QVC…………..maybe they will have a suggestion…..they are extremely accommodating………if they can do anything they will

  57. Mary Beth

Louis, would simply love to get your white jean jacket that you show on one of your March sneak peaks… will it be coming back to QVC? I’ve not been able to locate it. Thanks so much for the designer styles and quality you bring us!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Mary Beth…..the picture is on the Linea site, but it is extremely limited…..If it gets reordered it will be back next year………We are into fall production and the factories are now set up for fall, so it would be impossible to stop everything to remake the jean jacket.

    Dear Louis,

Today the wave bib necklace in the goldtone arrived. I had no inkling that I could love it measurably more than the one I already have in the silvertone. The silvertone overpowers with its gleam and design. Yes, I’m a softie for gold, so the goldtone really pleased me. I imagine this is the gold finish used for the fish jewelry, and I understand why some have been so excited by your piscean suite.

Anyway, Louis, I am so happy that I bought both tones in the wave bib necklace and matching earrings. As I wrote earlier to you, that have a modern classic vibe. They can be worn any season and with a variety of looks.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Goldie, you have a way with words! I am a gold person too……………being a LEO. I do however love the MODERN gleaming look of the silver. I’m glad you are happy with them.

      1. Maria (Goldie 76)

Thank you for the compliment. Louis, I am a LEO, too. We are such suckers for gold and other shiny things, aren’t we? Bring on the riches because it’s in our blood!

KUDOS Louis! Got my first pair of (yellow) print pants today and I am over the moon! Thank you, thank you, thank you for this lightweight cotton fabric which is perfect for the deep south heat we endure 8 months out of the year. These are my HAPPY pants…almost like the party started without you before you put them on! Absolutely love them paired with the navy elbow WK top. I have the blue ones on the way and only had to stop here to thank you before I go order the tobacco! To say you are a genius is so trite and over done but sheesh Louis….you ARE a genius! I want more, more, more things in this wonderful fabric please! No chopped liver on little crackers to offer you down here but if you ever make it to Texas I’ll be saving a thick slice of head cheese with a hunk of french bread and a cold brewsky for you. How could you possibly resist? 🙂

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

So glad you liked the fabric. I wanted feed back because I do want to use it again, but I wanted to hear how my ladies who especially live in the south like it. Thanks for letting me know.

        1. Kristen/spagal

Me too–would love to see a skirt in this print as well if it comes back.

      1. Carol B

Me, too from “south” California, San Diego!

  62. Donna

Louis, The wave necklace in gold is finally shipping! Yay! I know my girlfriend would love the silver but it is, of course, sold out. Are there more coming?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Donna,……….. there aren’t any more at this time and I have no idea if they will be reordered. I am sure the gold and what remains of the earrings will be sold out soon.

  63. TASmom

I recently received the red Floral Print 3/4 Sleeve V-neck Dress (A232516) and blue Placement Print Dress w/Drawtring (A232339) — love, love, love them both, so much so that I am reordering the floral dress in another color (green). Have worn both to the office and church and received many compliments (also wore the Placement Print Dress into an EF boutique here in Chicago and had the sales reps there asking where I purchased it). Your designs flatter a woman’s (vs. a waif’s) figure, and I appreciate having a dress that hits at the knee, especially to wear in a professional environment. I did want to ask for advice about what to wear from your line with the Lace Jacket with Trim (A223652, I have it in the mint green) — I have worn it with khaki trousers from another clothing line, and they don’t quite work.

Thanks very much, and look forward to new Spring designs!

  64. Dariann

    Dear Louis,
I almost fainted when I opened the box that contained my fish earrings! They are exquisite! Many years ago, my parents went to Greece and my mother purchased some beautiful 18k gold Lalaounis jewelry – your earrings could easily be mistaken for these fabulous Greek pieces. I just ordered another pair of gold fish because I know these will become collectors items. My only regret is that I don’t have the fish necklace – I ask you to please try to convince the powers that be at QVC to reorder the necklace in gold and offer the silver option as well (how about an aquamarine or pearl eye?

I plan on wearing my fish earrings this summer with white linen, real gold rings and bracelets and an orange scarf – a stunning combination!

Thank you,Louis, for your fish masterpieces,
    Dariann

    1. Goldie 76

      Dariann,

Your comment about the fish earrings being reminiscent of Lalaounis jewelry made me forget about the sequestration that has affected me and nab those earrings. I have two animal head bracelets (one 18k gold, the other 14k) that mimic the Lalaounis look. My late husband bought them for me in Greece several decades ago. They are, hands down, my favorite pieces of jewelry — both for their sentimental value and their beauty. In fact, one of the bracelets is my signature piece.

Thank you for letting us know that the fish earrings are stunning and are suggestive of some of the finest Greek gold jewelry. I might have lost out if not for your comments.

  65. Karen in WA

Louis, Oh I got my fish today! He is so beautiful and wonderful to touch. I am waiting for my sleevless strip dress, 232510, in blue and black, and the gauze jacket,230028, in black. I am still wondering if the gauze jacket in cobalt blue would go with the blue in the dress? Thank you again and again
    Karen in WA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Karen, Sorry for the delay getting back about the blue gauze jacket. I checked my samples and the blue of the gauze and the dress are not the same. However, the black gauze looks great over the dress. So glad you like your fish. Don’t forget to post a review!
