LDO–just an FYI that WK seems to be getting limited already, at least in XS which is my size. Many of the colors of the peasant and drape neck are down to 6, 7, or 8 left.

      1. Kate

Just keep adding quantities of 5 to the cart until an insufficient quantity alert comes up. Great little project to do during a boring meeting.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Too many boring meeting….been there,…..designers HATE company meetings…..I’ve been through one too many at AK.The only color and style in the peasant sweater to show sold out is Ruby 3x.

  2. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Louis, I’m sorry to ask something you may have already answered – not necessarily here but in a recent show – but I just can’t recall. Did you say that there would be more of the sweaters that matched the TSV jackets coming up? If so, do you know what month?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Next year …..I think Feb…but I’m not sure about deliveries.

  3. njlady

Will the leather jacket have a notched collar or a rounded one?
Will it be bomber short or a double zipper.
    Thanx again

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

It has a shirt collar, is approx 24 inches long for the xs, has horizontal band pockets. The front is all leather with side back panels in knit. It also has a classic two piece sleeve, and the under panel is knit. The zipper is not a way zip.

      1. njlady

thanks – can’t wait to see it

  4. Sherry

Hi Louis, if it’s not too late, I have a request for next fall/winter. Would you consider a V-neck button or zip front cardigan with pockets and include the color black, please. I’m missing a black cardigan in my wardrobe right now, to me it’s almost as important as a black blazer.

  5. Sherry

This is probably a “duh” question; will you be having a basic or otherwise black blazer coming soon. With my size change, that’s one item that I cannot do without. Thanks for answering the flood of questions that have been coming your way. I’ve been taking notes…too much to remember, don’t know how you do it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Do not have a basic black blazer coming, but I do has a terrific looking jacket on my next show and a little black leather jacket in Oct.

      1. Sherry

As long as it looks good over a white Kate shirt and jeans, I’m in. Is the leather jacket in Oct, front zip?

          1. Sherry

Thought that’s what I remembered, I may have to wait for that one.

  6. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Louis, you mentioned the industry standard you use on the depth of the v on your V-necks. Does this mean that the V in the new whisper knit tunic will fall on me in the same place as the v in this summer’s placed print V-neck tunic or, say, the same place that the v in the OLO whisper knit sleeveless V-necks from the spring falls on me?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

You misunderstood me. There is no industry standard for the depth of Vs…..that is a design detail and will change with each design. Someone asked about the form I use and I said the industry standard was approx. 10 1/2 from HPS to apex of bust point…..probably to much unnecessary information…..

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Thanks Louis 🙂 I completely understand your clarification and what you had to say about the form etc was NOT TMI. You did answer my question 😉

  7. Susan Gosman

I have, and love, the boho skirt in olive. Would the scoop neck peasant sweater work well with it for the cooler months? I wear a lot of jewel tones and wonder what you think of pairing the skirt with the fuchsia or ruby peasant.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Susan….absolutely…..Brenda was wearing the chili pepper boho with the black peasant sweater. With a pair of boots and the right accessories you can make any color work with the olive boho……do you have the boho in Black? With black boots you can also wear any of the jewel tone sweaters.

  8. Carmille

Hi Louis! I sit here marvelling at your upcoming designs. You indicated that item A228338, the blouse with the tie is re-ordered. When will it be available? I just must have the white one, I missed it in my size last time. I was able to get the black but want the white one so bad!!! Also, I am so miffed at QVC for not ordering enough of the white pearl long strand necklace. I saw it with the ivory tank and cardigan you just posted and want it soooo bad and it is sold out! How can that be, you have not even shown it on air with anything and it is gone? This is so frustrating… When will QVC learn? Do you think they will be re-ordered? Again, am so looking forward to your upcoming shows! Just beautiful clothing at an amazing steal of a deal!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carmille the shirt will be coming in Sept….but I honestly don’t remember if the white was reordered??????? I know….the pearls went in a flash…..I’ll inquire about bring more in….you never know?

      1. Carmille

Thanks for your response Louis! I will keep my fingers crossed!

  9. Kate

I’m reading September Vogue this morning (700 + pages) and you really translated the trends of season for us this year. In addition to pink and red coats, tweeds and plaids (mixed with lace) are everywhere. You could have designed the Dolce and Gabbana collection in particular with their abundance of red lace, sequins, and crosses. I saw one editorial image that featured a white blouse (exactly like the Kate) tucked into a simple sequin skirt worn with combat boots. Thanks to you, this is a look I can rock for under a hundred bucks (I will supply the boots, of course). We are just so lucky!!

      1. Kate

Gotta keep up with the college kids!

Just pointing out that while your clothes are a collection made to work together, they can also be deconstructed to fit all kinds of styles!

Perhaps I will post a picture of myself in the get-up I described!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….I absolutely expect you to mix your Lineas with your Chanels, Dolce and Gabannas, Comme de Garcons and Armanis……..LOL

        2. Sherry

I like that…white shirt, sequin skirt, and combat looking boots. I like the edginess of the lace-up boots, tailored shirt and a dressy skirt. Not a look for everyone…gotta have some attitude! LOL

          1. Sherry

Oh!!! and add that new black leather zip front jacket that’s coming in Oct. Perfect!

            1. Kate

Now you’re talking! While I don’t want to look like a “fashion victim” or a wanna be Millennial, and love how LDO gives us a perfect head-to-toe classic, timeless looks that are always right, this is a look I’d try.

    1. Pecan Cookie

Right? I just picked up that copy this evening and could not stop thinking of Linea as I flipped through the pages… for sure how every lucky we are.

      1. Kate

He hit every major trend and then some.

  10. Judy

Louis, thanks for the quick answers to our questions. I am confused, in your description of A237410 the scoop neck peasant sweater you said this one was longer with an appr. 27 inch length on the x-small. On the Q’s measurements they say the same sweater has a length for the x-small of 24 3/4. Sorry to be such a bother. I just need the length.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Always go by the QVC measurements. I measured with the garment on my form, so it may “hang” longer. They measure with the garment laying flat on a table which is the proper way

  11. Judy

Hi Louis, no one seems to know. What are the colors of the reordered A228341 jewel neck tunic? All colors of the other whisper knits have been posted except that one. Love the tunics!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy….the colors which have been ordered for the A228341 are black, walnut and the new Topaz and Bordeaux, which matches the leather reorder jacket in the new Bordeaux

      1. Carol in FL

        Hi Louis,

You said that the walnut of the new whisper knits is a darker shade of walnut than was used last year. In the reorder of A228341, the jewel neck tunic, is this walnut the same as last year’s walnut or is it the darker walnut of the new WKs?

        Thank you,

        Carol

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….I do not get samples of repeat colors, so I do not have the tunic in the reorder shipment. I would assume it is the darker walnut since the colors are dyed at one time for all the styles.

  12. Goldie76

No rest for the weary, Louis. You are the “Man of the Hour.” If you haven’t yet, take a gander at “Community QVC/Linea.” Ciley started a wonderful thread that sings you praises.

Question: Are there going to be any new sweaters of any sort in an aubergine/merlot/burgundy shade?

    Thank you so much!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you for bringing Ciley’s post to my attention…..I don’t get over there much. It was very kind of her and everyone who responded. I appreciate the words very much………….Honestly I don’t remember if there is a new Aubergine sweater coming besides the V-neck….I have sweaters swimming around my head!! LOL

      1. Goldie76

You can be assured, Louis, that our words of praise and gratitude were sincere.

I’m confused about the V-neck sweater in aubergine. Is that the same V-neck that has always been offered or is this a new one? Didn’t you have a long-sleeve V-neck in years past? Is the same one or is it different because it is in WK?

Also, symbolically (as a lit major, I tend to respond to what I interpret as signs), the postman just delivered a lovely bundle. Comprising my delightful delivery were the sleeveless V-neck top with side slits in that faux washed silk fabric (cherry — gorgeous shade – A235313); the short sleeve scoop neck top in putty (so soft and flattering — a classy item – A235311); and the September issue of “Vogue.” What a powerful message from the gods. Linea fashions and fashion’s influential word.

Thank you for your wonderful work.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

The aubergine is a reorder color of the classic V-neck. The new v- neck is a tunic and does not come in Aubergine. There are just two V-necks in Wk with long sleeves.

  13. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Louis, when I saw how beautifully the malachite pairs up with my green long ottoman rib knit jacket with the gold buttons from 2009 – I grabbed up the new pencil skirt in malachite and will have a lovely soft suit from that. (Thank you also for the length of the newest pencil skirt also!) And the Lapis looks exquisite with the same ottoman rib knit jacket with gold buttons from 2009 as well in the blue so I’m toying with which of the lovely pieces available in THAT color will give me the most options. You said once that you love a certain – but wide – array of colors and that you repeat them over time. I feel VERY lucky to have expanded my Linea repertoire from 4 years ago in Linea. Thank you for the lovely new WK OLO and the new WK regular items in the new colors!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I’m so glad the colors work together……I loved those ottoman sweaters…………….between you and me…….there is a new ottoman suit coming on the Aug 26th show at 11pm. I did the EXACT same suit when I was at AK, and Jac wore it last year…..still looks great!….and I said I have to do this for my Linea Ladies………it was a feat to find the knit fabric, but I did….of course the original was made in Italy out of a fine wool, but next to one another, you can’t tell the difference!

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

wow Louis!!! Sorry for my paucity of words. I’m just thrilled you were able to do a new ottoman suit and you can bet I’ll have a sharp eye out for either the sneak peek or for it’s arrival on the Aug 26 show at 11 pm!!!!! I have yet to play around with the shorter ottoman jacket which had the 3/4 length sleeves and the A. Hepburn neckline and matching button but I can already see that the new violet pencil skirt and the new WK turtleneck in violet would make a smashing contrast to the magenta ottoman knit in the shorter version. I already have this length pencil skirt in black (having all 3 sets of cardi and pencil from 2 Christmas’s ago in fawn, black and perfectly pink) and to that I have added the new grey and the new walnut pencil skirts yesterday and will be adding the violet and the malachite pencil skirts early next week. I’m sure the fuchsia pencil will soon follow. A plethora of options!!!!! I always loved how you styled those 3/4 sleeve ottomans with classy long black leather gloves 🙂

  14. Elena

    Louis,

Will there be a reorder of the cropped leggings for fall?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

NO, but I have a ponte knit legging…not too tight……that will be avail later in the season.

      1. Liz

Perfect. That is a question I have been meaning to ask.It is exactly want I wanted. Add my thanks to the long list,I have such a beautiful wardrobe after years of collecting.

      2. Sherry

Yes, a skinny knit pant!!! Done up in “Louis” style. Sure to be a hit!!!

  15. LauraL

    Hi Louis,

In the waist whittling sweater (A210360) there was a pewter option that I have and love. Is the new pewter in the whisper knit the same color? The real question is will it coordinate with the new whisper knit skirt?

    Thanks

    Laura

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Laura….I checked the samples to be sure. Your sweater is the same “type” of gray, but a lighter shade…..they are both “warm grays”. They look great together…not a match, but the lighter top with the darker skirt looks great!

      1. LauraL

Thank you very much for checking. The skirt will soon be on it’s way home to me.

        Laur

  16. njlady

When is the new leather jacket & knit sleeves going to be shown? You said it had zippers. Would love to see a sneak peak.

Can you give some type of clue what the style is????
    Thank you

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Sorry you’ll have to wait….that’s not due until OCT……..will not have samples for quite a while.

    2. Seka

      njlady,

If you go to the July Sneal Peeks – there is one titled ‘PM Style Sneak Peek’ – and it show the Suede Jacket with knit sleeves and zipper – in Topaz.

      Seka.

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

I think njlady is referring to a “LEATHER zip front jacket coming in Oct….in Ruby, Back and Forest Green…..It’s a shorter clean snappy little jacket nd the knit is done differently….the sleeve is a combination of leather and knit….the under vertical panel of the sleeve is knit making it easy to bend the arm.

  17. nikki

    Hello Louis,
I absolutely love each and every piece and color of the whisper knit collection. I am trying to come up with a list, I wanted to know what colors the tunic is coming in and what color is the surplice sweater coming in. Thankyou for these beautiful pieces.

  18. Bcm

    Hi Louis,

I received your WK sweaters in walnut and ruby in the V neck, as well as the violet TN. The colors are superb, rich and saturated. I love them! I have a question about the gold bead necklace in your most recent sneak peaks- are they shown as one necklace? Or are they two necklaces, as you often like to do? Your jewelry is always so chic, I’m addicted! Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Bcm……….here is the low down on the necklaces. That is the first sample and it is one necklace. Everyone felt, except me that it was too thick, and I suppose for the average person it is a little exaggerated, so instead of it being a 10 strand necklace, as photographed, it will be an 8 strand necklace with a three inch extender. I will also say due to the material it is made in, it is very light in weight. They are not glass beads, but the look is what we went after.

      1. Bcm

Thanks for your reply. I am glad they are a bit less than shown. Will they be available in other colors besides the gold and the silver?

        1. Kate

If memory serves me, there will also be a tri-tone option (silver, gold, gun)!

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Amost right….it’s 4 metals….silver, gunmetal, gold and chocolate……plus the solid gold and the solid silver

  19. dee

    Louis,
Can I wear my white jeans year round? Im picturing them with my navy blazer and Kate shirt. too hot for summer. I just ordered a second TSV jacket in teal. thank you. Dee

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dee……I may not be in the majority, but I say YES YES YES……….I know many models who love wearing their white jeans all winter long. The way you want to wear it is perfect. The only thing is….the jeans should be in a some what heavier wight material so they don’t look like summer pants. They also look great with Irish fisherman’s sweaters and boots…..all heavy gauge sweater looks great with white jeans!

      1. dee

        perfect! thanks

      2. Sherry

I thought the “old” rules went to the wayside a few years ago. Isn’t fashion “now” about wearing what you like, and what looks good whenever you want to wear it? Wear what pleases you! Just my thoughts on the matter. LOL

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear sherry…..you’re absolutely right, but some old rules take long to die….there are many people who wouldn’t agree we us.

  20. Judy

If this has been addressed I am sorry but, I must have missed it. Are the wonderful Whisper Knit pants being reordered? I own one pair and loved them so much that when I went back to get more they were all gone in my size small. I love the drape and I have never owned any pants more rich looking or comfortable.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Judy…..I love these pants too, but they have not been reordered….I keep pushing, but they keep getting dropped. I think you should start a rally on the fashion forum….”I wants WK Pants”. Let’s see if we can get some numbers behind them. I think you should restate exactly how you feel about them. For me they are the best BLACK pants a woman could own, no matter what her size.

  21. Debbie

I asked about the new color for the blouse with removeable tie. I guess I waited too long to see if you answered, as my question is gone. If you answered can you or someone who knows please repost the new color.
    Thanks

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Debbie…I answered your question…..don’t know what happened to it? The color will be Burgundy and works beautifully with the new leather jacket and the tweeds and checks coming in Sept.

      1. Debbie

Louis, Thank you for answering again.

  22. dee

    Hi Louis,
Love new Lapis and pewter. When is the pewter tank and vneck going to be available? and Im patiently waiting for the the crew neck long sleeve, coming in Aubergene? Also were the old WK rib knit tee shirts reordered? I would love it in gray and walnut.
    thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

All of the OLO WK styles should be posted late next week. I don’t know which tee shirt you are referring to?

      1. dee

A3825. short sleeve ribbed t shirt with jewel neckline.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear dee, I believe that was a cotton/ acrylic sweater, and no it has not been reordered.

          1. dee

cotton/rayon. my favorite combo. ok thank you.

    2. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Dee, I was told all of the new WK OLO styles would be posted next week, if not for sure the next. I do not know which tee you are referring to?

  23. Sharon

Hello Louis, I have started my ordering now that the new whisper knits have showed up. My new favorite color is lapis so I ordered the turtleneck and cardigan but is there going to be other items in that color? I see the violet has a matching skirt but the lapis doesn’t. So I ordered the violet skirt to go with the violet turtleneck but there isn’t a cardigan in violet. Forgive me but I’m confused, could you help me understand what I need to order to coordinate my closet.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Not every style was ordered in every color, so not every color will be in the cardigan. The tanks will be in the same colors as the cardigans. When they are all posted you should make a list of each style and what colors they come in and then decide how you want to put it together. It won’t be so confusing when they are all posted and you know what is avail.

  24. Beryl

    Dear Louis,
I ordered the new WK cardigan in pewter even before I saw it on your sneak peaks. So glad i got it before it’s gone. It looks fantastic. Also was able to get the new earrings in gun metal before they sold out. How lucky can you get.

  25. Irma

Wanted to ask about the leather jacket. I thought that when you had the cocoa striped dress on, we saw a rust colored leather jacket. Is that this same jacket or a different one? Will the tarragon jacket go with that striped cocoa dress?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Irma….that’s a new SUEDE jacket which will be on the 1pm show on Aug 26th.

  26. Andrea

Louis will the wk skirt in fuchsia match the WK t in fuchsia? Also the new violet? I thought I saw them in a sneak peek in violet.

  27. Carol in FL

    Hi Louis,

Three of the new whisper knit items just appeared on the QVC web site. One is the pencil skirt in violet, black, fuchsia, malachite, pewter, and walnut. Is the pewter like the steel gray in the wool blend pencil skirt?

You mentioned that the WK tunic (a228341) is returning. You also mentioned that a long-sleeve jewel neck tunic would be coming in topaz and aubergine. Are they one and the same tunic or different tunics?

I’m so excited about the new whisper knits, posh knits, and new items that are to come! It’s hard to be patient and hard to plan which items will fit best into the wardrobe when we don’t know quite what to expect. The good news is that it’s great to have so many choices. Thank you for all you do, and like another person wrote, you do make me feel like a kid at Christmas!

    Carol

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol………the pewter of the WK is compatible with the acrylic/wool skirt. The PEWTER is lighter and the WK is more of a year round fabric and color…..the Pewter will look great with white in the spring. The tunics are one in the same…..There will be a new tunic….same body as the jewel neck….but with a VEE-NECK….and it’s marvelous!……………..

      1. Carol in FL

Thanks, Louis for the clarification and for posting the WK choices!!!! I love v-necks and looking forward to adding more grays to my wardrobe, along with ruby, lapis, malachite, topaz…..LOL. Keep the clothes coming. I want them all!

        Carol

P.S.-I received the tank and jacket in the faux silk in nutmeg. What a beautiful color and love the fabric! It looks and feels like a quality washed silk that I had a few years ago. Did I remember you saying that there will be a faux silk shirt in our future? I hope so!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Carol….you did remember correctly and I just received the samples and they are beautiful!

  28. Kate

Is A237410 the peasant sweater that Brenda wore in black with the red boho? It’s called boatneck on the Q but it sure looks like a scoop to me! By the way the Gunmetal swirl earring is totally sold out, and I have been told the silver will be close behind!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate….it sure looks like a SCOOP to me too…..and it is! YES…this is the same sweater Brenda was wearing……The mind boggles!…… Next week, I have been told, all of the WK will be posted.

      1. Kate

        Bring on the surplice!

Not taking any chances. Ordering this one in several colors and the WK skirt.

  29. Debbie

Hi Louis, I have been on waitlist since January for your blouse with the removeable tie. It is suppose to be filled in September. You mentioned a new color in the blouse, will it be coming in September also? Can you tell us the new color? I would like to know if I should wait and reorder both at once.
    Thanks
    Debbie

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

OK OK………it’s a deep wine…..can’t remember the name without looking it up….way too much to remember for my pea brain!

  30. DeLois

Louis I think you mentioned once a crew neck Whisker Knit in Topaz….. Is that correct and what month will that be. Also will the accordian pleated skirt in black be coming back and what month??????

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear DeLois……….the jewel neck will be posted next week with the other whisper knits………..the skirt was not reordered, but the other pleated skirt may be avail. It came in Black and Mushroom.

  31. Nancy

Hi Louis, Red here AGAIN ~
I am trying to get super organized before your next show right before our vacation. I am salivating over the cognac colored jacket that was shown with the olive, brown and pumpkin striped dress that you previewed last month. I think the official color was “topaz”? If so, will that be one of the 3 new jackets available on this August show?? Item # was A236138. I want and need that jacket!!! Love the newest ones you’ve shown, but somehow I don’t think burgundy is the best color for me even though I do really like it.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hey RED……yes that is the Topaz SUEDE/KNIT jacket and I believe it will be on the 1pm show…..but not sure. Itb will definitely be on one of them…..By the way the DEEP Burgundy should look great on you. There is a lot of brown in this Burgundy….it’s not blue.

      1. Nancy

Oh, oh, oh – too tempting. When I look at the preview pix, I can see the brown in it as you mentioned the 2 photos on the right being closest to the color. I DO like it too. I was contemplating the tarragon one, but I already have a green suede jacket and think I’m getting a little carried away by ordering another green one. I have to be somewhat practical, right? By the way, I can’t wait to see the lapis pieces you mentioned previously. They sound very interesting and would be striking during the holidays.

Thank you for your quick reply Louis

“Red” (guess that will be my new moniker now)

  32. Karen

Louis: I see there is a new color in the denim jacket (aqua). Will there be other pieces and when will this be available. Thank you.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes…..a whole group of OLO pieces in denim, plus the denim skirt is still avail in certain sizes from the last go around……but that’ for next spring….so let’s not get too ahead of our selves or you may faint…LOL

  33. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Pairing the Black leather and rib knit jacket with last years whisper knit black pants should be a no-brainer, right Louis? (I just LOVE no brainers) 🙂

      1. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

🙂 Happy Woman in New England 🙂

  34. Beryl

    Dear Virginia,
I couldn’t agree with you more. I am also addicted to Linea. LDO is the best !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  35. Virginia

    Hi Louis
Just wanted to let you know that you have ruined me! I don’t drink, smoke, gamble, etc. However, since I discovered WK this past spring, I am officially a WK addict. I have purchased just about every WK offered in just about every color offered. In fact, my “addiction” is so out of control that I anxiously check everyday for new arrivals, I can’t get enough of them.
All kidding aside, I just want to thank you for bringing us such wonderful products & BTW, the sneek peeks make me feel like a kid at xmas.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Virginia………….thank you for sharing. As you said there can be a lot worse things to be addicted to!! LOL Letting me know that something I did can make you feel like a kid on Christmas morning…..knowing that feeling….well, you just made my day!

  36. Jane

    Good morning, Louis,

Your leather/knit jacket in burgundy A228554 is already up on the website for ordering but there is no color swatch. Is it possible to show us a sample of this color? Thank you.

    1. Jane

      Thank you, Louis!

      1. Jane

        Absolutely! You are the best!

  37. Chrystene Krueger

    Dear Louis –

I am so pleased you have been highlighting your jewelry on your blog. I just received a fabulous package today that included your Fleur-de-Lis Cross Pendant, the matching station necklace in wine the 48″ gemstone necklace and the changeable drop earrings. I also recently bought the multistrand bead necklace in the neutral. What beautifully made jewelry at such reasonable prices. I think they are as well made as Kenneth Jay Lane’s. I wish I could order all your pieces at the same time and have a little party playing with it. Thank you for all the styling tips as well. Your clothes are lovely. I am addicted! Will there be WK pants to match the new sweaters and pencil skirts? I am trying to plan ahead for the 26th shows. What colors are the WK skirts going to be? Hope my husband does not notice so many QVC packages arriving after yoour upcoming shows!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Chrystene…..is you name pronounced like Christine with a different spelling?…….I think it is important to re-post some of the jewelry pictures once in a while, because if your only reference is the QVC pictures, no one will want anything, Also, for me they aren’t just pieces of jewelry. They are inspired by things I have seen and loved, and then I try to work these pieces into the collection of clothing I am doing for QVC. I LOVE ALL the pieces you have just received! The NATURAL SEED BEAD NECKLACE was inspired by African women’s necklaces. They wear marvelous seed bead necklaces that start under the chin and then spread out over the collar bone…..all held in place with bone “ribs”….sort of like a corset. Your natural necklace is going to look incredible with my new CAMEL SUIT coming on my Aug. 26th show…….there will also be a silk/cashmere turtleneck and other styles in the matching camel……..it is very chic and very expensive looking………….The reason my jewelry is made as well as the KJL is we both use the same manufacturer. If I was going to be in the jewelry business for QVC, I wanted a good manufacturer. I didn’t want to just make another line of cheap looking jewelry. For the price I think the pieces are fantastic. I would love to PUSH the envelope more, but there is price resistance, and I don’t mean the QVC buyers………….There are no WK pants coming. I did make a sample, but it was not bought. With all the pros and cons with the last pant….they as well as my manufacturer were gun shy……but I still believe in them 100%. Years ago, Halston did sweaters and pants and skirts to match and they were fabulous…..I think LIZA still wears them!!LOL…..I tried to do the same thing in the WK, which is the perfect yarn to do it……I will keep pushing. Maybe some one should post on the fashion forum that they want WK pants to match all the sweaters , and see what kind of a response there is. That could help if the response is strong enough……don’t worry about your husband….he should be noticing how beautiful you look ….and not the packages!…..enjoy all of your new things…….Louis

Camel Suit = Fabulous! Camel ‘Posh’ Knit Tneck = More Fabulous!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

……….and what a jacket and pant they are………..brand new gorgeous fabric……..

  38. connie turnbull

Hi Louis, QVC just let me order the leather/knit jacket A228554. They are calling
the new color burgundy. Can’t wait for the 26th…so exciting. I guess you’ll never be able to retire. (We hope) You can style the models from your “hov-around”. LOL

  39. Patti ("Writer with Flair")

    Dear Louis,

I am relatively new to your beautiful line of clothing, so I have a question: who is “Linea”?

    Thanks,
    Patti

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Patti……….LINEA….pronounced…..LYNN-E-AH…..is an Italian word that means LINE. So it could be interpreted as “a line of clothes” or the “line of a garment”, or “the line of a woman’s body”. It is commonly used in Italy such as “Linea Pelle”, which is a company that makes leather goods…..pelle means leather…….it is not the name of a person.

  40. Barbara C

    Hello Louis,
I have the fabulous A235307 cap sleeve striped dress in the blue/black combo. What do you think about pairing it with the black/white houndstooth jacket from last year? Also I love the putty “t-shirt” with the perfectly pink boho skirt. Thank you!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Barbara….I love the idea….it’s very editorial!. I’ll try it only mannequin to see if it really works and get back to you, but if you own them already, you can try it on and see how it looks on. It’s a very bold look, so I would temper it with black tights and heeled shoe boots that fit close….or black suede boots and a simple black shoulder bag….. Maybe a black TN when it gets cold

    2. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

Barbara C : Thanks for the suggestion about pairing the striated putty tee with the perfectly pink boho. It would also therefore go well with the longer perfectly pink pencil skirt too. And the perfectly pink turtleneck with the putty striated skirt 🙂 Love that!

  41. Beryl

I was lookinf forward to your August 26th shows. Infortunately I’ll mis the 1 PM show. Will the items be available under new additions?

    1. connie turnbull

Beryl, The leather/knit jacket in burgundy is already up. I have it in the black and green and it’s wonderful.

  42. Pamela

    Dear Louis:

I’m confused – A214117 Georgette Set is online with ‘new’ colors of Navy & Smoke. Will this item be in Q inventory before Fall Season? or is this a blunder? If not, I want….TIA

    1. Pamela

Forgot to state as offered “Wait List”?

      1. Louis Dell'Olio

This is not a blunder, but QVC’s programing is strange. When an order goes into the system, even though it’s for spring, it also shows up on the Linea site for a while and then they can take it down. They will take a wait list but if the delivery is a certain amount of months later [don’t remember how long] the wait list will be voided because they only hold wait list for a certain time….I know it’s a screwed up program….they know it too. So you can go on wait list but know that it may be voided. This isn’t due until Feb.

  43. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

Your description of Morocco brought back many fond memories. My husband and I were there 2 years ago and it will always be one of my favorite places. I did purchase one Berber necklace (large amber beads) as well as two small Berber rugs to use as wall hangings. I just went to QVC.com to order your Morrocan necklaces – one it each color. I know that I will not be disappointed – maybe I should have ordered 2 of each?

I agree with Nancy about her request for earrings.

Thanks for your update about the necklaces – I don’t know how I missed them the first time.

    Dariann

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I remember very well when you went to Morocco. As I recall you took pebble crepe, and didn’t you go on to Spain? When we went to Morocco, we started our trip in Rome and we stayed at the Hassler Hotel at the top of the Spanish steps. They screwed up our reservation which they acknowledged and gave us the “LIZ & DICK” suite. It was gigantic and has a huge terrace overlooking all of Rome. Too bad it was only for two nights. On our way home, we were booked at the Hassler again and again they gave us the same suite!…..but it was only for one fabulous night…..Jac was thrilled. When she worked for Valentino she made him and Jean Carlo [his partner] take her to see where Liz and Dick lived on the Appian Way when they were shooting Cleopatra…she was a little disappointed in the house. I guess she thought it was going to be an incredible villa, but it wasn’t.Sometimes it’s better not to know…can you imagine…she asked Valentino to take her to see this villa….on a sight seeing tour! That’s my wife! When we were in LA she wanted to see the house Marilyn Monroe died in but it is totally different. I think it was torn down and rebuilt. LOL……If you like the necklaces as much as I think you will….there’s always time to get another….or one more in your favorite color way….3 is the max you can wear at one time…..I think?…LOL

      1. Dariann

        Dear Louis,

What a remarkable memory you have! Yes, my husband and I went to Southern Spain after we went to Morocco. It was very interesting to compare and contrast the Moorish influence in both countries.

What wonderful adventures you and Jac have had – she is a woman after my own heart!

Thanks for sharing – now which of the 2 necklaces needs a duplicate?
        Dariann

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

I have a terrible memory….can’t remember a name for the life of me….but talk about garments and I can tell you when, where and how….very weird!

      2. DeLois

Morocco has memories for me as well…. on a trip, 5 days in Morocco and 5 days in Kenya (my favorite) we bought a rug for our Family room (special order) and had to pre-pay; need I say nervous til it arrived. Just before we left we saw a rug in the hotel and I fell in love with it for the colors….bought it and had it sent. The girl could not speak much English and she sent it by plane……. the shipping cost half of the cost of the rug. Nevertheless we enjoyed and I still enjoy both rugs. Our plane had issues so we spent an extra day in Morocco and one less in Kenya. I enjoyed Morocco, but Africa was my dream and still is the best vacation ever…… I do recommend it…..

  44. Cheri

    Dear Louis,

The spruce green jackets that you will be showing are they the same spruce green that you had a couple of years ago. I love that color. Will there be pants or skirts to match?

  45. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

I know we’ve had some discussion here about the models wearing Linea in the online photographs of your fashion pieces – and how some of the photos may tend to ward off buyers. But here’s an issue I can’t live with. I was checking out the olive boho photos online to see if it was a good match for an olive Simonton piece I was considering (the olive Linea feather jersey piece I wanted is sold out in my size) – and the new photo of the boho in the olive just looked “wrong”. I went to my closet and pulled out my olive boho and took it to the computer and the picture of the olive boho is definitely NOT “your” olive. It looks closer to the mocha. Can they not even get the colors right? I wonder, did they mix them up or was the lighting just plain awful? If they must “re-do” a photo of one of my favorite Linea items, you’d think they could at least get the colors right! BTW, that mocha doesn’t look quite right either but I don’t have the actual mocha boho in hand to compare it with.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Nancy….I can’t even go there…..not one of the Fiesta color Whisper Knits was the right color. Their photos is what what prompted me to do my sneak peeks. I didn’t want anyone to think the clothes looked that awful.I appreciate how difficult it is to capture colors and textures in pictures, but this is the business and selling on line is what the future of retailing is about…..every store is doing it and the ones who do it best will reap the rewards…….so the sneak peeks…..it takes an enormous amount of time to do them…..decide what to put together, dress the mannequin, accessorize, photograph then down load, make collages and write the script is becoming a larger undertaking that I imagined………it is very time consuming.

      1. LauraL

Just want to say we all really appreciate the time and effort you take as most of us now make our determinations of what we will buy based on your sneak peak pictures and descriptions. Without those I probably would not be buying as I find it very hard to watch the shows live and usually after the shows the items are sold out – although I do watch the shows for ideas. The QVC pictures are so horrible I wouldn’t be able to order correctly without video.

The pictures and descriptions give me a good idea as to whether the style works with my body type and lifestyle.

        Thank you very much.

        Laura

      2. Nancy (aka TheOwl)

I know we don’t need to keep on telling you how much your photos, the styling of the items in the photos, and the archive of them you keep here at the blog MEAN to all of us. But it never hurts to hear it again or to say it again. I think the testament to that is all of the good Linea Ladies who are so frequently asking you when “the next sneak peek” is 😉 One of the mixed blessings about having us all so attached to them. But the mean a lot to us who so love your line and I for one go back, back, back in the archive photo history to refresh my mind on how you styled something. I hope the archive is a permanent feature here. I completely agree that online sales is the future – if not the present for many of us – of retailing. I hope you can feel some of the appreciation out here for all that you do to improve on what the Q seems unable to do very well yet.

      3. Nancy

Thank you so much Louis for the sneak peeks and your fabulous sketches. I also base my shopping list on your photos and information. You are the best!

      4. connie turnbull

Thank you Louis. The sneak peaks make all the difference in the world, also the archives which I refer to often.

  46. Cheri

    Dear Louis,

Iam so looking forward to August 26TH. Will the tweed jackets be in the shows that day? Also will the blue tee shirt be able to wear with the grey tweed or is the blue in that tweed more of the dark teal? I love all of your classic designs, because I can wear them now and in ten years. Thank you for all you do.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cher…..The tweed jackets and the check jackets are for my Sept 25th TWO HOUR SHOW!!! I will have FOUR JACKETS on my Aug 26th shows……The 1pm show will have two new incredible jackets and I mean OUTRAGEOUSLY beautiful and the 11:00pm show will have two more…………one of them being the new suede jacket….which is, IMHO, SPECTACULAR! I really don’t know how we can make jackets, of this quality, at these ridiculously low prices…..they are the best novelty fabrics I have used. Are you are referring to the Blue T-shirt from July? Which Grey tweed are you referring too….I’m drawing a blank..LOL……You are so right…..these clothes are timeless, because they are unique and not representative of any particular trend that comes….and eventually goes.

      1. Goldie76

        Dear Louis,

I’m too chatty lately, and I apologize for frequent appearances on the board, but you know what? The Duchess of Cambridge (a.k.a. Kate Middleton) has superb taste. That is not just my opinion. Of all the designers on QVC, you are the one whose clothing she would wear. No matter where you showed your fashions, she would gravitate toward your designs.
        Just how I see it.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you…..Styled for her….minus the hats LOL….I could definitely see her in the clothes.

          1. Goldie76

Yeah, those “fascinators” leave something to be desired. But that’s that British thing she has to conform to. Protocol and all that. (But I do love the large hats at Ascot — remind me of Fellini ladies, and I do love Fellini.)

The Great Kate would assuredly love your style. We are sooo lucky to have you on the Q! You are a blessing, Louis.

      2. Pamela

That’s magic music to this jacket junkie’s ears!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

You had better save your SHEKELS!!!! There are going to be many many temptations!

      3. Cheri

        Dear Louis

Thank you for answering. the blue t in the July show was the one I was referring to. I had read in the blogs that you might have a grey tweed with blue in it for the fall similar to the tweed jacket you had last year in the walnut and tarragon.

Sorry if I was not very clear and for the confusion I caused.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

AH YES…that is correct but it is more of a slate cadet blue, which works well with gray…..there will be sweaters in cadet to go with the tweed.

  47. Nancy

WOW! Louis, I LOVE the new jewelry with the Berber influence!!!! Absolutely stunning. I have one small (or you may consider it a large) request. Some of us have “older” piercing holes on our ears which have stretched over time (and weight). I like to wear a dangle earring with a button or some type of enhancement at the ear which covers that piercing. I am going to have to break this rule with these earrings because they are just so beautiful, but could you keep that in mind when you’re designing and try to accommodate that request ON OCCASION? I know I’m not the only person with this challenge because I hear a lot of women searching for the same thing. You do a fabulous job with your clothing and design. I have referred so many friends to your site and I’m thrilled to have found you while I’m still a “working woman”. You make dressing so much easier and the price points can’t be beat!!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy that is a very good suggestion and I am glad you have brought that to my attention…..I will definitely consider it when designing future earrings.

      1. Nancy

Thank you SO much 🙂 🙂 🙂 Also, I was thrilled to go on line a few minutes ago and see that the Berber inspired jewelry has been available for a while and is the same group I have looked at in the past and considered. It’s so helpful to have them shown on your personal website. I’m leaving for Italy in 2 weeks and should have them by then and can pair them with the copper sleeveless, vneck whisper knit. I’m a happy camper!!!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Nancy…you will look amazing! I can tell you after traveling to Italy for 20 years 4 to 5 time a year….you will get many admiring glances…..The Italians are jewelry lovers.

          1. Nancy

I agree Louis. They have an eye for design and my husband usually buys me a piece of something “special” while we’re there. I always get compliments on whatever he buys and I am reminded of a wonderful trip whenever I wear it. I must say though, Louis, I get SO many compliments when I wear your jewelry because of your own personal artistic talent. I’m leaving right after your next show, so I’ll be watching for that tweed jacket in the green (I’m a redhead).

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Hey RED!!! My mother was a red head too and that’s what my father used to call her…RED…….she had amazing deep red hair and I remember as a child being……..don’t know the right word….drawn, enthralled, mesmerized, fascinated etc.etc by it…….then it turned white and she would jokingly say it was because of me!………I’m not sure what green tweed you are referring to???There won’t be any tweeds on the Aug show….but there will be two Spruce Green Jackets….the tweeds are for Sept and Oct and there aren’t any in Green…..sorry………..but you must get the LAPIS color in anything…..it would be amazing with your red hair…….I’ve got it! A LAPIS WK sweater and the LAPIS sequin skirt coming in Nov…..how’s that for a Holiday outfit!

            2. Cheri

              Dear Louis

Cheri here after reading the post from Nancy I was wondering if the spruce green jackets are the same coloras the spruce green suade jacket that you had a couple of years ago.oLoved that green and will you have matching pants?

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Cheri….very similar….it’s impossible to get an exact match from one year to the next….there are too many variables. No matching pants, but a matching dress, a matching short skirt and in D3ec. a maxi in the green. I will have to remember to do a dark green spruce green pant.

            4. Nancy

Hi Louis, RED here – again,

I loved your story about your mother and father – my hair is lighter – more of a strawberry blonde, but definitely red! How funny that your mother told you that you turned her hair white. I had 4 children – 3 girls and then later I had a “surprise” baby – a boy and my only redhead!! He is now 31 and I tell him he turned my hair too!! Since he was the only redhead, of course he stole my color, right?! (Of course, I now try to match the color it always was. ) We actually visited Morocco ourselves during a stay in Marbella, but were only there on the “tourist” trip for 1 day. The colors were amazing! ! I did want to tell you that the tweed jacket I am referring to is actually the one in your second photo of the jewelry. There is a green sweater in one and then there is a lighter jacket which I called tweed in tones of green, peach and bronze or gray? I can’t tell for sure. But it does look lovely with the necklaces. Is that an old piece?

            5. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Nancy……the tweed jacket was from last year…..it’s sold out…..but in Sept I will have another in 3 different colors….all great for “reds”.

  48. njlady

    Another question
Will the PoshKnit have any scoop necklines?
Will it be the same measurements as the whisper knit?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear njlady…..the only Posh Knit with a scoop neck will be a tank, and there will be a matching cardigan. It’s a terrific layering piece, and there will be a Posh Knit scarf in ALL the colors to mix and match.I don’t know the exact measurements but I would say the fit is similar…..so whatever size you are in the WK, that’s what I would recommend you order in the Posh Knit.

  49. njlady

    Hi Louis,
    Need your help again.
I want to purchase your v whisper knit (a217629)
I already have the tank (A232345)
I wear a medium & have my weight in the middle. Do you think the v neck is larger than the tank in the midruff area?
Not sure if I need to size up
Thanks for all you do and your help

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

I don’t know the exact measurements but I would say the tank is slightly smaller than the V-neck……we keep the tank a little smaller so the armholes of the tank don’t gap out. I would say stay with the medium. If there are any ladies who own both styles, maybe you can give some additional advise to njlady.

  50. Kathy

    Hi Louis
Just received my wk v neck’s in the ruby, navy and walnut they are superb! The fit is perfection. Waiting for more sneak peeks, and Aug 26.
    Kathy/wis

  51. Beryl

Love the walnut vee neck sweater.

  52. Tylerpoo

    Dear Louis,

The ruby v-neck WK sweater is divine!! Will there be a ruby pant or skirt to match?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Tylerpoo………..there will not be a pant….too bad, I’d love one…..BUT….in Oct there will be a RUBY/IVORY TWEED modified tulip skirt……and…..in NOV….a RUBY SEQUIN SKIRT in the same fabric as last years sequin dress, so it just twinkles………………with the Ruby V-neck sweater and the new Ruby outerwear jacket coming in Sept……it is so stinking CHIC! It looks like a fortune and right off a runway…but something everyone can wear.

      1. Kate

Will ruby be offered in another other style of WK?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, all new colors for the new WK OLO styles will be in three to four styles

  53. new york karan

I Just purchase the vest front cardigan and the 26 inch pencil skirt in fawn. Since I have enjoiyed and used the black 26 inch pencil skirt as a work horse, I also purchased a second one in black. I wish they were on reoder in other colors. My question is which one of the fall jackets would you put with my fawn outfi? I know I can use any of the black jackets, but want your opinion on other options. Thanks. Looking forward to the show.

  54. Ann from Maryland

    Hi Louis,

I’m looking forward to all of the new items on August 26th – sounds like it will be quite a line-up.

Will you be having any navy pants for this fall/winter? They are harder to find than a needle in a haystack.

    Thanks!

    Ann from Maryland

  55. Yvette

    Dear Louis,
I’m trying to decide which color(s) of the new button earring I’ll need. (I have the demi-hoops in all three colors, tra la!) Did I understand correctly that there will be a station necklace to go with these earrings, and that it will come in gold, silver, and gun metal just like the earrings? I re-read the discussion from August 4, when you sneak peeked the navy v-neck with these earrings and couldn’t keep straight which station necklace you were talking about. Is it wishful thinking on my part, or will we really have a necklace to match these earrings? And if so, WHEN?

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Yvette, there.isn’t a necklace to match with swirls or anything like that, but there are necklaces coming with metal beads in gold, silver and gunmetal that these will coordinate with. They will be later in the season, Sept and Oct.

      1. Yvette

Sounds good! I’d better grab the earrings now.

  56. Renee

Dear Louis: In your Jewelry Review the Olive is it a top or a dress? The non traditional WN cardigan coming in Sept. is in gray could you tell us one more color? Thank-you Renee

  57. Dariann

    Dear Louis,

I just ordered your beautiful pearls in pink & purple. Can you do matching earrings for us?

    Thanks,
    Dariann

      1. Dariann

        YEA!

  58. Kate

Your new button earrings have been posted, and I’m not taking any chances. I ordered the Gunmetal to go with all the gray sweaters coming and at the last minute tossed Gold into the cart because that will sell out first!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

That will be my go to earring in all colors since the demi hoops is sold out……the new one works with everything.

      1. Becky

I Love these 🙂 Thank you, Louis… and Kate for posting that they are available. I ordered immediately in gold! I also received and Love my new pearl necklaces in cream and navy!

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

Let me say…..the earrings are 1000 times prettier than the QVC photos……….The Gold, Silver and Gunmetal are beautifully done. I have used a lot of Gunmetal hard ware this coming fall season…..hint…..hint

          1. Becky

Back I go to the ordering site 🙂 🙂 The Gunmetal has actually been dancing around in my head as I’ve been cleaning 🙂

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Becky….it’s going to be a very important accessory color for me and there will be additional pieces in the Gunmetal coming……..

            2. Becky

Dear Louis, It’s so thoughtful of you to let us know in advance! It would be such a disappointment to later realize that they would exquisitely complement upcoming pieces only to find that they were sold out! Whew! Thank you!

            3. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Becky…..I always design the jewelry, not as random pieces, but to coordinate with the clothes…..even though they do stand on their own and can be worn with anything.

            4. Nancy

Hi Louis, but are you going to post a photo of the button earrings? Or have you and I just missed them? I’m going to get them anyway, but would love to see what’s coming and the scale of them to the ear!!

          2. Sherry

Will there be another gunmetal watch for fall/winter?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear sherry, actually I am not planning any new watches for the fall……just jewelry.

Gold always does go first then silver, but less of the GM were ordered so it’s wise to get them early.

      1. Nancy

Thanks Louis, I ordered the gold first and after your comments went back and ordered the gunmetal. Can’t wait to see them!!

    3. Coryc

Thanks for the notice Kate. I ordered mine right away. I have loved wearing the demi hoops. The buttons will be another great “go to” earring!

  59. Kate

LDO, please look at the product shot for the famed boho shirt. I’m sure you’ll want to dash off a note to your buyer! Nothing about it says “buy me”!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Kate…..is there any photo that says “buy me”? I have complained so much about the photos, but nothing changes. Their choice of models leaves much to be desired, and the poses do not show the clothes well at all….the colors are always very off..i.e…..The entire WK and FJ groups are all washed out. I think you should post on the QVC web site exactly what you think is wrong and should be changed. If they are depending more and more on OLO selling they HAVE to up their game.

      1. Kate

I think that’s a great suggestion. And, I will go one further by printing off some images and sending them with a note to corporate.

        1. Chris/Jazzmom

          Hi Louis,

Many women on the forum rely on YOUR photos to decide whether to buy or not. Thank you for taking the time and effort to create the collages.

          Regards,
          Chris

          1. MH_MN

Yes, indeed, thank you for all work that goes into the the sneak peeks! You show us the fabrics, designs and true colors, and a template to coordinate and accessorize. One would never buy based upon their dreadful product photos, and that would mean empty closets at my house.

      2. Susan Gosman

I would love to have the number of the “famed boho shirt.” I can’t find it anywhere! I just now I will love it.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

A70208 is the number….it has been a very popular skirt……over 40,000 skirts have been sold.

          1. Susan Gosman

Oh – “skirt.” Kate wrote “shirt.” LOL! Of course, I have the skirt, am, in fact, wearing it right now.

  60. Rochelle

    Dear Louis,
Would you kindly provide the address of your jewelry manufacturer for repair/restringing, please? This is regarding J153876, the pearl and black bead necklace. If service is still available for this piece, it would be most appreciated. My inquiry is for a friend who lost her Mother two days after (Mother) ordered the necklace. When the problem was noticed it was too late to return. I thought I could help…

Thank you for your time and attention!

    Best Regards
    Rochelle

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Rochelle……I am very sorry for your friends loss. My manufacturer would very much like to help with the necklace. Please send a short letter explaining what you would like done, in his case restringing, with your return address. Send it to: Mr. Dan Partington
      c/O K&M Associates
      425 Dexter Street
      Providence, RI 02908
You can address the letter to Mr Partington. Acknowledge that you are a Linea customer, and you have been advise by Louis Dell’Olio and Mr. Barry Ort to send the necklace to him for repair. Let me know how it all works out….Louis

  61. Pamela

    Hi Louis!

Is the OLO Linea Ponte the same as the TSV peplum jacket? Also, you did state ‘on air’ that the matching sweaters to the TSV will be a reorder – does that remain true? If so, When? – next Spring? I did order the sweaters, but Q did not deliver & matching pant & skirt are sellouts. Just wishin’……

    TIA

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Pamela…..the ponte for the OLO group is the same as the TSV. THe sweater that went with the TSV jacket has been reordered in all the colors except Iris, and will be avail early spring 2014.

      1. Chris/Jazzmom

How wonderful to hear that the TSV matching sweater has been reordered!!

        1. Sherry

By chance, have the TSV skirts been reordered? I have scored a couple of jackets and know I have other things to wear them with; but it would be nice to get a skirt or two. Great news that the WK TSV sweaters have been reordered as I need those as well.

          1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Sherry….yes it has, but just in the basic colors…..If I remember correctly….black, Ivory, Navy and Dark Heather Grey has been added.Any of these colors will work with any of the TSV jackets….The matching sweater has also been reordered in all the colors but Iris……so it you can have complete looks

            1. Sherry

Oh goodie, dark heather grey…thank you, that’s great news!

  62. Toni Fisher

Hi Louis: I bought the violet t-neck in WK. What a gorgeous color on your web page. It is sooooooooooooooooooooooooo totally saturated and I think the color will be OK on my olive complexion. I used to stay away from purples, violets, etc., but I think this will be OK. Bless you, Toni

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Dear Toni, I think it will be good…I love olive and purple together!

  63. Renee

Thank-you Thank-you I can’t wait I will be getting it for my Birthday!

  64. Renee

Dear Louis Would you ever think of making a WK cardigan to go with your WK TN in Ivory or the Perfectly Pink? Thank-you I Love my Ivory & Pink Pearls

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Yes, I would consider it……there actually will be a non traditional cardigan in WK this Sept.

      1. Debbie M.

Would that be the one in grey that Kate was wearing in the last show?

          1. Pecan Cookie

And O M G was that boho, tank & cardi, and super stunningly dope wonderful necklace the most facinating look! Kate is beautiful but wow, she looked great. I loved that outfit! I know where I can get the clothes… what’s the scoop on the necklace?

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

The bib gunmetal necklace is from my collection, but the other faceted gunmetal or marcasite necklace will be avail. in Nov. for the holidays. It is the same length as the pearls, 72inches and can be worn many ways. It’s beautiful!

            2. Pecan Cookie

Sweet! A new sparkle! I love it! Thanks for designing it and promoting it to the buyers for us. I scored the new earring in gunmetal today but I won’t be mad if you make another gunmetal style too since nobody can just have one, especially those like me who missed on the demi hoop. Take care, Louis!
