…………………..HERE it is Ladies………THE ULTIMATE CARDIGAN……………A259706………….Why ULTIMATE?…….because I have compiled all of your wants and wishes and suggestions of what your perfect cardigan would be and this is the result……………………..WHISPER KNIT….CHECK……EVERY NEEDLE RIB CONSTRUCTION [ENR]…..CHECK…………POCKETS……….CHECK………..LONGER LENGTH, but not TOO long……CHECK….The SIGNATURE buttons were my idea………………….after all I have to contribute something…..LOL……………………So, here you have it….the ULTIMATE NAVY CARDIGAN…..approx. 29 inches long for the XS…..long sleeves…….classic V-neckline……..BEAUTIFULLY BEAUTIFULLY made. For me this is not only the Ultimate Cardigan…..this is the ULTIMATE WAY TO DRESS…….KNIT WEAR….in ONE COLOR…..from HEAD to TOE. It really doesn’t get more TIMELESS, SOPHISTICATED or CLASSY then this……….Fads will come and they will go, but this is a LIFESTYLE of dressing that lasts forever. This is the way you see real “monied” women dress on Madison Avenue…..not in the fashion of the moment. This is the way Jackie O dressed when the paparazzi photographed her coming out of Le Grenouille or Le Cirque after a luncheon…..If I had to pick only ONE way to dress all of you….this would be IT!…….KNIT DRESSING!………………..The Navy WK PANTS, A257285 for Reg. and A257386 for petite…are perfection, and a MUST HAVE as far as I am concerned if you want that dyed to match “COLUMN OF COLOR”…..The perfect NAVY TN, A72448 [shown in the photos]….This kind of look is what American SPORTSWEAR is all about…….This is the kind of look that put HALSTON on the map, and just continues and continues…..Look at Ralph Lauren’s new Fall campaign……The models are in one color from head to toe…..I have created this look MY ENTIRE CAREER, many times in ALL CASHMERE….or the finest MERINO WOOL, but doing it in WHISPER KNIT is second to none………….Switch to the NAVY WK PENCIL SKIRT, A253411, and to complete the look……wear one of my new LINEA BODY TIGHTS…..that match PERFECTLY!……The SOLID OPAQUE,  A260016, the PEEK -BOO-LACE, A260032…..the PINSTRIPE, A260031………..all avail. in NAVY…….If you want….do away with the skirt and pant and just put on my NEW LINEA BODY LEGGING in the DYED to MATCH NAVY, A260034…….Can you really ask for more than this???…….Oh yes….the perfect necklace, J296893….in the LINEA GOLD finish to go with the GOLD SIGNATURE buttons………The GOLD STUD EARRING will be coming for the Holidays……………….The belt is by way of ebay………………Now I know dark navy shoes are difficult to find ….so if you are interested I am going to suggest a pair that I saw in Neiman’s catalog titled ” essential style”. They are by Donald J Pliner, and they are made in an elastic crepe. The style is a sling back mule which rides high up on the instep giving the look of a shoe boot. The style # for the NAVY is X28G2 and they are $198. Neiman Marcus has free shipping and returns so nothing ventured….nothing gained. Jac owns these in black and has worn them on the shows with the Peek-A Boo lace tights. Since the shoe also  has an elastic sling back strap it really shows the fancy tights well…… She thinks they are extremely comfortable, and the heel is only 2 1/4 inch high which is not extreme. They also come in black and a dark brown …..good with the WALNUT TIGHTS………………………..Ladies……I’ve given you the clothes,….the jewelry ….the tights……..and recommended the shoe……there’s not much more I can do for you……at this point….LOL………..Now… when can you get this cardigan?………….This coming Monday night….Oct 6th on PM Style……I am driving down once again….just to present this to you…………………….enjoy…….much Love……………………….Louis

The skirt isn’t an exact match, but it is the same color just a little paler. They still look great together. For those of you who are more modest,  an alternative way to wear the cardigan, which would be more appropriate for the office and such, would be to add the BRICK RED TANK, as well as the new BRICK RED SHORT SLEEVE JEWEL NECK WK sweater [style number and sweater coming in Jan.]………..RED and GOLD is a powerful….”look at me”….entrance maker. ………………….The fifth and final choice for the ULTIMATE CARDIGAN is…….IVORY………..with GOLD SIGNATURE BUTTONS. The PALE BLUE WING COLLAR SHIRT, A259103 and a pair of jeans or my NAVY LEGGING can become your new casual uniform. For a more dressed look my Ivory crepe pant or my NAVY WK PANT……….FALL…..WINTER…..SPRING……SUMMER………………this Ivory cardigan will work for you. Going away on a Holiday or a cruise to a warm climate……an ivory cardigan works with everything……This is investment dressing at its’ best…………..Whisper Knit in WHITE, or any very pale color can feel thinner than the other colors, even in the ENR construction. White is bleached while the other colors are DYED. When you dye a yarn, especially in darker colors like BLACK, the yarn for lack of a better description….swells and feels fuller….even heavier. Have you ever put, by accident, a sweater into the dryer and when it comes out all shrunken and compact it feels heavier? Well that is similar to what happens to any yarn that is dyed… White or Ivory cashmere sweater always feel lighter than navy or black. The WK yarn is made for 12 gauge machines. All of my WK sweaters, whether jersey stitch or ENR stitch, are made on the same 12 gauge machines. The tension is the only think that can vary VERY SLIGHTLY, but at an infinite amount….or else the machine won’t knit properly. Believe me when I say…..the amount of humidity or lack of humidity in the air can also affect the outcome of the yarn during the dying process…..it’s all very technical stuff…………….after all is said and done………………I believe this is a fantastic new cardigan no matter which color or colors you choose, and I know you will enjoy it for years and years…………………………….much Love…………………………………..Louis
