“PUTTING IT TOGETHER”

pieces1

…………………………………….Putting it together is the fun part of dressing…..Taking all of the pieces in your wardrobes and creating new and exciting ways to wear it……mixing it all up. I thought it would be fun to take a few pieces you may or may not own and show how it can be mixed to give these pieces a little edge…………………In stead of starting with the under pieces….I decided to start with the ZEBRA COAT…..A267936……I have chosen two completely different looks……Look # 1….the Ponte Blazer with the Faux leather trim, A268123. This is a blazer with a lot of ATTITUDE….This is a blazer that could easily hang in any designer boutique, and have a $700 price tag….as is……..The fabric of this jacket is the exact fabric as the new BOOT CUT PANT, A268216, that is almost totally sold out…..so if you love that fabric……I would say if you are between sizes…size up. The IVORY TURTLE NECK, A259110, IMHO is the best “Fashion” TN I have done. I say that because it is a classic TN with a twist…..I love the idea of a classic blazer with a TWIST worn with the Zebra coat which adds that extra High Fashion LOOK…………What does this say about the woman who wears it……..She knows her stuff!…..Sophisticated and Chic………………………Look #2…………….For a more casual relaxed look, but still just as edgy and chic…..I’ve switched up the blazer for the TWO WAY ZIP MILANO STITCH SWEATER/JACKET in the HEATHER CHARCOAL GREY, A267937. The faux leather trim gives this cardigan that special edge. All of the elements….the Zebra pattern and the faux leather trim cardigan….give this outfit a very fashion forward look…..Add you WK BLACK SCARF, A257914, and you are ready for the chilliest days………………This is only two looks out of many many you can come up with……………………….enjoy…….much Love………………..Louis

Here reading but not posting, Goldie and Louis!

One thing I started doing a couple of years back is to make a 4X6 card for each new Linea garment or jewelry I get. On it I list the multiple ways I can wear it. In the past I had “played” with each Linea addition, came up with some great outfits, but then promptly started forgetting them. So started making these cards. I put them in an old Day-timer box organized by season. This metho9d works great for me, especially when I need to put together a travel wardrobe.

WOW….that’s really being organized! Being a man that will never be something I need worry about….a shirt, a pair of pants shoes and socks and I’m out the door!….LOL

You men have it so easy!!! As long as he lives, I don’t think Old Grumpy will ever understand why my wardrobe needs aren’t like his. “Why can’t a woman be more like a man”. LOL!

I was worried that the Pod People had taken away all the Linea Ladies, Barbara. Great idea, by the way. Louis is a genius at putting his pieces together, and I know you are talented that way, too. Remember when you wrote about the necklace you would wear with the white lace top made from that fantastic fabric? I do because it impressed me with its loveliness. You chose the clear glass beads to wear with that top. All I could think was, “That Barbara, she certainly has an eye.”

Well, I’m a HUGE fan! The rest of your fans are out showing off their Linea fashions, I guess. I’m at work, a prisoner. But I’m wearing my new seagreen WK sweater that has a V-neck and ribbing. So, life can’t be all bad. Like the single-minded person I can be, I can see Esther Williams wearing all the outfits you put together. For me, you capture — without cheap glitziness — that glamour of Old Hollywood in many of your fashions. Your styles, for the most part, are eternal.

Okay, you know I abhor a verbal vacuum. Where have all the Linea Ladies gone?

This look, as well as the others you pulled together, sings with your special touch of sophisticated sportwear. Timeless.
