“THE OLIVE ANORAK”

beach1

………………It’s September! Where did the summer go??? I know we still have a few more days of Indian Summer left, but let’s face it…..October is right around the corner, and this morning…here in CT. there is definitely a chill in the air that forebodes what is to come……..That said….I thought on this Labor Day weekend I would take the opportunity to recap some of the new fall items that have been presented…..or items that have already been posted before my Sept 29th two hour [2pm to 4pm] show with Mary Beth Roe………………The FAUX SUEDE ANORAK, A279526, is one of my favorites……………….This particular faux suede is very soft and buttery, and has a beautiful drape. Some have likened it to velvet, and yes both “fabrics” have a pile and a two way nap, but side by side IMHO they are very different. The OLIVE is a deep rich color and does not have too much yellow so it is an easier color to wear. If you are looking for coordinates I would suggest the following………..A265615, the Olive SLIM PANT, but sizes are limited, and the even though the pant has been reordered the Olive is not coming back……….A260034, the Olive LEGGING……..paired with boots or a shoe boot, and you are ready to go……..add my OLIVE WHISPER KNIT SHAW, A259111, and you can wear this into Dec. and maybe beyond….BTW, OLIVE is the only color left and very limited!…..For added protection during the winter months the Linea Body OLIVE TIGHT, A260016, will give you that added layer with skirts and even under pants. The Olive Anorak, a Black TN and WK skirt….the olive tights and a black suede shoe boot, the olive or black WK shawl and you will look like you stepped out of the new Fall catalogs…………..For those of you who have endlessly looked for just the right OLIVE TANK…..look no more………..A229468, the RAYON/SPAN top is still avail. I think this is a much overlooked item, and it will certainly fill that gap in your wardrobes…..Out of 15 reviews….12 are FIVE STAR……….give it a look. This is an item you can wear all year……….With the GOLD RIBBON necklace I like the Gold Demi Hoop J270391, or the Gold Stud which is part of  the FOUR PACK, J317109, now on sale at a terrific price………..Olive is a terrific BASE color to mix with lots of accents………yellow, orange, red, purple, lavender, royal blue, Lapis, turquoise, lime, charteeuse etc…..I could go on forever……Shawls and colorful scarves will change your look every time you wear your jacket……you just have to play!…………………….enjoy…………..much Love………………………..Louis

    Hi Louis
I purchased the olive anorak. What a beauty. I purchased the medium-same size as the Lt. Khaki eyelet safari jacket. The new faux suede anorak fits beautifully. I enjoy monochromatic dressing. I can wear the new anorak with my Linea olive slim ankle pants and a vintage Linea olive tank. Yesterday I purchased your Lt. Blue hoodie(A268127) that also came in oatmeal and taupe to wear with the new anorak-another great outfit. When It gets cooler, I also tested wearing the moss stripe cardigan buttoned up under the olive anorak-another great outfit. I already gave your new anorak a great review on QVC.

Louis, thank you for designing such a sumptuous jacket for your Linea ladies. I love the fact your collections all go together.

Agree wholeheartedly with Goldie…this jacket in any color is a must-have this season. I purchased the olive and just ordered the eggplant. So luxe and gorgeous!

In all honesty, Grace, I greedily want the steel blue and dark umber in addition to the olive and eggplant that I already purchased. This anorak just pleases me on so many counts — hard to explain. I can see wearing those other two colors in instances where I would not wear the olive and eggplant. Am grateful for the two beauties that I now own (and you own, too). Enjoy! The fabric and style of this anorak will elevate almost any apparel.

I am so happy you both love the jacket…..I always like to hear when my Ladies like something I truly believe came out better than I had hoped. It really is a quality garment and is definitely worth so much more than it is.

These anoraks are sublime, Louis. Definitely a do-not-miss piece of clothing. Bravi!
