Introducing “Lilibet Charlotte”……Lili

Jac and I are very happy to introduce you to the newest member of our family…..Lili! She is sweet as can be and a total joy. We wish her sister Annie was as happy with her as we are. She will not win the “Miss Congeniality” award, but we are sure time will heal everything.

    Hi Louis and Jac:

This is the best healing news of all! I wish you much joy and happiness with your new adorable bundle! Lets believe that Annie will be won over in time.

    LOL,

Dear Soldout…..Annie is like putty in Lili’s paws! They have become the best of friends and won’t go anywhere without the other. It took about one week for Annie to submit to Lili’s charms. Annie has taken on the role of big sister even though I really think Lili is the Alpha personality….They are too much fun!…………much Love…….Louis

Just adorable. Annie, of course, is jealous, but with time they will be friends. I’d pay extra attention to Annie now, and spoil her a bit. Lili, a lovely name! This is the wisest thing you could have done: a baby in the house is always a joy, and heals many a wound.
I have just come from the movies (will not mention the picture which I thought silly), wearing a lovely Linea georgette long top (little green and white flowers on a black background, with white piping), and jade and pearls jewelry (you would approve).
Dear Jac and Louis, all happiness to the four of you. For Lili, in Dante’s words: hic incipit vita nova ( here starts a new life).
    Much love, Alita

Dear Alita……PLEASE don’t hold back!!! What was the name of the silly movie? ……..so Jac and I are sure to miss it.
As far as Annie and Lili are concerned……they have become BEST BUDS and it is just a week today. It is hysterical to see the little one chasing the big one all around the house! Annie has to jump up onto the couch to get a break, and of course….Lili tries to jump up too. Lots of fun. You are so right “hic incipit vita nova”……………Louis

Dear Louis, the film is getting good reviews; it has beautiful panoramas, and a very popular actress, with a famous smile. This said, I am sure you can guess to what I am referring to. I am a bit of a snob with films. It seemed to me that this one was full of New Age nostrums, discovering oneself in exotic lands, and learning things that most of us knew well already in our early twenties. I found out the delights of pasta and pizza thanks to a Venetian grandmother early in life; I learned to pray on my mother’s knees, I never felt that boredom was a good reason to drop a good loving man, and the last thing I missed in my life was an exotic guru. I found the film emotionally shallow. The type of picture popular in the late 60s, early 70s, when I was a student in CA, at Stanford University, and everyone was enticed by Asiatic spirituality. I wasn’t then, and I am not now. Perhaps I am too European for this; but America seems to still have a taste (or a nostalgia?) for it. Therefore I don’t want to discourage anyone from seeing something they might enjoy. Enough said. I am sure you understand me well.
Today I wore with a casual black pencil skirt your white and black windowpane shirt. I love it. I have another in aqua, equally lovely. This year most of my purchases have been from Linea, although I confess to have been unfaithful: I bought at Nieman’s a classic navy blue blazer, with golden buttons from Dior. As Oscar Wilde said, what is temptation but to be fallen into?
I am delighted that the two black beauties are learning to play together. They will be inseparable in a little while.
This wait for your autumn collection seems interminable. I am refraining to buy from anyone until I see it. Well, September will be here soon.
With much expectation and love, Alita

She is cute as a button!!!!!!! What a wonderful name for her.

  4. Judy

Adorable! I love puppies, and if she is already trained, wow!! My younger Lab is a “puppy” of two and a half years, and he isn’t what I’d call trained yet. LOL!

  5. Tristan AKA Celia

Oh…..how a new life can change things!!! She looks so sweet, and full of new energy, I’m sure! Give her a rub for me!!

  6. Claudia

Oh she is gorgeous! How old is she? I’m sure Annie will come around. I’ve always liked Scotties but DH likes the large breeds. Think Newfoundland and Gt. Pyrenees. Annie’s probably in shock at the thought of “bringing up baby”.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

She was born on May 14th…so she’s a little over 10 weeks. Your husband would probably LOVE a “Leonburger”. I think that is how it is spelled. They look like a cross between a Newfoundland, a German Shepard, and a Lion. My nephew has 3 of them….they are huge, but lovable and sweet. Go on line…they are out of Germany…………….Louis

      1. Claudia

I’ve seen pictures of the Leonburger. They’re huge. We got our current newfie Titan MacNab at 9 weeks old and 24 pounds. His dad is 33 ” at the shoulder, 175 pounds.

Oh how cute is she?? Just beautiful!! Give her lots of love and hugs!! 🙂

She is getting them!!!! Best of all she gives them right back. I love lickers! She is the sweetest thing and soooo smart…..and already trained!!!!
