“THE BLACK ANTOINETTE BLOUSE”

pinky4

…………………………………BLACK………is the second color being offered in the Antoinette blouse……BTW, that’s my name for the blouse not QVC’s……………….The combination of this silhouette and color is pure CHIC. Where it any season…….In the summer wear it with white bottoms or Capri pants and leggings……Add a strappy sandal and voila…ready for a night out. In the fall and winter add a pair of pants….slim, straight leg or boot cut all work. Leggings with boots give you an edgier look. Whatever your style you can make this work for you……As for accessories…..the sky is the limit……all are good……………………enjoy…………………much Love………………Louis

This black blouse is perfect for what I have in mind!!!
I perform on my harp and I thought wearing this beautifully shaped blouse with my lace dropped waist skirt in black would be absolute perfection. 3/4 sleeves are a must, as well as a little stretch for reaching bass notes. What a lovely outfit I shall have !!
Thank you for this. Blouses are hard to find.

Love this in the black, & I’ve got the black leather pencil skirt + your lace tights to kick this right out of “You look pretty, Dear” into “Come on, Sugar, let’s RIDE” gear. And that’s my plan.

      April,

You never cease to make me smile and you never fail to delight me! I love how you translate your Linea gear into other kinds of looks and take them to activities with some zest.

Not to bore you, but your “Linea-Lady-with-Surprises” post moves me to regale you (and Louis, indirectly) of what my Linea garments have been doing. They were rockin’ out to the hits of Diana Ross, who performed at Wolf Trap this past Tuesday evening. The place was sold out, and even the lawn had hip-to-hip Diana worshipers.

There was a very nice gentleman to my left who was every bit as old as I am. He was attending with his wife, who was breathing from her portable oxygen unit. Every single time I would stand up to “act out” one of Diana’s songs (such as pushing out my hands for “Stop! in the Name of Love”), he would utter, “Rock on.” The place was electrified and my Linea held up well under the stress of lots of gyrations and rockin’ on.

I’m sure you had a ball, Goldie, that everyone there was stylin’ right along with you, & we all know you were comfortable but keeping up with all that glamour in whatever you chose to wear. Rock on, indeed. Ms. Ross was not stinting, no doubt.

Ms. Ross — Throughout the show she was a study in sequins on flowing gowns. (Such quick changes, too.) First, the turquoise; then the red; then the white. When we parked, an attractive middle-aged couple got of their car, and the woman was tastefully and dramatically dressed. My words to her were: “Wow, you sure are diva-ed up tonight.” Her husband smiled so proudly at her, as he obviously thought she was really attractively turned out, too. There were great outfits and fantastic pieces of jewelry on many. Because I am always cold, I wore the Moroccan (?) top (A255179) with the V-neck from several seasons ago. I chose to wear the black/lilac although I have it in the gold/orange and raspberry as well. Wore the shiny Linea black jacket (A273860) that I had to remove after my excessive “backup singing” and gestures. Black pant by non-QVC vendor. Silver (short) Palm Necklace completed my look.

I just checked the names of the clothing pieces. The top was known as the “Tile Print” and the jacket was the “Techno.”
