Another look at the BOHO

I thought you deserved another look at the BOHO IN ALL THE COLORS available…….the BLACK…..OLIVE…..MOCHA…TAUPE ……CHILI PEPPER. ….especially for those who are new to LINEA. Please notice the straw shirt/jacket over the olive and the white safari georgette shirt over the mocha. The sage safari shirt looks great over the olive Boho too [not pictured]. I thought I would show you the C.P boho simply, with just an ivory/off white tank, a black belt and some jewelry. The taupe is with the black crew neck which is now avail along with the Pale Olive and the new Peacock…..a perfect transition look and the black boho I have photographed two ways. 1- with a black tank tucked in…a quiet  sexy look….maybe not so quiet….  2-a SNEAK PEEK at what is coming this fall………….I will only say the IVORY turtle neck is the new ivory reorder of the silk/cashmere. My lips are sealed about the jacket so don’t bother asking….LOL

Okay Louis…I won’t ask you about the beautiful leather jacket. But I will say that if this is being offered this coming Fall one of these beauties will be coming home with me. (smile)

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Then it ill be yours! It will be on my Sept show….just in time before the cool weather sets in.

  2. Nara

I just received my chili pepper boho and am in love- it’s my favorite shade of red! I can’t wait to wear it and to get the safari in the same shade- I shall feel very “Lady in red-ish!” As usual, there goes my clothes budget! But what a way to go….thank you, Louis.

Louis, every single picture is a masterpiece! Any woman has endless options with a Linea wardrobe.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

Thank you Celia,…..that is my training from my early days at Anne Klein, and I might add her philosophy too………wardrobe building….wait until you see fall. It is definitely outstanding!

Do you have August and/or September dates?

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

          Yes,
The dates I have been given are August 6th which is soon after my July 31st show. The show is a two hour show from 4pm to 6pm. I think it’s too soon after the July show since each show has a lot of new styles, but it’s not my choice. The Sept show is on the 10th at 4pm. At least there will be some breathing room between the Aug and Sept shows. I will say….. the clothes look fabulous.

            Dear Louis,
Your reply here gives me hope. I will be in Australia and probably on an extremely long plane flight home (total travel time between Melbourne and my home will be approximately 30 hours!)when you will be on air on the 31st. I cannot tell you how devastated I have been since discovering that I will probably miss both of your shows on that date. There are so many items that I feel I must have. Is it possible that some of your sneak peaks will be for the August 6th and 10th shows instead of just July 31st? If so, is it possible for you to tell me what will be on those shows so that I can plan accordingly?
You are my personal designer at this point. I count on your complete sense of wardrobe and style now. These new pieces you have posted are gorgeous, and, dare I say, some of your best. At least at QVC.

    Great pictures, Louis.
Will the beads in the “chili pepper” pics be avail. on the Q?

    Thanks!

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No I bought those at the Jacques Caranaques Gallery in NYC. They are one of a kinds. There is a many in the gallery who strings beads together and makes these one of a kind necklaces. He never tries to reproduce another. He is very happy just making these individual necklaces. It’s a wonderful place and I recommend it to anyone who comes to NYC. It’s the most interesting store. Jewelry is a miniscule part of his business.

I thought that the ball necklace you styled Maria in during the presentation of the tribal print cardigan was just stunning!!! – Maria looked like a total knock-out in that indigo tribal cardi with that fantastic ball necklace. I hold the small hope that you might be tempted to offer THAT necklace at some point. In the meantime, I am so excited to get “my” scarf-tops in 3 colors and wear them with my fabulous byzantine necklace – the 61 incher. I have the shorter (not the one with the cross but the other) one on waitlist and haven’t given up hope of seeing it at some point 🙂 (aka TheOwl)

I’m another who would love the gold ball necklace in a gunmetal, silver leaf, pewter, you-get-the-picture color!

  7. Chris/Jazzmom

My only question is: will the jacket be in more than the black colored one showing? My lips are sealed after this! LOL

      1. Celia

        Great answer!

  8. Yvette

“My lips are sealed about the jacket so don’t bother asking” Ha,ha, Louis you know us so well!!

  9. Nancy (aka smilesalot)

I won’t ask about that smashing leather jacket.. I’ll wait and pounce the second it is for sale!
The Bohos look wonderful any way you style them~ and the chili pepper is a year round pleaser.
Maybe I should order two since it will get such a workout?!

I might be having one of those moments, but the necklace I am referring to looked like the J153879 graduated gold ball necklace, but it was in gunmetal. It probably was a couple of years ago. I can’t remember what jacket you had it styled with on air, but it had to be one with gunmetal trim. That gold ball necklace is one of my favorites, and I would love it in the gunmetal. It sits perfectly at the neck and has great presence with a jacket.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

No, it is me who was having the moment…..and yes I do remember the necklace and no it hasn’t been ordered, but you never know….one of these years it might show up.

  11. Julia

Oh you TEASE! I have the cashmere/silk turtleneck in espresso and it is so plush! When the ivory is available I’ll be getting that one for sure. I have the black on waitlist. Now I’m encouraged that maybe there will be a reorder of the black to actually fill the waitlist. The leather jacket looks great, too, and with the t-neck and boho it is so YUM. I love the way you styled the boho for winter. I just received my chili pepper boho and the color is WOW! I put it with the black sequin sleeveless top from last fall/winter and it looks like a show stopper for a Christmas party. Must be something about the recent 100+ degree weather that makes me yearn for fall and winter.

    1. Louis Dell'Olio

      Dear Julia,
The cashmere blend sweater has been reordered in the black and will be coming in the two new colors, Ivory as in the picture and MY NAVY…..Glad you liked the Chili Pepper. I too, think the color came out terrific…..better than I had hoped for. It has so much life to it and yet it isn’t bright and garish. The sequin top with the skirt……what a terrific idea.

      1. Julia

Navy, too! It will be mine. I’m hoping the navy turtleneck will work with the navy cardigan so I can wear them together as a set. Are they both your dark navy? Will they work together.

        1. Louis Dell'Olio

They are supposed to be the same color, but since they are in totally different yarns, you can never be sure of a perfect match. I haven’t received my navy cardigan sample yet and I’m not expecting it for quite a while.

          1. Julia

I’ll be getting both regardless of whether they are a perfect match. I have the navy tank and so many other pieces that both the cardigan and the plush, yummy cashmere/silk turtleneck will work with that both are on my must have list. I love navy and aubergine, navy and brown, navy and white/tan/sand, navy and mallard blue…

            1. Louis Dell'Olio

You won’t be sorry. I have my sample, which is the first of production coming through, and it is lush, deep and a beautiful navy sweater……………and with the NEW NAVY PEARLS….WOW

            2. Julia

Wahoo! I’ve got the navy pearls on waitlist. Thank you reminding me. Can’t wait for fall!

  12. Louis Dell'Olio

The jacket is fabulous…..the beads are from Jacques Carcangues Gallery and can be ordered directly, and I’m not sure which gunmetal ball necklace you are referring to. The only think coming in gunmetal are the two length knot necklaces.

  13. designista

You are such a tease with that leather jacket and it is a WOW! Are we going to get those carnelain and black beads shown with it? And what ever happened to the large ball necklace that you showed in gunmetal a couple of years ago…Im still waiting.
