……………………….The SAMBURU people are a related tribe of the Maasai……..They too are herders……..They eat raw meat and drink the warm blood of their animals mixed with the warm milk of the cows………Well, maybe I’ll draw the line with their eating habits, but on every other level they are an INSPIRATION…..There are many men featured in these pictures, because I was struck with their confidence, and desire to be the peacocks of the tribe. They are just as decorated with their beads, head dresses, painted faces and brightly colored clothes as the women. This parure is sensational , they have already cheered and inspired me.
