Morning everyone…..I have unfortunately come down with the flu….I went to my doctor on Sat. and he told me I’m not going anywhere. He gave me strict instructions, and medications. I haven’t had the flu in many many years, because I always get a flu shot. This year the flu got me before I could get my shot. To say I feel horrendous is an understatement. I forgot how debilitating the flu makes you feel. I know you are disappointed, but there’s nothing I can do. Of course Jennifer, who is great, will take over. I had Lou, my dog sitter and my nurse! send all of the samples and accessories down to Jennifer just in case this turned for the worse, so she is up to date on everything. You will see the show as I intended. I will be home, along with you, watching the BIG DEAL being presented…..cheering Jennifer on…..Jen and I have had long conversations about the show so she’s more than ready…..The blazers look great, and the more I see what a STRONG TREND they are for this fall and next spring 2020, I know making them the Big Deal was the right thing to do. My advise is to order your size. These are an easier fit than the Crepe Gauze blazers so I know you will be perfect in your normal numerical size…..I will be here laying on the couch watching TV, and falling asleep, so if you have questions now or during the show I will try to answer them…………………….Back to bed with me………………..much Love……………………….Louis

Louis so sorry to hear you are not feeling well and I miss you but Jen did a fabulous job since I purchased axed 2 blazers and 2 blouses ..they are gorgeous and what a fabulous BIG DEAL. your clothes go everywhere with me and I always get so many compliments
So as a medical professional I am advising you to rest up drink lots of fluids and follow doctors orders hoping we see you again soon

Just wanted you to know that your Ivory Blazer has been getting airplay last night on PM Style during the Joan Rivers faux suede shirt presentation, Courtney was wearing it with the faux suede shirt under it and this evening Amy on QVC2 Bethlehem Lights is doing the entire presentation in the Ivory Blazer! It looks fabulous!!!!

They will be offering the shot to us at work next week… I take the shot every year also; as a health care worker, I don’t want to pass it on to my patients. Oh Louis do take care and rest!! We take homeopathic oscillococcinum and elderberry syrup every few hours the first few days. I wish we were in the same neighborhood so I could stop at the health food store and drop some off for you! I will be watching sweet Jennifer and look forward to the show. Love and hugs dear Louis!
I sensed , by your comment earlier, that something was coming. So sorry. I ordered my yellow and camel earlier. Jennifer will do her usual great job, but it’s not quite the same without you. I’ve waited on my flu shot a bit, as I wanted the immunity to peak at the usual flu peak. Guess I’ll go get it now! When I did get the real flu, I was able to start Tamiflu pills, and that helped. Just know how happy you are making so many with these perfect blazers!
Oh no, Louis!!! The flu is nasty, nasty, nasty. But I am so happy that you are following your doctor’s orders and staying home to get all the rest and care that you need. My recommendation? Won Ton soup seems to cure whatever ails me! Must be those Chinese herbs. We will all miss you for sure but also know that Jennifer will do an outstanding job. Wow, Louis! I am so sorry to hear that you have the flu. This seems to be so early in the season for flu. I just got my flu shot yesterday — this was late for me, usually I get it earlier (and, now, I’m glad I got it yesterday). I’ve also heard of many cases of pneumonia this year. So, please, take care of yourself. As others have said, this is not something to fool around with. Be assured your loyal Linea ladies are all wishing you a quick recovery. We will miss you, but we know Jennifer will do a great job presenting your creations.

I ordered the yellow plaid blazer. The minute I saw it in your blog I knew it was the one. One of the first of your pieces that I ordered many moons ago was a blazer. If there is anything particular that Jennifer may not get the opportunity to say that you would have wished said, you can always chase us down here, or on Facebook. Hope your flu is over within the week. We just got our flu shots in early September. The blazer still isn’t available for ordering but it looks like the sizing is the same as Jac’s blazer which I own in the ivory.

I am saddened to hear that you are sick with the flu. Please rest, take in lots of fluids and please have Lou bring you some soup made from chicken stock. If you have a Chick-fil-A restaurant near you, they offer a truly tasty and satisfying chicken soup chock full of veggies and noodles. It has drive-through. You just know their soup will make you feel better while you are eating it. If you do not have a nearby Chick franchise, please get some Greek “avgolemono” soup (the Greek chicken soup) from a Greek eatery. It, too, holds magic. If all else fails, Campbell’s Chicken Noodle soup is always there to carry you through.
My thoughts are with you and I pray you improve soon. We were surprised by an avalanche of beautiful jewelry today on QVC. You know my eye found its way to the “Multi Capri.” Take good care of yourself! Rest. Sleep. Eat good food.
