“THE EL MOROCCO NECKLACE AND EARRING REVISITED”

……………………..The EL MORROCO NECKLACE, J483112 and companion EARRING J483106, is in a class by itself. It is so much more than a classic piece. It has a boldness that immediately grabs your attention. Years ago, for our 10th wedding anniversary, I bought Jac a beautiful bold gold chain link bracelet from Bulgari. The size and  design of the link was so bold and different you knew immediately this was a very unique and special bracelet…..That was all she needed to wear, it made that strong a statement……..Classic, yes, but the size and drama of the links took it to another level. The minute you looked at it on her wrist you knew it was something special worn by a special woman. Jac was far from flashy, but this she loved……..I knew she would……It was a bracelet everyone commented on……The El Morocco necklace has the same effect. If it were real gold it would be in the category of the bracelet, and probably be $40,000 and maybe more with the DIAMOND BALL…..in this case crystals. These pieces are made so well, they look real…………The GOLD………SILVER and GUNMETAL are all beautiful and all say something different…………..The simple PAVE DOMED EARRING comes in all three colors plus two more. They are both in PIERCED and CLIP………On their own they can be an every day earring…………………..These pieces would make a very impressive present for someone special, and when ever they were worn people could help but notice………

……………………………….Happy Holidays……………………..much Love………………Louis

Dear Louis, thank you for sharing the story of Jac’s bracelet. She meant so much to all of us who watched her for years and read her tips on fashion on your blog. What would Jac do? is a frequent thought I have when contemplating dressing for a special occasion. I am still away from home, but the El Morrocco pieces are the first things I’m ordering as soon as I get back. Timeless classics with the Louis twist.

Louis, I just got my earrings today in Russian gold and silver ox. I’m crazy about both pairs and left a glowing review on the Q! I ordered the embroidered skirt in latte (fingers crossed that I actually get it!) and can’t wait to wear it with a black turtleneck and the Russian gold earrings. Minimalist dressing meets romanticism! Thanks so much for bringing us these pretty, pretty fashion choices.

Louis, you described this necklace and the coordinating earrings perfectly. I received them in the goldtone. My immediate reaction was that there was a “classic boldness” to the look. Like you, I thought that done differently, this necklace might appear too much of a statement; on the contrary, it is presented in the most circumspect manner. A woman with extremely classic and controlled taste should respond positively to this piece. The earrings, of course, are moderate in their look even though there are so many crystals. I bought the gunmetal finish in the earrings, too, and have the silvertone on hold. Not to be missed, in my humble opinion. The necklace looks superb with turtlenecks and open necklines. So chic!
