“SPRING IS HERE!!!!!”

…………………….It may not be official yet…..but SPRING arrived in blooming color at our house…….42….count them….42 POTS OF PANSIES HAVE BEEN PLANTED….whew! My back porch is a sea of pansies…….and rows and rows of DAFFODILS are already half way grown, and it’s only mid March! It was such a beautiful day after a morning of torrential rain. The sky cleared, the sun came out and dried all the brick….It was the perfect time to PLANT……………..Now it’s all done…………and I know JAC IS HAPPY……..Nothing made her happier than Pansy planting day, and to take a step back after it was complete and take all of the beauty in………..It’s always a happy and sad time for me…..I wish with all of my heart she was here with me to enjoy her pansies………………………………..I like to believe she is

    She is Louis.
I love the pansies especially the periwinkle against the sharp red🌹ones, it’s the perfect
Lipstick Red. I know how much work this can be . Even after you put them in the ground
or a pot, maintenance is still required . It’s all worth it, though. This year I got surprised with
a bed full of Calla Lilies which I discovered had not been blooming because of a pushy hibiscus
tree. Jac would know exactly what I mean.😉

Dearest Louis, I love seeing your annual pictures of Jac’s pansies! They are beautiful and so many of them! I know spring is almost here when you show your pansy pictures. That’s a lot of potting to do. Some of my tulips are just starting to peek out of the ground. It’s such a cheerful gift to behold when they burst into bloom amidst the rest of the landscape that is still waking up.

We had a more mild day the other day and I had on the merlot embroidered top and fawn ponte pants. I went to go out and put on my vino suede trench. I looked in the mirror and smiled as the vino trench with the beautiful embroidery from the merlot shirt peeking out was just lovely. Thank you for giving me such beautiful clothes to wear.

Hi Louis, When I saw your beautiful pansy pictures yesterday, they inspired me to go out and buy some for my planters. I had been hanging on to my ornamental cabbages — which, by the way, still look great — but thought it is definitely time to move on to pansies. Thanks for the inspiration!

So beautiful Louis! Just like the gorgeous ivory blouse I ordered. 💜

Thank You Louis for sharing the beauty! And thank you for echoing that beauty in the spring clothing and jewelry pieces: The Jac garden blouse (exquisite), the Jac Garden necklace, earrings and bracelet (gorgeous) and how all the gorgeous spring colors go so beautifully with the faux suede jackets. I already had the perfectly pink and the buttercream, (of course the black) and caved recently for the Loden Green. At the same time I purchased the loden green ponte pant and oh boy is THAT a stunning pairing. Now I want a loden green pencil skirt to match 😉 But the loden suede jacket with the ivory Jac blouse is just breathtaking. SO much beauty and honestly, isn’t that what we need badly right now with all of the spreading ramifications of Covi 19.

As someone who definitely does not have a green thumb, I appreciate those who do. The pansies look gorgeous! Thank you for sharing all of these lovely pictures.

I so enjoy your posts about pansies! Brings fond memories back to me—my maternal grandmother who passed long ago had a green thumb and pansies were one of her very favorites. She even had a white pique pansie print dress that she had sewn herself and that’s the only garment of hers I can really remember. Sadly, I didn’t inherit either of those skills! And yes, I did buy the Jac pansie scarf in remembrance of both of these remarkable women. Thank you Louis.
